This is the Rooster Teeth character sheet, for the employees (and [[TeamPet Joe the Cat]]) of Creator/RoosterTeeth Productions, the people behind ''Machinima/RedVsBlue'', Creator/AchievementHunter, ''WebAnimation/{{RWBY}}'', and several other works.
!!Rooster Teeth in general:
* AlcoholInducedIdiocy: With the exceptions of [[TheTeetotaler Ray, Ryan, and Monty]], basically everyone at the company has shared some funny stories on the podcast of their antics when they were really drunk. Oftentimes, someone ''else'' has to recount the story because the person in question was that far gone.
* MeanCharacterNiceActor: In real life they actually get on very well with each other and with the fans, they just choose to play up their pranks a lot for entertainment.
* {{Troll}}: Almost always PlayedForLaughs, pretty much everyone at Rooster Teeth has engaged in this kind of behavior.
* VitriolicBestBuds: The best way to spot the biggest pairs of pals in videos is to identify who's antagonizing whom the most.

!!The Original Six

[[folder:Michael "Burnie" Burns]]
!!Michael "Burnie" Burns
The ex-CEO of the company, Burnie heads most of the productions that aren't related to Achievement Hunter. He penned most of ''Machinima/RedVsBlue'' (before passing the baton off to Miles) and co-directs with Matt, while providing the voice for Leonard Church.
* {{Badass}}
** BadassBeard
** BadassBookworm: May come from having a dad who was a physicist ([[ReligiousBruiser and a priest]].) He may just seem like a smart guy, but he ''punched out a horse with one punch''.
** BadassLabcoat: In "Immersion".
* BadBoss: PlayedForLaughs in the RoosterTeethShorts and The Gauntlet.
** BenevolentBoss: In RealLife.
* BerserkButton: Not a fan of animal cruelty.
** In a more comical example, any time Gus brings up iPhones or digital media on the podcast, things can quickly turn ugly.
* BigBrotherBully: His brother was one, at least according to many of the stories he's told that have became Animated Adventures.
* BigEater: He jokes about this frequently.
* DoNotTryThisAtHome: His and Gus' advice about the anarchist's cookbook. They're ''dead-serious'' about it, too. [[JustifiedTrope Many recipes have been badly edited to the point that many people have died BEFORE testing their stuff]]. To clarify, this is a book about ''making bombs''.
* DrivesLikeCrazy: Admits to this after Joel calls him a bad driver.
* FormerlyFat: He's lost a fair amount of weight recently. However, his animated incarnation still shows him as chubby.
* GotMeDoingIt: One instance, he's talking about Gus and his newfound love for flight sims. He ends up saying "But, before you take off on this..." and [[PungeonMaster Barbara]] catches it, leading him to meekly and embarrassingly say "Yay..."
* TheHyena: Often with Gavin.
* KindheartedCatLover: Don't insult Joe the Cat.
* MeanCharacterNiceActor; His character in the live action shorts is an asshole. In real life, he's a very tolerant person and great guy.
** Ditto with The Gauntlet, their attempt at making a reality project. He basically passes himself off as an {{Expy}} of Donald Trump and behaves obnoxiously, but only to heighten the drama; in any case, the contestants don't seem to mind.
--> '''Burnie''': I don't like ''any'' of you.
* OneSteveLimit: Burnie is the owner of and has been approached by the city of Burnie, Tasmania to relinquish access to it. He's not particularly inclined to hand it over, however.
** Ironically, his "first" name came around from the fact that there were so many Michaels in his class.
* OneHitKO: Delivered this to a ''horse''.
* PapaWolf: To his kids, and even to Joe the Cat.
** To the staff themselves, especially the younger ones. He's acknowledged that, having interacted with Barbara since she was 15 via the community site, he's very protective of her, especially when she was first hired.
* PermaStubble
* RaisedCatholic: He mentions quite often that his dad was a priest before he was born. Nowadays he doesn't seem that devout, if at all, but he admits that he would struggle to throw away a Bible if asked to.
* SelfDeprecation
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Sandwiches. His antics in the Rooster Teeth Shorts are often spurned by him stealing someone's sandwich, and the office tour on the Rooster Teeth DVD has a ExcusePlot of Burnie about to give a tour only to collapse for lack of sandwiches.
* TooDumbToLive: As a kid, as summed up in this video [[ here]], he describes himself as falling into this. Not so much nowadays but he was damned lucky- and he admits it.
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: He doesn't seem to get along well with horses. Not only did he once have to punch one, as noted above, but another time one got loose and started chewing on his car, leaving bite marks all over the metal.

[[folder:Matt Hullum]]
!!Matt Hullum
The current CEO of Rooster Teeth. One of Joel's college friends, the two went on to collaborate on several projects and Matt met Burnie through Joel. Along with Burnie, he helped to produce the first four seasons of ''Red vs. Blue'' and also worked on visual effects during ''Blood Gulch Chronicles'' and ''Reconstruction''. Now directs the series along with Burnie, helps Monty with the effects and voices Sarge.
* BadBoss: PlayedForLaughs. During a special recap he gets ambushed by JJ and goes "you guys know I can fire you, right?" in order to get out of it. In real life he's a reasonable guy- ''not'' this trope, as a few stupid people claim.
* ManOfAThousandVoices: He is described as being "the closest Rooster Teeth has to actual voice acting", in terms of its regular staff at least. There are now voice actors in a lot of their productions, but at the time most voices were done by him (he still voices a lot of characters, though, the most prominent of which are Sarge, Doc, O'Malley and Wyoming).
* MeanCharacterNiceActor: His most prominent roles in ''Red vs Blue'' are Sarge (a warmongering lunatic), O'Malley (an EvilOverlord wannabe with AIIsACrapshoot tendencies to boot) and Wyoming (a [[FauxAffablyEvil Faux Affably Evil]] [[EvilBrit Brit]]). Matt is rather mellow in real life.
* OnlySaneMan: In the Rooster Teeth Shorts... [[SanityBall mostly]].
* PrecisionFStrike: If he swears, you've probably done something mind blowing (either in a stupid way or hilarious way).
* TheSmartGuy: A role he used to share with Gus. Gus is best at the technology stuff, but Matt was the go-to guy for visual effects until Monty Oum joined the team. Nowadays he sticks to directing with Burnie, and also works with Monty on the visual effects (though he supervises for the most part).
* SophisticatedAsHell: Switches from speaking in a really smart way, to randomly swearing from time to time.
* TheStoic

