!!General
* If you know German, the [[GratuitousGerman names of the wesen]] are always good for a chuckle. The pronunciation makes it even better.
** Also true for Portuguese. A prime example of this is in the episode ''Death Do Us Part'', where the Wesen of the week is a Matança Zumbido, who kills his victims with massive shocks of electricity. Its name in English? "''Buzz kill''".
*** And again for the lone wesen-of-the-week with an Arabic name, the Musasat alShabab; while technically grammatically correct Arabic, it sounds really, really silly to an Arabic speaker. While shabab (شباب) can indeed be used for the abstract noun “youth” (as in fountain of youth, ينبوع الشباب), it’s more commonly the plural of shabb (شاب), “young person.” Musasa (مصاصة, musasat is the construct form) on the other hand, is laughably wrong; a musasa or more commonly, masasa, is a straw or lollipop (literally, “thing sucked on - ie sucker). So the name sounds like it means...”straw of the young people.” The word they wanted is massaas (مصاص), the agent noun, as in the translation for “vampire” (مصاص الدم/مصاص الدماء, literally, bloodsucker).

!!Season 1
* An early glimpse at Monroe: He goes outside to...mark his territory.
** Shortly afterward, he leaps through a glass window at Nick woged, tells him he shouldn't have come back... [[MoodWhiplash then cheerfully reveals he's not serious and offers Nick a beer]]. And that Nick's paying for the window. Nick just looks so confused.
* Monroe is quite a reliable source of these, with his constant irritation over being roped into acting as Nick's partner regarding the supernatural. "I was in the middle of Pilates!"
* In "Bears Will Be Bears" the family whose home was invaded has a neighbor. The neighbors' name? [[Series/TheColbertReport the Colberts]].
* In "Beeware" Monroe first warns Nick to not tell him to heel. And after Monroe complains that he sniffed the suspect out, Nick counters with a "Good Boy", with a shocked glare from Monroe and a smirk from Nick.
* In "Lonelyhearts", Nick asks Monroe to stake out at a bar to spy on a Ziegevolk who's been uses their pheromones after eating a specific kind of frog to seduce and kidnap women. Monroe manages to find the Ziegevolk sweet talking his latest target and tries to keep an eye on them… only to bail out of the bar a few minutes later because even ''he'' was starting to swoon.
-->'''Nick:''' What are you doing?\\
'''Monroe:''' No way! Dude, I can't be around that guy, he's way too potent. I almost bought him a drink!
* From "Danse Macabre": (Arresting some students who killed a music teacher.)
-->'''Sgt. Wu''': [[QuipToBlack Looks like they'll have to]] [[{{Pun}} face the music]].\\
'''Det. Griffin''': [[LamePunReaction ...You really went there?]]\\
'''Sgt. Wu''': ''Somebody'' [[ObligatoryJoke had to.]]
* Also from "Danse Macabre", when Nick [[spoiler: placed a fake rat on the pizza box to fool Hank]]. [[DisproportionateRetribution He warns of payback]].
* ''Another'' one from "Danse Macabre": The refrigerator repairman. Nick's reaction is equally hilarious. As the repairman proceeds to freak out over having found his way into the home of a Grimm, Nick simply gives him a somewhat bewildered raise of an eyebrow. He shows up again in "Let Your Hair Down" with several of his friends. They end up acting like teenagers in a horror movie. And once more in "Island of Dreams", delivering a quilt and a cherry pie, as well as repairing a doorknob and assuring Nick that he's doing what he can to keep other Wesen out of Nick's hair.
** The entire scene in "Tarantella" where Nick goes to confront Bud and John in their house. The way Nick plays up the terrifying Grimm act and how Bud and John are desperately trying to keep on Nick's good side was hilarious.
-->'''Bud:''' ... You have a very lovely wife!\\
'''Nick:''' We're not married.\\
'''Bud:''' Even better!
* Again, from "Danse Macabre":
-->'''Det. Griffin:''' How does a kid do something like that?\\
'''Nick:''' [[ComicallyMissingThePoint Well, he was an outsider and he was pushed too far...]]\\
'''Det. Griffin:''' Yeah, I know that, but how did he get all those rats to attack those kids?\\
'''Nick:''' [[BoredWithInsanity Oh.]] ''({{Beat}})'' [[BlatantLies I don't know.]]
* From "The Three Bad Wolves":
** Hap's introduction. Several close-up shots of him smoking, drinking, and looking possibly menacing. Then he lifts up ... a Shake Weight.
* From "Game Ogre":
-->'''Monroe:''' (Talking about the creature of the week) Fortunately, they're very rare, but if you ever run across one...\\
'''Nick:''' (Who's in a hospital bed after being smacked senseless by the Ogre) *DeathGlare*\\
'''Monroe:''' (Awkwardly) [[AskAStupidQuestion Well... I guess you... have.]]
** Monroe agrees to help take down the Ogre ("Okay, he said, somewhat tenuously") and visits Marie's trailer. He finds the poison ("Gift is German for poison, which I always thought was weird around Christmas time..."), and takes a whiff ("Ooh, that's gonna stick with me for a while!"). Finally, he opens the weapons cabinet... and gets this big-eyed look of ":D" awe on his face ("This is... awesome!")
** The episode title.
* Monroe's disparaging remarks about the mouse people, ending with the comment "And that [[WesternAnimation/MickeyMouse cartoon thing]] they have going on? Pft, what a racket!"
* Monroe pissed off at Nick for not having a normal human conversation.
