* In the episode "Cat Nap", Garfield watches something on TV that is described as an intellectual debate, but is actually just the two guys childishly bickering on which of them is right.
* In "Agent X", Garfield claims to have done things and gone places. When his friends ask him to give examples, the only examples Garfield can give are different places he's slept and different kinds of Italian foods he's eaten.
* "High Scale"
** In Garfield's nightmare, Nurse Psycho states that she hopes Garfield likes pea. Garfield jubilantly declares that he does like peas, but Nurse Psycho then clarifies that she meant pea in the singular and demands that Garfield finish his food so he can begin exercising.
** The ending, where Garfield finds out that [[ShaggyDogStory the scale that was used on him was on the wrong setting, so he went to the trouble of losing weight for nothing]]. Jon nervously tries to calm Garfield down by convincing him that it's still a good thing he lost weight, but Garfield instead starts chasing Jon away in anger, stopping only to get payback against the scale by having an elephant crush it with the weight of its foot.

* "Glenda and Odessa":
** Odie gets a bit ''too'' into character while DisguisedInDrag with Garfield, even blowing a kiss at Hercules, Harry and Rottweiler as well as batting his eyes at them.
** In the ending, Nermal demands a kiss from "Glenda", unaware that the woman is actually Garfield in drag. Rather than go to the trouble of kissing Nermal, Garfield tells Nermal to close his eyes and has the kitten kiss Odie's tongue.
* The numerous failed attempts Jon makes at photographing himself, Garfield and Odie at their front door in "Family Picture", especially when they have to deal with the interruptions of Nermal and a nosy neighbor. Heck, one of their attempts near perfectly captures Jon's sketch of the photo except for the fact that [[LastSecondPhotoFailure Nermal decided to sneak up behind them to photobomb it]].
* The ending of "Super Me", where Nermal is for some reason unable to tell the real Ultra Powerful Guy from Garfield disguised as the superhero and the two decide to abandon Nermal on the moon, where the kitten is still asking which of them is the real Ultra Powerful Guy.
* Odie giving an AsideGlance in "The Big Sneeze" after Jon claims that everything on the Internet is true. You know you've said something real dumb when even ''Odie'' is taken aback by your assumptions.
* In "Depths of a Salesman", Garfield and two security guards momentarily pause a chase scene so that they can pop bubble wrap (twice!).
* "The Great Pizza Race", full stop. It's laden with hilarious gags from start to finish.
* In the "Long Lost Lyman" special, Garfield encounters a Franistan mockingbird, who repeats everything Garfield says. Garfield tries to make something out of it by getting the Franistan mockingbird to repeat a statement praising Garfield, but the mockingbird refuses on the grounds that he can't lie about Garfield. Garfield then gets back at the Franistan mockingbird by turning the tables and repeating everything the mockingbird says.
* At the end of the "Little Trouble in Big China" special, Bella Bellissima's lackey Voldo decides to tell her to her face that she can't sing, seeing that she and her cats Siam and Tyham have turned to stone. Immediately after saying so, this statement instantly causes Bella and her cats to break out of the stone unharmed and to start chasing after Voldo in anger.
* "The Lasagna Tree"
** Mama Meany watches Eddie Gourmand singing on TV, which results in him picking up a phone and ordering that Eddie Gourmand no longer be allowed to ever sing again, even in the shower.
** During his EngineeredPublicConfession, Mama Meany states that his fettuccine Alfredo is neither real fettuccine nor is it actually made by a man named Alfredo.
** When he ends up out of business because of the EngineeredPublicConfession used on him by Garfield, Mama Meany laments how he may as well throw all his food away and close his restaurant. A bystander tells him that he made this decision at the right time as a garbage truck drives in. The truck happens to be driven by Mama Meany's former lackeys, who had to become garbage men because it was the only job they could take after Mama Meany fired them and proceed to go on a tirade about how awful Mama Meany's food is as they load it into the back of their truck.
* The twist ending of "Little Miss Mouse" where it turns out that Squeak's niece is more than capable of defending herself when she subjects Bruno to MetronomicManMashing.
