!!! The Christopher Street Connection
* {{Acrofatic}}: While not overly obese, Mace and Buff-E were both 5'6 200+pounders, on the very heavy end of cruiser weight(by WCW standards anyway) and they cruised around.
* ArchEnemy: Da Hit Squad, over all. The Carnage Crew in Ring of Honor specifically after they attacked Mace and Buff E with [[ImprobableWeaponUser hubcaps]].
* CoolMask: Japanese Pool Boy
* CreatorCameo: Fun Athletic Guy was the owner of RF video, ROH's intial distributor.
* DepravedHomosexual: Danger may have been a DepravedBisexual but if any of them found you attractive enough, they didn't care if you weren't interested in their advances. That said, they were [[WildCard Tweeners]] at worst.
* EnemyMine: Buff E and Mace with four Texas Wrestling Academy Students Hotstuff Hernandez, Don Juan and Fast Eddie against the Carnage Crew.
* GorgeousGeorge: Japanese Pool Boy in "The New Christopher Street Connection" was not as openly gay as the Mace and Buff-E([[MyFriendsAndZoidberg or Fun Athletic Guy or Jailbait]]). For that matter, Allison Danger's orientation was suspect.
* IronicName: Their finishing move was called "Gay Basher"
* NoIndoorVoice: Buff E rarely speaks softly and can easily make himself heard over the crowd without help form any electronic source.
* NonActionGuy: Fun Athletic Guy, for the most part
* PartsUnknown: The Village in NYC...okay, that's a real place, several real places!
* PintSizedPowerhouse: Mace and Buff-E were small enough but "Portuguese Princess" Ariel was only 5'2, yet
still on the heavier side for cruiser weight (by NWA women standards).
* TheSmurfettePrinciple: Initially, Allison Danger was the only woman not just in the group but in all of ROH. Simply Luscious joined the promotion soon after her though, with Ariel later joining the connection.

!!! Steve Corino
* TheAtoner: To hammer it home, his sponsor was Jimmy Jacobs.
* BlasphemousPraise: After disposing of Kevin Steen, the self proclaimed "Antichrist of pro wrestling", Corino called Matt Hardy, Steen's replacement, "The Jesus Christ of Professional Wrestling".
* CardCarryingVillain: Openly admitted to being evil during at ROH's eleventh anniversary and announced his intentions to destroy the company.
* CharlieBrownFromOuttaTown: You can call him Mr. Wrestling, but not Mr. Wrestling III. [[PartsUnknown We don't know where III's from.]]
* CombatCommentator: Served as one on and off since the beginning.
* CommutingOnABus: Mainly due to his commitments to Wrestling/ProWrestlingZero1 but also to their SUN offshoot and Wrestling/FightingOperaHustle. In 2015 he commuted not to Japan but to England for World Association of Wrestling.
* CouchGag: The reverse of Wrestling/BryanDanielson's couch gag, as Bobby Cruise gives him the introductions.
* CrassCanuck: Immediately noticeable Canadian accent, and an immediately noticeable temperament which defies the usual "nice" Canadian stereotype, even if he is usually laid back.
* DiscOneFinalBoss: To Homicide during his world title run in 2006.
* FinishingMove: Old School Explusion, Old School Suplex(cradle suplex with bridge), sliding lariat
* GeorgeJetsonJobSecurity: Has been let go, fired, banned and the like several times, often just to get reinstated in another position, sometimes immediately. At ''Glory By Honor XII'' he credited his continual employment to resident AmoralAttorney Veda Scott.
* {{Jerkass}}: And how. Even when he admits to being wrong, good luck on getting an actual apology
* LargeHam
* LeaningOnTheFourthWall
* MistakenNationality: He has to repeatedly be reminded that referee Dan Tanaka comes not from Japan, but from Boston.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: The fact that he motivated Wrestling/KevinSteen to turn on El Generico, just to watch as Generico took Steen out of ROH.
* NothingPersonal: Broke up with Simply Luscious because she was affiliated with Christopher Daniels, who was simply bad for business.
* OnlyInItForTheMoney: Stated that Wrestling/PaulHeyman had made him broke but blamed it all on the ROH fans who were all ECW viewers who gave up on the company as Corino saw it. So he came to squeeze as much money out of ROH as he could. This eventually lead to him forming "The Group" so he could set up even more money opportunities for himself and do whatever he wanted in the meantime. As ignoble as this all was, it did put The Group in direct opposition with the Prophecy, who were more concerned with the end of Ring of Honor as it was known, rather than how much they got paid in the long run.
* PetTheDog: After Wrestling/KevinSteen's departure, he did this to all of ROH's top prospects, except for Wrestling/MikeBennett.
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: Gave a devastating one to Green Lantern Fan at Fight of the Century.
* RedBaron: The King Of Old School, [[LegacyCharacter Mister Wrestling]]
* ReformedButRejected: By the fans, no less.
* SmugSnake: Insisted that he was the leader of the most ''eeevil'' professional wrestling and the one running SCUM.
* TheSnarkKnight: One of the things you could predict on any ROH show with Corino is a very caustic one-liner.
* ThenLetMeBeEvil: During his feud with Kevin Steen, who was against Corino's "redemption", Corino did eventually decide he'd have to turn back to evil to defeat Steen, which played right into Steen's hands, but then "evil" Corino [[GoneHorriblyRight became too much for him to handle]].
* VillainousBSOD: Goes hand-in-hand with MyGodWhatHaveIDone.
* WrestlingFamily: His sister is Allison Danger, who is married to Ares. His son Colby competes in various independent promotions.

!!! Christopher Daniels (Christopher Daniel Covell) [2002-2004] [2005-2007] [2010-2011] [2014-2019] [2022] [2023-present]
See [[Wrestling/ChristopherDaniels his page]] for tropes dedicated to him.

!!! Simply Luscious
* EvilerThanThou: Persephone may have been a cheat but still showed some respect for the code. Luscious quickly established herself as worse when she showed none and gave Persephone and long time enemy Alexis Laree back to back Death Valley Drivers after their match
* PerkyFemaleMinion: Of The Prophecy and Steve Corino's group.
* PetTheDog: She may have wanted to knock over the foundations of Ring of Honor but she did genuinely love Steve Corino and cried when he broke up with her, for being bad for business.
* TheRival: Allison Danger, who Christopher Daniels took on as her replacement when she went running off to win back the affection of Steve Corino, Allison Danger's brother. To a lesser extent, Lucy and Tracy Brooks of the Second City Saints.
* ShoutOut: She likes to warm up the band for that sweet chin music. She is a graduate from a Wrestling/ShawnMichaels school after all.

!!! Wrestling/AJStyles

!!! The Amazing Red
* ArtisticLicenseMartialArts: A more purposeful example than most, his flips were negatively contrasted against Low Ki's kicks, which caught him every time when they fought.
* BashBrothers: With Alexis Laree, AJ Styles and the Spanish Announce Team
* FinishingMove: Flipping power bomb which came to be known as ''Code Red''
* FragileSpeedster: Yeah, Red's not one to damage sponge for those hour long main events, but he's usually good enough at avoiding damage that he does not have to
%%* TheRival: Paul London
* TheStoic: He's not the kind of guy to talk about how he's going to beat you up or run after you backstage, that's what his partners are for.

!!! [[Wrestling/MickieJames Alexis Laree]]

!!! [[Wrestling/LondonAndKendrick Paul London]]

!!! Wrestling/BryanDanielson

!!! [[Wrestling/DaffneyUnger Lucy Furr]]

!!! Wrestling/JayLethal

!!! [[Wrestling/NelsonErazo Homicide]]

!!! Wrestling/LowKi

!!! Xavier
* BrooklynRage: Though he's from Queens
* DirtyCoward: A whole new ranking system was introduced just to eliminate his excuses for avoiding challengers as ROH Champion.
* DragonInChief: He didn't lead the Prophecy, but he was the champ and thus the one to beat.
* FinishingMove: 450° Splash (450 Degrees of Fear), Hangman's Neckbreaker (X-Breaker) and Sitdown Pumphandle Facebuster (Kiss Your X Goodbye).
* SignatureMove: Rolling Maya Suplexes, as instead of bridging into the pin he stands back up and dead lifts for another. Also, cartwheel elbow, Split-Legged Sitdown Slam and X-Slam (Torture Rack into Inverted Samoan Drop).
* YouFightLikeACow: He thinks he can talk and wrestle at the same time, and does pretty well, actually.

