Takashi Nishiyama is a Japanese game director, producer, and video game designer. He is credited for having created the Franchise/StreetFighter, VideoGame/FatalFury and VideoGame/ArtOfFighting series. He joined {{Creator/SNK}} in 1988 after he had finished directing the first VideoGame/StreetFighterI game with Creator/HiroshiMatsumoto. He then left SNK to form the development company Creator/{{Dimps}} with several SNK staff, including Matsumoto joining him. He is sometimes credited as "Piston Takashi" or "T. Nishiyama".
