* He writes some of the best, not just Disney but stories Period, His best are "Rapunzel Goes Home" and "Roused". He resolves problems the characters have at the ends of their stories that most people brush off. It lets me look into the facts he brings up and discover them for myself. And I can not forget "Merida Comes". It really brings in how characters, even if they're not real, can influence us immensely. An author who can do that deserves much more, but this is the best I can do.

Lost Tales of Fantasia by StrangePointOfView. Trope page here.
* Recommended by Tropers/CaptainColdCutCliche
* Status: Dead (not updated since May 2012)
* Synopsis: All of your favorite Disney heroes after 1939. A darkfic about the unanswered questions of the Disneyverse.
* Tags: DarkFic, Adventure/Horror.
* Has a LighterAndSofter companion story, It's a Small World University, here (Dead).
* Comments: Truly epic. A dark, gritty story about Disney characters in World War II that still manages to keep almost everyone in-character, without going into DarknessInducedAudienceApathy. The amount of Disney properties and materials referenced is mind-boggling, as the author's intention was to include every Disney story ever. Very well-written. There's also a deep feel of background mythos with the recurrent theme of the characters' world changing.

The Great Disney Adventure Saga by talking2myself
* Recommended by Tropers/CMRRosa and Tropers/EricW
* Status: Books 1&2 complete. Book 3 in progress.
* Synopsis: When Kelsey and her six year old cousin Emma gets sucked into the tv, it was only the beginning of their great Disney adventure. Even after they got out, a year later they went back in, and the stakes would only get bigger.
* Comments: This is a awesome crossover, everyone was in character and the original characters are well written. It's also not afraid to get meta or self referencing in the story, as while Kelsey and her family might know some of the stories, Jack Sparrow at least knows they're in a disney world, and can reference that quite often. While it can drag in places where the MythArc is sidetracked by the smaller StoryArc around it, but overall it's an engaging read.
* This is actually a series of 3 fics.

* Synopsis: Aurora was living in a lie, kept in a small forest, loving people who were not her parents. Sounds a lot like Rapunzel's story, yes? * Synopsis: High school AU webcomic. Mother Gothel and Claude Frollo got married; Rapunzel and Quasimodo grew up as homeschooled siblings. Crowns of the Kingdom by Tropers/Karalora
* Recommended by: Tropers/Lalalei2001
* Status: Complete
* Synopsis: When a vengeful villain attempts to turn Disneyland's 50th Anniversary from the Disney Family's greatest triumph to their greatest defeat, it's up to Mickey Mouse to set things right and save his many friends from a fate worse than death!
* Comments: This fic is amazing, especially if you're a Disney fan. 70 plus years of Disney's history are woven into the fic, from parks and attractions to characters. Mickey Mouse being the main hero is really neat, and it was written before Epic Mickey came out. It's an emotional read, especially at the very end. Mickey really has to earn his happy ending, but he does, and it's amazing.
** It also has its own trope page.

Disney's War - A Crossover Story
* Recommended by: [=ScroogeMacDuck=]
* Status: Complete
* Synopsis: Peg-Leg Pete uses the Doorway, a creation of Yen Sid, to access other worlds of the Disney multiverse. He first ends up in Prydain, where he accidentally revives the Horned King, now merged with the powers of the Black Cauldron, who decides to conquer the whole multiverse. But if the worlds aren't kept in balance, terrible things could happen… things far beyond the King's control. To stop that from happening, King Mickey gathers an army of heroes from the whole multiverse to fight against the Horned King's own army, that he created by using the powers of the Cauldron to revive all the Disney Villains of the past. An epic battle awaits them on Bald Mountain…
* Comments: An amazing story, slightly DarkerAndEdgier than the normal Disney universe even though everybody's still in character. Noteworthy, too, for its unique portrayal of how the multiverse works, which is, contrary to many fics, totally different from Franchise/KingdomHearts.
** It got two sequels: first End of Worlds — A Crossover Sequel (Complete) and finally The Final Adventure — Disney Crossover Finale (Complete).
** Now has its very own trope page.