!!! Dan Maff
* {{Crossover}}
** One of the guys against IWA Puerto Rico.
** Defended the JAPW Heavyweight Title against Slyk Wagner Brown at ''Collision Course''
* DroppedABridgeOnHim: Written out of ROH due to a "car accident." Possibly related to real life problems between him and Homicide, which have since been settled.
* PowerTrio: La Familia with KC Blade and EC Negro, but mostly in JAPW
* RedBaron: The Boricua Beast
* SpicyLatina: Proud Puerto Rican, which probably made his mischief in IWA PR all the more annoying.
* TagTeam: Da Hit Squad with Monsta Mack

!!! B.J. Whitmer
* CrowdChant: "BJ Wiener", "Please Retire" as Decade wound down.
* {{Crossover}}: One of the ROH rogues who went and stormed IWA Puerto Rico
* DemotedToExtra: Out of all of Decade, he's the probably the most sympathetic, at least when it comes to motivation, as he really has been brushed aside in favor of new comers and wrestlers who left for larger promotions. As far as attitude though, he quickly became the least sympathetic by focusing his efforts on another loyal wrestler who was demoted to extra, being the most extreme example of MotiveDecay in the whole group.
* {{Determinator}}: It is not hard to feel for Jacobs when Lacey keeps ordering him to "take out Whitmer". Jimmy Jacobs tried just about everything conceivable, it just wasn't enough.
* DroppedABridgeOnHim - Attacked by the Hangmen 3 after objecting to the Sweet 'n Sour hostile takeover. However, this appeared in clip form on the ''Take No Prisoners'' PPV.
* EnemyMine: With Rhett Titus against Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team, which did not work out, and lead to he and Titus having an "I Quit" match at ''Boarder Wars''.
* EvilMentor
** Kelly Klein came to ROH to reinvent herself and Whitmer couldn't pass up the opportunity to inject a little bit of himself into the process. It borders between this and PsychoSupporter, as Whitmer became very pleased with the outcome and rabid to make everyone else acknowledge her greatness
** He takes credit for Adam Page being in Bullet Club, as even though Page turned on him Whitmer insists it was the mark he left on page that got Bullet Club's interest.
** He's also followed around and preceded "The Punishment" Damian Martinez in an attempt to make him a successor, but Martinez ended up rejecting him.
* FacialMarkings: An X on his forehead after aligning with Kevin Sullivan, who lead the audience to believe he'd be in the corner of Whitmer's enemy, Steve Corino.
* FireForgedFriends: Became less antagonistic toward CM Punk during a series with the Second City Saints with Jacobs for the tag titles, leading to them shaking hands at ''ROH The Final Showdown''.
* GenreSavvy: He made it clear that in ROH, the wrestlers do see the events recorded on the show, even if they are not around to see them in person. This came back to bite him in the case of CM Punk.
* HonorBeforeReason: He tried to get between Jimmy Jacobs's quest to earn the love of Lacey. Not only did he lose the blow-off cage match in decisive fashion, it started a very long losing streak that didn't end until he joined the Hangmen 3.
* MadeOfIron: Charlie Haas gave him a belly to belly superplex that sent him head first through a table. Still wrestling? We're surprised the man is still alive.
* MisplacedRetribution: Assaulting Lucy because CM Punk was not around
* NoSell: Dropkicks from ACH even
* RealMenWearPink: A symptom of prolonged Jimmy Jacobs exposure it seems
* RedemptionDemotion: Following his ejection from Lacey's Angels and (eventual) defeat at the hands of her and Jimmy Jacobs.
* RevengeByProxy: Getting his revenge on CM Punk for knocking him out in a match by knocking out Punk's girlfriend
* SignatureMove: Swinging fisherman suplex into a bridging fisherman's suplex.
* SpitefulSpit: After backing out of the ring, away form Adam Page at ''Super Card Of Honor X'', he spat up into Page's face.
* TheWorfEffect: The fall guy during the CZW Invasion, he ended up being ''captured and tortured'' by the CZW roster and company owner John Zandig

!!! Wrestling/BobbyFish

!!! Kory Chavis
* CombinationAttack: The Greater Good(throwing the opponent up and catching him with neck breaker and power bomb at the same time) and Project Mayhem (lariat+chop block) with Jon Davis.
* CommutingOnABus: He lost several "Do Or Die" matches but still appeared periodically due to establishing himself in Full Impact Pro. His longest stretch was after forming the Dark City Fight Club with Jon Davis
* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: His singles run as Rainman, where he was associated the Blackout.
* GamebreakingInjury: Even though they squashed Grizzly Redwood and Andy Ridge The Dark City Fight Club's momentum slowed due to him dislocating four bones while destroying the ligaments and tendons of his wrist.
* RedBaron: The Soul Assassin

!!! Wrestling/AustinAries

!!! Mike Mondo
* {{Determinator}}: Persists on despite constant mocking from the crowd and nagging injuries
* PutOnABus: Defeated Seth Skyfire in an OVW tryout match and wasn't seen again for six years.
* PuttingTheBandBackTogether: The [=RoHbots=] refuse to let go of the fact Mondo was a member of the Spirit Squad, so in 2015, "Mikey" got back with Kenny and Johnny to give them The Spirit Squad. Unfortunately for Mondo, it still wasn't enough to defeat The Addiction.

!!! Claudio Castagnoli [2005–2011] [2022-present]

!!! Wrestling/ShawnDaivari 2004, 2010

!!! Wrestling/SaraDelRey

!!! [[Wrestling/HunterJohnston Delirious]]

!!! Petey Williams
* DistaffCounterpart: Jennifer Blake, who even calls her finishing move the "Dynamite Destroyer"
* FinishingMove: A flipping piledriver he calls the Canadian Destroyer, also, [[Wrestling/BretHart the sharpshooter]].
* NoSell: Kicked out of his own finishing move at one when it was done by Austin Aries at ''Gold Rush''.

!!! Jack Evans
* {{Anticlimax}}: Subverted at ''Nowhere To Run'' in 2005. Roderick Strong had set him up for the elevate double stomp only for Evans to miss on purpose and yell "[[CheapHeat Chicago isn't worth it!]]" but this action almost cost them the match, so they hit the move for real at the next opportunity.
* HostileShowTakeover: ROH Generation Next, May 22, 2004, started with them taking out the teams for the opening match, the Ring Crew Express (Dunn and Marcos), the Christopher Street Connection (Buff-E and MACE) and the Special K team of Izzy and Dixie, and generally making themselves as much the focus of attention as possible that night.
* {{Keet}}: Alex Shelley can make him hop on one leg and do back flips off that same leg on command.
* PrettyFlyForAWhiteGuy: The Prince Of Parkland, when's his dew rag gonna fall off?
* PutOnABus
* UrExample: Believed to be the first wrestler to do two full rotations on a moonsault, though Ricochet's become better known for the move

!!! The Lovely Lacey
* BeautyIsNeverTarnished: {{Enforced|trope}}, she got plastic surgery after Whitmer hit her with Jacob's railroad spike
* CatFight: With Becky Bayless during their Special K days.
* MeanBoss: To Jimmy Jacobs, whom she found disgusting and constantly talked down to...until he finally beat BJ Whitmer. Then they had sex, she was head over heels for him and Jacobs was the mean boss.
* ProperLady: The first lady of ROH. She may have been predated in the company someone but they weren't ''ladies'' were they?
* {{Revenge}}: The reason she initially kept Jacobs around, to get revenge on BJ Whitmer, then on Colt Cabana.
* TagTeam
** The Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew with Radiant Rain, who incidentally was a member of the FIP Age Of The Fall.
** Lacey's Angels was initially about getting back the Tag Team Title belts Special K lost before MotiveDecay set in.
* TheStoner: As part of Special K
* YouHaveFailedMe: Why she fired Izzy and Deranged, then replaced them with Jacobs and Whitmer, who beat them.

