* December 5, 1956: Guest Art Linkletter lamented the fact that "Good Old" Bill Cullen was always left out of secrets involving activities done outside the show [[note]](this was something they couldn't help; between ''Series/ThePriceIsRight'', his daytime radio show and various other jobs, his schedule was just too busy for him to get involved in ''I've Got a Secret'' beyond the weekly 30-minute live broadcast)[[/note]] and set out to right that wrong by asking the audience to give anything they didn't need to Bill as a token of appreciation. Garry Moore concluded the program by asking viewers to send whatever old junk they had lying around to "Good Old Bill". By the next week's program, 148,000 packages had been sent to "Good Old Bill".