Happy Endings?

* Status: Vanished from the internet. Please poat a link if found.
* Synopsis: This focuses on Wonderland, aka Terra Mirabilos, which is divided into two kingdoms named Corona (White Kingdom) and Titania (Red Kingdom). Chernabog is freed from Bald Mountain by the Evil Queen (whose name here is Mela Grimmhilde), who reveals that they share a common enemy; Snow White, the descendant of Chernabog's ancient foe Bylun and the White Queen of Corona. This story explores Chernabog and Mela's plans to topple Snow White from her throne and manipulate their way through Wonderland. Most of the characters are composite characters in order to fit in heaps of Disney fairytales but still focus on the main characters.
** It now has its own trope page However, the link to the actual story is dead.

Fantasia Crisis by Lord Akiyama
* Recommendedby Jimbodeek
* Status: Complete
* Synopsis: Chernabog is gathering strength with a plan take over the universe. To counter this growing threat, Yen Sid summons twelve of the Universe's greatest heroes, who must learn to work together and overcome their differences if they are to defeat Chernabog and his legions and save the Disney Universe, one world at a time.

The Happiest Place ( AO3 [[]]) by Penwarrior11
* Recommended by: FaireHeart
* Status: Complete
* Synopsis: For fifty-six years, Disneyland held a secret: all the characters are very much alive within the park's walls. Things are not as wonderful as they would seem, however. Factions rise and fall between the characters as they vie for control. Unpopularity means death. Caught in the middle of it all is Cinderella, a character with a great deal of popularity, but few physical ties to either park. When the Villains threaten the park's very existence, the characters will have to put aside their differences in order to save the happiest place on earth.
* Comments: A brilliantly written story focusing on Cinderella’s role in the events before and during an all-out war in Disneyland between the good and evil characters. One of its most interesting aspects is how the author chose to portray the characters as not always getting along, even to the point of forming rivalries. This is particularly true for the princesses themselves. While it is a more general, plot-based story, there is also a romance plotline focused on Cinderella and Captain Jack Sparrow of all people, which the author somehow made work. Be warned that this story is DarkerAndEdgier than many other stories set in the Disney parks and is an incredibly emotional ride from start to finish.
** It has its own tropes page, here.

Toonz: The Gift of Christmas
* Recommended by Mondegreen
* Status: Complete
* Sypnosis: The first Christmas Ashton Bunny spends in L.A. promises to be one he won't soon forget: Mickey Mouse, the star of the Disney Studios and a long-time friend of Ashton's father, Bugs Bunny, wants to try another collaboration between their teams. But the last attempt proved to be disastrous, and after learning of the intense rivalry between the Looney Tunes and the Disney Core, Ashton is worried his father's plans will fall through. When things do take a turn for the worst, Bugs and Mickey are faced with the dilemma of finding an alternative to their idea. It's not an easy task, especially when their own Studios are refusing to help them fund their project any longer. The two families have to come up with a solution before the deadline. But how can Bugs Bunny and Mickey Mouse have their teams cooperate, when they've refused to do so for decades? While they try to find a solution to their problem, Ashton learns the secret history behind the friendship between Animation's two iconic Toons, and what makes it so special. Now all that's left to do is for Bugs and Mickey to find their Christmas Miracle.
* Comments: Though the writing may vary somewhat and there are some heavy bits of exposition, this is still the only fanfiction I've read that not only puts Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny in a story together, but shows a very dynamic (and heartwarming) relationship between the two characters. The story has a boatload of references to the history of Disney and Warner Brothers animation, and it's a very detailed take on how these Toons could operate if they were actually drawn-up actors in real life. It's imperfect, but it's still a great tribute to classic Disney and Looney Tunes cartoons, and a wonderful depiction of how their characters would've interacted.