!!! Wrestling/MattHardy

!!! James Gibson
* ForgotFlandersCouldDoThat: For years he relied on being a superior mat technician to win most of his matches, but in ROH, where every other wrestler would qualify as such in most other promotions that didn't workout so well. Then came the moonsaults...
* PutOnABus: Back to Wrestling/{{WWE}}.
* RedemptionQuest: His time in ROH was one. He didn't care which title he won, but he ''needed'' to be a champion again, any belt would do.
* {{Sidekick}}: His "trainer" Danny Ray

!!! Wrestling/NigelMcGuinness

!!! Wrestling/MsChif

!!! Adam Pearce
* TheBusCameBack: He would appear at "Showdown In The Sun" to be interviewed by Jim Cornette one night after successfully defending the Wrestling/{{N|ationalWrestlingAlliance}}WA World Championship belt against Adam Cole at NWA Ring Warriors. This led to an impromptu non-title rematch between the two, the first time ROH fans got to see Pearce wrestle in an ROH ring in quite a while. (ROH was supposed to show Bruce Santee, the Ring Warriors Grand Champion but that was moved to a dark match, for whatever reason)
* DiabolusExMachina: "Wrestling/{{Dusty|Rhodes}} Finish" was chanted after he retained the NWA World Title due to Wrestling/NigelMcGuinness tossing him over the top rope.
* DirtyCoward: Earn chants of "Pussy!" as he ran from Homicide
* EnemyMine: Defended Jim Cornette from Necro Butcher during the CZW feud.
* PutOnABus: When he became head booker in 2008. Bussed out for real once Delirious took over.
* RedBaron: "Scrap Iron", but he'd rather you call him scrap daddy.
* SmallNameBigEgo
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: Gave one about BJ Whitmer for being put out with an injury by Jimmy Jacobs and losing the first match of Ring of Honor's very first pay per view.
!!! Wrestling/KentaKobashi
!!! Wrestling/{{KENTA|Kobayashi}}
!!! Jimmy Rave
* TheBusCameBack: Rave returned in December 2011 to challenge Wrestling/TommasoCiampa at ''Final Battle''.
* CouchGag - As part of the Embassy, Rave received a shower of toilet paper in lieu of streamers.
* CrowdSong
** Back when he was supposed to be a baby face in 2004, Jimmy Rave was on a losing streak and the crowds were singing about how he was going to be fired.
** Threatened to not wrestle in Chicago over the fact the fans were making melodies about him to dying by the hand of CM Punk. Nana convinced him to go forward with the match and make the fans respect him.
* {{Determinator}}: Kept wrestling with a broken jaw.
* FinishingMove: A double under hook face buster called Greetings from Ghana
* HumiliationConga: Rave endured this frequently:
** 2005: From the Wrestling/CMPunk feud to the rekindled Wrestling/AJStyles one, and against Generation Next, the Embassy were thorns in everyone's sides all throughout 05. However, everything unraveled for them with Steel Cage Warfare. Rave got it the worst when Roderick Strong dropped him with backbreaker after backbreaker after backbreaker, forcing him to tap out to the Stronghold minutes later. Then, in a [[LaserGuidedKarma beautiful role reversal]], Jade Chung used RAVE as her footstool.
** 2007: Just when Rave was getting himself back on track after Prince Nana disbands the Embassy, Homicide beats him in a World Title match where Rave used the previously banned Rave Clash. The next night, he ends up in a match with Wrestling/SamoaJoe in lieu of [[FateWorseThanDeath suspension.]] Joe dismantles him easily. How could it get worse? Wrestling/NigelMcGuinness ends the feud in Liverpool by breaking Rave's jaw with the rebound lariat. When he came back, Wrestling/BryanDanielson said he should've beaten Rave in a shorter time than he did back at the 4th Anniversary Show. The 4th Anniversary Show title match went 32; the rematch at A Fight at the Roxbury went only 10. Then, for some odd reason, he would get another World Title match at Driven against Takeshi Morishima. Morishima dismantled him in 4 minutes.
* IrrationalHatred: He hates toilet paper more than anything else in the world, to the point he punched a hole in a wall and entered a fight without honor against Nigel [=McGuinness=] for throwing some at him.
* PutOnABus: Shortly before Necro Butcher became the Crown Jewel of the Embassy, due to real life problems.
* RedBaron: "The Crown Jewel of the Embassy"
* SmugSnake: Jimmy Rave invented the Styles clash and forced AJ to stop using it in Ring of Honor (no, AJ invented it and Rave's been banned from using the move)
* SmallNameBigEgo

!!! Rhett Titus
* CharlieBrownFromOuttaTown: [[spoiler:As "The Romantic Touch."]]
* CrowdChant: "Hepatitis!" ([[DiggingYourselfDeeper That hasn't been proven!]])
* DemotedToExtra: After Kenny King left, eventually becoming another body in SCUM.
* EyeTake: He gets a little unhinged in the ring when matches don't end quickly, which even on ROH TV, isn't too often. The matches ending quickly that is, his crazy eyes, get used to them.
* HandsomeLech: (Apparently) can have any woman he wants and his wants are not easily satisfied
* InTheHood: During the All Night Express Entrance.
* {{Jerkass}}: As a Heel.
* LargeHam: Kenny King often has to bring him down during promos when he starts putting in a lot of emphasis where it isn't needed.
* OnlySaneMan: As a member of The Foundation.
* ReallyGetsAround
* RedBaron: "Addicted to Love", "The Secretary of Shoulders" after forming "The Cabinet", and currently "The Professional".
* SmallNameBigEgo
* SuckMyRose: The implications are romantic, since he's usually offering them to those he courts.
* TagTeam: The All-Night Express, with Kenny King. Tracy Williams, as part of The Foundation.
* TakeThat: Pandering to those who aren't fans of The Young Bucks during ANX's "make wrestling great again" campaign "commercials".
* TokenGoodTeammate: When he was stripped of his tag team title as a result of Kenny King's departure, Titus tried teaming with former champion Charlie Haas but protested to the idea of Shelton Benjamin running interference for them during matches. When Titus's since of honor lead to he and Haas failing to regain the tag team titles, Haas and Benjamin beat up Titus and went back to teaming with each other.
* TookALevelInBadass
** From a common punch line more concerned with girls than matches to an obsessive competitor and workhorse of the tag team division.
** The Cabinet to The Rebellion has done it again
* VirginShaming: But let's be fair, his confession was under duress!

!!! Ricky Reyes
* SmashTheSymbol: After destroying Davey Andrews at the 2005 "Final Battle", he destroyed the rookie's "Top of the Class" trophy.
* PutOnABus

!!! Rocky Romero
* BigWordShout: "FOREVER!" (AND EVER!)
* CombinationAttack
** Alex Koslov would hold him as a battering ram while he kicked people.
** A basement drop kick from the top turnbuckle after a Beretta stun gun
* DoItYourselfThemeTune: "Hooligans Never Say Die" and "RPG Vice"
* EyePatchOfPower: In Forever Hooligans
* GimmickMatches: Roppongi Vice(himself and Beretta) actually defeated reDRagon in an instant reward proving grounds match but then failed to with the world tag team titles belts.
* GuestFighter: Originally part of the roster, he later becomes this in recent ROH events after joining Wrestling/NewJapanProWrestling when needed.
* LegacyCharacter: He was Black Tiger #4
* PowerTrio: With the Tempura Boys to form Roppongi 3K.
* PutOnABus: TheBusCameBack several times since his first departure, such as one half of Forever Hooligans with Alex Koslov.
* ShoutOut: He suggesting joining up with Wrestling/ChuckTaylor and calling him and Berretta The Film/ThreeAmigos.
* {{Spicy Latin|a}}o: Albeit, less likely to snap from happy and easy going to murderous rage than, say, Homicide.
* StoneWall: He'll tell you otherwise but out brawling and out muscling his opponents really isn't his approach so much as out wrestling, evading, tricking and countering them at every turn.

!!! Wrestling/RoderickStrong

!!! Shingo Takagi
* TheArtifact: Inexplicably dropped the Takagi from his name, or not. Those watching Dragon Gate knew he was trying to join Crazy MAX and the name change to SHINGO was a requirement, but the group disbanded before he could be officially inducted.
* EightiesHair: A shameless mullet.
* LightningBruiser: And surprisingly for someone sitting comfortably in the light heavyweight range, he's a lot more bruiser than lightning, being able to lift, slam and throw much larger opponents.
!!! [[Wrestling/EvanBourne Matt Sydal]]

!!! Grizzly Redwood
* BrokenPedestal: He went from sharing beard sizes with the Necro Butcher to watching him sell out to the Embassy.
* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: Originally known in ROH as the Mitch Franklin, the clean shaven CM Punk trainee who despite a slow start, being squashed by Ricky Reyes, briefly held the top of the class trophy.
* MooseAndMapleSyrup: A rare instance where the traditional version is played straight instead of the professional wrestling version; he's a lumberjack, the world's littlest lumberjack, billed from the Yukon Territory.
* PutOnABus: Played a big part in the strangeness surrounding Charlie Haas' departure, and was sent out right along with him. He's since retired though has done some appearances two years afterwards around the independent circuit.
* TimePassageBeard: His facial hair got progressively longer over the years, until it resulted on one of these, which has since been shaved off.