[[folder:Geoff Lazer Ramsey]]
!!Geoffrey Lazer "Geoff" Ramsey (born Geoffrey Fink)
[[caption-width-right:300:[[BadassMustache His mustache looks badass]] [[{{Catchphrase}} as dicks.]]]]
The leader and co-founder of Creator/AchievementHunter, as well as the group's Team Gents, and the voice of Grif in ''Red vs. Blue''.
* AintNoRule: Not as often as Ryan, but he does this from time to time in ''Let's Play Minecraft'', especially considering he ''makes'' the rules most of the time and it lets him pick out loopholes. In the first part of King Ryan, he points out to Gavin that the rules state that they can't kill each other in the palace... but that doesn't say anything about stealing the Iron Ore that Gavin was smelting.
* AmbiguousDisorder: PlayedForLaughs during [[ some short vids with Jack]], where he'll do nothing but make odd, somewhat confused faces into the camera.
* {{Adorkable}}: When his daughter Millie is around.
** Also showed signs of this when he first rode horses in ''Minecraft''.
* AmusingInjuries: When he gets hurt, it's mostly hilarious as he normally isn't too badly hurt.
* TheAlcoholic: Averted, but joked about, such as toward the end of [[ the Game Fails announcement]]. He used to drink a ''lot'' more though in the earlier days of Rooster Teeth, to the point that whiskey is associated with him to this day.
* ArcVillain: Invoked for episodes 15, 16 and 17 of ''Let's Play Minecraft''. He grew sick of his work as the GameMaster, so he decided to ''be'' the challenge for the crew. To that end, he stole the Tower of Pimps, barricaded himself in a floating continent and turned into an ImplacableMan HeroKiller.
** TheBadGuyWins: Not that he's a villain ''per se''. Only in the sense that he's an antagonist. Nevertheless, he still succeeded in stacking the Tower of Pimps for himself by the end of episode 17.
* AuthorAppeal: In ''Fails of the Weak'', his favorite fails are "dick bounces", i.e. grenades getting bounced [[GroinAttack off of a player's crotch]] [[SubvertedTrope into other players]].
* AwesomeMcCoolname: His middle name is Lazer, though he legally changed it as a joke. He was initially changing his last name to match his stepfather's, but found out that it actually didn't cost extra to change one's other names.
* {{Badass}}: Jack rams Geoff with a Ghost and drags him across the field, but Geoff not only survives - he ''hijacks the Ghost''.
** In ''Minecraft'', his badassery tends to go unnoticed compared to [[TookALevelInBadass Jack]], [[TheJuggernaut Michael]], [[TheArcher Gavin]], [[{{Badass}} Ryan]], and especially [[TheAce Ray]]. And yet, he manages to have the single ''best'' K/D ratio according to Rooster Teeth's Achievement City infographic at 1 kill per 2 deaths (the runner up being Michael's 2 for 5).
* BadassBeard: [[AvertedTrope Averted.]] His hobo beard really didn't look that great.
** BadassMustache: Lately, he's been rocking a fantastic handlebar (seen in the above image) that looks ever so slightly like it just time jumped out of the Civil War. It's worked out much better for him than the beard.
* BadBoss: PlayedForLaughs among the Achievement Hunter crew.
* BatmanGambit: When Gavin stole from him ''again'' in ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 9, Geoff knew that Gavin, the kleptomaniac troll that he is, would steal from him again, so he took the fourth and final gold block from his chest and left some token armor pieces in it. Gavin fell for it, and Geoff finished making his Tower of Pimps, winning the round.
** Another happened in ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 17. He was stacking a long bridge of blocks from his Sky Fortess to get to Achievement City, but he ran out of blocks, so he went back to his room, jumped down to the river and hijacked [[ChekhovsGun a boat that Gavin once used in an earlier episode]]. It took a while before they noticed.... and then [[EpicFail Geoff's boat disappeared]].
* BaitAndSwitch: In ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 13, when he hid the Tower of Pimps away from Achievement City, Geoff made nine different tower decoys to throw them off (i.e. one glass block tower, one diamond block tower, five yellow wool block towers).
** CallBack: Gavin once made a gigantic tower of sand blocks to get him onto a tree. Geoff left it in for episode 13.
* BerserkButton: Whenever someone messes up something that Geoff has put hard work into, he ''will'' make them pay for it. [[NoHoldsBarredBeatdown Just ask Gavin.]]
* TheBigGuy: Though eventually he moved up to...
** TheLeader: For Achievement Hunter.
* BringMyBrownPants: There have been a number of times (usually involving Gavin) where Geoff almost shit his pants in the middle of recording.
* ButtMonkey: Seriously, he probably gets hurt the most out of everybody on the team.
* CaptainCrash: "Things to do in GTA V - Hungry Hungry Choppers" revealed why Geoff doesn't fly the Cargobob as he ends up dunking four of them into the ocean.
* CaptainObvious: In "The Hidden", he noticed the invisible KnifeNut moving a small box. Geoff yelled out "He's over by a box!", in a room ''filled'' with boxes. Ray even addresses it.
-->'''Ray''': "[[LampshadeHanging A box, huh?]]"
* CantCatchUp: In the early ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episodes, Michael was still getting used to the game, Jack was a weak performer, and despite Gavin's familiarity with the game, his trolling made it impossible for him to win. Geoff's only consistent competition was [[TheAce Ray]], and even then Geoff was not that far behind him in Tower of Pimps wins (Geoff and Michael once tied for three for the longest time). Since then, however, Michael and Jack TookALevelInBadass, Gavin is often a SpannerInTheWorks who fails narrowly, Ray remains first and is still a strong competitor, and to make matters worse, ''Ryan'' has proven to be a {{Badass}} on par with Ray or Michael. It also doesn't help his case that he tends to work as the GameMaster or the cameraman, so he's not as acclimated to the courses as Michael and Jack.
** It also applies to HORSE as well. In the first 4 HORSE episodes, Geoff beat Jack every time. After that, though, Geoff lost to Jack consistently. He has only won like twice against Jack since then and both times were PIG. This even applies to other competitors and Trials as well. If Geoff wins a HORSE episode, expect there to be thousands of comments expressing shock.
** Averted as of late. Geoff has gotten been doing a lot better in the Lets Plays. While he still doesn't compete all the time, he has won the Tower twice in the past few months which is more than he has one in over a year He has also come close to winning a couple of Minecraft Lets Plays, most notably, King Ray which he only lost due to an HonorBeforeReason moment. He has also started to do better in a lot more games, including the Sochi Olympics which he took 3rd in. He even managed to sweep Jack in an episode of HUNT, which is something he was never able to accomplish in HORSE.
** Played straight in VS, where Geoff easily trails the rest of the guys in win-loss percentages. Even Lindsay, who joined VS a ''year'' into its run, has overtaken him in victories.
* CatchPhrase: " dicks." This is both good and bad. There is no rhyme or reason. There is only dicks. For instance, he has used both "fun as dicks" and "boring as dicks" in the same video.
** "''WHAT HAPPENED?! WHAT HAPPENED?!''" Usually when things don't go his way.
** "OH GEOFF!" when he screws up.
* ChaoticNeutral: Normally when he plays games where you target specific people, he ends up killing everyone in sight, regardless of whether they're his target or not. This is best illustrated in ''Trouble In Terrorist Town'' when he even kills the two other traitors for no reason, and on ''The Ship'' where his constant killing of either the other Achievement Hunters or random passengers result in him being far in the negatives in money. In the latter example he actually said "I'll kill anyone, I don't give a fuck!"
* ComedicSociopathy: When asked if he ever regrets his moments of SuperDickery or ComedicSociopathy, he says "I don't think honesty is a good way to answer it."
* CommonalityConnection:
** The [[HotBlooded Dynamic]] [[IdiotHero Dumbasses]] with Michael.
** [[StuffBlowingUp Plan]] [[AlliterativeName G]] with Gavin.
* CrazyPrepared: He registered the [=YouTube=] channel "LetsPlay" back in 2006, seven years before he started to use it.
* CutASliceEatTheRest: One RT Short titled "Cooking With Geoff" had Geoff teach viewers how to make cornbread that would get them drunk. After putting the cornbread in the pan, he instructs to pour a tiny bit of whiskey into a measuring cup... then promptly starts drinking from the bottle itself.
* DeathGlare: It's heavily implied he flashed such a look when Gavin forgot to record the first ten minutes of "Let's Play ''Trials Evolution'' - DLC".
* DidNotThinkThisThrough: It's obvious that, by episode 12 of "GO!", that his idea of a pizza party for everyone who reaches five wins is going to be a painful one - for his wallet.
* DisproportionateRetribution:
** Assaulting Gavin for killing him in ''Minecraft'', even if he is a {{troll}} overall.
** Also taunted teachers with the knowledge that he knew of the "Anarchist's Cookbook", by reciting a recipe as to how to make napalm. Thankfully he has grown out of this.
** Punched Gavin in the stomach for winning the Tower of Pimps... completely legitimately, too.
* DoNotTryThisAtHome: See TooDumbToLive. Also gave a comment of the same sort about his bet that he could earn 10,000 gamerscore in one week, as he was exhausted and wanted nothing but some fresh air.
* DullSurprise: During some episodes of the Weekly Update, his portions can consist of mostly staring slackly and saying "Uuuuuhhhh..." into the camera. Inverted in episode 93 of ''Let's Play Minecraft''. Geoff reacts relatively calmly when Ryan drops out of the sky then later pops up from the ground beneath him (in ham-handed attempts to steal from the store). It isn't until Ryan just walks up to the store as a customer that Geoff gets startled.
* EpicFail:
** He is ''unbelievably atrocious'' in Ultra Mini Golf Part 2. Cataloging his fuck ups would take up most of the page, but suffice to say, at the end of episode three, he is now '''61 over par'''.
** In Armageddon Episode 2, he was just about to punch Michael's worm off a cliff, but jumped over him by mistake, fell off the cliff and hit a tree. In the same game, he brought up a bazooka that would launch a homing missile, but he ''shot himself''.
** In "The Hidden", Geoff gets sliced by Jack, who's invisible, so Geoff's response is to run into wall and shoot blindly ''at'' the wall, when Jack was ''right behind him''.
** At the very end of Worms Revolution, it was Geoff vs Michael each with one worm left. What does Geoff do on his turn? [[spoiler: He manages to shoot himself with a missile and gives Michael the win.]]
** ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 4, Geoff gets a bucketload of wood for tools, so he uses it.... to make sticks. The guys, namely Gavin, Ray and Michael, make sure to keep him from living it down.
--->'''Geoff''': "Where did I...? What happened to my wood? Oh, I made a billion sticks. Fuckin'... This is ''my idea''! How did I fuck that up?"\\
'''Gavin''': "It's like you've blown your own mind with how stupid you were."\\
'''Ray''': "Dude, I got sixteen sticks!"\\
'''Geoff''': "How did I - how did I lo-"\\
'''Michael''': "Are you serious? You ''still'' can't grasp this? You can watch the video."\\
'''Ray''': "I can't wait to see the sixteen sticks in his inventory and he's like ''What the fuck''?!"
** In Ender Pearl Race, he was the first to mine the Tower of Pimps. As he looked up, he accidentally fell into the water, threw an ender pearl at a ramp.... and teleported in lava.
--->'''Michael''': Well, there goes the Tower!
* In the "Things to Do in Grand Theft Auto V - Skee Ball", he's the only one who doesn't get any points, and he's the guy who made it!
* FatAndSkinny: With Jack in Achievement Hunter, though downplayed as Jack's weight has gone down and Geoff isn't really that skinny.
** The fat to Caleb's skinny, relatively speaking.
* GenreSavvy: During ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 25, the guys were following [[{{Troll}} Gavin]]'s instructions to meet up with him. He was mining two blocks behind Jack, in case Jack fell to his death. He was right.
