* ChivalrousPervert: She technically solicits a callmare (that she finds very attractive) and opts to do nothing with her, refusing to take advantage of a [[HookerWithAHeartOfGold poor single mother]]. She also states that, despite her libido, it's actually been awhile since she last got laid.
* CrazyPrepared: She carries a saddlebag with her (including to formal events like a debutante ball) that seems to contain [[HiddenSupplies a wide array of tools and reagents]].

* DeadpanSnarker: Likes to play this way toward Moonthistle, although it rarely ends in her favor.
* InferioritySuperiorityComplex: She seems to have developed one of these as a result of [[AlwaysSecondBest living in her sister's shadow]], and [[VitriolicBestBuds passive-aggressively directs it at Moonthistle]].
* GloryDays: She used to be quite an athlete, to the point of having the fastest gallop in the kingdom and being known as the Red Mare (almost certainly a reference to [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Hare Red Hare]]). However, she insists she's "outgrown" such silly games and intends to pursue a career in academics.
* PlayingWithFire: Hinted to be her special talent, and a powerful one at that. The fire she lights is almost strong enough to ''melt a fireplace poker.''
* VitriolicBestBuds: With Moonthistle.

!!Silvermane
* ButLiquorIsQuicker: The reason she wound up pregnant with Arcanus (and possibly his brothers).

* SophisticatedAsHell: Being a Victorian-esque upper-middle class lady of taste doesn't preclude her from using such language as "laying it on thick," "bingo!" and referring to socialization as "mingling."

* LoveAtFirstSight: Possibly. Arcanus' feelings were far more blatant, but the fact remains they were married by the next chapter.

* VillainousBreakdown: Starts off a SmugSnake, but her calm facade begins to crack as Celestia pushes her buttons. She completely goes to pieces just before her defeat.