!!! Caprice Coleman
* CombatCommentator: Sometimes, he was accused of not doing his homework the first time. He got to throw the accusation back at his partners upon Dalton Castle's arrival. He later takes the role for real.
* CombinationAttack: Back to back slingshot sentons with Cedric Alexander. He'll also hold a foe on his shoulder, whom Alexander with double stomp on the head before he death valley drives them. Then he may scoop slam someone onto Cedric's waiting knees.
* DoItYourselfThemeTune: "More Than A Conqueror"
* EarlyBirdCameo: First showed up working against Ring of Honor, representing NWA Wildside with Delirious and Rainman while Sydal was representing IWA Mid-South (Jimmy Jacobs won for ROH). Matt Sydal and Delirious were somewhat regular to ROH at that point but Coleman would not get into a long term ROH deal for years.
* EccentricMentor: Trained by Matt and Jeff Hardy
* EvilLaugh: Subverted, as Coleman is one of the nicest guys they've ever had, Cabinet aside. All the same, his laugh can be really unsettling.
* FinishingMove: The Ax Kick and Falcon Arrow
* GenreSavvy: There are a lot of fancy reversals, but not everyone's athletic enough to keep their balance without a hold to reverse, so Coleman simply lets go and applies another.
* GreenEyedMonster: When Ring of Honor evaluated Pepper Parks and Samson Walker by putting them in matches with Coleman, Coleman got paranoid about ROH trying to replace him.
* InkSuitActor: As "The Anointed One" in a comic book. Steve Corino scoffed at the suggestion Caprice was a "good guy".
* NonIndicativeName: His "no hands" huricanrana is on the fact he doesn't use his own hands. He usually ends up catching the opponent's arms\hands on his knees\shins while pulling them off the top rope though.
* NothingPersonal: When Cedric Alexander lamented that their win against Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team was tainted and wished for a clean finish against the Briscoes, Coleman told everyone to leave their personal issues at home because no one wanted to deal with drama in the factory.
* ReligiousBruiser: The Bible has been an inspiration for a lot of his material. However, sometimes narcissism gets the better of him.
* {{Revenge}}: Decided to take on Decade, Jimmy Jacobs in particular, for injuring Cedric Alexander's shoulder, but only after Silas Young backed out of their match at ''War Of The Worlds''.
* SignatureMove: Triple rolling northern lights suplex.
* TagTeam: The C&C Wrestle Factory with Cedric Alexander.
* TheResenter
** He wasn't happy to see his popularity has surpassed by Dalton Castle's, to the point he joined ANX in their campaign to make wrestling great again as their "minister of information".
** He wasn't too happy with Bullet Club continuing to get pay per view spots over The Cabinet even after the departures of AJ Styles, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson, especially not when it was Tanga Roa and Tama Tonga, who he believes to be far inferior to [[Wrestling/{{Meng}} their father.]]
* WarriorPoet: His promos have gotten "Amen" from Cedric and he's even sung!

!!! Brent Albright
* HiredGuns: The OnlyInItForTheMoney variety.
* PutOnABus
* RedBaron: The "head executioner" of Hangmen 3

!!! [[Wrestling/JimmyWangYang Jimmy Yang]]

!!! Naruki Doi
* TagTeam: Speed Muscle with Masato Yoshino was his longer running one, though they failed to win the ROH Tag Team Titles. Switching partners to CIMA brought no more success on that front. Had to join up with SHINGO to finally get the belts.

!!! Kenny King
* TheCameo: Since his daughter stared on the competition reality show ''The Bachelorette''
* {{Expy}}: Of Shelton Benjamin, no less.
* FinishingMove: A block buster from the top rope while Rhett Titus does a power bomb (One Night Stand)
* JerkJock
* LightningBruiser: Fully capable of catching a flying Cedric Alexander out of the air.
* MrFanservice: He even moonlights as a Chippendale's Dancer
* ParodyCommercial: ANX's 2016 campaign to make wrestling great again.
* RedBaron: "Chairman Of Championships" in "The Cabinet"
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: Left for [[Wrestling/ImpactWrestling TNA]] (while one-half of the Tag Champs, no less). He returned insisting that All Night Express were the linear tag team champions only beaten by bureaucracy when Addiction were also claiming to still be the champions, in reference to the fact ROH immediately stripped King and Titus of the belts as soon as word got out he was on TNA television.
* TagTeam: The All-Night Express, with Rhett Titus. The YRR with Jason Blade... which was a full on stable in Full Impact Pro, where Blade was just a minion.
* TokenMinority: He was the token Afrodescent member of the All-Hispanic stable La Facción Ingobernable.

!!! [[Wrestling/SethRollins Tyler Black]] (Colby Lopez)

!!! Michael Elgin
* BaitAndSwitch: Truth Martini paid Wrestling/DevonStorm to bail from a match with Grizzly Redwood so Elgin could go to work on him.
* CharlesAtlasSuperPower: Dead lifting and dropping Kevin Steen multiple times in succession, once starting from a sitting position after a corner cannon ball! His workout involves benching 500 lbs and squating 700.
* CourteousCanadian: Okay, not quite as nice as the stereotype but still nicer than a lot of ROH guys
* CrowdChant: "Sleeping On The Couch", "She Wears The Pants", "Please Don't Divorce" at "A Night Of Hoopla"
* DancingIsSeriousBusiness: Seeing [=TaDarius=] Thomas was a UsefulNotes/{{capoeira}} practitioner, he decided during a match to try and out break dance him.
* DareToBeBadass: Before ''Supercard Of Honor VII'' Elgin boasted to have become stronger, faster and more focused that he had since the previous year's event demanded that Jay Lethal find a way to do the same by the time they had their match. Unfortunately it'd be a couple years before Elgin was successful in bringing out the Jay Lethal he wanted.
* FinishingMove: Revolution Bomb
* GenreSavvy: Picked up the savvy to avoid topes with minimal effort
* GreenEyedMonster: [=MsChif=] had been wrestling men pretty much since the first day of his career, but it's a subject he got very touchy about after he started dating her. Doesn't help that ''she'' doesn't like to see him doing pretty much anything with another woman, though his international success since they met means he doesn't get booked against them very often, excepting when former stablemate Truth Martini was [[TheGadfly match maker]].
* GrievousHarmWithABody: Forcing AJ Styles to spear Kazuchika Okada
* HopeBringer: ''Glory by Honor XI'' was titled "The Unbreakable Hope" due to him challenging Steen for the world title after having previously [[FoeTossingCharge powered through]] the simultaneous attempt of SCUM and The House Of Truth to keep him away. He fell short during the match though, leaving hope to turn to El Generico.
* ImplacableMan
** He will block chair shots with his hands, something normally only done by much larger men
** At the 2016 ''Death Before Dishonor'' Elgin held Frankie Kazarian up for a delayed vertical suplex when Christopher Daniels kicked him in the gut, causing Elgin to almost drop Kazarian but then pick him right back up. Daniels then pulled Kazarian down but Elgin ended up suplexing both of them at once.
* LightningBruiser: More so on the "bruiser".
* RedBaron: "Canadian Crazy Horse", "Unbreakable", "Unreal".
* SignatureMove: Power bomb, turnbuckle bomb, crippler cross face. He's also borrowed the green mist through mouth to mouth with his wife, though he's not particularly good at using it, almost managing to get it in his own eyes.
* SquashMatch: On ROH TV, Truth Martini would request Elgin get two "[[{{jobber}} opponents]]" at a time just to make his point. Sometimes they did put up a decent fight though.
* StealthPun: ''Glory By Honor XI'', where he challenged Steen for the title had the subtitle "The Unbreakable Hope". It took place in Mississauga Ontario, aka the "Great White North".
* NobleTopEnforcer: To Truth Martini and Roderick Strong, when he was still a member of the House of Truth.
* NothingPersonal: Toward Adam Cole, after losing to him in the finals to become the next Ring of Honor World Champion at ''Death Before Dishonor'', and even more so toward Mike Bennett, Maria Kanellis and Matt Hardy, who were not even contenders. You can imagine that didn't last.
* PutOnABus: Stranded in Canada, during his world title reign no less, due to a visa issue.
* TagLine: Fear The Mullet...until Adam Cole removed it.
* TournamentArc: The first man to win "Survival Of The Fittest" twice.
* WorthyOpponent: Truth Martini didn't appreciate Elgin shaking Fit Finlay's hand after ''Hostage Crisis''.
* WouldntHitAGirl: He's grabbed Kanellis and by the hair and shaken her, but that's all he's managed to do. He was also willing to put away Athena, having blamed recent relationship drama on her, but when he finally got his hands on her he tried to hand her over to Whitmer.
* YouHaveFailedMe: Before SCUM, Wrestling/KevinSteen initially worked with the House of Truth when he returned to Ring of Honor and when he was kicked out of SCUM, he went back to Elgin for help. But in a resulting tag match, Wrestling/JimmyJacobs pinned Steen and Elgin decided he was done with him.

