!Alicorns
[[folder:General Tropes]]
----
* AdaptationalBadass: In the show, alicorns have powerful magic and can live to be thousands of years old (and are possibly immortal). In the world of the Pony POV Series, they are literal gods, forces of nature, and the sentient embodiments of metaphysical concepts like heroism, friendship, harmony, and love, while being billions of years old, rulers of their own realms and able to travel up and down the timestream at will.
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: Of the TarotMotifs, harmony, and Nature's Law.
* BarredFromTheAfterlife: While their spirits persist after death, they ''cannot'' enter Heaven, as none are allowed to interfere with the happy ending those in Heaven have earned. With their Father's permission, however, they can speak to mortals in Heaven, including any mortal family members they may have.
* CompellingVoice: They're shown to be capable of this, but they can't make a person behave outside of their nature with it.
* CompleteImmortality: The only known things that can truly kill an Alicorn are the power of Entropy or a Concept Killing Weapon. In the mortal world they're very hard to kill and can regenerate, and even then 'killing' them merely destroys their physical form and reverts them to their cosmic self, which is even more impossible to kill. However, neither of the known methods are recommended, as permanently killing a Concept means what they're AnthropomorphicPersonification of ''never existed''.
* DimensionLord: Generally, all alicorns are rulers over their own realm.
* FightingAShadow: Alicorns are capable of creating Avatars, even on the same plain as themselves. These can either be weaker duplicates of themselves, or in different forms.
* GodInHumanForm: Several of the Alicorns have lived lives on earth as mortals, in order to understand mortals better.
* GodOfGood: With the exception of Morning Star, their numbers make up the "good" concepts such as justice, love, heroism, and self-sacrifice.
* NonLinearCharacter: Normally exist outside of time and can travel up and down the timestream at will. Though the future is still in flux, they can see potential futures.
* OriginalCharacter: Aside from Celestia, Luna, and Cadence, all of the alicorns are original characters.
* PhotographicMemory: All alicorns have perfect memory. Part of the rationale for having it is so they can remember their mistakes clearly and learn from them, even ones from thousands or millions of years ago.
* PhysicalGod: They are quite literally forces of nature, and their power over the concept they represent is absolute, and they're capable of [[RealityWarper altering reality while outside of it]]. While they're nearly impossible to truly kill, even their mortal incarnations are incredibly hard to kill.
* SentientCosmicForce: They're not governing or controlling their concept, they ''are'' their Concept.
* SiblingTeam: Several of the Alicorns and their Concepts work in pairs--Imperatrix and Princeps (Male Dominance and Female Dominance), Cadence and Morning Star before the latter's fall to evil (Harmony and Perfection), Celestia and Luna (Sun and Moon), and Justitia and Judicium (Justice and Judgment).
* ThePowerOfCreation: Truly possess this while the Draconequi can only rearrange matter.
* TimeAbyss: They exist as long as the idea of their Concept does. Which translates to billions upon billions of years and possibly even longer than that. The Elders are even more so, as they've been around for multiple ''universes''.
* WingedUnicorn: Like Celestia and Luna, they are this.
* YouAreNumberSix: An Alicorn's full name and title includes their tarot number. For example, Celestia's and Luna's full names are Nineteenth Celestia Amaterasu Solaris Equestria and Eighteenth Luna Nyx Selena Equestria, while their sister Venus is also known as Sixth Venustas Ai Astarte.
[[/folder]]