** In ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 30, Gavin tries to get Geoff to "walk to the back wall". Geoff's response is a blunt "No". When Gavin asks why, Geoff says "'Cause I'm not a fucking moron."
* TheGMIsACheatingBastard: Rare non role playing version. His role in episodes 15 to 17 of ''Let's Play Minecraft'' basically involved him setting himself up with as unfair an advantage as possible, loading himself with lava buckets and arrows galore, as well as putting himself in a miniature floating continent.
** Less so than it may seem, actually. It should be stated that Gavin, Jack, Ray, and Michael had several opportunities to win that would have ended in at least taking the tower away from Geoff (Geoff accidentally falling off his tower; finding the mark for a hidden supply of diamond tools; Gavin suiting up and hiding to kill Geoff at the last second; etc.). They just couldn't follow through.
** Actually the game was heavily tipped in Geoff's favor. The hidden supply of tools was not hidden right behind the out of place cobblestone. It was hidden three blocks over to the right behind a seeminly normal block of dirt. Gavin would not have been able to kill Geoff as well because all he had was an iron sword and Geoff had all diamond. Lastly, Geoff's fall from the tower was completely unplanned which meant that the game was intentionally rigged.
* GoshDangItToHeck: Whenever his young daughter's part of a video, he avoids profanity totally and sometimes resorts to this when he would normally curse.
* {{Griefer}}: Watch him play ''NewSuperMarioBrosU'' and place blocks in everyone's way while laughing manically.
* HeterosexualLifePartners: To Jack or Gus, depending on the video. In the "Headlight Fluid" Animated Adventure, he and Gus are jokingly labeled "Best Couple". With Jack their relationship goes more in a VitriolicBestBuds route, with Geoff joking that the stress from HORSE has caused them to "sleep in separate beds now".
** Also with Gavin since Gavin lives at his house, helps him plan most of the minecraft builds and if Geoff does co-op videos with one other person, it's always with Gavin.
* HiddenDepths
** Geoff has sometimes shown himself to be a huge comic book fan, as shown during their X-Men Arcade playthrough, in which he references several well known Wolverine plots and makes the odd ShoutOut to his various {{Pre Ass Kicking One Liner}}s.
** He's also well-read in classic literature. Between Hans Christian Andersen's ''{{Literature/The Snow Queen}}'' and Disney's ''{{Disney/Frozen}}'', Geoff has expressed a strong preference for the former. He also immediately knew that HenryDavidThoreau was the author of ''Walden'' in a ''WheelOfFortune'' LetsPlay.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: In the Ender Pearl Race, the lava pool he falls into twice? The "Hop 'Til You Drop" obstacle course he made. Also counts as a ChekhovsGun ''and'' ChekhovsBoomerang.
** He does it again in ''VS.'' Episode 58, not only getting the block and counter buttons reversed while playing ''VideoGame/DeadOrAlive 5'', but choosing a character whose combat style is way off the norm.
* HypocriticalHumor: He has a go at Jack for having a beard that's too long, but at one time Geoff had a beard of his own that wasn't exactly the tidiest. Thankfully, he shaved it off and went for a mustache.
* TheHyena: Thanks to ''Fails of the Weak''. Has led to his laugh being called a cure for all things horrible.
* ItAmusedMe: After Gavin and Michael find him, Geoff decides to barricade his hideout with TNT, laughing his ass off as: Gavin burns himself upon igniting the TNT; Ray freaks out at Geoff's decision; and Ray gets killed as the TNT explodes. He's laughing so hard that it allows Michael to kill him not too long after. His reason for it was "entertainment".
* LaughingMad: During ''VideoGame/HaloReach'' Fails of the Weak, he spends at least three quarters of the time laughing his ass off, and the other quarter [[ClusterFBomb expressing]] [[FlatWhat disbelief]] [[MindScrew at what]] [[BigWhat just happened]]. See ItAmusedMe as well.
* LaserGuidedKarma: In ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 17, after winning the Tower of Pimps and taking it from [[TheAce Ray]], he (naturally) bragged about it. Ray won it back in episodes 19 ''and'' 20.
** In ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 29, after indirectly killing Ray and losing the round [[ItAmusedMe for shits and giggles]], Geoff gets major lag issues after he respawns, delaying him from watching the rest of the game until the very end.
** After taking the Tower of Pimps from Gavin and taunting everybody by sneezing into it (it was cleaned, don't worry), Ray wins in the subsequent episode and takes the Tower from Geoff again.
** In ''Let's Play Grand Theft Auto IV'' Races, he gives up the third race and decides to be a troll, ramming Gavin and causing him to lose first place. Later on, he rams Ray, causing him to lose third place. Ray responds by shooting at Geoff as he comes back around, nailing him perfectly and killing him.
* MeanCharacterNiceActor: Hard-swearing, maybe, but he's still a quite nice guy offscreen.
* NobodyPoops: Averted. A large number of videos feature Geoff talking about how he has to use the bathroom.
* PapaWolf: Extends to being completely unable to deal with little girls in sad or upsetting situations. [[ Watch him freak out at the Dead Island trailer]].
* PottyFailure: Over the course of a year, he shit his pants twice. And another time, Gavin, trying, and failing miserably, to play a baseball game with him got him so close to it that he thought he did and had to leave right before the end to check.
** Though Gavin beat his record, as discussed in Let's Play Titanfall part. He beat Geoff's record ''three times over'' '''over the course of 24 hours.'''
* PornStache: At times, he shaves his beard and lets a mustache grow out instead, bordering on this at its longest.
* RetiredBadass: Of all the staff members, he actually served in the military. And he's still a pretty good shot.
* RunningGag: Geoff has quite a bit of trouble getting the others to shut up and pay attention to the the rules at the start of each ''Minecraft'' episode, the point where he frequently gives the reigns over to a co-GM or jokingly [[BadBoss threatens to fire people]].
** He also seems to chronically have trouble finding coal compared to the others and will express irritation when someone inevitably brags how much they have in excess.
* ScreamsLikeALittleGirl: Geoff utterly freaks out during the ''Survivors Beta 3'' LetsPlay.
* SirSwearsALot: Normally, but he goes out of his way to defy this trope when he's with his daughter, as some viewers pointed out during some of their father-daughter Achievement Hunter commentary.
* SoreLoser: In ''Minecraft'', he has a tendency to get annoyed if he gets undermined. Case in point, episode 23 when he punches Gavin in the gut for winning.
** After Ray once again takes the Tower of Pimps back from Geoff, he slaps around Ray's toys in protest.
** Completely {{averted}} in Black Ops 2 Part 2. Geoff even says he is cheering for Ray(despite the fact that Ray is an enemy) and when Ray does it, Geoff is one of the first to congratulate him.
** Geoff has really been [[AvertedTrope averting]] this as of late. There were several times that he came extremely close to winning and he has not become upset that he lost. Take King Ray, for example, where he ultimately screws himself out of a win by honoring his earlier deal with Michael and telling him that he found diamond, even though Michael can easily kill him. Despite the fact that he came so close to winning the Tower for the first time in months, he did not seem upset at all that he lost and even said that he had no regrets.
* StationaryBoss: ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episodes 15 - 17 have him hiding in a Sky Fortress, protecting the Tower of Pimps. He pours lava all over the fortress and fires arrows to keep Gavin, Ray and Michael away.
** Subverted; he actually fell off the fortress, allowing Ray to take the tower, so he was forced to fight on foot. It succeeded.
* StealthExpert: Calls himself one. Can't live up to it, though.
* TemptingFate: "Aw, fuck. Where am I gonna land?" Turned out to be ''lava''.
* TheStoic: Weirdly enough, he has started to fall into this when Gavin burns something down; this is possibly a sign he's become fed up with it or just gotten used to it.
** Subverted. He still freaks out when his shit gets lit on fire without warning, like the library in ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 26.
* ThirdPersonPerson: Occasionally, but usually in ''VideoGame/{{Minecraft}}'', such as when he says, "Things are not going well for Geoff."
--> '''Gavin''': "It's possible that Geoff forgot what he had already done and put two [[[ItMakesSenseInContext towers of glass]]]."
--> '''Geoff''': "Nah, nah, Geoff had a lot of resources."
* TooDumbToLive: A variation during military school that the Darwin Awards would dub "survivor at risk". He tried huffing gas when he was told to siphon gas out of several lawnmowers, with the result that he went to hospital.
** In episode 29 of ''Let's Play Minecraft'', he deliberately barricades the front of their cave with TNT... which Gavin promptly sets on fire and detonates, with the result that Ray dies and he gets beaten to death by Michael while laughing.
* TranquilFury: [[DoubleSubversion Double Subverted]] in episode 9 of ''Let's Play Minecraft''; when Gavin kills him and steals his six gold blocks, [[ Geoff starts beating him up]] ''in real life'' - and not just tackling him to the ground; actually [[NoHoldsBarredBeatdown punching him]] to the point where it can be heard over the microphone. After this, while still ''very'' pissed off, Geoff rarely says a word until after he wins the round.
* {{Troll}}: Trust us. He has his moments.
** During ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 29, Ray tries to ride a mine-cart to the arena. Geoff deliberately gets in his way several times over, forcing Ray's cart back repeatedly. Later in the same episode, he puts a load of TNT in front of Ray when they're cornered by Gavin, which gets him killed.
** ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 30. When Jack kills a Spider, Geoff comes over to steal an experience point that Jack would've gotten instead.
** As the GameMaster in ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 37, he was the camera man, so he could fly around the map. He used it to scare Jack.
** As the GameMaster again in episode 41, he uses sprint to get to an area. When he happened to use sprint on the air in front of Gavin, the latter understandably didn't like the JumpScare.
** Geoff was given the gamepad for the ''VideoGame/NewSuperMarioBrosU'' Let's Play. He immediately used his block-spawning powers to actively hinder the team for the entire game. All while insisting that he's [[BlatantLies "just trying to help."]]
** In ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 47, he turned on invisibility and spent half the game haunting the players, spawning gravel, flint and chickens behind Jack, Ray and Michael.
** In GTA IV Races, during the last couple races, Geoff quickly abandons the race and rams into the other players instead.
** Similarly, in "Let's Play Forza 4: Car Soccer", Geoff starts off as the only player with a Hummer. As such, he simply rams into the Lads' players, destroying their cars and allowing the Gents to win.
** ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 99, full stop. Not only did he turn invisible and haunt Gavin and Michael by placing insulting signs behind them, but he became ''very'' accustomed to the "Teleport to Me" option...
* VitriolicBestBuds: With Gus, which carries over to why they play ThoseTwoGuys in ''Red vs. Blue''.
** Also with Gavin. For all the crap that the two put each other through, Geoff has likened their relationship to having a younger brother or an older kid.
* WhamLine: He drops a ''massive'' one in ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 37.
-->'''Gavin''': ''(after stacking the tower)'' "One, two, three, four! Suck my nut!"
-->'''Geoff''': "Gavin wins it for ''Ray'' by erecting the Tower on Ray's place!"
-->'''Gavin''': "[[{{Angrish}} AUUUUUUUGH!!!!]]"
-->'''Ray''': "YES! ''YES!!''"
-->'''Michael''': "You '''FUCKING''' idiot!"
-->'''Jack''': "''Goddammit!''"