!!! Davey Richards
* ButtMonkey: Made into one by Roderick Strong and Rocky Romero.
* CallBack: At ''Supercard Of Honor II'' he called back to ''Nowhere To Run'' when he teased kicking Jack Evans, who had since been a HeelFaceTurn, only to pull back and call the crowd unworthy.
* CrowdChant: "You got served!" at ''Supercard Of Honor II'', as he had no answer for the moves of Jack Evans.
* DancingIsSeriousBusiness: Seeing that Truth Martini put a "pants off dance off" on ''ROH A Night Of Hoopla'', Richards decided the only way to properly defend the honor of the wrestlers that came before him was to enter the contest himself and out dance Val Malone, Seleziya Sparx ''and'' Scarlett Bordeaux. And he did it without removing his pants (well, the crowd asked Richards to remove them but when he actually started removing them the chant changed to "keep them on").
* {{Determinator}}: He's notorious for not selling and the "delayed sell" in order to keep attacking.
* DistressedDude: The House Of Truth were really angry when he defeated Roderick Strong and Michael Elgin back to back on at double shot ''Showdown In The Sun''. They made it known at the next ROH event when they bum rushed Richards after he defeated Rhino, though Richards would have an unlikely savior in Jay Lethal, who he had defeated before ''Showdown In The Sun'' and evidently took it much better.
* LightningBruiser: 5'7 206 lbs, so you already know he's pretty built but you still wouldn't expect a man his size to flat out ''toss'' his opponents around the ring.
* LookWhatICanDoNow: Was defeated by Eddie Edwards a year before he trained with Dan The Beast Severn and returned to beat Eddie Edwards next year. They continued to work as a tag team in between these matches though.

!!! Silas Young
* AddictionDisplacement: Was a heroine addict prior to finding pro wrestling.
* CombatPragmatist: After suffering a loss to ACH Silas was willing to stoop to any length to avenge it, though ACH was the one to name the last man standing stipulation at ''Aftershock'' Silas was the one who planted the idea in his head, attacked ACH from behind before the match started, used a security guards as a HumanShield, cocooned ACH in the outside padding mats in an attempt to prevent him from standing, liberally attacked ACH below the groin [[spoiler:and ultimately won ''not'' be standing but simply having the soles of his feet on the ground when the referee counted to ten while ACH did not.]]
* CrowdChant: "Last Real Woman" when fans are against him.
* DrivenByEnvy: He frequently collides with Jay Lethal, not just over title belts or shots at them, but because he feels he deserves all the accolades and media appearances Lethal gets.
* EnemyMine: Silas Young and Beer City Bruiser had unsuccessfully searched for a third partner to take them to the World Six Man Championship belts. TK O’Ryan, who held on of those belts, had broken his leg, forcing The Kingdom to find a new partner or forfeit the titles. So Silas Young came to an understanding with Vinny Marseglia and Matt Traven, not that it was enough to hold of Bully Ray and The Briscoes.
* EvilIsPetty: After having Beer City Bruiser help him break Jay Lethal's ribs, Young brought a board to all of his ROH bookings marking the number of days Lethal had been out with the injury.
* ForYourOwnGood: One of his favorite past times is going for runs on good weather days in search of children to yell at, so they will get out of the street.
* IShallTauntYou: Having seen Colt Cabana talk his way into a match with Jay Lethal at ''Supercard Of Honor X'', Young talked Raymond Rowe into giving he and Beer City Bruiser a title shot later in the night with a similar game plan.
* {{Leitmotif}}: United Divided
* NewMediaAreEvil: Believes video games are among the things that are killing pro wrestling and he only uses the internet to go on twitter and make fun of you nerds!
* ParentalSubstitute: A self appointed one to ACH, after coming to the conclusion ACH wasn't as manly as his son and thus needed his guidance.
* PornStache: The only acceptable facial grooming for a man is mustache only or completely shaved. Young went for the former. The fact he has very thin eye brows just draws more attention to it.
* RecognitionFailure: Upset that he and The Beer City Bruiser didn't qualify for the Six Man Tag Championship Tournament without a third man, Silas Young finally upgraded to a flat screen phone so he could look at videos on the go in search of that third man. When he finally found footage of a wrestler he wanted to tag with...it turned out to be a commercial feature The Beer City Bruiser.
* RedBaron: "The Last Real Man". He called his tag team with Beer City Bruiser "[[EdibleThemeNaming Milwaukee's]] [[TankardOfMooseUrine Worst]]" but it didn't catch on.
* SensitiveGuyAndManlyMan: Himself as the manly man and the Beer City Bruiser as the sensitive one. Bruiser isn't even the nicest, most thoughtful or indeed all that sensitive but is like a cupcake compared to Young and would have to be by Silas's self definition anyway.
* TheComicallySerious: It wouldn't be ROH if ''someone'' didn't take even a show like "A Night Of Hoopla" seriously, and that role fell on Young, who accused Davey Richards of insulting the business he after forced his way into the Hoopla Hotties's dance off and insulted Davey's masculinity. Unfortunately for Young, that resulted in the two being put in match, which became a Lumber Jill match when Truth Martini thought Silas was being too evasive. And all the "Jills" were men in drag, one of whom kissed Young when he tried to fight them.
* TheResenter: After winning a four way at the fourteenth anniversary that was made an internet exclusive, Young came to the belief that New Japan's wrestlers were taking up all the best pay per view spots that rightfully belonged to him and became convinced their wrestlers couldn't be as tough as everyone boasted, even though he lost to KUSHIDA at ''War Of The Worlds'', since Gedo was a part of said four way he won, leading Young to challenge NEVER Openweight Champion Wrestling/KatsuyoriShibata at ''Death Before Dishonor''.

* TheAce: Gresham carried ROH during the 2020-2021 relaunch in the middle of the pandemic, and for a good reason! He mixes technical and high flying wrestling styles and is passionate about the sport. Sadly, he became:
** BrokenAce: After losing both his top face position and the ROH World heavyweight Championship against the returning Claudio Castagnoli.
* {{Catchphrase}}: "I am the foundation of professional wrestling!"
* EarlyBirdCameo: First competed for ROH in the ''2011 Top Prospect Tournament'' before joining full time in 2014.
* FaceHeelTurn: Turned on AEW wrestler Lee Moriaty and then joined Tully Blanchard Enterprises.
* HappilyMarried: To Jordynne Grace of Impact Wrestling fame.
* HeterosexualLifePartners: With his teammate and best friend Jay Lethal.
* PintSizedPowerhouse: Stands at 5'4" and is one of the best technical wrestlers in recent times.
* PowerStable: The mind behind The Foundation, whose intention is to return ROH to its pure wrestling roots. His teammates are Jay Lethal, Tracy Williams, Rhett Titus and Josh Woods.
** After turning Heel, he then joined Tully Blanchard Enterprises, but that didn't last long as both Gresham and Blanchard were replaced by a returning Prince Nana, changing Tully Blanchard Enterprises into a reforming Embassy.
* RedBaron: "The Octopus", "The Foundation"
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: After losing the ROH World Heavyweight Championship unfairly to a returning Claudio Castagnoli in ''Death Before Dishonor 2022'', he called out Tony Khan and requested his release from the promotion.

* RedBaron: The hangman, after he showed his allegiance to Bullet Club by putting a noose on Chris Sabin and attempting, well...
* SmugSnake: During his rivalries with Andrew Everett and ACH Page proved their equal in agility but not in sense or finesse. His shooting star shoulder block was pretty much the definition of AwesomeButImpractical.
* UnknownRival: At BJ Whitmer's suggestion he called out Jay Briscoe, on shows where Jay Briscoe was not present in order to paint Briscoe as a coward when he naturally did not come out to answer them. When Briscoe was present though, Page went out to confront him, [[GenreBlind against Whitmer's wishes]]. Briscoe, accepted the challenge but didn't even know who Page was, much less that he'd been trying to challenge him for weeks.

* SustainedMisunderstanding: When they learned members of Pro Wrestling NOAH's roster would be available for ''Super Card Of Honor VII'' Martial demanded RD Evans get in contact with them so Marshall could have a new tag team partner to face Ta'Darius and ACH. Problem Martial did not make his requests until after Evans had already gotten in touch and all the wrestlers he wanted happen to be on the ''New Japan'' roster. Ironically a New Japan wrestler ended up being the only one to make it to the show.