-->'''Monroe:''' What's my favorite color?\\
'''Nick:''' What?\\
'''Monroe:''' You know, you never ask me about anything else. Like sports or music or who the hottest Bond babe was. You know, like normal conversation. Just saying. Be nice to switch it up once in a while, you know.\\
'''Nick:''' Well, what's your favorite color?\\
'''Monroe:''' You don't mean that.\\
'''Nick:''' No, really, I want to know.\\
'''Monroe:''' Red\\
'''Nick:''' Well, I feel so much closer to you now.
** This is immediately followed by Monroe explaining to Nick that male testicles are used as viagra by some species. Nick is just... staring at him, and then [[TooMuchInformation loudly cuts him off.]]
* Monroe's false start with the...train thing, and his minor freakout as he realizes he's going to be facing what's basically a dragon without a plan.
* [[RuleOfThree Once again]], Monroe provides the funny in "The Thing with Feathers" when he gets offended by Nick calling Rosalee instead of him.
** Rosalee lampshades it when Monroe (mildly) protests Nick calling her by telling them to do 'their thing' later when there isn't an emergency.
* "Love Sick": When Wu is given [[spoiler:the antidote for his illness]], he literally goes red like a tomato.
** And as they wonder whether the cure worked, he spits out the carpet he was eating and it hits Rosalee in the face. Complete with a *ping* sound effect. Pretty sure everyone involved thought it was funny since it looked like Rosalee's actress was attempting very hard not to break out in laughter when the carpet hit her in the face.
** And then the poor guy realizes he’s surrounded by strangers (and one coworker) in his apartment while in his boxers. There’s a reason ButtMonkey was added to the guy's character sheet after this episode.
* After all the drama of the big fight between Nick and Adalind, we get the aftermath of Monroe and Rosalee tending to Hank, and Monroe asking Nick how they're going to explain the presence of two random people in the bedroom of what the muggle (Hank) thinks is his girlfriend's house while he’s probably naked under those sheets. The sheer awkwardness of that situation is just made of cringe humor. (Too bad we don’t see it on screen)
* Monroe having dinner at Nick's. The sheer awkwardness of the whole thing is so excruciatingly embarrassing that it's ''hilarious''.
-->'''Juliette:''' You told him about the cabin.\\
'''Monroe:''' No, I told him about the boots, because, uhh...\\
'''Nick:''' The boots led us to the cabin. Which means, in other words: without the boots, there would be no cabin.
** A very subtle one during the lead-up to this as well: Nick is working at the table when Juliette comes over, asking, "You know what I would like to do?" Romantic music kicks in as they start to kiss, before she mentions having Monroe over... [[RecordNeedleScratch at which point the music abruptly stops.]]
* A small one but as Rosalee and Monroe work on paralyzing a cat, Monroe makes various remarks about how Blutbaden don't really work well with pets and how they should just use a 2x4 to knock the cat out. Rosalee just gives him the funniest {{aside glance}}.
* Wu's response to finding a bunch of dead teens in the woods that neatly wraps up all the previous guesses Hank, Juliette, the farmer and Nick made. "Well, it's obvious these murders were committed by a barefoot man carrying a wolf!"
* Again, in Big Feet: Larry dies, and Nick and Monroe move the body to the woods. After they lay down the body, Monroe gives a small speech which ends with this exchange:
-->'''Monroe:''' Alles hat ein Ende, nur die Wurst hat zwei.\\
'''Nick:''' That sounded really beautiful. What does it mean?\\
'''Monroe:''' 'Everything has an end, only the sausage has two.'
** In case you're wondering, it's the title and refrain of a popular german song from the 80's

!!Season 2
* In "Bad Teeth" Monroe comments on how bloody his family reunions get, and that at the last one they lost two cousins and a sheepdog. "Nobody cared about the cousins."
** Nick goes to threaten Adalind's mother over the situation with Juliette while his own mother waits in the car. When he comes back out, he says Catherine told him she's not involved and he believes her. His mother thoughtfully asks, "Did you threaten to kill her?" and Nick indignantly replies "Yes!" He sounds exactly like a teenager saying "I know what I'm doing, Mom! ''God''!"
* At the end of "Bad Moon Rising" Wu to Nick:
-->'''Wu:''' Hey, so let me get this straight. In the last ''(glances at his watch)'' six hours, you're arrested six villains, saved a damsel in distress and reunited a family, while I filled out three dozen overtime reports and scrubbed out the coffeemaker. [[DeadpanSnarker Yeah, we've all put in a rich, full day.]]
* In "Quill" the really spacey way Rosalee say that she’s infected “with love”.
** Earlier in the episode, the whole scene with Adalind's cat: from the part where we see it on the ceiling, to where it's let outside, followed shortly by [[ThatPoorCat the sound of a crashing vehicle and a screech]]. Rosalee and Monroe decide not to check what happened.
*** Monroe's reaction when Rosalee shows him what's left of the cat's carrier.
---->'''Monroe:''' Okay… that warrants a "How the Hell did it do this?"
* The sheer visual oddity of seeing a Blutbad (wolf Wesen) leading a flock of Seelenguter (sheep Wesen).
** And while he's in real danger, it's still blackly amusing at the end of that episode to see Monroe, the big bad wolf, running for his life from a herd of sheep Wesen.
* Hank's reaction to finally seeing Monroe in his proper Blutbad game face. He jumps backwards, knocking his chair over, as Monroe woges back, then starts trying to placate him. Hank picks his chair up, sits back down, and says in an air of childlike wonder/fascination "Could ya do it again?"
* Hank's reaction to Nick admitting he ''does'' have a crossbow and then showing him the WallOfWeapons in the trailer.
-->'''Hank:''' You have got to be kidding me?!
* Monroe's subplot in "[[HalloweenEpisode La Llorona]]". You can see the ending from a mile away, but it is no less satisfying.
