* After the Blaze, people had to survive by clinging to their Baroques... those who could became distorted but remained sorta-human, while those who couldn't became Meta-Beings. Why then is the Protagonist able to rack up many Baroques without any distortion? And to a lesser extent, exist without any seeming Baroque at all when he starts out? [[spoiler:Because he was part of the Dabar Fusion with the Absolute God - regardless of it's interruption, he already has his own Baroque; divinity, in essence. It's abilities allow him to grow stronger by absorbing other earned Baroques, purify other residents, and return from death yet subconsciously learn from everything he goes through, and so forth without distorting. He is essentially a twisted version of a demigod]].
* VideoGame/Baroque had a reverse effect here. While the plot is open to interpretation, along the fourth or so overall playthrough, The Bagged One has a line that reveals the plot is basically another Christianity/religion is evil story, and not something deep and original like it may seem at first.
** And what line would that be? This game is very open to interpretation... it may seem that way only to some, not everyone.
*** I don't see how that interpretation would even work, considering that God is the only character who is probably truly on your side.
*** Adding onto this, for the moral to be 'Religion/God is evil', they'd have to be the cause of the trouble. But the true cause of The Blaze and all it's effects was [[spoiler:the Archangel, a human]].
*** Arguably, the moral ends up being "God is fine, *religion* is evil". Still something of a cliche.
*** Except the religion itself was fine; things were more-or-less normal until one day, starting pouring false data into the Consciousness Orbs, causing the distortions to begin. Then once it started getting bad, those not in his rogue group - unaware of the source - suggested the Dabar Fusion, and interfering with it caused The Blaze. One main bad guy/a rogue group doesn't exactly suggest a 'religion is evil' cliche.
