It's really every single [[EpicFail moment]] in each film, but here are some of the best.

!!Other films:
* ''The Midnight Patrol'': Stan and Ollie arresting their chief of police for [[ItMakesSenseInContext breaking into his own house]].
* In ''Block Heads'', Ollie invites old war buddy Stanley to his home. Before long, Stanley's destroyed Ollie's car, the wife has left in a huff, and the apartment is destroyed. Ollie tries using the phone, unaware the line's been severed, and after a long conversation realizes he's been talking to Stanley... Ollie chuckles merrily, then ''[[DisproportionateRetribution throttles]]'' him.
** Stan turns on the cooker, but doesn't light it. A few minutes later, Ollie walks into the kitchen with a lit match. There's an immediate explosion and Ollie goes flying out the door.
** When they arrive at Ollie's house, Ollie demonstrates how to open his garage, by driving the car over a plate in the ground. Stan asks to try it out, and Ollie happily lets him. Stan backs out, the door closes, and Ollie tells Stan to drive it forward. Stan speeds forward, missing the plate completely, and Ollie's cheerful facial expression quickly turns to one of fright as Stan crashes through the garage door, destroying the car and almost Ollie in the process.
* In ''Blotto'', the entire phone conversation between Laurel and Hardy while Laurel's wife is in the same room. Laurel hangs up twice on Hardy, Hardy keeps trying to find Laurel's number in a phone book, and the slapstick during the third time they're talking. Also including the duo's reactions to the liquor (which was really cold tea with tabasco and various substances Laurel's wife put in), Laurel randomly bursting into loud tears while someone sings, and the last several minutes from the two laughing hysterically to them being chased by Laurel's wife, who is wielding a shotgun.
* The "[[ReallyGetsAround Jeanie-Weenie]]" running gag in ''Beau Hunks'', particularly where even the leader of the invading force has a photo of her. Even funnier is that ''every single man'', from the new recruits up to the General, is in the French Foreign Legion because of her jilting them.
** Similarly, the commander at a nearby fort attacked by the Rifs for 20 days hears reinforcements coming to save him and his men. He flings open the door in joy-then it turns out to be ''just'' Laurel and Hardy, separated from their troops by a sandstorm.
* ''Helpmates'' is wall-to-wall hilarity.
** At the beginning, after a montage of Ollie's house after a wild party, we see him giving TheReasonYouSuckSpeech to somebody. [[MirrorMonologue That somebody is his reflection in the mirror.]]
** Ollie getting his head caught through a drawer.
** Stan deciding to light a fire for when the Hardys get home. The fire won't light, so he pours some kerosene on the logs. Cut to a bit later, ''[[EpicFail the house burnt down]]''.
** There's this:
-->'''Ollie:''' Shut up and get this mess cleaned up! Do you realize that my wife will be home at noon?
-->'''Stan:''' Say, what do you think I am, Cinderella? If I had any sense I'd walk out on you!
-->'''Ollie:''' Well it's a good thing you haven't any sense!
-->'''Stan:''' IT CERTAINLY IS!
-->''[beat]''
-->'''Stan:''' ''[[DelayedReaction *mutters the exchange to himself confusedly*]]''
** Also a stove pipe knocks down and Stan yells to Oliver Hardy "LOOK OUT!" And the pipe hits Oliver's head and smokes are in his face.
* A number of montages showing the funniest moments have been uploaded onto Youtube. Here's the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VfvA-tnSwQI first one]], [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KezvSQIySUU the second one]], [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zhSs04H-tbo the third one]], [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0tWXBMjIV0 the fourth one]], [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5CUYWP71k4 the fifth one]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFYkXAssn7o the sixth one.]]
* In ''[[http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xt0s2a_laurel-and-hardy-them-thar-hills-1934-full_shortfilms Them Thar Hills]]'', local moonshiners dump their brew into the well during a heavy gunfight. Stan and Ollie later get water from said well, and when Stan finds the alcohol-infused water "funny", Ollie simply says that it's the "natural iron" in the water.
** Oh, and everything that happens to Charlie Hall.
** And when the well [[StuffBlowingUp explodes.]]
** Plus, the scene where Hall's wife and the boys get drunk.
*** "Tra la la, laa la la, laa la la la... PUM PUM!"
* ''The Battle of the Century'': The epic pie fight. Which also doubles as an EscalatingWar.
* In ''Two Tars'', the second half of the film, with all the CarFu and vehicle wrecking. Plus, there's the end where it shows the aftermath-one car is impaled on the back of a lorry carrying a very long log and another one is driving ''upside down.''
** The crazy car chase at the end, where the policeman orders everyone to follow the boys, and his [[EpicFail miserable attempts]] to commandeer a car after his bike gets run over.
** And ''then'' everyone has to stop chasing them because a train comes out of freaking nowhere and pushes them all away.
* In ''Pack Up Your Troubles'', there's the escalation of reactions to the boys' attempts to find the parents of their fallen war buddy Eddie Smith so they can unite them with Eddie's daughter [[NeedleInAStackOfNeedles (with the name "Smith" all they have to go on)]]. The first Smith they visit is obviously not Eddie's father (he's black, Eddie was white), but politely accepts Ollie's apology for the mix-up. The second is a boxer who thinks the boys are trying to blackmail him, and pops them both in the nose. And the third...hasn't lived in the house listed in the address book for years, but the family currently living there just happens to be holding a wedding that day, with the patriarch's daughter marrying a man named [[BreakingTheOneSteveLimit Eddie]]...and the boys show up claiming to have "Eddie's baby"...
** [[HilarityEnsues After the situation is cleared up]] (and the boys have fled the rifle-wielding father-of-the-bride), [[WeCouldHaveAvoidedAllThis Ollie firmly declares that they will be]] ''[[WeCouldHaveAvoidedAllThis telephoning]]'' [[WeCouldHaveAvoidedAllThis prospective Smiths from now on.]]
* In ''Chickens Come Home'', Stan, for the first and perhaps only time, takes it upon himself to preempt Ollie's [[NeverMyFault catch phrase]].
-->'''Ollie''': Well...
-->'''Stan''': Here's another nice mess I got you into.
-->'''Ollie''': ''[[AsideGlance (annoyed glare)]]'' Yes, and you're gonna get me ''out'' of it!
* In ''The Bohemian Girl'', Ollie's wife (played as ever by Mae Busch) has kidnapped the young daughter of a local count, and when Ollie demands to know who she is, tells him the girl is his daughter. Ollie is thrilled, but confused as to why he's only finding out about her now, when she's clearly not an infant. Busch's blunt excuse? "Because I didn't want her to know who her father was till she was old enough to stand the shock."
* ''Film/TheFixerUppers'' has Ollie's [[LargeHam amazingly over-the-top and blatantly obvious]] fake dying routine in a pistol duel. Naturally, his opponent falls for it. Then there's Stan's mildly reproachful reaction to the "murder":
-->'''Stan''': ''(pointing at Ollie's prone body)'' Now look what you've done.
