Cue both [[HotForTeacher Kitagawa]] and [[HopelessSuitor Kudo]] plotting to fail their exams, Kitagawa to spend the summer with Mika-sensei, and Kudo with [[DumbJock Suetake]]. Kitagawa gets her wish, as failing her exam means Mika has to spend summer break teaching her supplemental lessons. Kudo...not so much, as Suetake actually managed to pass his exams.
* At a summer festival, the students and Mika are playing a game where shooting an object with a cork gun will win them the item that they want. Cue Kitagawa shooting Mika-sensei, saying she was aiming for what she wanted.