!!Alicorn Elders
[[folder:Father of All Alicorns]]
-->Voiced by Nifty Koala
----
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: Of Existence, Wisdom, Sanity, Truth, and the Afterlife.
* ArmorPiercingQuestion: Pretty much half his dialog to Liarjack consists of these.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Is likely one of the kindest and most loving beings in creation, and ''very'' forgiving of the genuinely repentant...but even He has His limits and is ''not'' somedeity you want to clop off. He offered His grandson Cupid's murderer a chance to repent and be forgiven for the ''massive'' amount of damage she caused in the process, and when she didn't have an ounce of regret, He more or less told Venus [[DoWithHimAsYouWill Do With Her As You Will]] and left the killer to her fate. According to Venus, ticking off ''Havoc'' is a better idea than ticking off the Father, if much easier to do.
* BrutalHonesty: Sometimes. He's the embodiment of Truth, so he doesn't lie.
* DimensionLord: Of the universe the story takes place in. He is also ''literally'' Pony Heaven, or at least it's inside him.
* EldritchAbomination: A benevolent example. When Liarjack sees him, she ''literally'' can't describe him as anything other than a piece of the night sky cut in the shape of an Alicorn, all his other qualities are so apparently contradictory that she's incapable of making sense of them.
* EmotionsVsStoicism: PlayedWith in regards to him and Havoc: the Father is Wisdom and very logical, rational, and stoic, while Havoc is Fear and very passionate, energetic, and emotional. However, each has aspects of the opposite end: the Father is very compassionate and an AllLovingHero who's wrath supposedly is worse than Havoc's, if not far harder to be invoked.
* {{Expy}}: Of the Judeo-Christian God in many regards, though a definitely case of GodIsGood. Given the Pantheon exists in the human world as well and Christianity is shown to exist (Sunset mentions sh got the nickname 'Sunset Satan' due to her demon form), it's entirely possible he ''is'' the Judeo-Christian God.
* {{Forgiveness}}: All forgiving if the one seeking it is genuinely repentant. This is because [[FriendToAllLivingThings he loves all life]] and genuinely doesn't want to see any soul condemned if its possible to save it. He even quotes the ArcWords of Dark World to [[spoiler:Starlight]]; forgiveness is not earned, it is given.
* FriendToAllLivingThings: Considers no living thing worthless and loves all life.
* FullNameUltimatum: Yes, just like a mortal parent, he uses his children's full names when he is angry with them (although, thankfully, this does not happen very often). When chewing out Luna for helping Celestia release the Windigos on Equus, he uses her full name, "Eighteenth Luna Nyx Selena".
* GodOfGood: Shares this role with his mate, Fauna Luster. All life is precious to him.
* GoodHurtsEvil: Liarjack, who was still hanging onto her sins, tried to touch him, and experienced horrible pain due to it. The Father of All Alicorns clearly didn't WANT to do it, it's just how things work.
* GoodIsNotSoft: He loves every living thing in existence...but he will not hesitate to punish the unrepentant for their crimes, as the Nameless Filly found out. He showed her every bit of the devastation her actions caused across the universe, and when she still felt no remorse, he allowed Venus to cast her down into Pony Hell.
* GoodParents: He's a good father. He does punish his children, but in a merciful way compared to the Draconequi. He punishes Luna for helping Celestia nearly cause TheEndOfTheWorldAsWeKnowIt for Ponyland by reverting her to an infant (reflecting her own immaturity). In comparison, Discord, who did the same thing, was punished by ''his'' family by being killed and resurrected several hundred times in horrifically gruesome ways (Destruction was apparently punished exactly the same for a similar slight).
* {{Heaven}}: He apparently ''[[GeniusLoci is]]'' Pony Heaven, or at least it's inside his body.
* InMysteriousWays: Subverted consistently. Probably due to being Wisdom incarnate, He's quite willing to explain why He did something if asked, as shown with his interactions with Liarjack and Starlight.
--> '''Applejack:''' Yah couldn't have just told meh from the start!
--> '''Father of All Alicorns:''' If I Had Just Told You, You Would Have Treated It As Nothing More Than A Lecture.
--> '''Applejack:''' Ah guess yah got a point there.
* LastSecondChance: His willingness to do this is a key personality trait of His. He even offered one to His ''grandson's murderer''. Though in that case, He showed that while He's all forgiving, getting on his bad side is a ''terrible terrible idea''.
* MadeOfGood: To be expected when you're ''literally'' Pony Heaven.
* NoNameGiven: Never named in the story itself. According to WordOfGod, his name can't be pronounced by mortals, though technically the original intent was to give him the name of one of the "fathers" of the my little pony toy line.
** Though Havoc calls him "Buddy" if that's worth anything.
** Amicitia later refers to him as [[TheUnpronounceable BDCZM.]]
* NonLinearCharacter: Like the other deities, only as a TopGod he exists in ''every'' timeline at once.
* TheOlderImmortal: Is called an 'Elder' for a reason. He's been around for ''multiple'' universes' entire life span.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Is understanding of his children and the various mortals who come in contact with him (even helping [[spoiler:Dark World!Applebloom redeem her sister and giving Melody glimpse of the future to ease her concerns about her granddaughter]]. He's also all merciful and will forgive anyone who is genuinely repentant, and that's pretty much the only requirement to get into Heaven. Given he's the AnthropomorphicPersonification of Wisdom (and thus the Perfect Wisdom), this is to be expected. The guy even offered His ''grandson's murderer'' a chance to be forgiven.
* RiddleForTheAges: Exactly what Heaven looks like. The general description of it by those who have seen it is 'you have to be there.' It's a paradise, but it's not describable by those who are still alive.
* SoProudOfYou: To Liarjack, when she successfully breaks out of her Discording using her love for her little sister.
* TarotMotifs: 5th, the Hierophant.
* TeamDad: To the Alicorns and all of creation, [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin natch.]] Notably to Liarjack.
* TimeAbyss: Is older than the universe several times over. In fact, according to Razzaroo, he predates ''time itself''.
* TopGod: One of four.
* TheSpock: Described by Celestia as "logical and rational", but also holding all life as significant.
* YouCannotGraspTheTrueForm: When Liarjack sees him, the only concrete thing she can grasp about him is he appears to be a piece of the night sky made into the form of a pony. Everything else about him is simply so seemingly contradictory (due to him being the AnthropomorphicPersonification of ''Existence'') that she's incapable of making sense of any of it and finally just gives up trying to describe him. Since he's a good guy, it doesn't drive her mad, it just confuses the hay out of her.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Fauna Luster]]
-->Voiced by Beth Mayoh
----
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: Of Existence and Empathy. According to Celestia, the Elements of Harmony are infused with her power through the bearer's bond (thus why they're more powerful than the Rainbow of Light) and the Fires of Friendship was also a fraction of her power. She's also Life, and the creator of all souls.
* BrownNoteBeing: Most living creatures find it wonderfully pleasant and joyful to be in her presence, but the Draconequi feel horribly wrong when they are close to her.
* CrownOfHorns: Her horn is encircled by a set of tiny horns that resemble a crown.
* DivineIntervention: It's stated that the Fires of Friendship used to defeat the Windigos WAS her power granted to Clover the Clever and company, but it was still a ''major'' feat on their part to access her power in the first place. Pretty much using Friendship to power the Elements calls on her power and combines it with the Rainbow of Light.
* DimensionLord: Of the Alicorn's Realm, though it also appears She can be described as Pre-Life, as She's literally The Source of all souls.
* EldritchAbomination: A benevolent version. She's every bit as indescribable and incomprehensible as Havoc and Entropy, but loves all living things and her presence is described as extremely pleasant.
* TheEmpath: Is the embodiment of Empathy, so naturally applies. This is best shown talking to [[spoiler:Dark World!Twilight]], where no matter what She's asked, she's completely understanding of why [[spoiler:Twilight]] feels the way she does and gives her logical explanations.
--> '''Fauna Luster''': ASK. THERE IS NOTHING YOU COULD SAY TO ME I WILL NOT UNDERSTAND, NOTHING THAT WOULD MAKE ME HATE YOU.
* TheEvilsOfFreeWill: Inverted. She's a strong supporter of free will. Life has proved to support her viewpoint more than it does Entropy.
* FireIceDuo: The Fire to Entropy's Ice. Fauna Luster's Fire of Friendship is the source of power for the Elements of Harmony, while the Windigos, spirits of ice, are Entropy's creations.
* FriendToAllLivingThings: She's literally the Mother of All Things, and every soul comes from Her, meaning every living being is ''literally'' Her child. [[spoiler:Even though the alternative would've been ''extremely'' horrific for everything in creation, She was ''decidedly'' not happy to be forced to help Entropy destroy D__t, as she's Creation and the act of ending something is the most painful thing to her.]]
* GodOfGood: Gender-inverted example. She's described as being the perfect empathy and loving all things.
* GoodHurtsEvil: The Elements of Harmony work by tapping into just a ''minute'' portion of her essence.
* GoodIsNotSoft: She loves her children with all her heart, but she will punish them if they've really screwed up, although she doesn't enjoy it. This is in fact very necessary, because when a Concept makes a mistake, it could permanently damage the fabric of reality or result in the deaths of innocent mortals, among other things. That last one isn't a completely hypothetical situation, either--when Celestia unleashed the Windigos on Equus after telling them to "end hatred among ponies", they took it literally and created an endless winter that killed millions and would have wiped out every living thing on Equus if not for Clover, Pansy and Cookie discovering the Fire of Friendship. [[spoiler:In the Dark World timeline, Justitia and Judicium use this to convince Fluttershy to punish Fluttercruel for her crimes against mortals, pointing out that their Mother allowed Morning Star to be imprisoned for his crimes even though she still loved him and it broke her heart to do so.]]
-->'''Cadence:''' The choices of a Concept can have cosmic ramifications. While Our Parents punish, they only do so because the weight of our mistakes is greater than anything a mortal can ever... or should ever know.
* GoodParents: Clearly loves her children dearly (and all of existence), and is a pretty fair mother from what we see.
* IDidWhatIHadToDo: [[spoiler:It was extremely painful for her to help Entropy destroy D__t, but she had to do it, because the consequences of him killing all the Alicorns and Draconequi would have been nothing less than the destruction of the universe.]]
* InMysteriousWays: Subverted, like Her mate, She actually explains things in a logical fashion when asked.
* TheLifestream: She is where all souls/lights of existence come from.
* LivingIsMoreThanSurviving: When Dark World!Twilight meets her [[spoiler:as part of the prelude to her alicorn ascension]], she is given the opportunity to ask questions about the nature of life. She asks why Fauna Luster lets them out of her to experience life, when being alive comes with pain and hurt. Fauna Luster asks if ponies would be happy with being kept alive by IV drips and having live wires hooked into their brains' pleasure centers. Twilight answers that they wouldn't, because that's life, but not living.
* MadeOfGood: The Fires of Friendship used to destroy the Windigos? That was a ''tiny'' piece of her.
* NoIndoorVoice: Hard to say given the nature of the flashbacks and who she is, but whenever she talks, IT'S ALWAYS TYPED LIKE THIS, just like her antithesis Entropy.
* NonLinearCharacter: Like the other deities, only as a TopGod she exists in ''every'' timeline at once.
* NotHyperbole: She's referred to as the Mother of All Things. This is quite literal: Every soul that ever existed or ever will exist was born directly from Her.
* TheOlderImmortal: Is called an 'Elder' for a reason. She's been around for ''multiple'' universes' entire life span.
* OutOfFocus: Notably the only one of the Elders to ''only'' appear in flashbacks, despite being the one named after Creator/LaurenFaust. She finally plays a central role during [[spoiler:Dark World!Twilight's ascension.]]
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Just like Her Husband.
* SignificantAnagram: Her name is an anagram of Creator/LaurenFaust.
* TarotMotifs: 21st, the World.
* TeamMom: For the Alicorns, most of whom are her biological children. and life in general, considering she personifies it.
* TimeAbyss: Is older than the universe several times over. In fact, according to Razzaroo, she predates ''time itself''.
* TopGod: One of four, the other three being Havoc and his wife Entropy, and Fauna's husband, the Father of All Alicorns.
* YinYangBomb: [[spoiler:Can combine Her power with Entropy's to do ''something'' that was powerful enough to bypass D__t's ability to will himself back into existence if erased.]]

[[folder:Abbatissa]]
!!Abbatissa [[spoiler:/ Starglow]]

-->'''Voiced by''': Becky Horton

--> "Prayers are not currency."
----
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: Of Prayer and Balance between conscience and instinctual decisions.
* AnswerToPrayers: Her duty is to ensure that every mortal’s prayer in the universe, no matter how small, reaches the ears of the deity it was meant for.
* DivineIntervention: Is essentially the primary medium for this, acting as a road between the deities and the mortals.
* GodOfGood: The Goddess of Prayer, which basically means she spends most of her time listening to ''every'' prayer in the entire universe, including indirect ones, and making sure they get to the deity that needs to hear them in order for mortals to get help when they need it.
* TheGodsMustBeLazy: Arguably living proof this isn't the case, given she's the one who makes sure the Gods ''can'' assist mortals and is quite the busy mare herself.
* HeartIsAnAwesomePower: She's the Personification of Prayer. While this might not sound incredibly impressive at first glance, she's the one who hears ''all'' the prayers in creation. Every. Last. One. And is responsible for making sure they get to the proper deity, which let's them directly aid mortals effectively. Because of this, [[spoiler:Breezy Blossom was able to be saved, as well as an alternate iteration of Cupid and by extension all those he brought into being]], among other things. There's a ''reason'' she's considered one of the most important Deities by the other Gods.
* HeavenlyBlue: She has a blue coat and white mane, and is a divine Alicorn.
* NumberTwo: Out of her siblings, she is the closest to, and the most like, their mother Fauna Luster and spends a lot of time learning from her.

[[/folder]]

[[folder:Imperatrix]]
Princeps's twin sister, and the alicorn goddess of female authority.
----
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: Of Nurturing, Lust, and Female Dominance. She's also the embodiment of ''being'' female.
* GenderBender: Played with. According to LooseCanon, when she first came into being her and her brother played a game of tag with the other gods and those Imperatrix tagged became female. PlayedWith, as they didn't ''have'' a gender before that.
* MeaningfulName: Her name denotes her as a ruling female, appropriate considering what one of her Concepts is.

