* In "A Lesson in Tightropes", as Ginger recovers from appendicitis, Carl thanks Dr. Dave (Ginger's surgeon and the kids soon-to-be stepfather) and when told he should go into the room to be with his family (his mother, sister and biological father, the last of whom he's not fond of), Carl explains that he'd prefer staying with Dr. Dave. As the two watch from outside, Carl reaches out and hold Dave's hand.
** In the same episode, the conversation between Dr. Dave and Jonas is quite heartwarming
** Carl being relieved when he watches Lois and Dave kiss after they fixed Ginger's room up with the balloons and flowers.
** Ms. Zorski (Ginger's old middle school teacher) visiting Ginger. A CoolTeacher through and through.
** Carl was about to call his mother before the ambulance. His concern in a few scenes after is really uplifting.
** Dr. Dave reassuring Ginger (and probably Lois as well) before wheeling her into surgery, "You're going to be in the best possible hands, mine."
* A strange example but in the episode "Wicked Game" Dodie and Macie conspire with Miranda and Mipsy to break up Ginger and Darren. When Courtney finds out, she immediately decides to help Ginger. It goes to show that for all her naivety and shallowness, Courtney really was one of the best friends Ginger ever had.
* Hoodsey saving Ginger from [[WarmWaterWhiz the girls prank]] in "Sleep On It", and Ginger standing up for Hoodsey in return.
** Also counts as a SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome.
** And thanks to Carl's spycam, Dodie and Macie get to see Ginger at the sleepover. Rather than getting annoyed, Carl offers the girls drinks and they have fun watching.
* Miranda's PetTheDog moment. It's clear she ''hates'' Ginger and is willing to break her and Darren up, but in the episode "Ginger's Solo," she actually consoles Ginger when she's rejected by Sasha.
** She had a few before, but she mentioned to Dodie and Stacey in ''Summer of Camp Caprice'' that they ''did'' save her life, which is why she was being nice to them. Miranda had a smile of genuine gratitude.
** Miranda reveals in the same special that she does like Courtney as a friend, and rushes to Camp Caprice to help her.
* In the final part of the last episode, we see Ginger and all her friends grown up, listening to her reading her book about all the adventures she had. We then see Darren holding a ginger-haired baby. Meaning, that despite all the problems that they went through during their relationship, they managed to still love each other, and get back together. And now start a family of their own.
** The Wedding itself, everyone has went through some turmoil during that season so it was nice to see them all together and united watching Lois and Dave wed.
** Lois's talk to Ginger about how it's important to take risks and not be afraid to live life to the fullest and love freely, even with the risk of a broken heart.
** Right before the wedding, Lois happily hugs Dodie and Macie while telling them how she thinks of them as her adopted daughters.
** When Ginger calls Dr. Dave her "soon-to-be-dad." What makes this especially heartwarming is that throughout the show, Ginger's always tried to keep her biological father Jonas in her life, despite the fact that he hardly ever paid attention to her, and missed many important moments in her life. Dr. Dave was more of a father to her and Carl (trying to be supportive, attentive, and saved Ginger's life in Lesson in Tightropes), than he was. And yet refused to call him "dad" or even just admit that he's more fatherly than Jonas. Carl tells her this, but she would always dismiss it. Seeing her realize that Dr. Dave was always there when Jonas wasn't, and thus her father, was a sweet ending to this sub-plot.
** Monster the dog returning
* "Thanks for the flowers, mom."
** Making it a mixture of heartwarming and TearJerker is the fact that earlier we saw Lois on the phone ordering the flowers for Ginger, specifying her favorite flower as sunflowers. [[TearJerker Then Lois told the flower shop to write "From Dad" on the card so that if Ginger's dad flaked out of the poetry reading, Ginger wouldn't be too crushed.]] Another layer to the heartwarming is that Ginger realizes which parent really cares enough about her to send the flowers.
** There's also the reading itself. Ginger is heartbroken as she reads the poem and realises her father didn't come, and finishes off looking like she's about to cry. But the audience breaks into applause at how good her poem is, and Ginger has to take a moment to realise the applause is for her. She can't help but smile. And then backstage, everyone heaps her with praise for how good she was.
--> '''Dodie:''' I've got the permanent chills.
** Hoodsey's visit to Carl in the hospital and Darren commiserating with Ginger about her father.
* Macie's ever-busy therapist parents forget about her birthday in "Family Therapy", causing them to feel guilty and spending some quality time more fitting for a small child, along with throwing a juvenile party for her. Despite all of this, Macie genuinely enjoyed the love and attention she was getting from her parents -- along with the party she never got to have -- despite knowing full well she was way too old for that kind of stuff.