* Wu vs. Renard:
-->'''Renard:''' (''after accepting an award'') To be honest, I really don't like these things. Always feels like I'm getting the credit for other people's work.\\
'''Wu:''' Well, you are. *{{Beat}}* Well, he ''is''.\\
'''Renard:''' ''(EPIC DeathGlare and extremely frostily)'' I'm sorry, what precinct do you work at again, sergeant?\\
'''Wu:''' ''(takes the hint)'' I'll go buy you another drink, Sir.
* Bud the Eisbeber gives Nick AND Hank hugs after saving him [[spoiler: from a wannabe Grimm]].
* This exchange:
-->'''[[spoiler:Wendigo]]:''' (''being beaten up by Nick at the end of the episode'') You're a Grimm?!\\
'''Nick:''' [[DeadpanSnarker Took you long enough.]]
* After a long series of dramatic events in "Face Off", including [[spoiler: Juliette and Renard nearly engaging in DestructoNookie, Nick and his friends finding out about Renard being a royal, and Renard stealing the key and then giving it back to Nick to propose an alliance]], we get a scene where Nick and Renard both show up at Juliette's doorstep and she responds with a completely deadpan "now what?"
** When Monroe suggests finding Adalind's mother to figure out how to reverse the mojo on [[spoiler: Juliette and Renard]], Nick replies that they can't because she's dead. Because [[spoiler: ''his'' mother]] killed her. Monroe's dejected half-sigh says it all;
---> '''Monroe''': ''Why?!''
* The last episode of the calendar year, ending in the most dramatic fashion possible. It fades to black to reveal the words: {{To Be Continued}} ..... [[TrollingCreator Sorry]].
** All of Monroe's attempts to be supportive and helpful to Nick in all this is a cross between funny and heartwarming. He's trying so darn hard, but he's so darn flustered by it all.
** Renard's wry commentary when Nick [[spoiler: drinks the potion]]
--->'''Nick:''' (Having done it and feeling fine) Was that it?\\
'''Renard:''' No.\\
(Nick doubles over)\\
'''Renard:''' That's it.
* Monroe and Renard finally meet in "The Other Side". Just seeing their personalities come together is GOLD, but especially this bit:
-->'''Renard''': I need something for obsessive behavior.\\
'''Monroe''': Okay, now just to be clear: do you have obsessive behavior or you WANT obsessive behavior? 'Cause we can deal with both...\\
'''Renard''': No, it needs to go away.\\
'''Monroe''': All right. I have to ask you a couple of questions to find out exactly what we're dealing with here. Are these feelings for a person or [[BestialityIsDepraved an animal]]?\\
'''Renard''': (DeathGlare)\\
'''Monroe''': Sorry. [[CrazyPrepared I have to be thorough.]]\\
'''Renard''': A PERSON.
* In "Mr. Sandman", Monroe, Nick, Rosalee, and Hank are having dinner together, discussing [[spoiler:the goings on with Juliette and Renard]]. Monroe gets up to get some more wine, then asks if anyone else wants some too. [[INeedADrink Cue three glasses all being held out for refills in unison.]]
* From "One Angry Fuchsbau", the whole incident with Monroe chasing the frog.
** From the same episode, the final scene where the [[spoiler: Zeigevolk lawyer]] is seeing each member of the Grimm gang and responding to each with a shocked, "You!" And then there's Bud:
--->'''Bud''': Oh, hey...how are you doing?
** And there's Bud trying to get the handkerchief back.
--->'''Bud''': My wife gave me that handkerchief for my birthday. On Christmas. My birthday's on Christmas, just like Jesus.
** The whole [[ZanyScheme scheme]] is just one long CMOF with commercial breaks in between.
* In "Volcanalis", Nick, Renard, and Wu all ganging up on Hank and "forcing" him to go on vacation was both hilarious and sweet. The lei around his neck was the icing on the cake.
* Nick wants to enter a trailer when the owner is away. He starts to open it himself when...
-->'''Monroe''': Don't you need a warrant for that?\\
'''Nick''': You're right. (beat) [[LoopholeAbuse You open it.]]\\
'''Monroe''': Oh... okay...
** Same episode gives us "Nick: MomentKiller" when he comes in at precisely the wrong time for Monroe and Rosalee.
* Monroe very mistakenly gives a pregnant Wesen in hard labor his hand to hold onto. Cue cracking bones and Monroe doing his best to keep a manly expression.
* When Monroe tells Bud that Juliette wants to see a woge, Bud reacts like this:
-->'''Bud:''' She's seeing...''you know!'' And he's been very clear about...YOU KNOW! And we just can't...''YOU KNOW!''
* Each time Monroe is about to woge for Juliette, somebody comes up with a reason to put it off. When she inquires about it:
-->'''Monroe:''' I take some getting used to.
* By contrast, when Bud woges for her, even though she doesn't say anything her expression shows she thinks he's adorably cute.
** Made even funnier by the fact that he didn't do it on purpose. He was just so freaked out by the idea of woging for her that he did it on accident!
* The season 2 finale ends with [[TrollingCreator ''To be continued. Oh, come on. You knew this was coming.'']]

!!Season 3
* Poor Sgt. Wu having to fight back the zombies with the rest of the cops.
-->'''Wu:''' I think we've got most of them... ''(body SPLATS in front of him)'' ...handled.
* Similar to the season 2 finale, the first episode of the new season ends with a cliffhanger and the blurb - ''This ain't over yet''
* Adalind's trials. Just when the [[SarcasmMode poor woman]] thinks she's done the last icky-gross thing to get her powers back, Stefania gives her a new thing to do. It's only better for those who consider Adalind a [[TheScrappy less beloved]] [[TakeThatScrappy character than most.]]