-->'''Voiced by''': Suzanne Muir

The alicorn goddess of love and fertility. Through an affair with a mortal pony, she had a demigod son, Cupid, who was murdered by the Nameless Filly.
----
* AllLovingHero: Seeing as she's ''literally'' love itself. The one exception was her son's murderer, and even then it was more because of how royally said murderer screwed up the universe without remorse (which was second only to [[spoiler:Eclipse's]] plan in death toll).
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: Of Love, all kinds.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: She's the Goddess of Love and is ''incapable'' of true hatred, and quick to forgive...but for the love of everything ''do not clop her off'', and more importantly, do not be ''unrepentant'' for your wrongdoing if you do. You ''will'' regret it.
* DecompositeCharacter: Canonically, Cadence is the closest equivalent to a LoveGoddess. In the ''Pony POV Series'', Cadence is the Concept of Harmony and Music, while her sister Venus is the Concept of Love.
* {{Forgiveness}}: Gives this to [[spoiler:the Rainbow Dash who was Eclipse's Nightmare Manacle]].
* ForWantOfANail: The death of her demigod son, Cupid, and the events that transpired after. * GoodIsNotSoft: When Dark World!Fluttershy refused to allow Dark World!Fluttercruel to be punished for her crimes, she and Judicium summoned a gigantic army of Fluttercruel's victims to wait outside the front door of her house in Pony Heaven and basically told Fluttershy that if she did not choose a suitable punishment for her daughter, they would allow every single one of Fluttercruel's victims to torture her the way she did to them when they were alive.

* BrokenAngel: Discord implies he tried to saw her wings off at some point, but we never find out if it stuck. It turns out it become the Blank Wolf. She's also fated to ''always'' lose that wing no matter what the universe.
** ArtificialLimbs: Her later appearances in ''7 Dreams/Nightmares'' and Dark World describe one of her wings as looking like its made of clockwork, implying it's meant to replace the one Discord sawed off, meaning it ''did'' stick.
* CanisMajor: Seems to have a thing for wolves. She's the mother of the Blank Wolf and when [[spoiler:several of Manacle's rescued Scootaloos]] chose to join its job, they became wolves as well.
* ChainedByFashion: She wears broken manacles around her hooves.
* EvilWillFail: She gives a speech to Nyarlathotrot stating that no matter how much evil there is in any given world, there will always be ways for the oppressed to free themselves and heroes who exist to bring the villains down.
-->'''Rota Fortuna:''' You and the Shadows who birthed you wish to know why I do not interfere? Because as She Who Crafts the Lines of Fate, [[LawfulNeutral I must not have favorites.]] I must grant every single being in creation fair potential futures. Every being has good ends, bad ends, neutral ends, and every potential type of end, it's the sum of their choices. If I ever began playing favorites? I could become a much worse devil than Morning Star. But know this: no matter however I craft the many possibilities that await all life, while there are negative choice and consequences for them, there will ALWAYS be fates in EVERY world where monsters like you and the evils you sow fall. Even in the darkest of your tainted worlds, there will always exist a way for life to tear itself free from your tendrils. I swear on my Mother that is true.
* TheHecateSisters: Has a one mare version of this going on; she constantly shifts between being a filly, an adult mare, and an old mare.
* MamaBear: Comes to her descendant [[spoiler:Clover's]] defense against the group of {{Eldritch Abomination}}s [[SealedEvilInACan she helped seal in Tartarus.]]
* MeaningfulName: "Rota" from "rotate", as in the rotations of the wheel of fate. "Fortuna" is obvious.
* NonLinearCharacter: While all Alicorns and Draconequi qualify, she ''created'' the roads of Fate, even though she doesn't decide what someone's fate ''has'' to be and lets them choose. When she meets with [[spoiler:Apple Bloom]], the latter sees ''multiple'' versions of her, many of which are making many branching roads beginning with Fauna Luster's dawn and coming back together at Entropy's dusk, and even sees another Rota and [[spoiler:Apple Bloom]] that just branched off from them having their own conversation.
%%zce* PhysicalGoddess
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: Gives a [[BreakHerByTalking scathing]] one to [[spoiler: Nightmare Eclipse/Paradox]] when the latter is being defeated by the Dark World Elements of Harmony, which drives [[spoiler: her]] into a VillainousBSOD.
* ScrewDestiny: Less she has a problem with this as the ''mentality'', as in this universe it's completely misunderstanding how Fate actually ''works''. Many mortals either blame her for ''everything'', while many others hate her for ''existing''. Fate actually works by having ''many'' roads and which one is taken is entirely dependent on the choices of mortals. In actuality trying to do this trope intentionally is more likely to get you 'stuck in the wheel,' while accepting fate will permit this trope by allowing you to guide the wheel.
* TarotMotifs: 10, The Wheel Of Fate
* TrulySingleParent: The Blank Wolf is her severed wing turned into a sapient cosmic entity. She also creates Cardinal out of her own blood.
* YouCannotFightFate: Subverted. She laid the roads of fate, and can predict the probable outcome of something, but she doesn't ''force'' any particular fate on anyone, meaning they choose their own fate and it appears things can happen which even she can't predict. When that happens, she doesn't appear particularly shocked or angry, implying she's perfectly fine with ponies choosing to ScrewDestiny. Makes sense, given her Mother's belief in the importance of free will.
** It's later revealed she was actually the Goddess of Free Will.
** Turns out [[DoubleSubvertedTrope you can't, and yet you can.]] As she informs [[spoiler: Nightmare Eclipse/Paradox]], those who actively try to fight against fate are caught in the spokes of its wheel. Only those who embrace fate can recognize it and steer it in a new direction.
** PlayedStraight with Fortuna herself, as she will ''always'' lose her wing which would become the Blank Wolf ''somehow'' no matter what she does.

* ChekhovsGunman: First appears in one of the possible futures Applejack glimpses during her first look into the Truth, well before his introduction in Origins.
* DarkIsNotEvil: Despite his job and appearance (black with bone wings), he comes across as a pretty decent guy, if not burdened by the difficulty of his job.
* DefeatingTheUndefeatable: It's commonly stated prophetically that there is only one being that will ever defeat him, which he's used as a BadassBoast on a few occasions to people who ''aren't'' that person. [[spoiler:It's implied in several places it will be Twilight, or at least the Magician Alicorn, which is normally her.]]
* DontFearTheReaper: Despite being Death, he's not evil in the least and generally seems kind, even if he's burdened by his job (who wouldn't be?). He also doesn't seem to have a problem with allowing certain souls to remain on Earth until they've finished their UnfinishedBusiness, as happened with the G2 mane cast (none of them wanted to pass on until all of them were together). He even made it a point to Morning Star that the souls he ferries should know if the next place they're being transported to is fair, and they should be treated as LIVING BEINGS, not mere cargo to deliver.

