Studio Nue is an animation and mechanical design studio established in 1972 by Haruka Takachiho[[note]]the creator of the below mentioned ''Literature/CrusherJoe'' and ''Literature/DirtyPair'' franchises[[/note]], Naoyuki Kato, Kenichi Matsuzaki, and Kazutaka Miyatake. Their best known works can be seen in the ''Anime/{{Macross}}'' franchise; not coincidentally, their best known alumnus is ''Macross'' creator Creator/ShojiKawamori.
