!!The Video Game

* The game does not take itself very seriously in general. The [[LemonyNarrator narrator]] is always making passive-aggressive snipes at the dangerous, ex-convict shark hunters out to get you.
* The various hashtags that pop up during cutscenes undercut most tension generated by them. One of them occurs right after Scaly Pete's first boat explosion that makes his son disappear, presumed dead. As we pan out, we see [=#RIPFirstUnit=] because, obviously, the camera crew was on that boat too when it blew. Whoops.
* Grab a creature and then use your tail-whip ability on it to send it flying. YEET!
** A boat that has suffered enough damage is considered destroyed and essentially enters a "ragdoll" state, which was clearly designed to help it sink realistically, but also allows a boat 2 to 3 times the size of a fully-grown "Mega" shark to be casually tail-swiped hundreds of feet through the air. There's no practical reason for doing so, but certain players may find the spectacle hilarious; the lack of damage modeling and the altered physics cause massive boats to bounce around like empty cans.
* You can jump out of water and flop across dry land for short periods to get to more human prey. It looks extremely awkward (although effective). The best part is the "WTF?" screams humans make because the last thing they ever expected to see that day is a gigantic shark flopping onto land to chow down on them.
* There's a lot of garbage in all of the various golfing water hazards. One is a landmark called the "Monument to Frustration" which is a giant pile of bent golf clubs.
* Some of the lines said by the [=NPC=]s can be quite funny, from the various (bleeped or non-bleeped) expletives and screams of fear in general, to the quips from Hunters.
** One example being that if you bite onto a Hunter and don't eat them or keep biting, they might say "BAD SHARK! BAD SHARK!..." while being held in your mouth.
** Another funny, rare example: "WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS?!?"