[[folder:Gustavo "Gus" Sorola]]
!!Gustavo Raul "Gus" Sorola
[[caption-width-right:300:One Gus to rule them all...]]
The resident computer and technology whiz and the voice of Simmons for ''Red vs. Blue''. The butt of many jokes.
* TheAlcoholic: Right up there with Geoff.
-->"I'm already mostly liquor anyway. I've replaced all the water in my body with alcohol."
* BadassBeard: It's treated as such in the shorts, to the point that Burnie steals it in one of them.
* BadassBookworm: In Immersion. He turns out to be quite good with a pistol, despite having not even trained with them in earlier life. The entire point of said video was to prove that the average person would have trouble adjusting to weapons they weren't used to. He also trained with shotguns in earlier life.
** He also proves a reasonably competent gamer, as shown in The Gauntlet.
* BerserkButton: Gavin always wears his podcast headphones back to front, which always sets Gus off without fail.
** Also, [[VivaLasVegas Vegas]], apparently.
* BigOlEyebrows: Enough that his Animated Adventures avatar was eventually redrawn to include them.
* ClusterFBomb: Prone to these during the Podcast, especially when incensed about something.
* DeadpanSnarker: Often when around Gavin.
* DoWrongRight: When Gavin goes out of his way to do something stupid and trollish, such as when he gets Gus killed in The Gauntlet even when it's not helpful.
* FanDisservice: He ends up shirtless ''a lot'' during the shorts, and it is always nightmare inducing.
* HairTriggerTemper: He has a habit of getting quite annoyed (or just interrupting) if he hears stuff that he finds odd or stupid. Lampshaded during the live podcast at RTX when he begs the others to stop leaping on his stories, and they reply that he does it all the time.
* TheHyena: Often when Gavin does something stupid.
* HypocriticalHumour: He evicted Joe the Cat because he apparently stank, then started brewing beer ''on the podcast''. PlayedForLaughs.
** In general he regularly calls people out for shit that he himself does. Usually played for laughs.
* MeanCharacterNiceActor: In spite of being irritated easily, Gus is actually rather patient and polite, as opposed to Simmons who can get aggravated and mean when he wants to.
* MomentKiller: He saw Michael sending a heartwarming tweet to Lindsay, and immediately sent a reply with a walrus shouting "gay".
* OnlySaneMan: On the podcast.
* PerpetualFrowner: He's always drawn frowning in the Animated Adventures.
* PreacherMan: Okay, he doesn't practice ever, but he got technically ordained online by the Universal Life Church, giving him the authority to marry [[OfficialCouple Geoff and Griffon as well as Jack and Caiti]].
* TheSmartGuy: Knows his way around science and film production.
** TheLeader: Of the Podcast.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: After Burnie mentions Las Vegas one too many times.
* SociallyAwkwardHero: He's fine with the rest of the Rooster Teeth staff, but he admits that he's rather awkward interacting with people elsewhere.
* SophisticatedAsHell: Can rant about science and production with smart terms while cursing suddenly.
* SuperOCD: He doesn't have full-blown OCD, but he ''is'' very... particular about certain things. The crew once [[ drove him crazy by sending him instant messages with quote marks for a week]], and for a time [[ Gavin infuriated him by constantly putting his headphones on backwards]].
* VitriolicBestBuds: He and Burnie are very good friends but they insult each other regularly and get into vicious-sounding arguments over tiny things.