* Hank sees Monroe AND Captain Renard woge at the same time. It's the first time he's ever seen Renard's hideous GameFace. He stares at Renard.
-->'''Renard:''' You okay?\\
'''Hank:''' I wish I could do that!
* The SerialKillerKiller in "El Cucuy" is [[spoiler: a 77-year old CoolOldLady]] who acts completely casual during the entire episode's events, even when soaked in blood and sitting in an interrogation room. It has to be seen to believed.
-->'''[[spoiler:Mrs. Garcia]]''': Ay chihuahua, you're a Grimm!
** Nick's face when he discovers who it is, seriously, pause it on his face after [[spoiler:she]] shifts back to normal. Renard's face looking at the culprit through the two-way mirror at the police station is just as priceless.
--->'''Renard:''' Are you ''kidding me?''
** Same episode, the way that the whole Grimm gang (minus Renard) are sitting in Monroe's house having a meal and talking about the different mauling techniques of wesen as if it's the most mundane thing ever, while looking at the crime scene photos.
** When [[spoiler:El Cucuy has been captured and is sitting in the interrogation room, she says that she must be off, as she's done her duty.]] Hank stares at [[spoiler:her]] and says "Do you really think we're going to let you go?!" [[spoiler:El Cucuy]] simply looks at him with a SlasherSmile and says sweetly "I don't think you really have a choice." Cue Hank and Nick looking awkwardly at each other, then giving tiny nods and scurrying out.
** Monroe's mum finding out about him and Rosalee.
*** It's not even really ''her'' reaction to the news that is so funny, so much as Monroe and Rosalee's awkward and mildly uncomfortable reactions to the realization that "Oh ''yeah'', we need to tell our parents about us. Crap."
* In "Stories We Tell Our Young" Nick and Hank are getting a primer in wesen genetics from Monroe and Rosalee. When the topic turns to different wesen types having children we get this exchange:
-->'''Nick:''' We don't mean to pry.\\
'''Hank:''' [[BrutalHonesty Yes we do.]]
* Renard being forced to escape through the sewers after his safe house is attacked, resembling nothing so much as a very irritated cat.
* Wu talking about how his uncle told him there were alligators in the sewer. "And I peed in the bathtub the entire time I was there - you would have done the same!" He says the last bit with the exact same intonation as the first, like it's the most normal thing in the world.
* Juliette is super-excited to help Monroe decorate for Christmas, until he accidentally lets slip that there are 42 boxes of decorations.
* The monster of the week during Christmas turns out to be [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krampus Krampus]], who, in Germanic tradition, horrifically punishes misbehaving children. Despite being in a life-or-death situation with multiple lives on the line, every Wesen character can't help but get sidetracked and incredulously ask: "Krampus is ''real''?"
* Although the [[DomesticAbuse situation is anything but funny]] there's a small moment where Nick realizes that Juliette's friend who's staying over is a fuchsbau but she doesn't see that he's a Grimm. Juliette's confused look is priceless:
-->'''Juliette:''' Something wrong?\\
'''Nick:''' [[ImplausibleDeniability Ah, nothing.]] [[IHaveToGoIronMyDog Just gonna put her room in the bag.]] ''[[OhCrap *rushes out with suitcase*]]''
* Same episode, after Nick, Hank and Wu have to have decontamination showers and their clothes incinerated, they're seen walking back into the department in those sterol onesies and shoe covers. Listen carefully and you can hear the theme park version of the ''Franchise/{{Ghostbusters}}'' theme song play in the background as they walk in.
** The fact that one of the cops even says "Who ya gonna call?", as he is passing by the trio makes it even more hilarious.
* Juliette giving Joe a well placed GroinAttack when he tries to drag Alicia away.
** For that matter, Juliette proceeding to beat the tar out of Joe with [[ImprovisedWeapon anything and everything she can grab]]. Gets better when Alicia ''[[TheDogBitesBack joins in]]''. Topped off when Nick rushes in, gun drawn, and more or less has to rescue the jerk from the ladies.
* In ''The Wild Hunt'', Monroe and Rosalee talk about [[DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything their first times]].... performing a woge. Rosalee first says it was with her brother, which is deemed embarrassing, and Monroe's is said to be with his mother, which is deemed better by comparison. Until the actual context of the situation is explained, it sounds so incredibly wrong and CrossesTheLineTwice.
* At the end of ''The Wild Hunt'' . . .''Oh #?$%!!!!!! To Be Continued''
** Bonus points: this was released right before the 2014 Winter Olympics, meaning that everyone would have to wait an entire month for the next episode.
* When Viktor is informed that Renard had relations with both Adalind ''and'' her mother (but not at the same time, mind) he reacts with "That's... sort of impressive."
* Monroe telling Nick that his favorite childhood book had a Grimm surrounded by Wildesheer, and that the Grimm never survives. Nick gives him a long flat look.
* Monroe and his parents, having reconciled, are having dinner with Rosalee, Juliette, and Nick when an awkward comment results in all the wesen woging. Nick promptly jumps up holding a carving knife and telling everyone to calm down while Juliette can only look on, bewildered, because she can't see what just happened.
* In "Mommy Dearest", Monroe, Rosalee, Nick, and Hank are looking for the case's wesen in the trailer.
-->'''Monroe:''' Pick it up right before the "and then I cut off his head" [[ThisIsThePartWhere part]].\\
'''Nick:''' ... Alright. [[SeenItAll "snuck down a putrid alley...fetid smell of blood...cut off its..."]] ...okay too far.
