!!Tropes and trivia associated with Bang Zoom! Entertainment:

* AllStarCast: Bang Zoom mostly averts this trope ever since their Manga/KOn dub and they have been hiring newer names in addition to several veteran voice actors. They still do this on an occasional basis, like with LightNovel/FateZero and LightNovel/Durarara.
* AmateurCast: Most of their anime and video game dubs after 2011 falls into this trope, usually involves young and newer voice talents from open auditions from Anime Expo.
* DigitalPiracyIsEvil: A issue Eric P. Sherman brought up with his controversial comments. This trope is also stressed by many voice actors who work with Bang Zoom!
* HeyItsThatVoice: Bang Zoom Entertainment uses top profile and well-known veteran anime voice actors like Creator/SteveBlum, Creator/WendeeLee, Creator/JohnnyYongBosch, Creator/MichelleRuff, Creator/CrispinFreeman, and Creator/YuriLowenthal.
** Ever since the Manga/KOn dub, they've been hiring newer talents in their anime voice work. They still hire large names from time to time.
* PigeonholedVoiceActor: Zig-zagged. At first, it seems that Bang Zoom has a habit of doing this with their own voice actors (especially with their newer voice talents). However, since Bang Zoom is known to get new voice talents through Anime Expo, many of the voice actors who seem to be typecasted usually break away from their typecast once they establish a professional career. In some cases, Bang Zoom may have the voice actor PlayingAgainstType and end up with a new typecast after the said role. A notable example is Creator/ToddHaberkorn. Prior to moving to Los Angeles and his time with Creator/Funimation, he's often typecast as the main protagonist. However, his roles as Sugou Nobuyuki and Judar had led into his new typecast, villains. Similarly, Creator/JohnnyYongBosch's PlayingAgainstType as Lelouch and Tohru Adachi had led him into DarkerAndEdgier roles.
* ProductionPosse: Bang Zoom has traditionally use the same voice actors in many of their dubs. However, they are open to using newer voice talents (usually from the ones from their yearly open auditions to several anime or video game projects from Anime Expo)
* SpiritualSuccessor: Bang Zoom (along with Creator/Studiopolis) can easily be this to Animaze (another Los Angeles based studio that specialize in anime dubbing). In addition, some of the veteran voice actors who used to work with Animaze eventually end up working with Bang Zoom!. Unlike Studiopolis, Bang Zoom's current Anime dubs mainly uses new voice talent in their Anime dubs and are less expensive compared to Animaze and Studiopolis which primarily uses experienced voice talent and are a lot more expensive compared to the former.
* ViewersAreGeniuses: The casting of Manga/LuckyStar manages to keep all the references and Actor Allusions intact, and even throws in more references in some cases.
