* The GBA versions of the first game have the ''VideoGame/StreetFighterAlpha'' versions of Cody and Guy as secret characters. They are commonly known to break the game based on how better they are compared to the original heroes. This makes perfect sense for two reasons: ''Alpha'' Cody and Guy hail from the future, making them more experienced, and they are taken from a franchise which has helped expand their movesets beyond their original forms.

* In the first ''VideoGame/FinalFight'' game, the Mad Gear gang kidnapped the mayor's daughter, and in all three installments, if they defeat the heroes, they don't kill them immediately, instead tying them to some sort of DeathTrap or another. Horrific already, but in a somewhat cheesy way... until you realize that in the first game, if you lose, they're ''still holding the Mayor's daughter'' and have no further use for her as a bargaining chip, and the later games have female protagonists too. And then you realize that just because they've tied your character to a DeathTrap, it doesn't mean they did it ''immediately'', and that has ''very'' unpleasant implications for both the heroes. Torture is a very real possibility as is sexual assault given the implied leanings of some characters.
** A DeathTrap may also be a bizarre choice except for the fact there's a lot of construction going on in Metro City so they might be doing a MakeItLookLikeAnAccident. Mad Gear isn't Shadow Law, after all, and are just TheMafia with a lot of street gang thugs in their pocket. Killing the Mayor is a last resort for them, after all.
