[[folder: Price Family Timeline ]]

!!Discount Armageddon
* Dominic's compassion for Piyusha's brothers - before he is fully convinced that not all cryptids are monsters. He's still working through what cryptids really are, but he recognizes too well what their grief means and that their sister didn't deserve to die, let alone to be brutally murdered by a snake cult.

!!Snake in the Glass
* Dominic convincing Angelo Kakalos to let his younger daughter, Dina, marry Manos (whom she is more temperamentally suited for than his elder daughter). Dina confesses that she doesn't love Manos but they could learn to love each other, and it seems by the end of the story they are well on their way to doing just that.

!!Magic For Nothing
* Sam shows up for Antimony to face down the Covenant, having rationalized that he lies to protect himself on the regular and Antimony lied to him about her true identity while working to protect his carnival from the Covenant. He suggests they forgive each other for the lies and get back to their growing relationship.

!!Tricks For Free
* Antimony's parents can't come to her school or watch her cheer, to avoid even the smallest chance of giving the Covenant a hint of their existence. It leads to her teammates thinking she has abusive or deadbeat parents. Antimony has resigned herself to this, and then she runs out onto the field and who does she see? Her ghost aunts, Mary and Rose, there to watch and cheer for her.

* Mary's love and concern for Antimony throughout the book (and ''Magic for Nothing''), but especially when she declares that she's part of the family.
-->"That doesn't matter. Your family is who you tell the twilight belongs to you, and I told the twilight, and the crossroads, that I was a Price-Healy. You're mine. I'm yours."

* On the other hand, how much Antimony cares for Mary. Especially seen in ''That Ain't Witchcraft'', in the scene where they summon Mary.

!!Imaginary Numbers
* Sarah and Artie finally having their BigDamnKiss after [[CannotSpitItOut dancing around the subject]] for years.

!!Calculated Risks
* Antimony deciding to trust Sarah, even though she doesn't remember who she is and is automatically suspicious of cuckoos.

* All the interactions between Sarah and Greg, her GiantSpider BondCreature. He will defend her from anyone and anything that means her harm, but half the time this means ''she'' has to protect ''him'' from getting himself killed.

* At the end, when [[spoiler:Artie is an EmptyShell after the equation wrote over his entire mind]], and Sarah [[spoiler:draws the memories of Artie from everyone in the family, including the mice, to rebuild his personality from the ground up]].