* BashBrothers: With Caprice Coleman.
* BeatThemAtTheirOwnGame: Subverted, in their "Battle Of The Back Breakers" match he beats Roderick Strong with a small package. Played straight at Best In the World when his final submission was the Strong Hold.
* DamnYouMuscleMemory: He usually follows Coleman's no hands hurricanrana with a frog splash but missed on ROH TV episode 37 in a match with the All Night Express where Rhett titus kept rolling passed his usual landing spot. Kenny King immediately capitalized for the win.
* HandshakeRefusal: Virtually none of the [=ROHbots=] gave him any chance against Wrestling/KazuchikaOkada, even though Alexander felt he ''needed'' to win. He wasn't in a good sport when he lost at ''Global Wars 2015'' like everyone predicted.
* IKnowYouKnowIKnow: Has wrestled ACH enough to know he'll spring back up for multiple enzuigiris if he ducks them, among his other tricks.
* LightningBruiser: He can throw guys as well as he can tumble around and jump over things.
* PerkyFemaleMinion: Veda Scott. She was [[EvilLaugh overjoyed]] when he took out Moose and Stokely to return her wrench and decided to manage his affairs from then on.
* TagTeam: 7 Oh! 4 with Caleb Konley. They also assist in the training of wrestlers.
* TheDogBitesBack: He's been the "rookie" who has put up the most fight against Decade.
* TheRival: The Bravado Brothers, Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team, Roderick Strong.
* WeUsedToBeFriends: With Adam Page, prior to him joining the Decade.
* WrenchWhack: The wrench he used to end Moose's winning streak. Veda Scott actually gave it to Moose [[MinionWithAnFInEvil but Moose was confused]] and Alexander stole it. Coleman's refusal to let him use it on War Machine caused Alexander to refuse to team with him any longer.

!!! ACH
* BeYourself: His message to the ROH fans. As long as you're not hurting anyone else and "do you", handle your business, you shouldn't be afraid to express what you like or indulge in it.
* BloodFromTheMouth: Showed it during his match against Adam Cole on the first night at ''Supercard Of Honor X'', which was unfortunate for him but was great for [[TheWorfEffect giving the fans an idea]] of what Cole might do in his no holds barred match against Kyle O'Reilly on night 2.
* CrowdChant: "Go, Go, A-C-H!"
* FinishingMove: The best 450 ever and the dragon fly frog splash
* IKnowYouKnowIKnow
** His feud with Ta'Darius Thomas, whom ACH was eventually able to outsmart by feinting a four fifty splash. And even that almost didn't work.
** In his best of five series with Matt Sydal, only more one sided as it initially appeared ACH had him completely figured out, though it did wind up going all five.
* InASingleBound: He just might be able to outdo Cedric Alexander and AJ Styles in this area. He's done a step up plancha with a midair cartwheel motion that was called "Jordan, with a twist!"
* GameBreakingInjury: To his knee by Decade, which prevented him from saving Ta'Darius from Jimmy Jacobs
* HiddenDepths: His dead lift German suplex and snap German. Not just quick, limber and agile but strong!
* {{Leitmotif}}: "Street Fighter", [[ProductPlacement which you can get at TeamR&BMusic.com]]
* LeeroyJenkins: Even before their falling out, Ta'Darius had to reign him in, which Jimmy Jacobs would mock.
* RedBaron: The Glow of Texas, Human Video Game Highlight, The Last Dragon, The Last Hero
* SignatureMove: Crane kick,
* SlideAttack: Slides to set up various moves that involve charging into the turnbuckles, one of which is a flash point where he slides out of the ring as he connects with it.
* SpitefulSpit: After Jimmy Jacobs spit water on him, he spit on Ta'Darius and on Jacobs.
* TagTeam: Adrenaline Rush with Ta'Darius
* TheRival: It is still Cedric Alexander, with the C&C Wrestle Factory being one to Adrenaline Rush. After Thomas left though and C&C broke up it was Matt Sydal.
* TheWorfEffect: Newly crowned IWGP Champions of all belts have faced ACH, including KUSHIDA, Styles, Kenny Omega and Tetsuya Naito
* ThreePointLanding: He tends to slingshot into one during his entrances.
* TrashTalk: So much it got his mouth duct taped shut
* WholeCostumeReference: Most noticeably as [[Manga/OnePiece Monkey D Luffy]], though he also has entrance gear that resembles [[Franchise/DragonBall an orange Gi]]. These usually go without comment.
* WouldHitAGirl: Neglected such a challenge from Athena regarding [=MsChif=], arguing it would make him the OJ Simpson of pro wrestling, although it being a tag match he did end up hitting [=MsChif=], being the only person to get any significant offense against her besides Athena up to that point, when his team was about to lose. Unfortunately for ACH doing so lead to defeat anyway, as he happened to [[BerserkButton wake up]] [=MsChif=]'s husband in the process.

* DanceBattler: UsefulNotes/{{Capoeira}} is his favorite martial art so...
* IKnowKarate: Started fighting at age 17 and was already accomplished in Mixed Martial Arts and Boxing, which Jimmy Jacobs claims doesn't mean much in the wrestling ring (He had been doing that for awhile too but Jacobs wasn't impressed, though his career in wrestling really did not yet compare to Jacob's)
* IKnowYouKnowIKnow: Even during his tryout days, he had a knack for figuring out which ways his opponents would dodge his strikes and would follow up accordingly, though sometimes it took a minute for him to figure them out.
* {{Leitmotif}}: TD is for Total Destruction!
* PunctuationShaker: In this case, it is usually pronounced without a stop...except when it is.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: Also known as Ty Darius, Ty Darious and...well most people just call him TD.
* SwordLimbo: He uses the matrix evasion to transition into moves.
* TagTeam: With ACH, until Decade put an end to it.
* ToxicFriendInfluence: Even before Ring of Honor he recognized that the House Of Truth was going to lead him down a bad road and thus distanced himself from Truth Martini once his training was done. Unfortunately, Ta'Darius ended up being caught by Jimmy Jacobs.
* YankTheDogsChain: Got his long overdue vengeance against QT Marshall in 2013 Turner Hall Top Prospect Tournament only to lose to Matt Taven in the final round due to Truth Martini.

!!! Cheeseburger[=/=]World Famous CB
* AscendedExtra: Formerly part of the ring crew, which is explicitly part of his on screen persona.
* ButtMonkey: Especially to "Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team", though their abuse of him eventually got them kicked out of Ring of Honor... for now.
* {{Determinator}}: What success he has attained has come from setting modest goals, and continuously attempted to achieve them with nonstop.
* FragileSpeedster: It doesn't do him much good here, as a lot of wrestlers here are just as fast or at least fast enough to keep up and even guys who are not exceptionally powerful can pluck him out of mid-air. It's surprising he can even survive hits from Moose and will usually be staying down for three.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: During is in ring debut for ROH Roderick Strong was about to win them tag titles, having put Bobby Fish in a Boston crab. Kyle O'Reilly ran in to break it up so Cheeseburger [[BigGuyRodeo leaped on O'Reilly]] and put him in a Christo, which caused O'Reilly to collapse into Strong and break his hold.

* RickyMorton: Until ROH gets a lightweight division or something this is really the only way he can pull his weight in tag team matches.
* TagTeam: Camp Cheese with Roderick Strong in his debut. Then The Brutal Burgers with Bob Evans. Despite a rough start (losing to Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis, the former being the reason for the team coming together in the first place) Brutal Burgers actually went on to have a winning record, even getting a shot at ROH Tag Team Champions reDRagon, who were his Camp Cheese opponents. He and Will Ferrara serve as such in the ROH dojo, as substitutes for Daizee Haze.
* TrainingFromHell: Subverted when Will Ferrara brought in Mike to act as a personal trainer for Cheeseburger's entry into the ''Field Of Honor'' tag gauntlet. It ended up being such for Ferrara as carried Cheeseburger through the regimen.
* WeakButSkilled: Jushin Liger's plan for him, who knows first hand what it is like to be bullied for your stature. It resulted in Cheeseburger having an effective Shotei.

