* ''Warnings:'' Pitch here plays the part of [[AbusiveParents an abusive parent]] scary well, played completely straight. It's very well-written, but possibly trigger-y, particularly in Chapter 9, so be warned.

''[[http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8751000/1/Guardian-of-Light Guardian of Light]]'' by [[http://www.fanfiction.net/u/2796594/Mia-Vaan Mia Vaan]]
* Recommended by Twoie92
* Synopsis: The moon is my earliest memory. But that's all I can remember. And when I try to remember more, a wall comes up. Like my mind doesn't want me to remember what happened before the moon. My name is Helen. Helen Bennett. Where do I come from? I don't know. I was found on a doorstep when I was still only a baby. No one knows where I came from. And I don't think anyone ever will.
* While there is slight romance in this, it is not the main focus of the story; instead the story focuses on the struggles of the character and her journey. And it is very well done. The OC is believable and likable (probably the most believable and likable OC in the entire category), she doesn't steal the spotlight, the situation she's in is believable, and the author writes the story very well with plenty of Foreshadowing which leaves you wanting more.
** Agreed, the author did a brilliant job in pulling in plots and characters from the books to flesh out the story and carries quite a bit of the fun from the movie, especially the "looking for Pitch" and "delivering presents" scenes being like the "tooth collecting" scene.

* Synopsis: One of Tooth's most observant fairies is asked to do something for the Man in the Moon. He said that everything had gone wrong. He said that she would have to be very brave...

* Recommended by Eastonia, Love Psycho
* Synopsis: When death turns out not to be the end, you can't help but ask for what purpose you were brought back. Reborn from ice, Jack can only wonder why... and wait for the day the Moon tells him what he plans. For not even Sandy can get any answers. (Jack's 300 years up to and including the film, but with him remembering who he was right from the start)
* Remembering who he was from the very beginning changes quite a few things. Oh, and Sandy is pretty suspicious - in the good way. And Jack can't help but get on the naughty list.
* Love Psycho: Best part of this is the character interactions. Particularly the Bennet family and with other spirits too. This Jack is honestly more cheerful than his canon counterpart, though of course there are sad bits. But it's a strong story line that the author sells to you and the effect Jack gets by [[spoiler: being believed in, even if it's only one village]] is evident.

The Man in the Moon, Archmage of the Nine Sanctums has called upon Sand Mage and Dreamwalker Sanderson to bring down the threat before it can take hold, with the help and council of the Fae Queen, Toothiana. Jack Frost is a failed Winter Mage who just can't seem to get a good night's sleep. Or stay out of the way of the grumpy Pooka warrior he keeps bumping into.
* Pairing: Bunny/Jack
* Warning: Interspecies Lemon, some gore and scary bits, and shameless epic fantasy
* Comments: A very interesting story, that pretty much hooks you in from the beginning. Aside from Jack not getting a break, no matter what verse, it is very edgy and evokes LOTR and other like epic fantasy stories in the form it is in. Not to mention the creativity in magic, The Dreaming and even the world it is based in. Definitely worth even a try.

* Synopsis: Part of the kink meme. In the world of Spirits, the Guardians are the most well known, the top of the food chain, the 'Big Four' as Jack called them. The thing is, none of the other spirits like them. When they became Guardians, they became self important and arrogant, like how North blew off Easter as a lesser holiday just because Christmas is bigger and Bunny insulted Jack to his face that nobody believes in him.
* Comments: This was actually a really good one-shot, even though it casts the Guardians and [=MiM=] in a bad light. Jack's TheReasonYouSuckSpeech to Bunny, Tooth, and North will have you cheering the whole time, including his rather blunt statement to all of them that nobody likes them after revealing to North that all the spirits have made a game out of breaking into his workshop.

* Crossover with Danny Phantom.
* Synopsis: Or why Bunny should avoid Amity Park. After all, white-haired boys with ice powers that can fly aren't exactly easy to come by, so this new kid had to be at least related to Jack...right?
* This was priceless. There's nothing like a good old fashion misunderstanding to make hilarity ensue.
** Agreed. It's ridiculous but perfect.

* Crossover with ''Anime/PuellaMagiMadokaMagica''
* Synopsis: Jack Frost wishes to be believed in by Kyubey. Things go downhill.
* Comments: It was far too good to pass up! There are OC's but their presences don't overwhelm the main story line. This troper could feel Jack TookALevelInBadass. Three chapters in and one of the OC's is dead. Since the material joined in together is the type where AnyoneCanDie. It'd be interesting to see of Jack will go for DespairEventHorizon and have plenty of HeroicBSOD. Definitely worth a check. There's no master page so it's best to check out the posts titled with Kyubey and Theatre/TitusAndronicus Characters.
** Alright, it's done and...[[spoiler: it's fucking depressing.]]

* Crossover with: ''Journey into Mystery'', a Marvel comic about a de-aged version of the super-villain Loki
* Excerpt: Loki recalls stories of frost giants, hideous monsters that bring the ice, as he takes in this creature of simple pleasure. He recalls that the people of Asgardia say he is just such a horror of winter – but here and now, watching this boy play upon the walls as though nothing else exists in the world, he does not see how it can possibly be a bad thing.

From then on he vows to protect the little boy with the help of his fellow Guardians, a former enemy and two local girls, while they uncover a conspiracy which runs deeper than any of them thought it would.
* Comments: You wouldn't think a story like this would work. But the author ''makes'' it work, and makes it work ''well''.

* Synopsis: Strange things begin happening when a friend of the neighborhood children shows up. What may be even stranger than the odd occurrences is that his interest in the Hughes family may lead to some turns of events.
* Comments: The synopsis does not do this fic justice. The blending of the two worlds is done extremely well, and everyone is kept in character. While not perfect, this is definitely an enjoyable read.

* Synopsis: Jack Frost is a lonely spirit trying to find his purpose in the world. Hiccup is one of the few remaining children in his village as dragons have begun to take them for no apparent reason. Little do these two know that their lives are about to change because of Pitch Black and his newfound alliance with the world's deadliest dragon: the Green Death.
* Comments: This is a very good story, not as action packed as others are, but it's full of great characterization and plot development.

* Recommended by Kid3t3rnity
* Crossover with: ''Disney/{{Frozen}}''
* ''Status'': Complete
* Synopsis: What if Jack hasn't been completely alone in the 300 or so years since the Moon granted him his powers? 11 years after Jack receives his Guardianship, he finds himself telling Jamie about the true tale of the Snow Queen, and of their love story that has been lost to time and much more fantastical legends.
* Comments: Possibly one of the best; if not THE best Frozen/ROTG Crossover fics ever written. You will literally be overcome with emotion as you go through the chapters as Jack retells of a life that he had long blocked out from memory. To describe it would include major spoilers. I highly recommend this from the bottom of my heart considering that there are rarely any fics out there that masterfully craft the romance between these two. Not only that, but the author has actually gone out of her way to extensively research the historical elements behind the timeline of the setting to make it as accurate and realistic as possible. Even better, there are already 3 other spin-offs of Frostbitten in Arialene's page, as well as a Modern AU fic.