[[folder:Morning Star Lucifer Belial]]
-->Voiced by Micheal A. Novelli

Once the alicorn god of Perfection and Beauty, he fell from grace and became the embodiment of Evil and Temptation.
----
* AntagonisticOffspring: To Father and Fauna Luster, his parents, who he saw as "unworthy" of ruling over creation.
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: Intended to be one of Perfection and Beauty, but ultimately became the embodiment of Evil and Temptation.
* BeardOfEvil: [[https://www.fimfiction.net/story/371672/1/mistakes-of-the-goddess-of-music/my-last-words-before-the-final-battle This illustration]] shows him with a goatee.
* BeautyIsBad: One of his Concepts is Beauty, yet like his namesake, he was the first alicorn to become a sinner. Many more evil acts followed.
* BigBrotherBully: Imperatix and Princeps realized their Concepts sometime after he did, making Morning Star older than them. He also expressed extreme disgust at ''their very Concepts'' coming into existence, and antagonized the twins for spoiling his "perfect" work. He was also a ControlFreak towards his other siblings, who all became fearful and reluctant to proceed with creating the universe without provoking his wrath, to the point where the Alicorn Elders had to step in.
* BirdsOfAFeather: Platonic example; he was once this to [[spoiler:Cadence, his older sister; they never quarreled with each other, and they worked so perfectly together that Cadence was called "[[AffectionateNickname Evening Star]]" by her family to compliment her brother's name]]. This is no longer the case after he fell to evil.
* BlackSheep: The only evil alicorn, to compliment Discord being the only evil draconequi.
* CharmPerson: Being the literal embodiment of beauty, he's so supernaturally beautiful that mortals are compelled to listen and agree with him. And unlike [[spoiler:Makarov/Nameless]], this isn't a reality alternation but him just being ''that'' supernaturally beautiful.
* ControlFreak: Flashbacks into his descent into evil showed that he was very demanding towards his siblings, telling them what they should do or shouldn't do with creation, and if anyone tried doing anything without HIS input, he would fly into a fury. His tyrannical behavior eventually made his siblings afraid of him and put off new ideas to avoid his wrath, slowing progress to a near-complete halt. He even viewed two of his siblings, Imperatrix and Princeps, as abominations because their Concepts didn't fit his standards. When Father and Fauna Luster tried to curb his behavior, it only made things worse as he later ended up rebelling.
* TheCorrupter: Goes with being Temptation. What little we see of him implies this.
* DivinelyAppearingDemons: Is a FallenAngel and in universe version of Satan, but is radiantly and impossibly beautiful. this is opposed to Nightmares, who tend to become more demonic in nature.
* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: During the early days of creation, he became a complete ControlFreak and started throwing tantrums every time one of his siblings created something that didn't fit into his vision of how the world should be, saying they were ruining his "perfect world". His behavior is somewhat similar to a book editor/film director/TV show producer rejecting the ideas of everyone else on their creative team because they believe only they are capable of making the finished product perfect.
* EngineeredHeroics: [[spoiler:His act of stealing and throwing Pandora's Box was intended to be this so he could save it and prove himself right to his siblings. It didn't turn out how he planned]]
* EvilMentor: Served as one for Discord, teaching him the art of manipulation. This later led to Rota Fortuna [[BrokenAngel losing one of her wings]].
* EvilMakesYouUgly: He himself remained supernaturally beautiful, but after his fall, his Realm (which [[GeniusLoci is him]]) became hideous, vile and awful, as unlike his outward appearance it represented who he genuinely is at heart. According to Cadence, [[DramaticIrony he didn't even notice the change]].
* TheEvilsOfFreeWill: Believes Free Will ruins the perfection of the universe and desires to destroy it. [[spoiler:Cadence]] suggests that he more or less just used Free Will as a scapegoat because he hated ''everything'' that wasn't his idea and just zeroed in on that particular Concept to focus on.
* FaceOfAnAngelMindOfADemon: He's the Concept of Beauty itself and thus supernaturally beautiful, but he's also literally evil incarnate.
* FakeUltimateHero: Attempted to make himself this by [[spoiler:stealing Pandora's Box of Dark Magic and using it in an attempt to make a problem only he could solve to convince his parents he was right.]]
* FallenAngel: Turned against his parents and tried to conquer the universe, believing himself to be more perfect than them. Given he's a SatanicArchetype, this is to be expected. [[spoiler:The only thing that makes him different from Celestia, who went through a similar situation, was that the latter regretted her decisions, begged for forgiveness, accepted her punishment, and was welcomed back by her family and relatives.]]
* GodOfEvil: Is literally the Concept of Evil.
* GoneHorriblyRight: He was born to become the Alicorn of Perfection. He came to regard himself as so absolutely perfect that no one could ever match him or his perfect vision for the world, and this resulted in him hating everyone and everything that wasn't him and therefore wasn't perfect in his eyes--mortals and the mortal world, the Draconequi, and his own family.
* GoodPowersBadPeople: Is the AnthropomorphicPersonification of Perfection and Beauty, but fell to evil and became the very Concept of it.
* GreaterScopeVillain: Serves as one for [[spoiler:Tirek and Lilith the First Witch]], as he was the one that [[spoiler:sent Pandora's Box of dark magic to the planet where they'd find it and use its power, which also makes him this to ever evil dark magic user to ever live.]]
* HumansAreFlawed: Considers mortals flawed, disgusting things and hates them with a passion.
* {{Irony}}: According to WordOfGod, Morning Star's problem is he never truly understood perfection, which means for all his smug superiority, he couldn't even understand ''himself''.
* ItIsDehumanizing: Refers to Fizzypop as 'it' constantly when meeting with her. D__t points out even the mortals he ''likes'' and refers to with the proper pronouns are more like toys or things to him than people.
* ItsAllAboutMe: The root cause of his fall: he refused to accept anything existing in the new universe that isn't ''exactly'' what he wanted it to be.
* LightIsNotGood: As one would expect of the [[SatanicArchetype Satan analog]]. He's the AnthropomorphicPersonification of Perfection and Beauty, but also the incarnation of Evil itself.
* ManipulativeBastard: He taught Discord to be one. Not a surprise, considering [[SatanicArchetype who he's based on.]]
* MeaningfulName: His name is what Lucifer (the devil's real name) means. His middle name actually ''is'' Lucifer, and his last name is Belial, another name for the Devil.
* {{Narcissist}}: According to LooseCanon, he literally invented lust upon seeing his own reflection after gaining a gender.
* NonLinearCharacter: Possibly the only aversion, as he's imprisoned. Though played straight in some regards, as he was able to appear in the G3 Apocalypse which happened after his imprisonment from the perspective of the other deities besides D__t.
* NotMeThisTime:
** D__t accuses him of sabotaging the Wish Spell because he couldn't stand the idea that mortals could make something more perfect than he could. Morning Star replies that he really was innocent of ''that'' crime.
** He also didn't plant the idea in Cadenza's head to try and kill Amicitia. If anything, he was delighted at Amicitia's sense of order and reason.
* TheParagonAlwaysRebels: Is quite often mentioned as having been loved by his siblings [[spoiler:especially Cadence, who was so close to him that she was called "Evening Star"]] and was beautiful to apparently a CharmPerson level. And yet he fell and became the literal incarnation of evil. The irony is from his perspective, ''his'' paragons, the Glow Siblings, rebelled by choosing to become something different from what he intended in G3.
* PerfectionIsStatic: Morning Star thinks that change, evolution, and chaos are aberrations that only exist to mess up his idea of a perfect universe. His idea of a wonderful world is one with no conflict, violence or natural disasters, populated by gold and silver ponies who never change from birth to death and create nothing but the most beautiful works of art. As he is literally Perfection Incarnate, he could be considered the literal embodiment of never-changing perfection.
%%* PhysicalGod
* PredecessorVillain: To Discord, his pupil.
* {{Pride}}: As with [[{{Satan}} who he's based on]], this is Morning Star's FatalFlaw. He sincerely believed that he knows better than literally everyone else, including His Parents.
* PrimaDonnaDirector: He behaved like one when the Alicorns were working on creating the universe and its living things. He would yell at and insult his siblings if they didn't incorporate his ideas exactly the way he wanted or created something he thought was illogical or ugly.
* RedeemingReplacement: [[spoiler:Rarity has the potential to become this for him as Concept of Beauty and Perfection]].
* SatanicArchetype: He is the Devil Tarot after all. His full name is also Morning Star Lucifer Belial, all of which are names for the Devil in some way. Given a human world version of him exists and so does Christianity (with Satan being mentioned by name at one point), it's possible he's ''actually'' Satan, or at least his inspiration.
* SatanIsGood: Morning Star wants everyone in creation to think he's this, he thinks he's this, and mortals who meets him are quickly taken in with this idea due to him being just so handsome... then you find out its his Parents who believe in free will, and he wants it gone from the universe. He's also a complete narcissist who views even mortals he likes as closer to toys.
* SealedEvilInACan: Was imprisoned for his crimes, but released by Havoc to lead the Draconequi in the war. His fate afterwards is unknown, but WordOfGod has said he was either killed in the war or imprisoned in {{Hell}} as part of the Draconequi's end of peace treaty between them and the Alicorns.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: Is imprisoned in Tartarus during the story proper, but was Discord's EvilMentor, [[spoiler:indirectly gave Lord Tirek his power and created the Children of Lilith]], and created the four mortals who's souls would eventually become Silver Spoon, Diamond Tiara, Apple Bloom, and Golden Tiara.
* SoProudOfYou: By his standards, he showed a tiny hint of pride when his pupil Discord was able to permanently main Rota Fortuna, the Concept of Free Will and the embodiment of the thing he hated the most.
* SpoiledBrat: During the creation of the world, he would yell at his siblings and throw massive tantrums if their ideas didn't line up with his plans and designs. Combine that with the power of a PhysicalGod who was literally born to be the embodiment of perfection, and you have a recipe for disaster.
* StealingTheCredit: Claims he made the Glow Sisters perfect, but D__t points out all he did was give them their magic, they became the paragons they were on their own. Indeed, their most heroic shown acts are things Morning Star would never have done. According to WordOfGod, he only actually served as the {{Muse}} who inspired the unicorn scientists that gave them their powers to do so, meaning while it was his idea originally literally everything else was the work of mortals.
* TarotMotifs: 15, The Devil.
* TheParagonAlwaysRebels: As Concept of Perfect, he's was originally supposed to be perfect and was considered one of the greater Alicorns. However, he fell to evil and became the devil he would be known as.
* UltimateLifeform:
** Was intended to be the deity equivalent of this as the Concept of Perfection. Unfortunately, he believed he was ''more'' perfect than the elders and turned into the Concept of Evil instead. In his lecture to Justitia, he still refers to himself as 'the Perfect Being', however.
** He seemed to believe the Glow Sisters he helped create were this. WordOfGod notes this was the ''one time'' in his entire existence that he ever once did his ''actual'' purpose of inspiring mortals to do something truly great, even if it was only to serve his own ego.
* UncertainDoom: After the Draconequi-Alicorn War, he was either killed by the Draconequi as part of the peace treaty or banished back to Hell.
* VillainHasAPoint: He's an apathetic, sociopathic monster, but he has a point that the mortals caused the G3 cataclysm themselves. He's wrong in that it does little to prove he'd be any better as the one in charge of it.
* VillainOfAnotherStory: He's clearly a big threat and a SatanicArchetype, but Discord is the BigBad and not him. [[spoiler:We finally see some of his villainy when he sends Pandora's Box of dark magic to the planet.]]

