[[http://archiveofourown.org/series/23250 Definition of a Human]] by Moonrose91 is a series of fanfiction set in a Marvel Cinematic Universe Alternate Universe Mish-Mash Universe (though the Author categorized it under {{Film/The Avengers}} at first) first published on July 27, 2012 on Archive of Our Own.

The series revolves around the Avengers and how they adjust to having a possibly brainwashed teen around. It is, entirely, Fury's fault that she's there.
