[[caption-width-right:350:''"You see Heather, what I realized is that with you, it's not like I'm running towards a goal looking for the best way to score. This may sound a little corny, but...I feel like I've already won."'']]
* The romance between Oz and Heather is quite tender. He's the only guy who tells his date about the virginity pact, but Heather doesn't push him away because it's clear by now that he no longer cares about it.
** The next morning, Oz doesn't tell the other guys what went on between him and Heather. They assume he didn't get laid and he's content to just let them believe that.
* Kevin is reluctant to tell Vicky he loves her, not because he doesn't, but because he wants the moment to be special. When they're in bed and ready for sex, Vicky pulls back as Kevin is about to get on top of her.
-->'''Vicky:''' Kev...
-->'''Kevin:''' Yeah?
-->'''Vicky:''' I want to hear you say it.
-->'''Kevin:''' Okay. Victoria...I love you.
-->'''Vicky:''' ''[smiles ear to ear]'' ...I love you. ''[she pulls him in and kisses him]''
* This moment:
-->'''Jim's Dad:''' Jim... I want you to be careful. I don't want you to be hurt. \\
'''Jim:''' I know Dad, I know. ([[ManHug they hug each other]])
* A very subtle one at the prom. It looks like Kevin and Vicky don't want to be seen sitting next to Finch, the guy who destroyed a toilet and ruined his newfound reputation. This is true, but they still feel for him as friends; Vicky squeezes his shoulder and Kevin pats him on the back as they squeeze past him over to the dance floor.
* This one exchange between Kevin and Vicky, in the second movie:
--> '''Vicky''': Maybe I was being selfish in wanting to be your friend. Maybe it's just not gonna work.
--> '''Kevin''': Victoria... [[JustFriends I would much rather have you as a friend than not have you in my life at all]]. ''(They hug)''
* The fact that Jim picked Michelle when he could have had Nadia. In that one scene, we see that he's no longer the awkward boy that he was at the start of the film, but a man who has figured out where his heart truly belongs.
* In a very odd way, Stifler and Finch’s friendship can be considered this. Regardless of their clashing personalities and Finch’s repeated trysts with Stifler’s Mom, it’s clear that they have a bond that can withstand anything.
** In ''American Pie 2'', Jim asks Michelle why she never stuck around the morning after they had sex. Michelle thought it would have seemed awkward and didn't want to pressure Jim into pretending to love her like other guys would just to get sex. Jim says he's not like other guys. Even when he was still fixated on Nadia, Jim still felt a connection with Michelle.
* Jim and Michelle's entire relationship is filled with heartwarming moments. One of the best occurs when he first asks her to be his prom date. Her genuine excitement at going to prom with him is ''adorable.''
* The whole proposal scene at the beginning of ''Wedding'' is pretty heartwarming in itself, even if it was pushed after Jim is literally caught with his pants down as Michelle tries to blow him under the table at the restaurant and Jim's Dad once again manages to pop in at an awkward time. Jim's dad is on the verge of tears watching his only child proposing.
* The moment in ''Wedding'' when Michelle asks Jim's dad for help with her vows. You can tell that her brief reason for asking him meant a lot to the guy by his expression and quiet tone.
-->'''Michelle''': Jim said that you were always there for him.
-->'''Jim's Dad''': Jim said that?
* In ''American Reunion''
** When [[ThoseTwoGuys the two MILF guys]] reunite while watching Stifler and Finch's mom do it on the lacrosse field. The way they only say "MILF" over and over just shows how strong their bond is after all this time.
** The guys find out Stifler's yearbook entry was "to keep the party going with his boys". In spite of his dickish attitude, Stifler valued every moment he spent with them.
** When the guys try cheering Stifler up, Jim says "You ''are'' kind of a dick, but you're a ''fun'' dick, and you're ''our'' dick". Kevin then adds that Stifler was the reason high school was so awesome.
** Kevin tells Vicky that while he's moved on from her, she's always had a special place in his heart.
** The look Jim and Michelle share when she ends up with a flute near the end... it's a lot more heartwarming than you might think.