* FinishingMove: Redrum, parodied from Wrestling/JeffHardy's Swanton Bomb. [[TheArtifact He still continues to use it even after his betrayal of Matt Taven.]]
* PureIsNotGood: He proclaims himself as the "Purest" wrestler in the roster of ROH, all in his own twisted image.
* RedBaron: "Enigmatic", "Inksanity", "The Horror King"
* ShoutOut: He was trained by Mike Bennett and seemed intent on continuing The Kingdom's allusions to The Hardy Boys, though unlike Bennett, Marseglia is more the Jeff to TK O'Ryan's Matt, he even uses the Swanton...{{ahem}}, "high angle senton bomb". Ironically O'Ryan's spectacular crash and burn on a high risk move is what gave his incarnation of The Kingdom their first setback.
* TookALevelInBadass: He apparently impressed enough to be invited back during his loss to Rhino but Marseglia and Matt Taven were among those who lost out to QT Marshall for an ROH contract at ''Boiling Point''. Vinny would periodically reappear at ROH events but would not win a match until ''Death Before Dishonor XI'' the following year, and even that was a dark match. Although he continued winning at the following ROH event and then again on ''Future Of Honor'', whose name would be lent to an internet exclusive series.
** His betrayal of Matt Taven also gained points, as he later takes his Horror King gimmick more seriously as Vincent.
* PowerStable: He led The Righteous, whose teammates are Bateman, Dutch and Vita [=VonStarr=] (also their valet).
* VillainInAWhiteSuit: Often wears white suits in his latest promos, and is a very creepy Heel.

!!! [[Wrestling/TheHeadbangers The Guardians Of Truth[=/=]The Headbangers]]

[[/folder]]

[[folder:Road To Greatness: 2013-2015]]
!!! Seleziya Sparx
* ButtMonkey: She took many (accidental) hits from Lethal and Cedric Alexander.
* FriendlessBackground: Unlike most wrestlers Sparx had no athletic background. She was the proverbial kid that no one cared about, so she resolved to become so successful people would be forced to pay attention to her. [[AffablyEvil She's pretty friendly]], so long as she gets attention, the problem is that [[ToxicFriendInfluence her first friends in ROH]] were The House Of Truth.
* HiddenDepths: Being that ROH was a nationally-syndicated product without much in the vein of a women's division when she was there, she rarely got to show hints of her wrestling skill in the company, but when she did, she came off badass. For example, there was the time she [[DidYouJustPunchoutCthulhu hit a Death Valley driver on]] "{{Satan}}" following a low blow from Bordeaux on a Hoopla Uncut segment which was basically a jab at QT Marshall.
* PerkyFemaleMinion: A hoopla hottie known for [[ShakingTheRump booty popping]].
* PutOnABus: Banned from working in the USA for trying to enter without a valid visa.
* WomanScorned: She was fired by Matt Taven and then rehired by The House Of Truth to exploit the resulting ire that she gained towards him.

!! War Machine [2013–2017]
!!! Hanson (Todd James Smith)
!!! Rowe (Raymond Rowe Sr.)
* {{Acrofatic}}: Hanson's not especially quick but his very graceful in his ability to avoid trips and take downs.
* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: They may have won the tag team titles, but they never beat The Briscoes until the 2016 ''Global Wars''. Only then did their reign truly begin, in their own minds.
* AscendedExtra: Todd Hanson first appeared in multiple dark matches, then disappeared for six years before finally getting a televised match as a title contender.
* AssKicksYou: Hanson will catch a charging opponent in the corner with a head scissors, and then simply let go of the top rope and let them crumple under his weight.
* BeardOfBarbarism: Hanson's gimmick, invoking the Celtic tribes with gear reminiscent of a kilt and a "war beard". Rowe's facial hair caught up in due time.
* BadassesWearBandanas: Rowe's covers most of his face with a trucker cap leaving only a slit for his eyes.
* CarpetOfVirility: Hanson's a hairy dude, his singlet shows off much of it in the chest area.
* CombinationAttack: Popup from Rowe to a Hanson power slam, backdrop from Hanson to a Rowe power bomb.
* DefeatMeansFriendship: Became a tag team after Hanson beat Rowe in the finals of the 2014 Top Prospect Tournament.
* FinishingMove: Back suplex with a leg drop they call Fallout. Hanson, the larger of the two coming off the top with the leg drop. Also a spring board clothesline from Hanson with a German suplex from Rowe they call Decapitation.
* GrievousHarmWithABody.
** Raymond Rowe's target was Silas Young, but as he hammered him with forearms in the corner during the October 23rd 2015 show The Boys were trapped underneath him.
** Rowe bodyslams Hanson onto his opponents. It's bad enough having Hanson fall on your midsection, let alone getting ''thrown'' onto it.
* {{Leitmotif}}: "Blood And Tears" by Jean-Michel Bacou and Eric Baumont.
* TalkToTheFist: When Silas Young was running his mouth on the second night of ''Supercard Of Honor X'', Raymond Rowe took his microphone and opened his mouth as if to retort but instead punched Young's.
* ThisMeansWarPaint: When they are especially angry they paint their faces before matches. This is a nod to the ancient Celtic tribes but has a side effect of making them look like [[Wrestling/TheRoadWarriors The Legion of Doom]] to those unfamiliar with their gimmick.
* WhiteGangbangers: Rowe has shown shades of this, though it's been significantly downplayed since he joined with Hanson. Matt Taven still insisted on calling Rowe an ex convict though.
* WorfHadTheFlu: In addition to defending the tag team title belts three times in a twenty four hour time period, Rowe had a concussion going into the match War Machine lost the belts to The Addiction.

!!! KUSHIDA
* AnythingYouCanDoICanDoBetter: Attempted and failed with his first television title shot against Jay Lethal. Three years later KUSHIDA would managed to hit Jay with his own Lethal Injection, but Lethal wasn't champion anymore.
* BaitAndSwitch: His team utilized this during the World Six Man Tag Team Tournament thanks to Alex Shelley's manipulations, starting with Lio Rush publicly being booted for KUSHIDA only for Rush to reappear with him the final round. And it did get them to the finals but wasn't enough to stop Taven's Kingdom.
* CombinationAttack: A moonsault after Alex Shelley's neckbreaker(outatime) or a sit down power bomb with Shelley's Shiranui(I-94)
* FinishingMove: Primarily a Kimura referred to as the Hoverboard lock, though the super nova press and rana from his [[Wrestling/FightingOperaHUSTLE HUSTLE]] days are still applicable. Not above a corkscrew moonsault(Wrestling/TheMidnightExpress) either. KUSHIDA asked Kazarian for permission but it ended up being Tyler Black who didn't approve of the small package driver being called "Back To The Future".
* GameOfNerds: He wears a brimmed cap(sometimes with a propeller on top of it) and does a windup punch he calls "Masahiro Tanaka"...think he might be a baseball fan?
* IKnowKarate: Before he became the famed high flying pro wrestler, KUSHIDA was a mixed martial artist and if you're in the ring with him you'd best not forget it.
* ImpossiblyCoolClothes: None of the abuse they get put through seems to dim the glow of his boots. Yes, he wrestles in glowing boots!
* OneSteveLimit: Just the family name, can't be confusing him with Yujiro Takahashi now can we. Especially not when both Yujiros are feuding over the IWGP Junior Heavyweight belt.
* SignatureMove: Sometimes uses those of his trainers Wrestling/YoshihiroTajiri and Wrestling/NobuhikoTakada. Then there is sometimes the 9469 KUSHIDA lock.
* UnnecessaryCombatRoll: You ''could'' argue the cartwheel allows him to keep his eyes on his opponent while putting himself in position to drop kick them into a pinning position but make no mistake, KUSHIDA is showing off.

!!! Wrestling/KazuchikaOkada

!!! Beer City Bruiser
* {{Acrofatic}}: He can hit his keg splash from halfway across the ring.
* BadBoss: {{Downplayed|Trope}}: He beats on The Boys for what are sometimes arbitrary reasons but it's on Silas Young's orders, rather than his own initiative.
* BigFun: He is pudgy, pasty and completely in love with himself, showing it off with a really tiny pair of shorts.
* CaptainMorganPose: He carries a keg to the ring to do it on during his entrance.
* CurseCutShort: On their (failed)promo to announced their partner for the ROH Six Man Tag Championship Tournament, Silas Young cut off The Bruiser, saying that their last seven promos were rejected by the ROH office for having too much profanity.
* EveryoneCallsHimBarkeep: Showed up in a dark match two years prior to his televised match in a ''group'' called The Beer City Bruisers.
* FatBastard: He's so mean and brutal that he actually gets along with Silas Young.
* MookCarryover: He's ended up with Dalton Castle's Boys after Castle was defeated by Silas Young.
* OddFriendship: Silas Young's ONLY friend. Mr. Wrestling III and Kevin Kelly describe them as miserable Milwaukeeans who only understand each other.
* SmokingIsCool: Sometimes comes out to the ring with a cigar. However it didn't go over so well at ''Supercard Of Honor X''.
-->Mr. Wrestling III:"There's no smoking in this hotel!"

