!!Tropes & Trivia in his works:
* SoMyKidsCanWatch: He self-admittedly jumped at the chance to appear in 2017's ''[[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic My Little Pony:]] TheMovie'' so his children could finally watch him play someone other than a violent and savage character as in his other films (ironically, he was [[TypeCasting type cast]] as the villain of the movie anyway). When asked why, he said that he once made the horrible mistake of showing his kids ''Film/XMenOriginsWolverine'' and forgetting [[WhatDoYouMeanItsNotForKids it's not exactly your average family superhero movie]].
* TallDarkAndHandsome: He's 6'3 and quite good-looking.
* TypeCasting: He is aware that his roles are mostly brutal villains and anti-heroes, which has had the unfortunate side effect of his young kids viewing him as some kind of bad person.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen: He almost reprised his role as Sabertooth in ''Film/{{Logan}}''.
