Vince's long-suffering wife, who occasionally made appearances during the Attitude and Ruthless Aggression Eras. She's the sanest and most level-headed [=McMahon=], and the few times she appears has her fix whatever problems her family has been causing.

* BewareTheNiceOnes: Arguably the sanest and most cool-headed of the [=McMahons=], should you betray her (*cough* Vince and Stephanie), she will use all her power as CEO to make your life miserable.
** In fact, Wrestling/JimRoss didn't even see it coming when Linda both fired and kicked him in the balls in late 2005.
* BunnyEarsLawyer: She has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Education, after all, not to mention running the business side of [=WWE=] for nearly 25 years. In 2010, she ran for Senate.
* ClingyJealousGirl: Linda doesn't appreciate Vince cheating on her, but she often finds clever ways to get back at him. In some cases, she enlists whichever women Vince is lusting after to help in her revenge schemes.

* EnemyMine: Linda obviously gets angry whenever Vince tries to cheat on her with one of the female wrestlers, but she's allied with them to get back at Vince. One such scheme involved using Torrie Wilson as a HoneyTrap so Linda could literally [[CaughtWithYourPantsDown catch Vince with his pants down]].
* HighSchoolSweethearts: With Vince in RealLife.
* LongBusTrip: All the time. Entire years go by where no one remembers she even exists or is the [=CEO=]. The longest bus trip is probably just starting, considering her RealLife resignation from [=WWE=] to make a bid for one of Connecticut's Senate seats in 2010, which she lost. She then ran for the other Senate seat in 2012, and lost that one too. Then she was appointed to be the Administrator of the Small Business Administration by UsefulNotes/DonaldTrump, so she almost ''certainly'' won't be seen anywhere in WWE for the foreseeable future.
* MissingMom: Linda is very rarely seen on television these days-and indeed never appeared much at all compared to Vince or their kids.

* OnlySaneEmployee: Babysit a bunch of [[TheBrute muscular]], [[DisproportionateRetribution not-entirely]] [[BerserkButton level-headed]] wrestlers, keep the company in financial order, and make sure her [[BigScrewedUpFamily family]] ([[ExecutiveMeddling Vince]] [[DirtyOldMan in particular]]) doesn't screw it up. It really kind of [[DysfunctionJunction sucks to be Linda sometimes]].
* [[OnlySaneMan Only Sane Woman]]: Linda comes across as this compared to the rest of the family, given that she's never been beaten with kendo sticks, showered with manure or jumped off the Titantron.
* OutOfFocus: Linda doesn't appear on WWE shows nearly as much as Vince or their children. She's also the only one who's never competed in a match.
* RealLifeWritesThePlot: Her first political campaign was [[Wrestling/ChrisBenoit half of the reason]] why WWE went [[LighterAndSofter "PG"]].
