I think the page is suffering example creep, because from my understanding, there's some enjoyment to be had in SoBadItsGood, whereas SoBadItsHorrible is purely trainwreck fascination where you never want to see it again. And there's a ''lot'' of examples that, from the description, just sound like "it sucked hard", which doesn't truly meet the truly epic failure I'd expect. I'd prune them, but since I've never seen the things I can't be sure.

Most SoBadItsGood things could conceivably be made one shade more ridiculous (although you'd have to be very talented to top it), but something SoBadItsHorrible is its own best parody.

Incidentally, Failwin is part of a set. SoBadItsHorrible is Failfail (So bad that it loops back to awesome and continues on to return to the pits of crapdom), Winfail is something so good that it becomes bad, and Winwin is for something so awesome that it pushes past awesome, into craptacular, and then back into awesome. Of these, Failwin and Failfail are the only ones which are interesting, and Failwin sounds the best. Not important, but I felt like being MrExposition. ^^
DarkSasami: Removed the Bulwer-Lytton example, as this is a grave disservice to one of the founding fathers of science fiction. A popular writer in his time, Bulwer-Lytton gave us "the pen is mightier than the sword," "the almighty dollar," and (possibly) "the great unwashed." His writing was certainly florid, but it was only a notch or two more so than the style of the time.
If you want SoBadItsHorrible in 19th century British writing, go look up William Topaz [=McGonnagal=] and the Tay Bridge Disaster, and leave poor Lord Edward alone.

Also, it's the perfect example of an adaptation with with neither AdaptaionDecay or AdaptionDistillation... the game is translated into comic form literally. Not the "story" of the game, the actual gameplay itself. I can't think of anything else quite like it.
MisterSix: Surely the Doom comc is intentionally stupid? The whole thing is a parody of the game's lack of any kind of plot or purpose other than killing. I found it pretty funny myself.

We should also consider neither. With both So Bad pages, especially this one, there's clearly a danger of just listing things you really hate. (I'm taking out the ''Dark Knight Strikes Again'' item for that reason -- it actually says as much.) You know how a book shouldn't be called a "classic" for at least 50 years? I think ten years or so would be a sensible guideline for these pages.
I hold no brief for Frank Miller, by the way. I don't think DKSA was very good (especially the art... man, he should ''really'' stick to drawing his own characters). But SoBadItsHorrible is ''more'' than just bad, and the distinction will become worthless if we overuse it.

32_Footsteps: For the record, I can confirm that a website actually changed its PHP coding to give Big Rigs: Over The Road Racing the rating it deserves. I'm on the executive staff of Netjak, the site that did so. We originally used a 1-10 scale, thinking that if a game was truly putrid and not worth playing, it deserved a 1. After we all gave Big Rigs a try, though, we agreed that it needed a 0 in every conceivable way. We have used the rating since then, but only for one aspect of a given game's production (and not for the game as a whole), though we're hoping that we won't have to ever again.

FreezairForALimitedTime: OK. "Fun" as in "Cathartic when you've been having a bad day." To pull a quote from a Pixar movie, "Negative criticism is fun to write and fun to read." A little subjectivity and the ''ability'' to go hog-wild in a few places is part of the fun and appeal of this place, after all. Besides, it's still a fairly important part of Wiki history, as it were. Trying to cut it wholesale and pretending it never existed would fool no one. And if we did, somebody would invariably try to bring it back. The complaining would almost certainly spill over into the forum. Or, heck, why not stuff it on DarthWiki?
I don't think we ever went ''off'' message. The majority of the Wiki is still about tropes and examples thereof. Having subjective pages does not automatically mean we have forgotten our mission statement.
FastEddie: The DarthWiki idea might work. Technically, it would be assigning the same 'look' to the section as DarthWiki, rather than putting it in the DarthWiki section. The precedent that things like DarthWiki are about blowing steam and aren't what we're really about ''has'' been set.

In Main, a link to SoBadItsHorrible will be redirected to DarthWiki, where you find the page as an index to "...Horrible", the pages of which look like DarthWiki...
Nevermind the tech-y crap. People can now bitch about stuff in the "...Horrible" pages and the look of the thing, hopefully, will communicate that such stuff is for that kind of fun and not about the main mission.
