Jensen Ross Ackles (born March 1, 1978) is an American actor. He's was one of those actors where you can throw anything at him from an acting challenge point of view; you can shoot him, tie him up, torture him, dumb him down, make him all bloody and bruised, wring the emo from him and generally have him flung against a hard, inanimate object nearly every episode and he'll eat it up with a spoon and knock it out of the park every time.

As well as being known for modelling photos, he's also well-known for being in shows such as ''Series/{{Supernatural}}'' (Dean Winchester), ''Series/DarkAngel'' (twins Ben & Alec) and ''Series/{{Smallville}}'' (Jason Teague), as well as being in movies like ''Film/{{Devour}}'' (Jake Gray) and ''Film/MyBloodyValentine3D'' (Tom Hanniger). His first big part was on ''Series/DaysOfOurLives'', as Eric Roman Brady (Sami's twin).

Outside of ''Supernatural'', he's been the voice of Jason Todd/Red Hood in ''WesternAnimation/BatmanUnderTheRedHood'', Gibson in the video game ''VideoGame/TronEvolution'', and Kyle Madigan in the ''VideoGame/The3rdBirthday''. In an example of WhatCouldHaveBeen, he was in talks to play Leon Kennedy in ''Film/ResidentEvilAfterlife'' before the delays and the extensive rewrites.

He's married to longtime girlfriend Danneel Harris, with whom he has three kids, Justice Jay and twins Zeppelin Bram and Arrow Rhodes
!!Tropes Associated with Jensen's Career
* MeanCharacterNiceActor: Even his most heroic role as Dean Winchester has him acting a bit of a dick at times. Despite this, he's still considered to be the friendliest face on the set. He's often noted for taking the entire cast of ''Series/{{Supernatural}}'', even the extras, for drinks at the end of a shoot. Bang up guy.