[[folder:Joel Heyman]]
!!Joel Pearce Heyman
An actor that used to act in Hollywood before joining the team, he and Matt went to college together and as a result have known each other for some time. You'd know him best as [[BreakoutCharacter Caboose]] from ''Red vs. Blue'' or an [[{{Flanderization}} exaggerated version of himself]] in the shorts.
* {{Adorkable}}: A CloudCuckoolander who loves ''Minecraft'' and has a large variety of bizarre anecdotes. How can you not love it?
* AlcoholInducedIdiocy: Giving out Jack's phone number at RTX 2013 might be a good example, and it was quite obvious Joel had drank a bit by that point. [[spoiler:It turns out the prank may have been prepared, as Joel switched his sim card so as not to give his REAL number out, but he still chose to do it under the influence.]]
* AmusingInjuries: Often in the shorts.
* ButtMonkey: Moreso on the podcast than in other times.
* CloudCuckoolander: He sometimes plays this up for laughs, but other times he [[ says]] (and [[ does]]) the weirdest stuff with no warning. Case in point, "If we were people..."
** A good example of this is when he joins the Achievement Hunter team in ''Let's Play Minecraft'' for an episode; the rest of the guys spend their time trying to get the "On A Rail" achievement, while Joel walks far away from the others and starts doing stuff on his own, refusing to tell the others where he is. Whenever the screen cuts to him, he's always doing something completely different, from mining to stacking blocks underneath himself to get up into the sky.
--> '''Jack''': "Joel's in the [[PrecisionFStrike fucking clouds!]]"
--> '''Joel''': ''(referring to a floating dirt block)'' "I wanna get to that block."
--> ''(everyone laughs)''
--> '''Michael''': "The block owes him money."
** Taken UpToEleven in the second season of ''The Gauntlet''.
* ConspiracyTheorist: PlayedForLaughs. He jokingly owes a problem that the podcast LP team have to "scheming Republican kittens". Burnie has said that if one of Joel's more serious theories turns out to be true and Joel declares "I was right", Burnie plans to say "yes, but you did not say ''this'' would happen", just to kill his mood.
* DeadpanSnarker: When he cameos in the Achievement Hunter series ''Fails of the Weak'', he has his moments of this.
--> '''Jack''': "Something's wrong with this Wraith, Joel. Can you tell what it is?"
--> '''Joel''': "Uh, it's on fire."[[note]]The actual problem was that the Wraith went flying a second later, but at the moment, [[DontExplainTheJoke the Wraith was in fact on fire and that was the only visible problem with it.]][[/note]]
** He also is apparently like this in real life; on the Rooster Teeth podcast, it's stated that when his [=UPS=] started beeping and Burnie went over to help out, Joel replied that he didn't want help, [[SarcasmMode he wanted this to last as long as possible.]]
** His commentary for the Gauntlet often extends into this, as best shown by [[ Left 4 Dead 2]].
* DisproportionateRetribution: His punishment to Gavin for insulting his ''{{VideoGame/Halo 2}}'' gametype was to ''flip Gavin off his chair'', then stack that chair and another one on top of him.
** At RTX 2013, Joel really wanted to sign his name onto the 15ft tall Tower of Pimps replica that Jack had lovingly made. Jack adamantly refused, not wishing for Joel to deface his work for the sake of a RunningGag. In retaliation, a drunk Joel gave out Jack's ''real phone number'' during a live podcast (to an audience of 400+) which was also being ''livestreamed online'' (to an audience of 4000+). It took a mere ten minutes for Jack's phone to blow up under the sheer volume of text messages and voicemails. [[spoiler:And the cherry on the cake? It was all a prank: Joel secretly switched Jack's SIM card for a fake one (with a new number) and gave ''that'' one out]].
* DissonantSerenity: He's incredibly calm about that FarCry video of him running people over with a boat.
* GeniusDitz: He may be strange, but he's actually pretty well read about economics.
* GenreSavvy[=/=]ProperlyParanoid: During Creator/AchievementHunter's ''Let's Play Minecraft'', he refused to give away his position for fear of Gavin's destructive {{Troll}}ing methods, and makes every effort to shut up whenever Burnie begins questioning him on the podcast.
* HiddenDepths: Unless you follow his twitter, you'd be surprised that he's so focused on economics.
* MeanCharacterNiceActor: His character in the shorts is sometimes stupid, snarky, and often very amoral. In real life, he's smart and very friendly, like your average person.
* MrFanservice: In the shorts he'd often get a scene where he wouldn't be wearing a shirt.
* NeverMyFault: His videos with Adam have him like this for comedic purposes. Whenever something bad happens he will constantly blame Adam, even if Adam had nothing to do with it.
* OlderThanTheyLook: He's actually in his early forties, though you wouldn't be blamed for saying he looks like he's in his early thirties.
* SelfDeprecation: He's not very positive towards himself.
* SophisticatedAsHell: While he doesn't exactly swear a lot, he does sometimes do this and randomly throw a swearword in, often while discussing economics.
* {{Squee}}: His reaction to meeting Chandler Riggs was this in spades, to the point that they made a ''Minecraft'' video together.
* {{Troll}}: He'll occasionally come into the Achievement Hunter office just to mess with them while they're filming.
** In ''The Gauntlet'', he pops up randomly during an episode introduction to distract Ali, the host.
** In the livestreamed RTX 2013 podcast, he gave Jack's phone number out. It got bombarded with so many voicemails and text messages that it went dead. [[spoiler:It was all a prank: Joel had secretly switched out the SIM card in Jack's phone and gave out the fake number]].
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: A self-inflicted and very literal version. He and his brother dumped a python in a pool, only to be traumatised when it pooped in the pool.
** He also has a slightly more justifiable one with [[PantheraAwesome panthers]], and while the fear isn't exactly crippling you'd have to be a stone-hearted bastard to not understand [[ why]].

