Katherine Litwack (born June 13, 1986 in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania), known professionally as Kat Dennings, is an American actress [[TypeCasting known for playing]] [[DeadpanSnarker deadpan snarkers]] and starring in mostly independent film roles.

In 2011, she first broke out in the film world playing Darcy Lewis in the Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse films {{Film/Thor}} and Film/ThorTheDarkWorld. Later the same year as the former, she finally got a leading lady role in a Creator/{{CBS}} TV series called ''Series/TwoBrokeGirls'' where she played a waitress named Max Black alongside her costar Creator/BethBehrs.
