The [[ShiningGoodness Shining]] Series is a series set in your StandardFantasySetting developed and published by Creator/{{Sega}}. The games are all set in the same universe but sequels are rarely a continuation of the preceding games; with only minor characters, locations or references linking the series together. The series is infamous for [[UnexpectedGameplayChange switching genres]] leading fans to never know quite what they're getting themselves in for.

Not to be confused with the film called ''Film/TheShining'', nor with the black metal band Music/{{Shining}}.