[[folder:Jason Saldaņa]]
!!Jason Saldaņa
The voice actor for Tucker and resident pervert of the RT. It's unknown how he met up with Burnie and the others, but he has been at the company since the beginning. Married in October 2012.
* AwesomeYetImpractical: His car, if the shorts are to be believed.
* CloudCuckoolander: In the shorts.
* TheSixthRanger

These guys are the SpotlightStealingSquad who today make up the bulk of RT's content thanks to their LetsPlay videos. How much of a triple S, you ask? They made up for at least ''half'' of the size of this page, which got to the point that this page ended up on our list of Administrivia/OverlyLongPages. [[Characters/AchievementHunter Thus, they now have a character page of their own.]]

It should be noted that their leader is Geoff Ramsey (in case you haven't looked at his folder), who is staying on this page due to him being part of the Original Six above. Another frequent collaborator with this group, Kerry Shawcross, can be found in the "Other Staff Members" folder below. One of the main members, Gavin Free, became so Troperiffic [[Creator/GavinFree he got his own page]].

[[folder:Other Staff Members]]

The voice of Tex in ''Red vs. Blue'' and Glynda in ''RWBY'', also a producer on the latter. Tough and Texan.
* MeanCharacterNiceActor: ''Big time''. This got to the point where, at RTX 2011, she would get asked by fans [[GroinAttack to punch them in the balls]] as Tex would and did not understand why. She did it ''eventually'' but was still a bit confused as to why.
* TeamMom: Considers herself the "office mom", and has said in a livestream that she treats Kerry like an adopted son. She actually does have a son, but you wouldn't know about it as she doesn't talk about him that much.
* WomenAreWiser: The staff regards her to be more level headed, same as in ''[=RvB=]''.

!!Ben King
A British student who got noticed after he designed some RT themed applications.
* BritishAccents: He's from Nottingham in the north of England, so naturally it doesn't quite sound the same as Gavin's.
* ButtMonkey: The butt of many jokes when he makes several mistakes.
* PromotedFanboy

!!Miles Luna
The Lead Machinima animator, the voice for [[WebAnimation/{{RWBY}} Jaune Arc]], and a writer for ''Red vs. Blue'' and ''WebAnimation/{{RWBY}}''.
* AttentionDeficitOohShiny: He actually confirmed that he has ADHD in a recent podcast, and has not been taking medication for it recently if he is to be believed.
* {{Badass}}: He's a decent ''Halo'' player and ''Sonic'' player, as ''The Gauntlet'' has shown. In Episode 4 of ''The Gauntlet'', Miles manages to complete his ''Sonic'' game in the ''fastest time'' out of everyone, beating [[TheAce Ryan]] of all people, as well as Greg Miller from IGN who's also a Sonic pro.
* BadassBeard: When he grows his beard out.
* ButtMonkey: In ''The Gauntlet'', he gets forced to wear a suit of MJOLNIR armour... which would be awesome if anybody else had also been forced to, meaning he is sarcastically called an attention seeker.
* DeadpanSnarker: For all his crazy antics he does have a good deadpan sense of humour.
* FriendToAllLivingThings: [[ Just watch how upset he gets when Barbara murders the cricket he had been freaking her out with.]] Although this may be because she killed it under his desk. He also likes Joe the Cat and Rebel the dog.
* FunPersonified: Even more so [[ on caffeine]].
* GroinAttack: Once had Joe the Cat ''thrown onto his crotch''. [[ Watch here, at 8:20.]]
* LargeHam: From time to time.
* LetsGetDangerous: Miles spends his time before playing Sonic talking and lolling around. Cue the game starting and he gets serious, promptly kicks seven shades of blue out of both Gavin and Justine, the latter of whom started before he did, and gets a few good lines of trash talk in.
* MarshmallowHell: Was a victim of this in a strip club. It got really, '''really,''' weird.
* PermaStubble: Seems to be his favored look.
* TrashTalk: When iJustine asks "who plays [[Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog this crap]]?", his response is "[[InsultBackfire I do! Suck my balls!]]"
* {{Troll}}: Towards Brandon. The only reason that he voted to keep Joe in the office was to annoy Brandon.

!!Brandon Farmahini
A later employee who joined around the same time as Jack, he's yet another butt of many jokes.
* ButtMonkey: He frequently gets insulted on the podcast, and when he got a role in Red Vs Blue it was that of an IronButtmonkey.
* GeniusDitz: When they tried to get him to fail at science questions in the way that Ben failed at America questions, it backfired horribly and he proved himself rather knowledgeable.
* GenreBlind: Talking about politics on the podcast is generally not seen as a good thing to talk about, as it causes people who are otherwise good friends to get into big arguments. Brandon fails to see why on several occasions.
* TheKlutz: He's reportedly a bit clumsy, if some of the RTAA episodes with him are to be believed.
* TheLoad: During the Podcast playthrough of ''Payday 2'', none of the group are exactly good but Brandon is downed the most which forces them to keep reviving him.
* OneSteveLimit: Invoked by Burnie in the shorts, albeit on very ridiculous grounds.

!!Chris Demarais
A new-ish employee whose official job is unknown, although he is the creator of ''NatureTown''. ''Easily'' the guy with the strangest thought process at Rooster Teeth.
* AttentionDeficitOohShiny: During A Simple Walk into Mordor, Chris wastes time trying to scare some sheep and cows away without needing to.
* BlindWithoutEm: Has pretty bad vision without his glasses or contacts.
* ButtMonkey: The source of many funny stories (at his expense) on the podcast.
* CloudCuckoolander: He has shades of this, both in the shorts and real life. Just listen to him on podcast #216.
* ADayInTheLimelight: He and Adam are the two "behind-the-scenes" employees that get equal prominence as the well-known ones in ''Ten Little Roosters''.
* DeadpanSnarker
* {{Determinator}}: Throughout the entire of ''A Simple Walk Into Mordor'', he and Kerry both found themselves set back by blisters, strained muscles and general exhaustion... and still kept going.

!!Marshall Rimmer
* BadassBeard: A very distinct one.
* GuestStarPartyMember: Briefly for Achievement Hunter.

!!Joe the Cat
The resident TeamPet who Michael, Lindsay, Gavin and Miles are often seen hanging around with. Has a parody account on Twitter and two fan clubs on the website.
* CatsAreMean: Or so Gus claims. Matt seems to not like him either.
* CoolCat: For most of the cast.
* CutenessProximity: If he comes near anyone (except Gus or Matt), they will instantly stop what they're doing to at least pet him. Best seen on the podcast.
* FatCat: Seems a bit of an InformedAttribute, but he reportedly put on several pounds after he moved over to the building.
* GentlemanSnarker: Voiced as this in his appearance on the pets edition of RT Recap.
* HighOnCatnip: Played with. His reaction to a bag full of catnip was to tear a script and throw up. Burnie was not at all happy about the guys giving it to him, promptly calling Brandon a moron for doing so.
* HisNameReallyIsBarkeep: As reinforced by Burnie, his name is Joe the Cat, not Joe.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: As a cat, he has a tendency to run off, essentially forcing the others to find him every now and then.
* TheStoic: Played with. He seems to not mind being lifted up, and as shown on RT Podcast #185, you can even lift him up and swing him like a pendulum and he won't care- he'll just roll back into your lap and start joyfully meowing as you stroke his belly.
* TeamPet: Until Gus kicked him out.

