The story begins after one of the Good Endings in the ''VisualNovel/{{Air}}'' VisualNovel, where main heroine Misuzu Kamio survives. A year passes without incident, after which Misuzu suddenly dies from a brain aneurysm. Yukito, in grief, encounters a mysterious man named Alan, who offers him his help. With Alan's powers, Yukito meets [[VisualNovel/{{Kanon}} Yuuichi]], and finds that Ayu is still in a coma. The two of them turn once again to Alan for help, after which he brings them to his hometown, [[VisualNovel/{{Clannad}} Hikarizaka City]]. Unbeknownst to them, some entity is behind Misuzu's death and is sapping Ayu's life force, and the Creator/KeyVisualArts leads must scramble to save them.
