[[GreenEyedMonster Green-Eyed Monsters]] in AnimatedFilms.
----

* In ''WesternAnimation/BarbieInPrincessPower'', Kara's cousin Corrinne is jealous of her abilities as Super Sparkle and becomes Dark Sparkle to show her up.
* In ''WesternAnimation/CareBearsMovieIIANewGeneration'', the girl protagonist made a DealWithTheDevil to become Camp Champ.
* Chick Hicks, the villain of ''WesternAnimation/Cars1'', is a bright green racecar. His envy of The King's success wouldn't be such a problem if it wasn't so personal. What he does on the final lap demonstrates just how much it's twisted him.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Cinderella}}'': The reason why [[WickedStepmother Lady Tremaine]] abuses Cinderella is that she's "bitterly jealous of Cinderella's charm and beauty." The same is probably true for the ugly stepsisters too. Also, like the Queen in ''WesternAnimation/SnowWhiteAndTheSevenDwarfs'', Lady Tremaine has green eyes.
** ''WesternAnimation/CinderellaIIIATwistInTime'' takes this further with Anastasia, who is very jealous of Cinderella, living a wonderful life with her true love while she has a miserable one and no love. This starts the plot when she steals the Fairy Godmother's wand.
--->'''Anastasia:''' ''(to Cinderella)'' I want what you have.
** ''VideoGame/KingdomHeartsBirthBySleep'' brought the Tremaine family's envy up to eleven; they even go as far as to [[spoiler: outright try to murder Cinderella when she is freed from their tyranny]].
* Heavily implied with Isabela Madrigal in ''WesternAnimation/{{Encanto}}''. While she's aloof to the younger members in her family, she's especially harsher to her youngest sister, Mirabel, the only one born into the family who didn't get a magical gift, which spares her the burden of being pushed to be perfect all the time, and she's free to do whatever she wants, something Isa desires.
* [[spoiler:Prince Hans of the Southern Isles]] is both a literal ''and'' metaphorical case in ''WesternAnimation/Frozen2013'', having emerald-green eyes. Living under the shadow of 12 older brothers, he is the SpareToTheThrone back home. DrivenByEnvy due to having a SuccessfulSiblingSyndrome, it leads him to develop a selfish desire to become the king of another country by any means possible so he can rub it in his brothers' faces and never reconcile with them.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Hercules}}'': [[EveryoneHatesHades Hades]] is [[TheResenter resentful]] [[DrivenByEnvy and envious]] of how the Greek pantheon considers his older brother Zeus a UniversallyBelovedLeader while he is [[ZeroPercentApprovalRating virtually hated and despised on Olympus]]. All of the gods are not happy at his appearance at Hercules's birth ceremony, and his lame pun is met with scowls. But when Zeus makes a similar lame joke about Hades's workaholic nature, the pantheon bursts into laughter. The resentment causes him to find a way to overthrow his brother and become the king of Olympus.
* Judge Claude Frollo from ''WesternAnimation/{{The Hunchback of Notre Dame|Disney}}'' just like in the book invokes this when he discovers Quasimodo has been protecting Esmeralda and has relationship with her, Frollo's lust for her is so great he's jealous of his adopted son. Ironically despite his rage at Quasimodo for "falling under the gypsy's spell" (like him) Frollo doesn't any moment of jealously towards Phobeus her actual LoveInterest, unlike the book where he almost killed Phoebus upon seeing him about to have sex with Esmeralda. Perhaps it’s because, unlike in the book, Frollo might actually [[UnknownRival be unaware that Esmeralda and Phoebus are in love.]]
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Leo}}'': Squirtle exposes Leo's scam to the kids primarily because he's jealous that Leo is much better at connecting with them and gets all their love and attention, while they never think much of the turtle. He redeems himself when he [[spoiler: gets the class to rescue Leo from the Everglades.]]
* [[BigBad Scar]] from ''WesternAnimation/TheLionKing1994'' is a literal case: a ferocious lion with bright green eyes, [[CainAndAbel murderously]] jealous of his brother [[KingOfBeasts Mufasa]].
* Randall Boggs in ''WesternAnimation/MonstersInc1'', who is also a green-eyed monster, had grown incredibly tired of being second-best to the Mike-Sully team in scaring children. We find out in ''WesternAnimation/MonstersUniversity'' that he ''was'' Sully's superior in scaring for some time but was humiliated by Sully at his biggest chance to prove himself, and in front of practically the entire student population, that he developed a permanent grudge to Sully.
* Leeyoon from ''WesternAnimation/MuneGuardianOfTheMoon'' is the apprentice of the Guardian of the Moon, who was promised his position and assured that the ceremony where his successor will be chosen would merely be a formality. When the [[IncorruptiblePurePureness Creature Purest of Heart]], the one responsible for choosing the next Guardian of the Moon, chooses the titular Mune over him, Leeyoon's envy [[spoiler:attracts the snake spirits, who proceed to corrupt him with their power]]. [[spoiler:As it turns out, the Creature Purest of Heart was right to choose Mune over Leeyoon after the moon dies on his watch]]. He gets over it by the end of the film.
* Remy the Rat from ''WesternAnimation/{{Ratatouille}}'' was jealous that Colette could get public recognition for her culinary prowess and he couldn't.
* ''WesternAnimation/SnowWhiteAndTheSevenDwarfs'': The Evil Queen's motivation is jealousy of Snow White's beauty. She also has green eyes, as does her henchman the Huntsman.
* Bowser's growing hatred of Mario in ''WesternAnimation/TheSuperMarioBrosMovie'' stems from the fact Peach likes the plumber more than the King of Koopas. He sees Mario as a rival suitor intentionally trying to steal "his girl" and make him unhappy, and decides to make it personal when he [[spoiler:ends up in Brooklyn at the story's climax]]. The irony is that Mario is only with Peach to rescue Luigi, whom Bowser has held captive in his castle, and isn't interested in pursuing a romantic relationship with the princess (for now at least).
* This is Woody's FatalFlaw in ''WesternAnimation/ToyStory1''; a NiceGuy otherwise, but competition for his position as Andy's favorite toy leads him to trouble, and his bitter nature leads him into ''more'' trouble.
** Ironically, the roles are reversed in ''WesternAnimation/ToyStory3'', when Spanish-mode Buzz, after seeing Jessie hug Woody, becomes extremely jealous of him.
-->'''Spanish Buzz''': [[https://youtu.be/bSfP2RM7tSY?t=75 ¡El Vaquero!]]
** The whole reason [[spoiler:Stinky Pete]] from ''WesternAnimation/ToyStory2'' became bitter is because he had to spend "a lifetime on a dime-store shelf, ''watching every other toy be sold!''".
* ''WesternAnimation/TurningRed'': Though not outright stated in the movie itself, the [[https://docs.google.com/viewerng/viewer?url=https://lumiere-a.akamaihd.net/v1/documents/turning_red_advance_disney_81eb700f.pdf pre-release summary]] confirms that Ming dislikes Miriam because she sees the latter as a threat to her relationship with Mei.
* The reason why "going turbo" is a bad thing in ''WesternAnimation/WreckItRalph'' besides the fact that a character can die permanently in a game that is not theirs. Turbo was the protagonist of an 8-bit racing game who grew upset and jealous that a new racing game was becoming more popular than his game. He decided to enter that game which caused glitches to appear and got both games to be decommissioned. [[spoiler:He still hasn't learned his lesson as King Candy.]]