!!Princess Fidelitas Moksha Equestria [[spoiler:(Eclipse's Rainbow Dash)/Prism Rush]]

--> "Endings are supposed to be new beginnings, not the same beginning."

----
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: Of Loyalty and Breaking of Cycles.
* AntiMagic: Her very existence negates time loops like those [[spoiler:Nightmare Eclipse's]] powers ran on, making her a ManOfKryptonite to such entities. She's also able to negate any additional experience or power ups someone exploiting a GroundhogDayLoop gained from previous loops, resetting them to the 'baseline'. [[spoiler:She still kept the Element of Free Will, and thus can completely negate any brainwashing.]] Though WordOfGod is it doesn't work on ''natural'' causality loops.
* BigDamnHeroes: [[spoiler:Arrives to save Gilda from Nightmare Nihilis and hold her off to give the heroes time to recover.]]
* ForWantOfANail: She hates a lot of 'quick fix' solutions ''because'' of this trope. Mainly ones that attempt to prevent Sunset Shimmer from stealing Twilight's crown, as they fail to account for the future villains that would inevitably arise and now be unopposed.
* FromASingleCell: [[spoiler:Still has her Element of Chaos and after her body is vaporized by Nightmare Nhilis, it regenerates her body underground allowing her to ambush her later on and restrain her.]]
* GoodVersusGood: [[spoiler:Her fight with [[FanFic/TheInfiniteLoops the Cyclists]] is this, as they're not ''bad'' and neither is she, but as an outside force no one is aware of, no one thinks she's ''actually'' there to do what she says she is (fix Yggdrasil so the loops can end) and she has to keep them busy long enough for Princess Praegressus to do it. She even admits they're not bad ponies and she didn't want to hurt them.]]
* GuardianOfTheMultiverse: Is a multiverse traveler in her job. She's also explicitly designed to be an [[spoiler:Eclipse]] killer in case someone like her ever appears again.
* GroundhogDayLoop: She breaks these simply be ''existing'' in a world line.
* ManOfKryptonite: To [[spoiler:Nightmare Eclipse]], as she's tailor-made to negate the powers and abilities of her and any being ''like'' her to prevent another such evil from ever coming about. It's shown in LooseCanon this ability seems to work by separating the loops into separate timelines were it ended.
* MeaningfulName: Her name, Fidelitas, means "faithfulness". [[spoiler:Considering she's Eclipse!Rainbow Dash redeemed and ascended to Concepthood, this was a given.]] Her middle name Moksha is a Hindu philosophy referring to liberation and release, specifically the freedom from the cycle of rebirth. Fits her quite well as Alicorn of Breaking Cycles.
* ObviousRulePatch: According to WordOfGod, it's possible she's one of these InUniverse to prevent another [[spoiler:Nightmare Eclipse]] from ''ever'' happening again.
* OutOfContinues: Has this as an ''explicit power'': she can end any timeloop, and thus anyone who relies on 'resetting' when they lose can't do so when she's involved.
* OxymoronicBeing: Notes herself that Loyalty and Breaking Cycles can seem opposite, but also that the true nature of Concepts means they have more than one side to them and that balance is what separates them from Nightmares.
* SecretIdentity: [[spoiler: She poses as a unicorn named Prism Rush during the events of the Last Battle Arc while assisting the heroes as she has to hide from the Wolf. !Draconequi
[[folder:General Tropes]]
----
* AlliterativeFamily: Each of the Draconequi children has a name or a secondary name that begins with the letter "D" -- Discordance, Destruction, D___t, Strife (Dispute), Pandora (Desire), Anarchy (Disorder), and Rancor (Disruption), who inherited Destruction's secondary name after his death.
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: Of chaos and Nature's Fury.
* BarredFromTheAfterlife: Like the Alicorns, they can't enter Heaven. Though they ''can'' enter Hell, that's likely because they help their Father torment the condemned.
* BigScrewedUpFamily: To be expected from an entire family made up of chaos gods. Entropy regularly poofs her husband Havoc out of existence (and, being as powerful as her, he wills himself back into existence every time), erased her oldest child permanently from existence [[spoiler:because he was planning to kill all the Alicorns and Draconequi and make himself the only god of the universe]], and gave birth to her and Havoc's youngest daughter Rancor for the sole purpose of [[spoiler:killing Dark World!Discord to take back Destruction's power]]. Not to mention the fact that Discord ate his brother Destruction during the Draconequi-Alicorn War, and then became even more ridiculously powerful by eating his Father's avatar.
* BlueAndOrangeMorality: Being Nature's Fury, their morality is a bit different than mortals. According to Celestia, their form of compassion is based on memories as their Concepts mean most of them can't afford to have favorites when it comes to the mortal world (for example, Strife being Natural Selection can't afford to grow attached to one species and favor it when she's Survival of the Fittest).
* CannibalismSuperpower: Transforming into a full Draconequus involves devouring hordes of Shadows of Existence. Rancor does this immediately after hatching from her egg, and [[spoiler:Dark World!Fluttercruel does it when she ascends from a pony-draconequus hybrid to a complete Concept.]] Besides that, [[spoiler:during the Draconequi-Alicorn War, when Destruction and Discord were both dying, Discord devoured his brother and then his father's Avatar, becoming one of the most powerful Concepts in existence as a result]].
* CharacterizationMarchesOn: When the Draconequi were first depicted in ''Origins'', they were essentially depicted as akin to Devils. Only barely kept in check by the Alicorns. With Havoc and Entropy in particular being portrayed as [[GodOfEvil Gods Of Evil]]. Later depictions would emphasize their DarkIsNotEvil side and the more positive traits to their nature, showing them to be a force of GOOD in the world (albeit a very [[GoodIsNotNice harsh]] one). This is Justified since their first depiction was from [[UnreliableNarrator Celestia's (somewhat understandably) biased recount of past events]].
* CompleteImmortality: The only known things that can truly kill an Draconeui are the power of Entropy or a Concept Killing Weapon. In the mortal world they're very hard to kill and can erase damage , and even then 'killing' them merely destroys their physical form and reverts them to their cosmic self, which is even more impossible to kill. And even then ''only'' a member of their family can safely do the job. However, neither of the known methods are recommended, as permanently killing a Concept means what they're AnthropomorphicPersonification of ''never existed''.
* DarkIsNotEvil: Their concepts are shown to have a good and bad side.
** Havoc embodies fear as nightmare fuel and as a survival instinct that keeps living things alive.
** Entropy embodies oblivion as the end of all things both good and bad.
** Strife embodies the cruelty of nature and the will of life to survive, evolve and grow.
** Destruction embodies the devastation of destruction, but also the kind of destruction that is necessary for life to begin again.
** Anarchy embodies the bloodshed of rebellion and freeing ponies from oppression under government rule.
** Pandora embodies insanity, the joy of imagination, and the artist's creative mind.
** Rancor embodies revenge, violence (the kind that harms the innocent and the kind that protects them), and the passion and enthusiasm that drives one to fight for their beliefs.
* EveryoneHasStandards: The one thing every Concept agreed on was that the Windigos had to be stopped before they wiped out all life on Equus. Despite not being allowed to directly interfere with the mortal world (for good reason), both families did everything they could to help the ponies get rid of the Windigos by any means necessary. Point-blank: the Draconequi are no strangers to butting heads with the Alicorns over the natures of order and chaos, but the last thing any of them want is a frozen world devoid of all life where ''neither'' can exist.
* GoodIsNotNice: Despite their sometimes cruel nature, they ultimately DO want life to triumph and flourish, they just take a more "[[SinkOrSwimMentor sink or swim]]" approach as opposed to the more nurturing approach of the Alicorns.
* JerkassGod: Sometimes, their BlueAndOrangeMorality can make them rather harsh, but they're generally not INTENTIONALLY malevolent and desire for life to thrive as much as the Alicorns do. It's ''Discord'' who plays the trope straight, to monstrous degrees.
* LiteralSplitPersonality: They have an ability called Detachments, which is their analog to the Avatar's ability to create Avatars. They create a whole version of one of their animal parts that contains a component of their personality. Their sense of control over themselves is a ''major'' factor on how good at this they are.
* MixAndMatchCritters: Like Discord, they're all this, only with different animals.
* NonLinearCharacter: Normally exist outside of time and can travel up and down the timestream at will. Though the future is still in flux, they can see potential futures.
* NoSell: Attempting to use their own Concept against them will fail. For example, Rancor, Concept of Violence, cannot be harmed by physical attacks, and Pandora, Concept of Imagination, is immune to weapons created by imagination. For unknown reasons, this immunity does not apply to the Alicorns.
* PhysicalGod: They are quite literally forces of nature, and their power over the concept they represent is absolute, and they're capable of [[RealityWarper altering reality while outside of it]]. While they're nearly impossible to truly kill, even their mortal incarnations are incredibly hard to kill.
* ThePowerOfTheVoid: In contrast to the Alicorn's ThePowerOfCreation, which they lack (they're only capable of rearranging matter). Pandora is the only Draconequus capable of creating in any form due to being Imagination, and judging by [[spoiler:the Shadow of Chernobull]], hers is imperfect compared to the Alicorns'.
* SentientCosmicForce: They're not governing or controlling their concept, they ''are'' their Concept.
-->'''Narrator, about the newborn Rancor:''' All violence everywhere was her. Every act of revenge was her. Every heart gasping for air in its own passions was her. She did not rule over them like a queen or attend them like a janitor, she was them. She had always been them. They did not fuel her existence, she was the source of their existence, to put it hopelessly crudely.
* TimeAbyss: Similarly to the Alicorns.

