Framestore (formerly Framestore CFC from 1998 until 2008) is a British visual effects company founded in 1986 by Sharon Reed, William Sargent, Jonathan Hills, Mike [=McGee=] and Alison Turner. Much like Creator/HybrideTechnologies and Creator/ZoicStudios, Framestore started out doing commercials and TV shows and started their film division in 1994. To this day, they still work on television shows and commercials, as well as iPhone apps, WebOriginal animation and three of Music/OneDirection's videos[[labelnote:List]]"Live While We're Young", "Little Things", "Kiss You"[[/labelnote]], all the while making effects for films. In November 2020, they acquired Creator/MethodStudios and its sister companies -- Company 3, Encore, and Stereo D -- from Deluxe; with Method being directly absorbed into the company once all films in the pipeline at that time were completed.