* In "Synchronicity"
** When Adalind realizes [[spoiler:she just was taken to Nick's house]] for protection, she mutters "[[OhCrap Oh God.]]"
** And Nick [[spoiler:and his mother]]:
--->'''Nick:''' I guess she doesn't know who you are either because you killed her mother.\\
'''[[spoiler:Kelly]]:''' [[ButForMeItWasTuesday Oh, yeah, I'd forgotten about that.]]
** And
--->'''Nick:''' Did you kill the driver?\\
'''[[spoiler:Kelly]]:''' Why would I do that?\\
'''Nick:''' Just checking.
** Adalind relaying the story to Renard is worth a chuckle too.
--->'''Renard:''' Where's the woman who's supposed to be protecting you?\\
'''Adalind:''' ''That's'' an interesting story... Turns out that woman? [[spoiler:She's Nick's mother.]] [...] Imagine my surprise.\\
'''Renard:''' Did she know who you were?\\
'''Adalind:''' If she had, she wouldn't have taken me ''to Nick's house.'' Imagine ''their'' surprise.
** Also, Nick explaining Renard to [[spoiler:his mom]].
* Hank gets a moment in "Law of Sacrifice" when he's that Adalin's child belongs to Renard.
-->'''Hank''': [Adalind] has a baby? You're kidding me.\\
'''Nick''': Nope!\\
'''Hank''': When did this happen? I mean, when did she give birth? I mean... how old is the baby?\\
'''Juliette''': It's not yours.\\
'''Hank''': Thank god. I mean... thank god. That's not a woman you wanna have a baby with.\\
[''Kelly looks on, amused'']\\
'''Hank''': Who's the idiot father?\\
'''Nick''': The captain.\\
[''Hank is surprised'']\\
'''Kelly''': Popular, this Adalind.\\
'''Juliette''': That's one way to look at it.
* In "My Fair Wesen," Nick explaining to Juliette that Trubel is not ''technically'' a murder suspect, because they knew she did it
* In "The Inheritance":
** Trubel and Rolek Porter are talking around each other, feeling each other out before using the word "Grimm" while Josh looks on not understanding it at all.
** The group look that Team Grimm gets on their collective faces when Josh Porter wonders if they're all crazy.
* In the season 3 finale "Blond Ambition" Rosalee's sister gets blind drunk and destroys their grandmother's wedding dress, saying she's "saving" Rosalee because she got married in it twice and both marriages bombed. The next morning she wakes up hung over and horrified, only to have Monroe let her off the hook by telling her that he and Rosalee hated the dress anyway.
** After [=DeEtta=] passes out on the floor Monroe and his mom share a synchronized facepalm.
** Earlier, at the wedding rehearsal, the minister asks why Nick is wearing sunglasses (to keep wesen who don't know him from seeing that he's a Grimm), and everyone starts talking over each other to make up excuses for why he needs them.
!!Season 4
* Near the end of "Octopus Head", the Gedächtnis Esser attempts to look into Trubel's memories, [[HoistByHisOwnPetard only to realize she's a Grimm]]. This gets him so freaked out that he willingly gives himself up to Hank.
* Monroe meeting Renard's [[spoiler:mother]]. Rosalee is just fine with it and gets right to business, But Monroe is so nervous the entire time.
* When Bud finds out [[spoiler:Nick isn't a Grimm anymore]] he freaks out. Monroe and Rosalee urge him to keep it a secret, leading to this gem:
-->'''Bud:''' I gotta go home and not tell anybody!
* Elizabeth [[spoiler:succeeds in duplicating Adalind's shapeshifting spell]] and plays with Monroe and Rosalee briefly, dressed in one of Monroe's shirts. By way of explanation:
-->'''Elizabeth:''' I'm sorry for borrowing your shirt but [[spoiler:as Adalind]] I felt [[TakeThatScrappy extra slutty]].
* Nick ''has'' to scare a young boy in order to get the MonsterOfTheWeek (a sort of guardian creature summoned by the boy's fear) to manifest so it can be destroyed. Nick reluctantly goes through with it, threatening to take the boy to jail. The creature appears, effortlessly wrecks Nick, and nearly kills Trubel before it's stopped. Then Nick drops a great line.
-->'''Nick:''' That's the last time I ever yell at a kid.
** Also hilarious is Trubel's frustrated reaction to learning that there are supernatural things out there ''beside'' just Wessen and her nonchalant dismissal of the [[ReligionIsMagic Golem's summoning]] as being theologically significant.
--->'''Juliette:''' I mean, that's kind of a big deal, don't you think. I feel like somebody ought to be proclaiming this from a mountaintop.\\
'''Trubel:''' [[CassandraTruth Well, I used to try proclaiming a lot of things]].
* Juliette [[spoiler:morphs into Adalind to restore Nick's Grimm abilities via sex.]] Nick and Juliette actually manage to have a little fun with it while everyone else is incredibly freaked out. ''Especially'' Monroe and Rosalee, who take Trubel back to their place and [[INeedAFreakingDrink start slamming beers.]]
** Even more funny is the conversation that takes place.
--->'''Monroe:''' ...Because I gotta stop thinking about Nick and Juliette and Adalind or ''[[GirlOnGirlIsHot Adalind with Juliette]]'' because the whole thing is like some bizarre, convoluted ménage à trois.\\
'''Rosalee:''' [[NotInFrontOfTheKid Monroe, we have a guest]]!\\
''beat''\\
'''Trubel:''' [[ComicallyMissingThePoint Oh, I know what convoluted means.]]\\
''[beat]''\\
''[Rosalee and Monroe gulp more beer.]''
** And then Monroe and Rosalee literally ''hide'' until Trubel has confirmed that the deed is done when they go to visit the two the next morning.
