Matsumoto Rica, ''[[Anime/PokemonTheSeries Getto Daze!]]''

Rica Matsumoto (born November 30, 1968), is the successor of Creator/MayumiTanaka in {{Hotblooded}} voice acting, and DistaffCounterpart of [[Anime/DragonballZ Hironobu]] [[Anime/SaintSeiya Kageyama]] in singing {{Anime Theme Song}}s.

Typecast as the KidHero since her StarMakingRole as Jin Hyuga from ''Anime/ZettaiMutekiRaijinOh'', Rica is known nowadays as the voice actress for Satoshi/Ash in ''Anime/PokemonTheSeries'', and [[CatchPhrase has a tendency to ad-lib his catchphrase]] ("getto da ze") when playing other roles. Her roles are hotblooded enough to put Creator/JunkoTakeuchi to shame, yet her range can be cute enough to rival Creator/IkueOtani. She has several solo albums and was a founding member of supergroup Music/JAMProject.

She has no relation to Creator/MarikaMatsumoto, but they did work together [[Anime/PokemonDiancieAndTheCocoonOfDestruction once]].
