* The BigBad of the ninth book, Raven Rise, is named Alexander Naymeer. Why does his last name sounds so weird? It's "name here"! He was raised in an orphanage! - KilroyWasHere

* In the tenth book, Press reveals that in all of Halla, there are seven worlds on which intelligent life has evolved. This becomes very grim when you remember that Halla is everything that is, has been, or will be, meaning that there are only ''seven'' worlds with intelligent life in ''all of eternity''. [[NightmareFuel What happens when they're gone?]] ''This'' is why a [[{{SciFiWritersHaveNoSenseOfScale}} sense of scale]] is so important, kiddies.
* Also in ''The Soldiers of Halla'', the ending. [[spoiler: Press says everyone must stay on their current worlds, and the Travelers must AscendToAHigherPlaneOfExistence. Bobby expresses regret that he wasn't able to live a normal life, and Press thinks about it... When suddenly, the ResetButton is pressed, despite directly contradicting the last dozen pages. Bobby has apparently lived a very wholesome and enjoyable life back on Earth where he was never a Traveler and married Courtney.]] Sounds an awful lot like a Lifelight simulation, doesn't it...
** Mark's fate is even worse given this possibility, as his sudden disappearance from Bobby and Courtney's lives and eventual abrupt death of cancer suggests Bobby wanted to get rid of him...
* Throughout the entire series, the phrase "this is the way it was meant to be" is used repetitively as a motto for the Travelers. Saint Dane has mocked that phrase. But after reading the finale, one does have to wonder if he was right to mock it. considering all the contradictory twists in the final book, it begins to seem as if the writer wanted the characters to not ask too many questions and just go along with things for the plot's sake. One could easily rephrase it as "Just shut up and go along with it."
** Also ironic, since Saint Dane is the one who can shapeshift, but Press Tilton is the one who has been hiding all the secrets from Bobby, which has left him to make numerous mistakes that could have been avoided in a war.
