Jack Davenport (born 1 March 1973 in London, England) is an English actor best known for roles as Miles in ''Series/ThisLife'', Steve in ''Series/{{Coupling}}'', and Commodore Norrington in ''Franchise/PiratesOfTheCaribbean''.

He is the son of actors Nigel Davenport and Maria Aitken. He's married since 2000 to fellow actor Creator/MichelleGomez, of ''Series/DoctorWho'', ''Series/ChillingAdventuresOfSabrina'' and ''Series/BadEducation'' fame. They have a son, born in 2010.
