* "Somewhere in Dreamland" is alternately this and a TearJerker.
** Putting the short in the context of [[TheGreatDepression the era it was created and takes place in]] makes the ending wherein the store owners in town make as generous of a donation of their wares to the poor family as they do even more sweet. Money is understandably very tight in this time period and the three of them would surely have to watch their own respective pockets. And yet when they see the two children sadly gathering scrap pieces of wood outside, they agree that they cannot let that stand and give the kids and their mother a veritable feast that's sure to last them a long time anyway, and it's not hard to imagine that they would continue to support them any way they can going forward. It's human generosity's finest hour.
* Same goes for "Musical Memories".

The man Macguyvers an entire Winter Wonderland out of anything he can reach for these kids, before topping it off by dressing up as Santa Claus. Why is he doing this? Because he '''felt''' like it. Because dammit, NOBODY deserves to be miserable on Christmas.
* The sheer joy the fly has on his face when his wife cuts him out of the web in "Cobweb Hotel" is very cute.
