Ayane Sakura (佐倉 綾音), born in Tokyo on January 29, 1994, is a popular voice actress. She's affiliated with the agency Aoni Production. Her break out role was as Merry Nightmare in ''Manga/DreamEaterMerry'', and since then her roles are usually energetic girls and later on goes to voice {{Good Bad Girl}}s. However, she has proven herself to be [[ManOfAThousandVoices a very versatile voice actress]] as evident with her roles in ''VideoGame/KanColle'' where she voiced a bunch of characters, from the high-pitched Shimazake to the deeper voiced Nagato-class battleships. She also has a nice singing voice and has had several [[AnimeThemeSong Anime Theme Songs]].

She's also a ''[[http://ambiseiy.com/2013/10/15/sakura-ayane-and-her-love-for-hanazawa-kana/ huge]]'' fan of Creator/KanaHanazawa. Ironically, in some of her most [[Anime/PsychoPass notable]] [[Manga/{{Orange}} castings]] with her, her characters despise Hanazawa's. However, she and Hanazawa have also starred together as sisters [[VideoGame/{{Arknights}} more]] [[Manga/{{Nisekoi}} than]] [[Manga/TheQuintessentialQuintuplets once]].

Not to be confused with fellow singer Music/{{Ayane}}.

* ChildLikeVoice: Many of the characters she's played, the most famous arguably being Ochaco Uraraka.
* TheDanza: As Ayane in ''Anime/WeatheringWithYou'' and as Sakura Amamiya in ''VideoGame/SakuraWars2019'' (even though Sakura is the seiyuu's surname and the character's given name).
* GenkiGirl: Both the seiyuu herself and many of her more popular characters.
* PigeonholedVoiceActor: She has mostly played GenkiGirl characters, though later roles have veered away from that in a big way.
* PlayingAgainstType: Ayane Sakura is known for being mostly cast as [[GenkiGirl cute, energetic girls]]. However, in ''Manga/BlackClover'' she voices the quiet, apathetic Secre Swallowtail.
* TwoFirstNames: Both "Ayane" and "Sakura" are common given names for Japanese girls. Considering the Japanese method of reading names (i.e. family name first, given name second), hers could be rather confusing for new fans.
* WomanOfAThousandVoices: As seen in ''VideoGame/KanColle'', ''VideoGame/FireEmblemHeroes'' and ''VideoGame/FireEmblemWarriors''. When she was originally cast as the five Nakano sisters from ''Manga/TheQuintessentialQuintuplets'' as mentioned above, she managed to give a completely unique voice for all five of them.
