The third Film/HammerHorror film with a {{Mummy}}, released in 1967 and directed by John Gilling (who also co-wrote the sceenplay with Anthony Hinds).

Egypt, 1920: The corpse of Kah-To-Bey, son of an ancient Pharaoh who fled to the desert after a coup that took the life of his father, is removed from its makeshift tomb and brought to Cairo by a team of British archaeologists. This leads the tomb's guardian to reanimate the mummified remains of Kah-To-Bey's servant Prem, which then starts violently killing everyone involved in the tomb's desecration.

----
!!This film has the examples of:
* CatScare: Subverted. Immediately after being startled by a cat, Preston is attacked from behind by Prem, who kills him by bashing his head against a stone wall.
* ComicBookAdaptation: The film was adapted in comic strip form on ''House of Hammer'' magazine.
* CoversAlwaysLie: See the poster on the page image? That scene (and the outfit the actress, Maggie Kimberley, is wearing in it) doesn't appear in the film at all.
* CrystalBall: Tomb guardian Hasmid's mother Haiti is a clairvoyant who has one in her possession. It is used to spy on the would-be victims of the mummy Prem.
* DeathByChildbirth: Kah-To-Bey's mother died soon after his birth in the past.
* DestinationDefenestration: Prem kills Longbarrow by wrapping him in his mosquito net and throwing him through his bedroom window to his doom.
* DoubleTake: The servant who is about to taste the wine from his secret stash takes a glance at the corpse next to him, takes another look with eyes widened in horror, and runs away screaming.
* DroppedGlasses: Happens to Longbarrow when he reaches to turn off his alarm clock. He immediately crushes them while looking for them on his hands and knees.
* EyeAwaken: Used when Prem is awakened, with the rot covering his eyes falling off.
* FailedASpotCheck: The servant who is about to taste the wine in his closet stash conveniently looks the other way when he opens its doors which have a corpse pinned to them.
* GloryHound: Stanley Preston quickly hogs all the glory of finding Kah-To-Bey to himself, and doesn't mind it all that Sir Basil is committed to the madhouse.
%%* {{Mummy}}: Prem
* VillainBall: As Claire starts residing the words that would destroy Prem, Hashmid laughs mockingly at her and proclaims that only the person holding Kah-To-Bey's shroud can do it properly, while shaking it in his fists. Inspector Barrani then shoots him so that Claire can take the thing.
