Chad Michael Murray (born August 24, 1981 in Buffalo, New York) is an American actor, writer and former fashion model. He is known for portraying Lucas Scott in Creator/TheCW young adult drama series ''Series/OneTreeHill''. He is usually typecast as a bad boy [[AllGirlsWantBadBoys that all the girls want]].

In addition to his acting work, Murray wrote the GraphicNovel ''Everlast'' in 2011, and co-authored ''American Drifter: An Exhilarating Tale of Love and Murder'' with Heather Graham in 2017.
