* So many of the things that come out of [[CloudCuckooLander Menma's]] mouth tend to be the series' comedic highlights.
** "If Yukiatsu saw another me, would that make me Menmario and her Menluigi? Do you think she'd have second player colors?"
* In Episode 4, when Yukiatsu leads the others on a wild goose chase by claiming he saw Menma, Menma herself goes along with it, calling out Menma and complaining that she didn't get to see Menma once.
* The start of episode 6 will catch you off-guard.
** The end of the episode is no slouch either, with Anaru's brilliant response to [[NotWhatItLooksLike Jintan's bloody nose]].
*** Especially with how abruptly it ends. Jintan falls over unconscious - [[MoodWhiplash cue "Secret Base" playing on the end credits.]]
** Tsuruko catches some flak from some rivals for Yukiatsu's affections, Yukiatsu smugly says that it's his fault that other girls are jealous of her. In response, Tsuruko snarkily suggests that she show them a photo of Yukiatsu in a dress.
* Episode 7: Poppo walks in on Anaru and Jintan...