** And while Ginger is terrified of how the other kids will react to the birthday party at the petting zoo, everyone has a great time. Courtney especially, to the degree she worries how she'll be able to top it for her own 13th.
** Carl finding that the Naked Mole Rat he was frightened of, was scared herself, and soon takes her and comments with Hoodsey on how cute she is.
* Lois and Courtneys' interactions in "Mommie Nearest" are this. Courtney's Mom is noticably absent and Lois is just loving and patient to her.
** At the end, Courtney convinces her mother to cancel the cruise she was planning to recover from her surgery on. This suggests that Courtney will make an effort to bond with her now.
* A small moment from "Losing Nana Bishop". When Ginger is spending time with Jonas, her biological father, she asks him to tell her what Grandma Foutley, his mother, was like. Ginger says that "she must have been pretty great", and Jonas tells her that it made up for the fact that his own father was such a disappointment. He rubs his eyes and speculates that it must "run in the family". He ''knows'' that he's not the best father in the world and that he needs to make more effort to be in his own children's lives (which he eventually does, later in the series).
** Carl talking with Hoodsey and letting him know that he needn't like his relatives just respect them. One can see that being close to the Foutley family is one of the best things to happen to Hoodsey.
** Hoodsey's eulogy at his Grandmother's funeral, attempting to understand and appreciate her, even if the two of them weren't that close.
** Ginger, Carl, Lois, and Hoodsey watching old family films, especially when it ends with Lois taking the boys out to [[ItMakesSenseInContext get their mask and shackles off]] and Carl stops before he calls her "Lola" with just Mom.
* "Ms. Foutley's Boys" Lois giving sage advice against entering a relationship so you won't be single and alone, with her kids each giving her a kiss on the cheek.
* Lois consoling Ginger after the girl experiences some trouble when people suspect she's suicidal. Ginger asks if Lois is worried that she's depressed and Lois answers thusly with a hug.
--> '''Lois:''' No. You're a bright, sensitive young woman. The kind of person who understands peoples' feelings, which is why you can write about them so beautifully.
** And it turns out that Ginger's poem gets published, if TheStinger is taken as true.
** Carl and Noelle connecting together.
* ''Far From Home'' is made of these:
** Lois letting Ginger know she can always come up to Avalanche Arts Academy if she needs her.
** Darren telling Ginger she's made for bigger and better things than their hometown can provide for her.
** Courtney, Dodie, Macie, and Darren [[RaceForYourLove rushing to see Ginger]]--for the girls it's to inform her of sabotage, but for Darren, it's to confess his love to her.
** Noelle saving Carl from drowning with her telekinetic powers and earlier in an argument, they're telling each other they'd never cannibalize the other person.
** Darren and Ginger sharing their first kiss.
** Darren taking the train ride home with Carl, Noelle, and Hoodsey.
** Thea/Mipsy informing Ginger she may have been in on the sabotage for Mipsy's Bat Mitzvah money, [[BecomingTheMask but said she grew fond of the redhead.]]
*** This gets a small CallBack in a later episode in which Ginger mentions that she wrote to Thea.
** Ginger packing her bags for the return to Sheltered Shrubs with her "singing" about how Darren was there all along while she arranges photographs of the most important people she loves: Lois, Carl, Dodie and Macie, and Darren.
* "Kiss Today Goodbye" was a TearJerker but the one sweet spot involved Carl and Lois looking at houses to buy for after she marries Dr. Dave, after seeing several weird homes and an uncharacteristically disgusted Carl is satisfied with the modern-style home they end up viewing; Lois admits that she took him to the odder homes just for him to enjoy since he'd be bored with viewing normal homes, Carl tells her he wouldn't be bored: he takes his role as the sole Foutley man seriously and merely wanted a home where all four of them would be happy. This touches Lois (who wanted to spend more time with him), they embrace, and Lois cries tears of joy.
* Macie's performance as the Little Seal Girl. At first it looks as if everyone is going to laugh at her. Things go FromBadToWorse as the tape recorder malfunctions, and two girls joke about how bad they think it's turning out. Then Macie opts to sing the song herself and ends up moving everyone with it, Courtney included. As part of the routine, she tosses her flipper into the crowd and the same girls who had joked about her catch it excitedly. And Macie ends up winning the contest.
** At the end of the episode, Courtney asks Miranda why they don't hug like Ginger and her friends.
* In "Heat Lighting", Courtney returning to Camp Caprice with Ginger, Dodie, and Macie, despite having a miserable experience the last time she attended.
* In general, we have Winston the butler's relationship with the Gripling children. It's obvious that he genuinely cares for them (which the family seems to return) and is clearly more of a father figure to Courtney and Blake (especially the latter) than their own (mostly unseen) father is.