!!! Brandon Tate/Boy #1
!!! Brent Tate/Boy #2
* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: They first competed under their real names before they became Dalton Castle's boys.
* {{Hypercompetent Sidekick}}s: Dalton can hold on his own, but the Boys are no pushovers when it comes to competition.
* TagTeamTwins: Both Boys are twins in real life.

!!! Shane Taylor
* {{Expy}}: In attitude to Jon Davis of the Dark City Fight Club, in appearance to Kory Chavis given Keith Lee is the one who goes bare shirted and Taylor usually has the head gear.
* FaceHeelTurn: A foreshadowed one, as he had been vowing to takeout War Machine for a while but was well received on the "Future of Honor" showcases and returned the reception by giving high fives.
* HeroKiller: Presented himself as such, taking full responsibility for running Lio Rush and Donovan Dijak out of ROH. Search And Destroy were not amused.
* HotbloodedSideburns: Albeit thicker towards the chin, making it more like a hot beard.
* PowerStable: He led his own namesake faction (Shane Taylor Promotions), whose teammates are Kaun and Moses. Later, O'Shay Edwards is added into the mix and is hinted that Trish Adora is a potential member of the faction for the relaunched ROH Women's Division.
* RedOniBlueOni: The red to Keith Lee, who will usually explain their motivations and make offers while Taylor will make threats.

!!! Wrestling/HiroshiTanahashi

!!! Moose (Quinn Ojinnaka)
See [[Wrestling/QuinnOjinnaka his page]] for tropes dedicated to him.

!!! Wrestling/StevieRichards

!!! Joey Daddiego
* AscendedExtra: A former bouncer and security guard whom ROH hired to head their own security staff. As such not much focus was put on him until Truth Martini offered him a job...
* BecameTheirOwnAntithesis: Not only did he become responsible for the kind of outside match violence he used to break up as security, [[GenreSavvy he cut off ROH security]] while Taeler Hendrix was beating down Mandy Leon.
* BigGuyLittleGuy: Played with, as Daddiego is the same height or shorter than most of the ROH roster, but very bulky while his tag team partner Donovan Dijak is lithe but very tall.
* CelebrityResemblance: Fans taunt him by comparing Daddiego to Dave Wrestling/{{Batista}}.
* IKnowKarate: A former Golden Gloves competitor.
* RedBaron: J. Diesel.
* RoaringRampageOfRevenge: Against Donovan Dijak after his former partner broke Truth Martini's neck.
!!!Donovan Dijak
* BigGuyLittleGuy: The big to Jay Lethal in the House Of Truth. Dijak had actually earned a shot at Lethal's television title but Truth Martini stepped in before the match could take place and convinced Dijak he was better served working with Lethal than against him.
* CoDragons: Joined with Martini's "muscle" J. Diesel in the H.O.T. in an attempt to bring the stable the tag team belts, as thus all of ROH's since Lethal had the other two already.
* HorribleJudgeOfCharacter: Took on Truth Martini's services after taking "The Truth" at face value. ''Then'' he openly sided with Prince Nana.
* LightningBruiser: He's not ''overwhelmingly'' muscular, but when you're six foot seven you don't have to be if you want to give anyone an overhead belly to belly suplex. Watch that 275 lbs corkscrew plancha!
* MundaneMadeAwesome: His discus boot, which given Dijak's size is more like a discus toe kick to most opponents, but given his size it's also pretty effective.
* TakeThatKiss: Blew one towards Takaaki Watanabe and has kissed Cheeseburger on the head after forcibly removing him from a match [[LeaveHimToMe with Joey Daddiego]].
* TokenGoodTeammate: His refusal to help Jay Lethal defeat AJ Styles or use the Book Of Truth on War Machine ended up getting him fired from the H.O.T.
!!!EVIL
* ExcessiveEvilEyeshadow: Natch, though only after Naito's makeover.
* HardHead: Decontructed in both ways. ROH officials kept special watch over him during matches after he had a several concussion scares but refused to stop using head butts.
* UsedToBeASweetKid: He passed through ROH while on his learning excursion to the USA and fit in very well, becoming liked by the locker room, staff and fans alike. Then he went back to NJPW, was taken under the wing of Tetsuya Naito and became The Lord Of Darkness of Los Ingobernables de Japon.

!!! Deonna Purrazzo (2015-2018)
* ActionGirl: She was a top name in the Women of Honor division.
* FinishingMove: Fujiwara Armbar, making it a meaningful submission hold instead of a resthold.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: Her reaction after she accidentally hit Mandy Leon with a chair during Mandy's No DQ match against Taeler Hendrix, with Taeler mocking Deonna with an {{Evil|Laugh}} [[LaughingMad insane laugh]].
* {{Red Baron}}ess: "The Virtuosa".
* SpicyLatina: Italian-American.

!!! Kelly Klein
* BrokenWinLossStreak: She had a long undefeated streak in Women of Honor, until Karen Q defeated her by countout. It was [[Wrestling/{{Goldberg}} Goldberg]]-like, since the commentators would talk about how long she had been undefeated.
* EvilMentor: Had one in BJ Whitmer, leading to her becoming a Hanger-on for [[PowerStable Decade]].
* FinishingMove: A double-arm submission hold called The End of the Match, a seated guillotine choke, and a running knee strike.
* GirlsWithMoustaches: ''Speakeasy Spectacular'', May 8, 2015, was built around the appearance of "The Bearded Lady." The scheduled main event was Olde Wrestling World Champion Matthew Cross defending the title against Clean of the Jollyville Jeepers. Before the match, Clean said that he was going to bring out the Bearded Lady. Out walked [[Wrestling/RubyRiott Heidi the Riveter (Heidi Lovelace)]] wearing a beard, drawing heel heat and chants of "phony." Cross won the match and Heidi and Clean started a heel beatdown, leading to Mary Elizabeth Monroe coming out wearing a beard, leading to a mixed-tag match, which Cross and Monroe won.
* GoshDangItToHeck: She was known for a time as [[Wrestling/EdgeWrestler "The Rated-G Superstar"]] and really did not want to curse.
* MonsterHeel: The commentators hyped up how much bigger and stronger she was than most of her opponents, and she did a lot of no-selling.
* PinkMeansFeminine: She wears a pink mouth guard.

* DirtyCoward: Even more so than Beretta, to Rocky Romero's frustrations when he called Yano into ROH to help Beretta overcome his fear of The [=GoD=].
* DistressedDude: Adam Page tried to hang him for beating Yujiro Takahashi, leading Jay Briscoe to start their "anything goes" match early.
* ImprobableWeaponUser: A turnbuckle pad. Although these are usually unavailable to him in New Japan and ROH's are specifically designed ''not'' to be removed by wrestlers during matches, he still found a way to get his hands on one.
* RedOniBlueOni: Blue to the Briscoes as Never Openweight Six Man TagTeam Champions. [[TheWorfEffect They tried and failed]] with the ROH versions in the crowning tournament.

!!! Wrestling/HiromuTakahashi

!!! Dragón Lee
* DragonsUpTheYinYang: He's the dragon, the yin yang is on his forehead.
* HiddenDepths: He was a relative rookie brought in to learn and sold primarily as an "attraction" for his dazzling flips but the man can wrestle pretty good on the ground and isn't afraid to shoot in every now and then.
* LegacyCharacter: Inherited the Dragon Lee gimmick from his brother, who later becomes the second Mistico in CMLL and then Dralistico.
* MaskedLuchador: The gimmick associated with the mask started in LLI/UWA and had been used in CMLL once before him.
* OvershadowedByAwesome: He defeated World Television Champion Bobby Fish in his debut match but couldn't get it done again when the title was on the line. The latter wouldn't be so important had Will Osprey not won the television title off the bat in ''his'' debut. And given Osprey lost the belt in his first defense Lee probably wouldn't be overshadowed if not for the different stipulation but Osprey had possession in the record books and Lee did not. After three encounters though Lee did finally gain some solace by defeating Osprey at ''Manhattan Mayhem VI''.
* WrestlingFamily: He's part of the Dinastía Muñoz, as his father is Bestia del Ring and his brothers are Rush and Místico II/Dralistico.

!!! TK O'Ryan
* BatterUp: Wields a baseball bat to strike his opponents.
* GameBreakingInjury: Overshot an Asai Moonsault at the fifteenth anniversary show, breaking his leg. This resulted in Silas Young having to replace him in The Kingdom's Six Man Tag Title defenses and is the only reason they lost the belts, according to Matt Taven anyway.
* FinishingMove: Glue Factory (bow and arrow hold), Mustang Ride (pump handle piledriver)
* PutOnABus: Hasn't been seen since the 2020 relaunch. It's assumed that since his injury, he stepped down from professional wrestling.