!! Draconequi Elders
[[folder:Havoc]]
!!Havoc

-->Voiced by Adam Ferguson
----
* AbusiveParents: Loves to see his children's plans blow up in their faces and has no qualms about brutally punishing them himself. Though part of this may be more due to the Draconequi's BlueAndOrangeMorality, as their standards of 'fair punishment' seem far different than mortals and Alicorns, and he seems to have a decent relationship with Rancor. It's also stated he's still sore over Entropy erasing their son and he's more willing to listen to his children's backtalk.
* AFormYouAreComfortableWith: Subverted. Rancor and Discord mention he has a pony Avatar to use, but actually ''wants'' it to be scary for the ponies. Given what he represents, it's little surprise really.
** He tries to actually do this trope [[spoiler:while meeting with Celestia, Luna, and Twilight to clear up some misconceptions]], but has some difficulty with it.
** [[spoiler:Phobia manages to pull it off though, though is also somewhat creepy.]]
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: Of [[NightmareFuel Mass Hysteria]] and Fear in general. The survival instinct is stated to come from Him.
** He's also the incarnation of Hell, and thus the punisher of those who live there.
* AttackOfTheFiftyFootWhatever: His ''teeth'' are roughly two times the size of Discord. To note, this is likely him choosing to be ''small'' his true form dwarfs ''universes''.
* BigBad: Of the first part of Origins.
** DiscOneFinalBoss: Until his Avatar is mortally wounded by Cadence and eaten by Discord, at which point Discord took over. Technically speaking, he may have become this even earlier, as his Avatar went rogue and wasn't under his control anymore by that point.
* BigGood: Despite his Concept, he's technically also this, as He is also fear saving lives. [[spoiler:During the Finale Arc, he manifests as a foal named Phobia and gives the CMC some help dealing with what [[RewritingReality his son did]].]]
* BlueAndOrangeMorality: Being Mass Hysteria personified, he considers watching terrified ponies 'fun family bonding time'. However, he ''does'' comprehend love and compassion though mainly that ponies fear for their loved ones. He's also the origin of the survival instinct and does enjoy watching fear save lives.
** He explains later that he has many 'faces', some of which seem contradictory, due to being one of the fundamental aspects of creation.
--> '''Havoc''': I am a father, a tormentor, a trickster, a teacher, a punisher, a husband, a guardian, a watchmen, etc, you expect of the four fundamental rules of this universe to have only one face?
* BrownNoteBeing: Looking at his true form will terrify ponies so badly they'll likely never sleep again. His ''voice'' will reduce them to horrified wrecks. And that's apparently the ''best'' case scenario.
* TheChessmaster: Shows he's one heck of a benevolent one (no pun intended) with his actions to [[spoiler:counter Discord during the Final Arc. He sets up for Button Mash to spread knowledge of RPG rules so that when Discord's endgame starts, those rules become part of the world. He then sends Button Mash home ''before'' it happens while he and Entropy set the CMC in place to be able to counter Discord's plans, resulting in Button being saved from corruption by his moon rock and getting video game based powers. He then pushes the CMC in the direction to meet up with him and learn the rules from him, as well as getting a powerful ally.]] It should be noted that he does all this while [[spoiler:incarnating as a foal named Phobia and without Discord being any the wiser.]]
* DarkIsNotEvil: It's stated by the Father of All Alicorns that despite what He personifies, He's NOT evil. He just has BlueAndOrangeMorality. It's stated the survival instinct comes from Him and that He ''does'' enjoy the fact fear saves lives. The fact that [[spoiler:Dark World!Fluttershy]] recognizes he and the Draconequi are this earns His respect.
** It's also pointed out that he's the ''Warden'' of Hell, not evil incarnate. His job is to keep the wicked trapped there and punish them for their wrongdoing, not ''cause'' the wrong doing that sent them there in the first place. Even his role in [[spoiler:Starlight's Trial]] was simply being the tempter to test her resolve rather than genuinely wanting to doom her.
** [[spoiler:He's basically the BigGood of the Finale Arc.]]
* DidYouThinkICantFeel: Luna realizes that even if He doesn't show it openly, Havoc genuinely does love His children and is still grieving D___t's demise. [[spoiler:When Bright Eyes actually tells him she's sorry for His loss, Havoc says its the first time anyone has ever told him that and accepts her apology for destroying D___t's Shadow.]]
** When [[spoiler:D___t's Shadow is destroyed]], Pandora and Strife have a conversation right in front of Havoc about how D___t [[spoiler:wasn't a good Draconequus]] without realizing that [[spoiler:Havoc is actually crying inside at D___t's Shadow being destroyed.]]
* DimensionLord: Of Pony Hell aka Tatarus.
* DraggedOffToHell: Being he ''is'' Hell, he's capable of this, but only claims evil, unrepentant souls. [[spoiler:He's once shown doing this to the Diamond Dog that murdered Shining's uncle Cool Sun and was killed by Shining Armor by swallowing the murderer's soul whole. Same goes for Smaug, the Nameless Filly and Tirek. He even did this to Paxphobia through his Mud Briar avatar in the epilogue.]]
* EldritchAbomination: Is the AnthropomorphicPersonification of Mass Hysteria and so much as ''looking'' at him will leave a mortal unable to sleep for the rest of their life ''at best''. Thankfully, he's so powerful and massive, entering the mortal universe isn't possible for him.
** He states at one point that if he manifested an Avatar into the mortal world powerful enough to beat Discord, it's mere ''manifesting'' would [[RegionalRedecoration level the eastern seaboard of Equestria.]]
* EmotionsVsStoicism: Played with in regards to him and the Father: Havoc is Fear and very energetic, hammy, and emotional, while the Father is Wisdom and very logical, rational, and stoic. However, they each have some aspect of the other end of the spectrum: Havoc is a very intelligent long term planner quite capable of logical thinking.
* FightingAShadow: Created an Avatar he used to face the Alicorns on the battlefield during the Alicorn/Draconequi War with only a fraction of his power, since he's normally too powerful to do that. It/He went insane and [[RogueDrone he lost control of it, however]]. Havoc isn't happy about it.
* FriendlyEnemy: With the Father of Alicorns, who he calls "Buddy". Downplayed, as they're not normally enemies at all, and more act as balancing forces to one another.
* GeniusLoci: Pony Hell is actually located inside his body. If he dies, Pony Hell will cease to exist.
* GenderBender: During [[spoiler:Starlight's trial]] he took the form of a female Alicorn [[spoiler:version of her]].
* GoodFeelsGood: After he [[spoiler: accepts Bright Eyes' sincere apology]] he says that it felt good to do so.
* GracefulLoser: After [[spoiler:Starlight's trial,]] where he lost because [[spoiler:she admitted her sins and wanted forgiven]], he tells the Father it was fun [[FriendlyEnemy acting like they're poker buddies]] before leaving to welcome [[EvilOverlord Film Critique]] to Pony Hell.
** He points out to [[spoiler:Celestia, Luna, and Twilight]] that honestly holds no ill will towards the Alicorns for winning the war, and that Discord being a sore loser is something Concepts SHOULDN'T be.
* ItAmusedMe: When Starlight asked the Father [[spoiler:why Havoc pretended to have a VillainousBreakdown when he saw he was losing the trial for her soul]], the Father responds simply that it amused Havoc to do so.
* JerkassGod: Most of his kids got it from him. (Pandemonium appears to have gotten his HiddenHeartOfGold only).
** He points out later that this is only one 'face' of him, and other aspects of his being are far more benevolent.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: The jerk part is just one 'face' of him, he can actually be rather civil and easy to get along with.
* {{Hell}}: His domain.
* LargeAndInCharge: See AttackOfTheFiftyFootWhatever.
* LargeHam: Discord got it from Him. He especially hams it up [[spoiler:during Starlight's trial, where he basically acts like a character from ''Franchise/AceAttorney''.]]
* LastSecondChance: [[spoiler:Offers Discord one during the reality reboot, not wanting to lose ''another'' son and well aware that the FinalBattle ''won't'' end well for him even if he wins. He's genuinely upset when Discord refuses it.]]
* MeaningfulName: In addition to his first name, the last name of the Draconequi (his children, and thus likely his) is Typhon, the father of all monsters from mythology. Alternatively, since he is powerful enough to NoSell a Retgone from Entropy, he causes "havoc" for his wife's powers, making him the one person she is unable to truly erase and, by extension, the only one not afraid of her. [[ILoveYouBecauseICantControlYou That's probably why he's Entropy's husband]].
* MultiArmedAndDangerous: One of the only tips we've gotten as to what He actually looks like is that he has innumerable limbs, some of which are claws or tentacles.
* NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast: Havoc is a pretty intimidating name. One of his titles is Emperor of Phobias, though he's [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking also called]] [[Anime/DragonballZ Home For Infinite Losers]]. Given his personality, that last one is probably self proclaimed.
* NightmareFuel: [[InvokedTrope Is literally the God of this]], being the AnthropomorphicPersonification of Mass Hysteria and Fear. His symbol actually takes the form of whatever the viewer fears most.
* NonLinearCharacter: Like the other deities, only as a TopGod he exists in ''every timeline at once.''
* PapaWolf:
** He has no qualms about letting his family get ''themselves'' in trouble, so long as they deserved it. [[GodOfGood Fauna Luster help you]] if you hurt them unprovoked, because she and her husband are the only ones who ''can''.
** It's also stated by the Father that He ''does'' hold it against Entropy that She erased their son [[spoiler:and even cried when D___t's Shadow was destroyed.]].
* PetTheDog:
** Has had a few instances of this such as [[spoiler:letting Dark World!Fluttershy take Fluttercruel both due to her argument and respect that she feared for her daughter's safety more than she feared Him]] and [[spoiler:accepting Bright Eye's apology for destroying what remained of D__t.]]
** [[spoiler:Appearing to Celestia, Luna, and Twilight to not only explain away misconceptions they had, but generally be polite and a good host towards them. He even tells Celestia and Luna their family ISN'T extinct like they thought it was.]]
** He and Entropy will never disturb or otherwise interfere with mortal souls before they are born.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Relatively speaking. Between him and Entropy, he's the one most willing to listen to his children's gripes and actually ''does'' care about them. He also was willing to [[spoiler:hear Dark World!Fluttershy]] out when she came to [[spoiler:rescue Dark World!Fluttercruel from the Draconequi]] and [[spoiler:handed Fluttercruel over]] without a fuss when she proved her point.
* RunningGag: Him annoying Entropy, her erasing him from existence, then him willing himself back into it.
* SadClown: Despite His happy go lucky personality and LargeHam tendencies (which are genuine as well), He genuinely does grieve over D___t being erased from existence and has never forgiven Entropy for it, he just doesn't show it externally. [[spoiler:When D___t's Shadow was destroyed by Bright Eyes, he actually ''cried'', but no one saw it except the souls in Pony Hell (which ''is'' Him) when it suddenly began to rain.]]
* SatanicArchetype: Well, not exactly (that would be Morning Star), but his domain is essentially Pony Hell, and he has a chariot pulled by the damned ponies sent there.
* SpikyHair: [[spoiler:Possessed by his Phobia avatar.]]
* TakeOurWordForIt: His true form is never actually described except for very vague details such as him being a giant horned serpent and having innumerable claws and tentacles. Otherwise he's simply described as every fear that ever has, is, and ever will be personified. According to WordOfGod, he didn't want to give an in-depth description of Havoc as nothing could ever be scary enough to live up to what He is. Most pictures take this into account by being extremely blurred with no real details.
* TheOlderImmortal: Is called an 'Elder' for a reason. He's been around for ''multiple'' universes' entire life span.
* TimeAbyss: Is older than the universe several times over. In fact, according to Razzaroo, he predates ''time itself''.
* TopGod: One of four, the other three being his wife Entropy, and Fauna Luster and her husband, the Father of All Alicorns.
* {{Troll}}: Seems to get a kick out of being this towards his wife, Entropy. Notably, he's one of the only beings in existence that ''can''. Well, now we know where Discord got it. The big difference between him and his son is Havoc doesn't direct his love of trolling towards ''EVERYONE''.
* UniversallyBelovedLeader: You know some of the damned souls in Pony Hell? WordOfGod says that some of them would try to ''avenge his death'' if somebody managed to kill him!
* VillainSong: Has one called 'Here's To Chaos', a rewrite of the G1 villain Lavan's song 'Here's to Power'. Though, in universe, it's said Strife taught Lavan it as a tribute to Havoc.
* YouCannotGraspTheTrueForm: WordOfGod has confirmed that the same things that apply to the Father of All Alicorns apply to him. That on top of the fact [[BrownNote merely looking at him]] is enough to render you incapable of sleeping for the rest of your days ''at best''.
* YouGotGuts: When [[spoiler:Dark World!Fluttershy entering Entropy's Realm for the sake of her daughter]], He tells her she's impressed Him by doing so and thus he'll hear her out.

