* Want Martha to speak Spanish? Just feed her Mexican food! Presumably this also works for other languages, so give her Chinese food for Mandarin, Italian food for Italian, and maybe some of Gordon Ramsay's cooking if you want her to sound British.
** That would probably result in something most unsuitable for children's television.
** That isn't how it works. Martha can't speak American English because she eats American food. She can speak English because she eats English alphabet soup and she most likely speaks with American dialect and accent because that she eats it from American cans. If you want her to speak another language/dialect, you'd actually have to feed her... say... Spanish alphabet soup.
* In "Virtually Martha", Martha dreams that she gets sucked into a computer. While "in the computer", she supposedly orders something online. In the end, the thing arrives, and you think it's an OrWasItADream ending....until you realise that someone else could have ordered the steak and it got sent to the wrong address. After all, they didn't mention the names "Martha" or "Lorraine".
* First you wonder how the letters could go into Martha's brain, but then maybe the physical letters themselves are not going into her brain so much as the data they carry, i.e. halfway down to Martha's stomach, her brain recognises the letters subconsciously or whatever. I dunno.
* You wonder how exercise can decrease fitness in "Fit vs Fat", but then you realise that logic takes a break because it's AllJustADream and the dreamer is a dog.
* Skits left his stick at the farm and doesn't know how it could be under T.D.'s bed....but how are we to know it's that stick? It could be a whole nother stick.
* Bob was bad but made a HeelFaceTurn when he gets called a good dog, however, he's treated as bad and acts bad later....because they went back to calling him a bad dog!
* In "Martha's Duck Trouble", a show plays (Mushy Duck) that Ralph watches that everyone else hates. They all leave (except Martha who doesn't like the show either but is more tolerant), making excuses in a stereotypical "awkward lying/excuse-making voice". However, if you look at their excuses, you'll notice that most of them seemed reasonable (Daniel wanted to change Jake's diaper, Helen wanted to do her homework and T.D. wanted to clean the garbage cans) except Mariella's excuse (she said she wanted to "move something from somewhere to somewhere else"). This makes sense because Mariella is the one who hates the show the most. The others thought "Well, I hate this show but it's not the end of the world if I am forced to watch it. However, I still hate it so I'll look for something I actually do have to do anyway and use that as an excuse as opposed to just making something up". (This explains why they were saying "Umm" and talking fast when they came to a conclusion: they were trying to think of something they actually did have to do). Mariella, on the other hand, was thinking "I hate this show with a passion! I'd do anything to avoid having to watch it" so she just said the first thing that came into her head.
* In "Martha's Thanksgiving", Martha states that she believes her brother Mr Felix became a NeatFreak because he spends too much time around cats. This isn't just Martha being speciesist--cats clean themselves all the time, so Martha might just think he's spending too much time around neat freaks, who happen to be so because they're cats.
* In "Martha in Charge", Martha thinks that "recuperate" belongs in a sentence like "don't come in-- I just recuperated all over the rug."Perhaps she's confusing it with regurgitate.
* In "Ronald is In", when Skits puts a rock in his mouth, Helen fears he may eat it and swipes the rock away. In a previous episode, "The Trouble with Teddy", another dog named Teddy eats a rock and he ends up needing surgery. Helen was probably afraid that the same would happen to Skits if he also ate a rock.
* Mariella's skirt has flowers on it. She works in a flower shop. Her choice in fashion might be in relation to her being a NatureLover.
* In "Martha's Blue Period", the Lorraines are away, but only Martha seems lonely, not Skits. Judging by Martha being yellow and medium-sized, she could be part Golden Retriever. She's stated several times to be a mutt, so her being fully Golden Retriever is out. Golden Retrievers are known for being clingier than other dogs, so maybe Martha's Golden Retriever side is showing when she gets lonely but not Skits.
* In "Martha's Blue Period", Martha takes the term "blue" as in "sad" literally and checks if she's literally blue to find she's still yellow. However, other episodes have had jokes about how AnimalsSeeInMonochrome. This could be AccidentallyCorrectWriting -- blue and yellow are two colours that dogs can see (albeit this would be inconsistent with "Verb Dog: When Action Calls", which shows Martha not being able to recognise yellow, but it works for that particular episode). In "Alice Covers Up", T.D. wants to invent "dog vision" glasses so no one could see Alice's orange skin -- orange is one colour dogs can't see. They also can't see red or green, which would fit with Martha not knowing the traffic light colours in "Martha the Witness".

* One episode had a villain who could summon any noun he said. In response, Martha and friends make a device that let's the user affect whatever the Announcer summoned so he didn't harm people by saying an adjective. Imagine if the Announcer said "napalm", or "lava", or "gas", or "peanut butter". Or what if someone less morally sound than Martha got hold of the adjective device? One could create an instant nuclear disaster simply by saying "radioactive". Martha shrinking and de-powering the Announcer at the end of the episode by calling him a "tiny, powerless, villain" shows that the adjective device works on people too. The list of possible things one could do to people with the adjective device takes up a sizable chunk of the English lexicon. Then again, MST3KMantra this show is for children (and those devices were only in a story Martha made up).
* In the "Perfect Pup" episode, the scientist develops a mind control device and uses it to ... open a dog obedience school? Of course, MST3KMantra it is a kids' show.
** It does avert CutLexLuthorACheck.
* In "Martha Says it with Flowers", Martha expresses shock that someone could dislike bacon. This could make her an InnocentBigot if she spoke to someone who was Jewish or Muslim.