A special effects expert who joined the team in time for ''Revelation'' onwards. Animates most of the Freelancer segments and directs ''WebAnimation/{{RWBY}}''.
* AllAsiansKnowMartialArts: Played for laughs when he appeared as a guest "martial arts instructor" in an episode of Immersion.
-->'''Monty:''' "As the Rooster Teeth [[TokenMinority resident Asian]], I am fully qualified to teach you in the [[BlackBeltInOrigami art of fruit self-defense]]."
* BadassArmfold: His profile picture.
** Seems to be his trademark pose, as shown in ''The Gauntlet'' and other appearances.
* CoolShades: Also on his profile picture.
* DeadpanSnarker
* {{Determinator}}: See forty seconds of that CGI sequence? That took him eight hours to do single-handedly, but he manages to keep doing it anyway.
* TheQuietOne: Less so than Nathan, but still notably. This is particularly true on the podcast, where he will say about ten words at a time and let everyone else say the rest, laughing and saying little else.
* RuleOfCool: His life creed, basically. Worth noting that he has no formal education in animation, he just does things the way he likes and it turns out awesome anyways.
* TheSmartGuy: He is an effects ''pro''.
* {{Workaholic}}: This is a [[ZigZaggingTrope Zig-Zagged Trope]]. When working, he is like a machine, but when he isn't he will fall asleep in his chair.

!!Barbara Dunkelman
The community manager of Rooster Teeth and voice for [[WebAnimation/{{RWBY}} Yang Xiao Long]]. Much like Gavin, she's an ascended fan that volunteered on numerous fan events and was eventually formally hired.
* {{Adorkable}}: If you hear her accounts of meeting Burnie for the first time, they're very sweet in a shy way.
* CanadaEh: She's originally from Canada. Usually downplayed, though she complains more about the Austin heat than the others and has a great affinity for Tim Horton's coffee. It becomes a joke in one of their Vine videos.
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: After the 2013 Horse Tournament, she seems to be this way as a gamer, as she proves to be a decent Sonic player.
* EpicFail: She is not very good at ''Halo''. Lampshaded when Gavin beat her in the Horse Tournament and Burnie and Joel just scoff, commenting "it's not hard".
** TookALevelInBadass: For the 2013 tournament, she did some practice to try and not do as badly. [[spoiler:She again gets eliminated in her first match, but to be fair that time she was up against Ray, and she managed to win three rounds and briefly overtake Ray. Considering Ray is quite possibly the best gamer out of everybody in the entire office, this is particularly impressive and Ray congratulates her for doing as well as she did]]. She also plays as part of the RT Team for ''The Gauntlet'' in Season 2, and their team comes second in the first game.
* MsFanservice: Sometimes, most notably in the "Siri Horror Movie" short, though she has occasionally shown contempt for people who think she exists just for this reason. Just watch her Animated Adventure episode to see how.
** There is a Vine video that was recorded which has Gavin and Burnie's X-ray glasses work, leaving a brief shot of her in a bra. Cue jokes on Youtube about how most guys (and a few girls) paused the video at that moment.
* OneOfTheBoys: While more girly than Lindsey, Barbara is very unladylike, especially with her taste in humour. Because of this, she had some issue with some of the older female friends and colleagues of Rooster Teeth who called her out for making thee jokes, [[DoubleStandard even though the boys made similar, and even identical, jokes that she was making]].
* PhraseCatcher: "Goddammit, Barb!" or just "Goddammit!" in response to [[LamePunReaction yet another bad pun]]. It even got made into a [[ T-shirt]]!
* PlatonicLifePartners: With Gavin. Neither of them are interested in dating and are just good friends.
* PungeonMaster: [[ She can find a pun for everything.]]
* {{Troll}}: She runs around and waxes Gavin's arms on a semi-regular basis, much to his pain.

!!Kerry Shawcross
One of the animators, motion capture proponents and a writer for ''WebAnimation/{{RWBY}}''. Also known as "Dragonface", he often joins in with the other Achievement Hunters in their Let's Plays.
* ButtMonkey: Gets treated like dirt by the Achievement Hunters when he plays with them, mostly when Gavin is not there to chew on. Case in point, see ShaggyDogStory below.
* DeadpanSnarker: While he barely says much, he falls into this when he talks.
* {{Determinator}}: Throughout the entire of ''A Simple Walk Into Mordor'', he and Chris both found themselves set back by blisters, strained muscles and general exhaustion... and still kept going.
* [[TheDragon The Minotaur:]] To Mad King Ryan, nickname aside.
* [[spoiler: OneWingedAngel: Takes the form of an anthropomorphic Edgar to slaughter the AH crew during Mad King Ryan.]]
* ShaggyDogStory: The infamous ''Let's Play VideoGame/GrandTheftAutoV'' episode "Enter the Dragonface" was apparently this: The AH Crew put him through a humiliating initiation tests, which would be more typical if happened to Gavin, putting him though some of the stuff they did for Let's Plays and ''Things to Do in GTA'', bring him into the Fake AH Crew group after succeeding... [[spoiler:then apparently kicking him out a few weeks later.]]
* SixthRanger: Has appeared in a few Achievement Hunter Let's Plays, often filling in for somebody who isn't present. That said, he will occasionally join when the whole team is present. He's filled in for Ryan in episode 74 of ''Let's Play Minecraft'', owing to Ryan being on paternity leave- specifically, his wife was giving birth ''there and then'' during the original filming. Today, it's really gotten to the point he's pretty much taken up Caleb's spot as a cast member for the AH crew.
** Really cranked up in Ryan's second reign as king, where Kerry acts as the Mad King's assistant, receives a house in Achievement City (a room under Michael's house), [[spoiler:and is the TrueFinalBoss of the Let's Play]].
** He's become a semi-regular in ''[[LetsPlay/AchievementHunterGrandTheftAutoSeries Let's Play Grand Theft Auto V]]'' [[spoiler:despite his removal from the Fake AH Crew]].
* TheQuietOne: To the point where a joke on the podcast is that Kerry has said one word: "president". He talks on the Podcast/InternetBox a little more, but apart from that he's relatively quiet.
** He is becoming less of this in ''Let's Play GTA V''.
* ThoseTwoGuys: With Chris.
* [[spoiler: TrueFinalBoss]]: [[spoiler:Of Mad King Ryan II.]]

!!Jordan Cwierz
The animator of ''Rooster Teeth Animated Adventures''. Worked in LA part time until December 2012, when he moved to Austin full time.
* BadassBeard: He almost never shaves it off.
* CharacterExaggeration: While the use of audio files restricts what he can do, he tends to exaggerate facial features, and he's not above editing the file to make it sound a little funnier as well. This is done for RuleOfFunny.
* TheCameo: He appeared as as a soldier operating a Scorpion turret in ''RvB''.
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: At gaming in general; he's done okay so far in The Gauntlet.
* SharpDressedMan: Most of the time.
* StylisticSuck: His art's barely a step above stick figures, but it's funnier that way.
* TheQuietOne: He's started speaking a bit more recently though.