!Paxphobia

* AbusiveParents: Allowed [[spoiler:one of his sons to ''eat'' the other one, then fed himself to him.]] This is something Havoc is show having guilt for, as while he was no longer in control of the Avatar by that point, it was still his creation. [[spoiler:When it resurrects, it instantly captures Discord and uses him as a living battery in the final battle.]]
* BrownNote: As with the entity who created it, the Avatar's would drive any mortal who looked upon it insane with terror at worst and leave them with night terrors for the rest of their lives at best. [[spoiler:Celestia has to quickly cast a spell to filter its appearance when it manifests in the final battle as the TrueFinalBoss.]]
* DrunkOnTheDarkSide: The reason it ultimately went rogue: it became so drunk on the chaos of the war it went mad and Havoc lost control of it, at which point it began doing things Havoc himself would have never done.
* EldritchAbomination: The Avatar of ones and has many of their traits. [[spoiler:As shown heavily in the final battle.]]
* FightingAShadow: Was an Avatar of Havoc's sent to fight in the Alicorn/Draconequi War, so it being destroyed would have no effect on the real Havoc. Unfortunately for everyone, it [[RogueDrone went insane and out of his control.]]
* GreaterScopeVillain: After going insane and breaking free of Havoc's control, it set in motion the events of the entire series by allowing [[spoiler:Discord to consume it and Destruction]], empowering him to go on to become the threat he eventually becomes. [[spoiler:It only plays a main role after reforming as the TrueFinalBoss.]]
* MadGod: Went so insane that Havoc lost control of it. Despite only being an Avatar, it's so powerful it more than counts as a god in its own right. [[spoiler:At least 1/3 of Discord's power, possibly more, came from it, and that was ''after'' it'd been mortally wounded and severely weakened.]]
* MeaningfulName: Paxphobia comes from the latin word Pax, meaning peace, and is given the inuniverse definition of 'Fear of Peace.' It's an Avatar created specifically to fight in a war [[spoiler:and continues to fight its war long after its over.]]
* MultiArmedAndDangerous: As with Havoc, it has extra limbs. [[spoiler:This is one of the few concrete details Twilight can grasp of it when it manifests in the final confrontation and Celestia has to put a perception filter around it, and he makes liberal use of them.]]
* NotQuiteDead: Dark World reveals in a sense it still exists inside [[spoiler:Discord]], such as when it attempted to manifest on its own. [[spoiler:It actually ''does'' manifest during the final battle of the main universe as the TrueFinalBoss.]]
* RogueDrone: As its name suggests, it's an Avatar of Havoc's sent to fight on his part in the Alicorn/Draconequi War. Unfortunately for all involved, it went so insane that Havoc lost control over it and began doing things Havoc would have never done. It tries to manifest itself in Dark World [[spoiler: Fluttercruel's defeat]] but is [[spoiler:obliterated by the Elements]] before it can. [[spoiler:It ''does'' manage to manifest after Nightmare Nhilis's defeat due to the marathon of things happening that negatively impacted Discord's ability to control it, becoming the TrueFinalBoss.]]
* SanitySlippage: It became [[DrunkOnTheDarkSide drunk on the chaos of the Alicorn/Draconequi War]] and ended up going ''very'' insane. ''By Draconequi [[BlueAndOrangeMorality standards.]]'' This was especially bad as Havoc lost control of it and all escape routes from the war had been closed at the time.
* SuperToughness: [[spoiler:While it deals serious damage, he's able to take ''multiple'' shots of the Elements and ultimately takes a CombinedEnergyAttack to destroy.]]
* TrueFinalBoss: [[spoiler:Manifests after Nightmare Nhilis is beaten due to the marathon of things that happen to Discord during the final battle weakening his control over it and Destruction enough for the Avatar to break free and reassert itself as the final enemy.]]
* VillainousLegacy: Was fatally wounded by [[spoiler:Cadenza]] at the end of the war [[spoiler:then eaten by Discord by its own accord]], but is directly responsible for Discord's rampage [[spoiler:by giving him the necessary power up to become the tyrant he currently is.]] It ''tries'' to manifest in Dark World, but [[spoiler:is destroyed by the Elements while it's still forming]] and thus never gets the chance. [[spoiler:However, the marathon of things that happen to Discord during the FinalBattle results in Discord losing his control over it, and it manifesting when Nhilis is beaten to become the TrueFinalBoss.]]
* VillainOverride: [[spoiler:Tries to do this on Fluttercruel, but Fluttershy counters it.]]
* VillainSong: Has one called 'Here's To Chaos', a rewrite of the G1 villain Lavan's song 'Here's to Power'. Though, in universe, it's said Strife taught Lavan it as a tribute to Havoc, which implies the real Havoc ''did'' sing the song elsewhere, as by the time the Avatar sung it it'd already gone berserk and out of his control.

