Jane Espenson won the 2003 Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation, Short Form for her Buffy script "Conversations with Dead People" and the 2012 Hugo Best Dramatic Presentation, Long Form (shared with David Benioff, D. B. Weiss, Bryan Cogman, George R. R. Martin, Tim Van Patten, Brian Kirk, Daniel Minahan and Alan Taylor) for ''Game of Thrones'' Season One.
