Deep Silver Volition, formerly known as Volition, Inc., was an American {{video game}} developer based in Champaign, Illinois. Originally founded in 1993 as Parallax Software (of ''VideoGame/{{Descent}}'' fame), it split into Volition, Inc. and Outrage Entertainment in 1996.

After the bankruptcy of Creator/{{THQ}}, they were owned by Koch Media (Creator/DeepSilver), who would be acquired by Embracer Group (parent of Creator/THQNordic) in 2018, making them a sister company to THQ, but [[InNameOnly only in name]].

In November 2022, after ''VideoGame/SaintsRow2022'' failed to meet critical and commercial expectations, Volition was transferred from Deep Silver to Creator/GearboxSoftware. On August 31, 2023, the studio was shut down by Embracer Group. Following Volition's closure, Deep Silver handled both the ''Saints Row'' and ''Red Faction'' franchises to Plaion (formerly Koch Media).
