[[quoteright:280:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/John_Rogers_9572.jpg]]

Writer who created TWO cult TV series: the popular TNT dramedy ''Series/{{Leverage}}'' and the Saturday morning cartoon ''WesternAnimation/JackieChanAdventures''. Also served as a co-writer for the SoBadItsGood disaster film ''Film/TheCore'' and the [[Film/Transformers2007 first Transformers movie]]. His other credits include the ''Film/Catwoman2004'' film (which he regards as OldShame) and the 2005 unsold pilot for the ''ComicBook/GlobalFrequency'' TV series (which he's quite proud of). Has a blog [[http://kfmonkey.blogspot.com/ here]]. Generally an all around funny and great guy.

Previously the writer of the original Jaime Reyes ''ComicBook/BlueBeetle'' series and the ''ComicBook/DungeonsAndDragons'' series from IDW. His serial webcomic ''Arcanum'' was running weekly on Creator/MarkWaid's Thrillbent.com, but has gone on hiatus due to Rogers's unexpected success in picking up TV jobs after the end of ''Series/{{Leverage}}''. After Leverage he worked on ''Series/TheLibrarians2014'', and ''Series/ThePlayer''.
