!!The Film
* Veronica inviting Betty Finn to play croquet. It's the only time she looks like she's genuinely enjoying herself.
* In a weird way, seeing the pictures of Heather Duke playing with Martha Dunnstock at summer camp. She wasn't always such a bitch. At the end of the movie when Veronica takes away her red scrunchie (the symbol of her power), she actually seems to accept it, so there's still hope for her yet.
* Veronica stopping Heather [=McNamara=] from committing suicide and convincing her not to throw her life away. They end up having a genuine FriendshipMoment afterward.
* The end, where Veronica invites Martha to sit the prom out and rent some movies together.
* In the beginning of the film, Heather Duke and Veronica seem to be the friendliest to each other of the Heathers, with Veronica helping Duke purge and Duke laughing with Veronica about JD's "prank" on Kurt and Ram.
* After Heather Chandler's death, Veronica and Heather [=McNamara=], surprised to see Heather Duke carelessly eating a chicken wing, question her about her bulimia. When Heather Duke responds with an emphatic "fuck it," Veronica can be seen giving a genuine smile.
* At Kurt and Ram's funeral, the former's father gives a short, poignant speech about how despite his son being gay, he loves his son, even shouting "I love my dead, gay son!" Yes, he laced the speech with some negative remarks about gays, but it doesn't negate the love he has for his son.
* When Heather Duke makes a ''cruel'' comment regarding Martha's attempted suicide, Veronica gives her a good slap. Given the crap Martha is subjected to, it's nice to know there's ''one'' person who cares about her.
* JD shows some minor PetTheDog moments to Martha and nerds getting picked on by the [[JerkJock Jerk Jocks]].
* Peter informing Veronica about the rumors of her performing oral sex with Kurt and Ram. And unlike many males in this situation, he doesn't ''assume'' she did it or even make fun of her.
* At the end, Veronica, who has just witnessed JD kill himself via explosives, asks a recovering Martha if she wants to hang out and watch movies. And for the first time in the movie, Martha smiles. And the credits roll as the two budding friends talk with one another.
* A small moment, but when Veronica is going through Heather Chandler's locker, we can see a picture of the two of them together pinned to the inside.
