Cornelia Maria Funke (born 10 December 1958) is a German author of [[ChildrensLiterature Children's]] FantasyLiterature, best known for writing ''Literature/TheInkworldTrilogy''. She was a well-known author in Germany long before writing the Inkworld Trilogy, though her earlier works were more clearly intended for children. Works without their own trope page include the Ghosthunter series.
