* Why is it that neither Jane nor Goldie noticed that every time they did a job with Wrecking Paul, a (female) security guard ended up dead? Did they not ever watch the news to see what people were saying about them? A string of robbery homicides with a guard's head bashed in would seem to newsworthy.
** Firstly, standing orders were for Jane and Goldie to stay put until Paul had "secured the area". He made sure he was out of sight before killing. Secondly, this is why the girls were always sent out of town after a mission; anything reported on the news would have been while they were away, and by the time they got back, something new would be on the front page. Thirdly, all of their missions took place in different cities: Washington, New York, Chicago, etc. One extra homicide per city wouldn't be noticed for a while; note that when J.P. is caught, Mr. Mighty says that the company is starting to be investigated. Lastly, remember they were stealing from crooks, who were less likely to cooperate with police.
** With all that in mind, it's likely that some of the henchwomen in the past started to get suspicious. This is one reason why J.P / Paul kept his double life; the women would be leery of Paul, so they'd go to their boss and ask what was going on. J.P. locks the door, changes, and the unlucky henchwoman is toast. Jane might have reached this point herself in a few more months, if things had gone differently.
