Dead Man's Curve

* An eight-part serialised 50,000 word LightNovel/KinosJourney continuation, although parts of it take place during and between the episodes of the original series/novels. It's well worth a look, even though it'll probably leave you feeling as conflicted as the original itself did. Put another way, it has a strong sense of the original story's feel about it. That particular serialisation is complete as of February 2010. Will there be more from this author...?

Stories focused on the family and the friendly relationships of the cast. Plot-focused stories or light day-in-the-life stories. Pretty much anything that isn't focused on romance.

Kino no Owari by [=CaideSin=]
* Recommended by: Person With Many Aliases
* Status: Complete
* Synopsis: A traveler stays at the end of the world for three days and two nights.
* Comments: To clarify, a cross over with Kingdom Hearts (2). The story is written in the tone and perspective of Kino's Journey, giving a strange and haunting perspective of life at The World That Never Was, treating it like a "Beautiful and Ugly" land like many other Kino travels through. Even without background from the other half of this Crossover, just reading it is a strange treat.

the nature of uncarved blocks by torches
* Recommended by Orbiting
* Status: Complete
* Synopsis: A character study of Kino, and a reflection on her early days as a traveler.
* Comments: A thought-provoking and in-character piece, and one that addresses the transgender/nonbinary overtones that Kino has in the show itself.