* Juliette calling [[spoiler:her-as-Adalind the one time Nick has her permission to have an affair.]]
* When Elizabeth warned that taking more of the potion than necessary will leave Juliette permanently shaped as Adalind, everyone is inmediately grossed out. Evidently, nobody likes [[TheScrappy Adalind]].
* In "Highway of Tears" Viktor offers Adalind a fantastic meal after she cleans up. She understandably shows reluctance, prompting him to take a bite of chicken.
-->'''Viktor:''' Don't worry. It's all organic.
** In the same episode, while Nick and Hank are trying to find out more about the Phansigar (a Komodo Dragon-like Wesen), they're stunned to learn that author Creator/RudyardKipling was a Grimm.
--->'''Nick:''' Apparently his sword was as mighty as his pen.
* Team Grimm come home from an exhausting day to find Josh, son of an older Grimm who died near the end of the previous season, hiding in a corner from the Verrat and shivering while holding a machete. When Nick cautiously asks if he even knows how to use a machete, Josh replies he has no idea.
** What's funnier is that, considering everything that's been going on in the past few episodes, he probably just found the machete lying around Nick's house and decided it was better than nothing.
* Monroe is uncomfortable leaving Rosalee in the store alone after [[spoiler:an effigy is lit up on their lawn by Wesen purists]]. Cue Juliette walking in, casually remarking that she just had to reload her gun, and followed shortly by Trubel. The three resident {{action girl}}s give Monroe, Nick, and Hank a look, and Rosalee tells them that they've got things covered. Also doubles as a moment of awesome.
* The entire premise of "The Grimm Who Stole Christmas": Preteen boys who have a condition turning them into tiny, Christmas-hating monsters, rampaging across the city and only being stopped when they consume ''an entire truck full of fruitcake''. The main crew are surprised that there's actually a reason for fruitcake to exist.
* In "Wesenrein" Wu is coming to grips with the revelation of the wesen world when Renard calls him in to his office and confirms that it's all real. Which leads to this exchange:
-->'''Wu:''' Are you...?\\
'''Renard:''' You don't want to go there.\\
'''Wu:''' No I do not. [''turns and leaves'']
* In "Tribunal", after Monroe is rescued, Nick and Griffin pretty much wordlessly tell Monroe and Rosalee they will be accompanying them on their honeymoon - after Monroe and Rosalee just joked about them coming, no less. There was no way they were going to let Rosalee and Monroe out of their sights after what happened in that episode and the one before that.
* Nick and Hank reveal that Adalind's magic caused Wu's pica in the first season. His response is a slightly bemused "Oh."
** Also Wu's enthusiasm over being involved in wesen cases is kinda funny.
* After Juliette uses [[spoiler:her new Hexenbiest powers to blow up a {{jerkass}}' car]], she has the most bemused reaction.
-->'''Renard:''' ''[Grabs Juliette's arm and hustles her away]'' [[CasualDangerDialog Time for lunch.]]\\
'''Juliette:''' Did I do that? I didn't do that... Did I?\\
'''Renard:''' ''[Utterly deadpan]'' I believe you did.
* As soon as Monroe and Rosalee return from their honeymoon, they decide to call Nick to tell him they're back "just in case anything pertinent came up." Which leads to...
-->'''Rosalee:''' Nick and Juliette coming over?\\
'''Monroe:''' ''[shocked expression]'' More like Nick and Hank.\\
'''Rosalee:''' ''[deadpan]'' [[LampshadeHanging Ah, that didn't take long.]]
* Juliette [[spoiler:tries practicing her [[MindOverMatter [=TK=]]] on a pepper mill in her kitchen. When it doesn't come, she turns her back on it. ''Then'' it takes off and beans her in the back of the head. Then Nick comes in and she has to explain how she managed to hit herself in the back of the head with a pepper mill.]]
-->'''Juliette:''' ''[mutters]'' Stupid pepper mill.
* There's something unintentionally hilarious about the gang going up against a hired [[WreathedInFlames arsonist]] armed with ''squirt guns''.
** Nick adding his squirt gun to the trailer's arsenal, which is pretty awesome as well.
** Nick, Griffin and Wu discussing how to explain their [[spoiler:exploded]] arsonist, which shows how awkward some of the explanations for certain Wesen cases can be.
* Adalind [[spoiler:is pregnant]] again. [[spoiler:Because she slept with Nick as Juliette.]] Her {{narm}}tastic [[BigNo reaction]] to being told this this makes it [[CrossesTheLineTwice cross the line twice]] from being Adalind's MoralEventHorizon to yet another example of EpicFail on Adalind's part. '''What did she expect would happen'''?
* In "Double Date" Monroe has to go undercover and pick up a woman suspected of murder to draw out her male partner, Linus. Of course, this means he has to go back to her place. The entire time he's wearing a very subtle OhCrap expression, which suddenly becomes not so subtle when Linus bursts in the room with a gun trained on him. And then Monroe is trying to signal Nick, Hank, and Wu (who are waiting outside) that he's in trouble. Of course, this means making wide, conspicuous gestures.
-->'''Linus:''' What are you looking for?\\
'''Monroe:''' ''Nothing!'' I'm just...I'm scared, you know, you're gonna...shoot me! ''[starts waving]''\\
'''Linus:''' What are you do...? Get away from the window!\\
'''Monroe:''' [[BlatantLies No, I got a cramp!]]
** Fans have known it for a long time, but "Double Date" finally put words to Adalind's grand solution to every problem:
---> '''Adalind:''' [[ReallyGetsAround I have to sleep with someone else.]] Fast!
