As you can tell by the existence of this page, those who considered this movie a SadistShow that didn't have any heart probably either weren't paying attention or put more weight on the unpleasant scenes.

* Mr. Woolensworth reprimanding Foxy Loxy when she brings up Abby's nickname in the middle of class.
* Chicken Little and Abby helping each other during the dodgeball scene.
* Chicken Little and Abby's kiss (pictured to the right) and Abby's reaction to it.
-->'''Chicken Little''': By the way I'd like you to know that I've always found you extremely attractive! (''kisses Abby, who [[FootPopping foot pops]]'')
* Buck (after Chicken Little scores the winning homerun): '''"That's my boy!"'''
* Abby telling Chicken Little he's not a loser and then rattling off how smart, funny, and [[FreudianSlip cute he is]].
** Just Chicken Little and his friends. He trusts them enough to share with them the fallen piece from the spaceship even when he doesn't want to tell his own father the truth.
* Chicken Little finally connecting with his dad during the climax.
-->'''Buck:''' You need to ''know'' that [[PlatonicDeclarationOfLove I love you]], no matter what. And I'm sorry...I'm sorry I ever made you feel...like that was something you had to ''earn.''
** Even earlier, despite his obvious alarm at the AlienInvasion in progress around them, Buck makes every effort to chase down his son and take him with him during his escape.
** After Buck finally listens to his son's criticism towards him, he admits to his son that he's right about everything. He never says "Well son, If it wasn't for you...", he takes all the blame to himself: '''"I've never meant to.. the acorn, the sky, I mean, the whole... (sighs) You're right. You're right."'''
* While Buck's behavior during the first part of the film was definitely not good fathering behavior[[note]]and he admits it by telling the aliens "That's bad parenting! [[HypocrisyNod I should know!]]"[[/note]], he ''does'' spend the last part of the film doing everything possible to make it up to him, from the father-son heart-to-heart in the movie theatre, to ''finally'' admitting he believes in him (and more specifically, his solution to the problem), to going full-on PapaWolf on the invading aliens and [[GoThroughMe pushing Chicken Little behind him]] when they're confronted by the alien [[spoiler: father]].
* Chicken Little being kind and gentle towards Kirby and immediately making the decision to get him back home no matter what. He comforts Kirby when he starts crying and gives him his handkerchief to blow his nose. Then, when the handkerchief gets stuck to Chicken Little's hand, he just smiles at Kirby to wordlessly let him know that it is alright.
** A small moment but still cute, when Kirby sneezes, his hair becomes a frizzy mess. Chicken Little gently sets him down and fixes his hair.
** Chicken Little also is very protective of Kirby and saves him from being hit a car and catches him when he falls a great height. Chicken Little even does a dangerous stunt just to get Kirby closer to his parents.
*** After Chicken Little saves Kirby from being hit by a speeding car, the latter gives him a fist bump. Seconds later, they do a SecretHandshake that is both heartwarming and awesome to watch.
* Kirby getting excited and laughing when he sees his parents again. Poor Kirby must have thought he would never see his parents again so the sight of him getting excited about seeing them is such a heartwarming sight to behold.
* Kirby being reunited with his parents and standing up for Chicken Little and his dad as they were about to be disintegrated for falsely kidnapping him.
* Kirby's relationship with his parents in general, he loves his parents and vice versa. His parents love him so much that they brought the Galatic Armada to Earth and threatened to destroy the Earth if it meant finding him. Melvin even gives his son Kirby a hug while Tina, the mom, waves at Kirby with a smile before they leave.
--> '''Melvin:''' Sorry for the whole "full-scale invasion" thing, but hey, I am a dad, you know how it is with your kids. When they need you (Kirby jumps into his dad's arms and they hug while Tina waves at Kirby with a smile) you do whatever it takes.
* At one point during the end while they were watching the movie, Chicken Little and Abby hold hands.
* Chicken Little and Morkubine Porcupine have a fist pump together during [[https://es.ign.com/chicken-little-cell/44055/video/virtual-interview-with-chicken-little this interview]]
* Some of the DeletedScenes have pretty uplifting moments:
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntC0585oWlA&t=148s This one]] features the disastrous fight in the cafeteria, in does have two gems: Fish giving Chicken Little a nice hug and Abby assuring him [[BeYourself he doesn't have to prove anything to anyone]].
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIGAuPMWNA4 In this one]], the Mayor gives Buck badly needed advice on dealing with Chicken Little.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gf3gyzMnR1o&t=212s&pp=ygUdY2hpY2tlbiBsaXR0bGUgZGVsZXRlZCBzY2VuZXM%3D In this one]], where Chicken Little is a girl, Buck assures her that despite his frustrations, he still loves her.
