Kevin David Sorbo (born September 24, 1958 in Mound, Minnesota) is an American actor.

He is best known for his starring roles in ''Series/HerculesTheLegendaryJourneys'' and ''Series/{{Andromeda}}''. He is married to the actress Sam Jenkins, whom he met on the set of ''Hercules: The Legendary Journeys'', and has three children with her. His son Braeden has become an actor.

In 1997, he suffered from an aneurysm in his shoulder and four strokes. While recovering, he kept his condition a secret from the public until the release of his 2011 autobiography, ''True Strength''. In the aftermath of his strokes, he suffers from bouts of vision loss, weakness, impaired balance, and migraines from time to time.