** Just Linus with a red dress and high heels after his "Stacy" persona is neutralized.
** After Monroe calls "Stacy" pretty in front of Rosalee, she too-casually asks, "So, how pretty ''was'' she?". Cue Monroe's OhCrap face.
* Prince Kenneth reveals in "Heartbreaker" that Viktor is sterile after Adalind tried to claim that [[spoiler:her baby with Nick was Viktor's]]. In other words, while the scene establishes how savvy Kenneth is, it means her initial plan was never going to work.
* In "Hibernaculum," after witnessing [[spoiler:Juliette's transformation,]] Rosalee can only manage a shocked "SHE'S A FREAKIN' ''HEXENBIEST''?!"
* In "Iron Hans" ''everyone's'' reaction to [[spoiler:Adalind being pregnant]] is basically "Again?"
* Monroe, and soon Adalind, getting queasy at having to [[spoiler:disfigure the corpse of Catherine Schade]] in "You Don't Know Jack."
-->'''Monroe:''' But I'm a vegan!
* Adalind asking Nick if he likes pie when asked by Bud if her significant other was staying over as well, and if he liked pie.
* Adalind's explanation to her mom's coffin of what's been going on since she died. It ends up being a bit of a TearJerker, but it starts out pretty funny.
* Nick gets Adalind to stay over at Bud's house, and the poor Eisbieber turns into more of a NervousWreck than usual, to the point of keeping watch with a bat on his person.
* Monroe and Rosalee in "Havoc" decide that they need to drink wine and relax. The latter decides to toast... to something.
** Wu asks permission [[ShotgunsAreJustBetter if he's allowed to bring his shotgun with him]] during the raid on the estate.
!!Season 5
* In Maiden Quest, Nick and Adalind are trying to calm down a crying Kelly; they call Monroe and Rosalee, who are having a nice relaxing evening. And then Kelly stops crying as he looks at the phone. Yes, the act of calling Monroe and Rosalee solves the problem.
* In Wesen Nacht, Trubel and Adalind talk. In her true blunt self, Trubel asks Adalind if she's in love with Nick. Cue Adalind being reduced to a stuttering mess as she tries to explain the complicated relationship.
* In Star-Crossed (the main plot of which deals with a wesen bringing back an ancient ritual which involves the sacrificial killing of a number of humans), Renard has this absolute gem of a deadpan comment to make on the subject:
-->'''Renard:''' You know, my great-great-great-grandfather, on my mother's side, was a big believer in rituals and sacrifices... I think that's what got him burned at the stake.
** Monroe goes undercover at a Black Claw meeting that's stirring up hatred against humans. It's amazing that no-one notices his hilariously terrible attempts at matching their anti-human cheers.
--->'''Monroe ''(awkwardly)'':''' Y-Yeah! ''Hate'' those guys!
* In The Believer, Eve disguises herself as Renard to get information out of Rachel (his campaign manager/girlfriend). Unfortunately for Eve, the first order of business is sex, leading to an awkward encounter, to say the least.
-->"[[TheLoinsSleepTonight This has never happened to me before.]]"
!!Season 6
* In "Trust Me Knot" :
** Monroe and Rosalee are babysitting Kelly and [[EnfantTerrible Diana]]...
*** Cue Rosalee finding ways to repeatedly leave Monroe alone with [[GooGooGodlike Diana]]; Monroe's face is precious...
** This exchange between a DeadpanSnarker perp, [[spoiler:Renard]] and his lawyer, [[spoiler:Adalind]] :
--->'''Lawyer:''' So you expect me to be your alibi for a murder you didn't commit because you were actually murdering the person who was your alibi?\\
'''Perp:''' ''[still deadpan]'' [[ItMakesSenseInContext Basically yeah]].
* "Oh Captain, My Captain."
** Nick has to take a potion to look like Renard. HilarityEnsues
--->'''Monroe''': You have to be more...Renardy...\\
'''Rosalee''': You have to be more full of yourself.\\
'''Juliette''': A lot more.\\
'''Monroe''': Like you were just elected Mayor of Portland.\\
'''Rosalee''': And you think you deserve it.\\
'''Juliette''': And you want Nick Burkhardt dead. ''(Nick's face, which he's been trying to make smug, falls)''\\
'''Monroe''': That's it.\\
'''Juliette''': Perfect.\\
'''Rosalee''': There you go.
** Hank enters and Nick "imitates" Renard asking for his resignation with Hank automatically screaming back he did and the other three smirk. When Hank realize that "Renard" is actually Nick, he's so freaked out that he refuse to let Nick touch him.
* Adalind tries to distract the real Renard by pressing about their daughter in the future.
-->'''Adalind''': What if a kid at school bullies her? Or the teacher puts her in a time out? Which can be a lasting time out?
* Nick pulls off a true MagnificentBastard moment by posing as Renard at a press conference to announce that not only is he abdicating as mayor but announcing that Nick's arrest was part of a massive undercover assignment. Naturally, Renard has a meltdown watching it at home. Adalind's attempt to play dumb about this is priceless.
-->'''Adalind''': When did you record this?
* Renard!Nick and the real Renard duking it out in a fistfight before they came to an understanding.
** As part of their understanding, Nick demands that Adalind comes back to live with him. Renard pauses to consider for a moment before eventually deciding "Ah, take her".
* In "The Seven Year Itch," the team is after an immortal Wesen (who was one of the founders of Portland) who emerges every seven years to feast upon a heavy-set woman underground. They're racing as he targets his latest victim and he reverts to his monstrous form to basically wipe the floor with Nick, Hank and Wu...at which point, his "victim" suddenly turns into a hippo-head Wesen who easily bites the guy's head off. The three guys just stare in disbelief as she's totally nonchalant about Nick being a Grimm.
