There are many works that share the title of Hellboy, all in the same franchise.

Hellboy is one of the more successful franchises to come from Creator/DarkHorseComics, and has earned Mike Mignola a great deal of recognition in the comics world. Surprisingly, despite the explosion of additional material, nearly every piece of the comic continuity manages to link back to a larger narrative.

Has nothing at all to do with ''Anime/HellGirl''.

!!Works in the ''Hellboy'' franchise:
* ''ComicBook/{{Hellboy}},'' the original comic. (Actually, over a score of comics miniseries and one-shots telling an ongoing story.)
** The spinoff series ''ComicBook/{{BPRD}}.''
** Many other spinoff comics, featuring Abe Sapien, Lobster Johnson, Sir Edward Grey, Sledgehammer 44, BPRD: Vampire, and others.
* ''Film/{{Hellboy}}'' and ''Hellboy II: The Golden Army'', two live-action films directed by Guillermo del Toro.
* ''WesternAnimation/HellboyAnimated'': Two straight-to-video animated movies (the planned third one was canceled) which are closer in spirit to the comics but feature the movie actors reprising their roles. There are also several mini-comics set in the Animated continuity.
* A large assortment of novels and anthologies.
* A TabletopRPG, the ''Hellboy Sourcebook and Roleplaying Game.''
* Two video games.
** A [[GuestFighter guest appearance]] in the Creator/DCComics fighting game Injustice2.
* At least two humor spinoffs, ''Li'l Hellboy'' and ''Hellboy, Jr.''
* A few art books.