!!Kara Eberle
The former Rooster Teeth office manager and receptionist and current RT Podcast director, who voices [[WebAnimation/{{RWBY}} Weiss Schnee]].
* AffectionateNickname: "Dave", as Gavin and Jack sometimes call her. It apparently started because Gavin can't pronounce "Kara" the way that Americans do at least.
* AnnoyingYoungerSibling: Gus considers her to behave much like this to him.
* ButtMonkey: Often on the receiving end of pranks whenever the staff gets bored.
* {{Demonization}}: She's actually pleasant, but the rest of the staff likes to describe her as a monster that turns everyone away from the Rooster Teeth building and knocks ice cream out of people's hands.
* GenkiGirl: She can be quite energetic and pleasant when not on the job, as seen from a few stories on the podcast.

!!Brian Behm
A graphics expert.

!!Adam "Grufftech" Baird

!!Adam "Gilby" Ellis
Tech Support guy.
* BadassBeard: It rivals [[Creator/AchievementHunter Jack Pattillo]]'s.

!!Juan Jose "JJ" Castillo (a.k.a. Jose Jones)
A video editor who formerly worked for Achievement Hunter. He officially left AH on January 21, 2014, but still works for Rooster Teeth in producing live-action content. He is currently the host of Screen Play and also voices Mercury Black on WebAnimation/{{RWBY}}.
* AlliterativeName
* MotorMouth
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: Onscreen, at least.
* {{Troll}}: Some of the more creative things he does when editing the ''Let's Build'' episodes can be for this purpose, if not out of sheer boredom.

!!Blaine Gibson
Former intern turned full-time employee in December 2013. Audio operator for ''The Rooster Teeth Podcast''.
* {{Fanservice}}: Appeared naked in the RT Short "Amazon Delivery Drone". Played a character which wore nothing but a harness and shorts in "The iBlade Trilogy" RT Shorts.
* {{Troll}}: Was the mastermind of the "Färt Hoofer" prank.

!!Ashley Jenkins
Head of Rooster Teeth's news network ''The Know'' and frequent contributor to ''The Patch''.
* SarcasmMode: "We're all really proud of you, Ryan." Said when he failed utterly in ''Mario Kart 8''.

!!Meg Turney
Presenter for ''The Know'' and cosplayer/model. Currently dating Gavin Free.
* CharacterTics: At the end of each Know video she waves and says "Heart you!"

!!Jon Risinger
A recently-hired graphic designer; he's the man behind most of the T-shirt designs and more recently, the RWBY Glamour poster. Also the host of On The Spot
* InSeriesNickname: The Achievement Hunters call him "The Rise-monger".

[[folder:Former employees]]

!!Luke [=McKay=]
The former artist of the comics, he worked with them for three years after his work was discovered by the staff. He did eventually stop working after Griffon left and he had to move elsewhere.
* CharacterTics: From Canada.

!!Griffon Ramsey
Geoff's wife who worked on ''Immersion'' and ''RT Shorts''.
* CloudCuckoolander: Initially she seems rather collected, but those who know her have joked that she's really like a female version of Gavin.
* BadassLabcoat: In ''Immersion''.
* GirlishPigtails: Wears these in ''RT Comics''. In real life she usually wears a ponytail. [[BaldOfAwesome Sometimes just the ponytail]].
* WomanChild: How she depicts herself in ''RT Comics''.
* YaoiFangirl: She was really looking forward to ''VideoGame/MassEffect3''...

!!Mike Kroon
A former intern at Rooster Teeth. After his internship was over, he spends most of his time hanging out with some other Rooster Teeth members on [[Podcast/InternetBox the Internet Box podcast]].
* ButtMonkey: His job consisted of fetching everyone coffee and doing dumb things (like jumping over his own leg) for the amusement of the regular staff.
* CanadaEh: From Canada.
* OneSteveLimit: He's frequently confused with Michael Jones, since the name "Mike" is short for "Michael."

!!Nathan Zellner
Another visual effects person and editor, Nathan is described as being both crazily tall and extremely quiet. Left the company in 2012 to pursue a career making films.
* OnlySaneMan: Definitely in the shorts.
* TheQuietOne: He doesn't say that much onscreen, instead opting to use signs.
* {{Workaholic}}

!!Ali Baker
The pink-haired hostess hired under contract for ''The Gauntlet'' Season 1.
* [[YouGottaHaveBlueHair You Gotta Have Pink Hair]]

[[folder: Frequent and notable collaborators]]

!!Shannon [=McCormick=]
A voice actor who you'd know best as the voice of Washington (or Riddler from ''VideoGame/DCUniverseOnline'') who also does temporary work every now and then.
* BaldOfAwesome: Joel jokes that he had a full head of hair before he met them.
* BerserkButton: According to Project Rant, he does not like onions. At all.
* ButtMonkey: Owing to his being the OnlySaneMan in the shorts.
* DeadpanSnarker: He gives off this vibe, and uses it well for Washington.
* OnlySaneMan: In the shorts, he's consistently this unlike the regular cast members.

!!Asaf Ronen
A voice actor and graphic designer, best recognised as the Counsellor from Red Vs Blue.
* CreepyMonotone: He uses this for the Counsellor.

!!Jon Graham
The creator of ArbyNTheChief and OneLifeRemaining, Jon decided he would like to meet up with the members of Rooster Teeth (partly to prove there is no rivalry between them and him, and partly for creativity reasons). He has previously collaborated with Luke.
* MeanCharacterNiceActor: Most definitely, but taken UpToEleven in "Pirates", where he is shown to have reportedly eaten Gus' entire fridge food stocks, clogged Gus' toilets and [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking not been bothered to go and see "On Stranger Tides"]]. In real life, he's a nice guy with the same day to day limits as the next man.
* OnlySaneMan: Definitely in the shorts.
* PermaStubble: In the videos we see at least.
* SelfDeprecation: He plays himself off as a loser and unrecognised nobody.

!!Dan Godwin
The voice of Donut. Dan can, to all extents and purposes, be considered an honorary member of Rooster Teeth. The reason he doesn't work there full-time is because he has a day job. Nevertheless, he's been there for years.

!!Nick Newton
One of Kerry and Chris' friends in New Zealand, becoming the GuestStarPartyMember for ''A Simple Walk Into Mordor''.
* DeadpanSnarker: To balance out Chris' more crazy tendencies.
* PromotedFanboy: He's actually an RT Fan, and got to befriend Kerry and Chris and guest star with them.

!!Daniel Gruchy
Gavin's partner in crime for ''WebVideo/TheSlowMoGuys'', which has earned him the status of honourary part-timer. Has worked with the crew for certain UK-based conventions. Member of the British Army.
* {{Adorkable}}: When he's not doing the Slow Mo Guys, he's much more nervous.
* {{Badass}}: He's actually in the army, though his role hasn't been specified. He's pretty good with air pistols and paintball guns, as shown by Slow Mo Guys, and also explains how a grenade works in one episode.
** BadassBeard
** BadassBookworm: More badass than Gavin (though much less bookworm, if Burnie is to be believed)
** BadassLabcoat: For the Slow Mo Guys, though as recent videos have shown he's wrecked one of its sleeves, covered it in paint and shredded it.
** SubmissiveBadass: Does whatever Gavin tells him to do, even though he's way tougher than Gavin. Michael assumes that if they knew each other as kids, Gavin would be that one small kid in the schoolyard that got away with mouthing off to everyone because he had a big friend protecting him.
* BrainsAndBrawn: The Brawn of the Slow Mo Guys, as he's the military technician who does the firearms and explosives work and probably throws a much meaner right-hook than Gavin can. Ray even wonders if Gavin fended off bullies by threatening to have Dan fight them. Though one has to wonder what he's done to make Burnie declare that even [[TheDitz Gavin]] looks bright compared to him...
** TookALevelInBadass: He apparently went from weak and nerdy to well-built, tanned and a little less nerdy, owing to his travels in South America.