-->'''Woman''': What's a girl gotta do to find the right guy in this town?
* Less Crowning moment of funny and more Crowning moment of groanworthy In "Breakfast in Bed". There is a Wesen that preys on people while they're sleeping and eats their sleep. [[spoiler:The entire episode seems to allude to the fact that an old guy in a wheelchair is the Monster of the Week. He isn't the Monster of the Week. Then as the episode closes out the old man rips off his breathing mask and reveals that he is a RED HERRING wesen.]]
* "Blind Love" has a Wesen cast a spell on Nick's group that makes them fall for each other while they are staying at an upscale hotel for Monroe's birthday. Nick falls for Rosalee, Monroe falls for Eve, Eve falls for Nick, Adalind falls for Monroe, while Wu falls for one of the hotel staff, culminating in a few overdramatic scenes straight out of a soap opera.
** Hank, meanwhile, falls in love with ''his reflection'' and sings "Let's Get It On" by Marvin Gaye to himself in the bathroom mirror. It truly has to be seen to be believed.
** There's also the lieutenant who kidnaps Diana in order for Renard to give him the promotion he promised him. The lieutenant quickly realizes [[PityTheKidnapper what a bad idea it was]] when Diana starts tossing him around like a ragdoll (in her words, "playing" with him).
** When Renard realizes Diana is missing, he's scared and concerned as any parent would be. Then after a few seconds he puts the pieces together, figures he knows who kidnapped her, and more importantly remembers who his daughter is-he stops looking, has a soft smile on his face and eats a cookie. When the would be kidnapped calls Renard, begging him to come save him from Diana, Renard taunts him by acting nonchalant. Knowing your daughter is one of the most powerful individuals alive has to take some of the stress out of parenting.
** A priceless exchange between Diana and her captor.
--->'''Captor''': I'm the man your daddy stabbed in the back.\\
'''Diana''': No. That was Mister Bonaparte.
** At the end, when Renard arrives to reclaim Diana, she asks to "play" with her would-be captor again, while said captor is begging Renard to just kill him. Renard does seem to be seriously considering arranging another "play date" for Diana.....

* [[https://twitter.com/#!/sasharoiz Sasha Roiz]] and [[https://twitter.com/#!/mistergiuntoli David Giuntoli]] (Renard and Nick's actors respectively)'s twitters. David refers to himself as a "newborn elf" and tweets like a kid on a sugar rush, while Sasha is quite amicable and witty, and has set his twitter wallpaper... to ''unicorns and rainbows''.
** Roiz once responded to a tweet lamenting that due to him being behind a desk, he probably wouldn't be able to be [[http://www.imdb.com/media/rm870092544/ch0152736 shirtless]]. He replied, "But it ups the chance of being [[PantsFree pantless]]"! Cue fangirl squee and swoon.
** Becomes even funnier when, in "Three Coins in a Fuchsbau", Renard DOES have a shirtless scene!
** Speaking of fangirl squee, one of David's tweets answered two popular questions: no, his costar Silas didn't have twitter, and yes, he would marry us.
** Roiz has tweeted (in response to David's shirtless scenes) "I won't stoop to his level. Conversely [sic], I won't be held accountable if "Captain No Pants" makes an appearance."
** During recent episodes, where Renard is in Vienna: "The Captain knows how to pack a duffel bag!" and "Bubbles make everything better. #perrier"
* [[http://grimmlingcomics.tumblr.com/tagged/grimm These!]] They're so cute!
** Unfortunately there haven't been any new ones since May 2013, as the artists have moved on to drawing ''Series/TeenWolf'' characters.
* In a cast interview about their favourite episodes, Creator/ElizabethTulloch (sitting beside Creator/DavidGiuntoli, who plays Nick) gleefully chirped that "Game Ogre" and "The Thing With Feathers" were her favourite episodes, then realized (as Giuntoli gave her an {{aside glance}}) that that meant that she liked the one where she rejected Nick, and the one with Nick getting sent to the hospital after being beaten to within an inch of his life. Whoops!
* This blurb from the website of Christian Lagadec (Sebastian): "If asked 'Have you always wanted to be an actor?' he can only tell you that maybe he has, although as a child he knew he also wanted to be a waiter, a bartender, a park ranger, a secret agent, a sociopath, a sculptor, an athlete, a cartoonist, a writer, a knight, a pianist, a singer, a dancer, a victim, a magician, a physicist, a thief, a teacher, a therapist, and a translator. Everything considered, he chose acting as a professional shortcut."
** His reply on [[https://twitter.com/clagadec Twitter]] to someone who apologized for possibly offending him: "You can't offend a Frenchman!"
** Also, when fans expressed surprise over seeing him cozying up with the actress who plays Frau Pech and the actor who plays Bud: "She smelled like bonbons. Bud and I couldn't resist."
** He tweeted [[http://www.edisproduction.de/2013/11/19/fox-hunting-under-snow-in-an-incredible-way/ this video]] to Creator/SashaRoiz, with the comment "Very graceful, Renard."
** Really, you could probably just close your eyes and point at a random tweet of his and it would be incredibly funny.
*** For example, this image of him catching the "[[http://i888.photobucket.com/albums/ac88/Hyndara71/Grimm%20David%20Giuntoli/BWgl0bcCEAAlrt0_zpscb3ead4c.jpg tart thief]]" in the act!

* The twitter bio for guest star Richard Brake (the Leporem Venator from "Bad Luck") reads as follows: "actor, writer, guitar-picking Welsh redneck. [[ChronicallyKilledActor And, yes, I die in everything...]]" [[spoiler:And he does indeed die in his appearance on the show!]]