[[folder:Entropy]]
!!Entropy

-->Voiced by Heather Gold
----
* AbusiveParents: Routinely imprisoned Destruction in a black hole just to build his addiction to destruction to it's breaking point. Though truth be told, it isn't really her fault, nothing really has any value to her due to what she personifies. That said, Strife and Rancor both seem to be loyal to her. [[spoiler:It's later revealed that this was because Destruction ''not'' doing his job had catastrophic consequences and making him do it was the LesserOfTwoEvils.]]
** She ''[[RetGone erased one of her children from existence]]''! [[spoiler:Though it turned out that wasn't ''entirely'' unwarranted.]]
* AmnesiacGod: [[spoiler:As Maud Pie.]]
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: Of Heat Death and Nothingness.
* AttackOfTheFiftyFootWhatever: She's described as being so huge, the pupil of her eye dwarfs Celestia.
* BerserkButton: Stating anything about her except she exists, calling her a Draconequi, or that she looks like one, and actually being ''hurt''.
* BlueAndOrangeMorality: She's the embodiment of the End of All Things, thus ''nothing'' has value to her, even her own children, as all things are equal in her eyes. Even that is somewhat of an oversimplification of her morality. It's also stated she has an understanding of love; love comes from nothing.
* BroughtDownToBadass: [[spoiler:Her Mrs. Void avatar is turned into a mortal pony and separated from the rest of her. Said mortal pony is Maud Pie.]]
* BrownNoteBeing: The Alicorns feel horribly wrong and terrified when in her presence.
* TheComicallySerious: Is never played for laughs herself, but considering [[LargeHam what]] [[ItAmusedMe her]] [[{{Troll}} husband]] is like, [[LikeAnOldMarriedCouple their interactions]] are sometimes comical ''because'' of her seriousness.
* CallingYourAttacks: Always yells "YOU DON'T EXIST!" before erasing someone or something from existence.
* CanonCharacterAllAlong: [[spoiler:Maud Pie turns out to be her mortal incarnation.]]
* DarkIsNotEvil: Despite what she represents and her general demeanor, Entropy is not evil. She has no desire for anything to end before its time and she also represents the end of ''suffering''. The latter part was why she united with Fauna Luster against the Pain Monsters they and their offspring sealed away. [[spoiler:It's also why she plays a major part in helping stop Discord's RewritingReality endgame plan.]] She's a natural part of existence and just as vital to it as her fellow Elders.
* DidntSeeThatComing: Due to being…well, an EldritchAbomination, she didn't consider the Windigos would be ''destroyed'', harming her in the process.
* DimensionLord: Of Oblivion, basically. Her domain is inhabited by those who have been erased from existence.
* DisproportionateRetribution: ''Stating'' anything about her in her presence other than the fact she exists is a crime punishable by being [[RetGone erased from existence]]. As is calling ''her'' a Draconequi…or saying she looks like one, because she came first…Basically, ''any'' slight she perceives as committed against her is punishable by this.
* TheDreaded: The only beings that don't fear her are the other Elders, who are the only ones as powerful as she is. Even ''Discord'' seems quite afraid of ticking her off.
* EmotionlessGirl: [[spoiler:As Maud.]]
* EldritchAbomination: Remember the Windigos? They're ''tiny'' pieces of her! And like the other Elders, every other alternate version of her is a part of the same person [[spoiler:which means every Maud Pie is her.]]
* EvenEvilHasStandards: Well, evil is debatable, but she [[spoiler:considered genocide of the gods too extreme (which is why she erased D___t).]]
* TheEvilsOfFreeWill: While she doesn't really do anything about it, she believes beings with freewill will inevitably destroy themselves. The fact that life keeps proving her wrong is one of the few things that annoys her. Though given this information came from Celestia, who [[UnreliableNarrator doesn't have the most favorable opinion of the Draconequi]], it's unknown how true this is.
* EvilMatriarch: Treats her family as tools to be used and disposed of as necessary. Maybe. Given she's an EldritchAbomination that the ''gods'' consider that trope, it's hard to tell.
* EvilVirtues: Well, Evil is hard to qualify due to that whole "different morality system" business, but Entropy has no interest in Lying.
* FacePalm: Has this reaction to [[spoiler:Havoc pretending to have a VillainousBreakdown during Starlight's trial for his own amusement.]]
* FireIceDuo: The Ice to Fauna Luster's Fire. The Windigos, spirits of ice, are Entropy's creations, and Fauna Luster's Fire of Friendship is the source of power for the Elements of Harmony.
* {{Hypocrite}}: For all her [[HannibalLecture talk]] to Celestia about taking responsibility for and accepting the consequences of one's actions, she becomes unreasonable after her Windigo plan backfires. This is eventually negated, as Celestia didn't know the whole story [[spoiler:and Cadenza reveals she ''did'' indeed accept responsibility, but had different reasons for desiring Ponykind be erased that are a bit less petty.]]
* GeniusLoci: Like Havoc, Oblivion is located inside her body. If she dies, it will cease to exist.
* GodInHumanForm: Naturally, she's capable of assuming pony form whenever she pleases. [[spoiler:It's revealed ''Maud Pie'' is a mortal incarnation of her, apparently resulting from her shielding the CMC from Discord's end game plan. The human version is implied to be the same thing, but likely has a different origin.]]
* HairTriggerTemper: Is rather easy to tick off if met face to face, and her default reaction is 'erase it from existence'.
* IceQueen: Considering what she embodies, it's pretty reasonable.
* ILoveYouBecauseICantControlYou: The reason why she chose Havoc was because he was the only thing who didn't fear her, as said by WordOfGod.
* JerkassGod: Played with. She's not easy to get along with, but she's actually more apathetic than an asshole.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Despite her apathy and demeanor, she ultimately ''is'' benevolent. She is the End of All Things, but that includes pain and suffering, and she ultimately doesn't like others trying to end something before its time. [[spoiler:She even votes to resurrect Rumors!Button as a reward for the CMC saving existence. She's also Maud Pie and normally uses that avatar when in her kinder moods. Maud's existence is due to Entropy TakingTheBullet for the CMC via her Avatar Mrs. Void to protect them from the Rumors' WorldWreckingWave.]]
* LackOfEmpathy: See BlueAndOrangeMorality.
* LargeAndInCharge: See AttackOfTheFiftyFootWhatever.
* LikeAnOldMarriedCouple: With Havoc. Which is actually a source of some comedy, considering they're {{Eldritch Abomination}}s. That said, its stated she chose HIM, possibly specifically because he's one of the only beings in the universe to not fear her.
* ManipulativeBitch: Is implied to have manipulated things to lead to the Alicorn/Draconequi War in order to [[OmnicidalManiac bring on the end of the universe sooner.]] [[spoiler:Subverted, in that Havoc reveals this was only Celestia's ''perception'' of her, and she actually had no intentions on ending the universe early, and actively dislikes those that try.]]
* MercyKill: Her devouring a dead universe that was abandoned by the Shadow Who Makes governing it before the story reached it's conclusion is considered this, as such universes are universally considered ''worse'' than Oblivion, to the point even ''Discord'' views it as terrible. This is because in such worlds, OffscreenInertia is played for horror and the ponies in those worlds are left doing the exact thing they did when the world died ''[[AndIMustScream forever]]''.
* MinorInjuryOverreaction: Her reaction to Clover, Pansy, and Cookie (unknowingly) injuring her with the Fire of Friendship was to ''demand that all Ponykind be erased from existence.'' However, it turns out that this wasn't as much as an overreaction as much as it appeared; the Draconequi argued that Ponykind being able to injure one of the four fundamental pillars of reality could have catastrophic consequences if left unchecked.
* MotherOfAThousandYoung: Has shades of this, being the mother of the Draconequi despite, while they resemble them, is explicitly said to ''not'' be one herself, also created the Windigos from herself, and created Nightmare Legion from the shadows in her realm during the Draconequi/Alicorn War.
* NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast: Both her real name and most of her titles. Especially "She Who Is The End Of All Things", the "Queen of Oblivion", and "The Anti-Mother of All Things".
* NaturalEndOfTime: Her role is to devour the universe when it reaches its natural death so a new one can be created in its place.
* NeverMyFault: She deluded herself into thinking the painful feedback from the Windigos was not an inevitable consequence of her actions, and demands an unreasonable restitution. [[spoiler:Subverted, as Cadence's past self reveals she ''did'' take responsibility for it, the Draconequi merely felt mortals being able to injure one of the four fundamental forces of existence was a potential threat to existence.]]
* NoIndoorVoice: Hard to say given the nature of the flashbacks and who she is, but whenever she talks, IT'S ALWAYS TYPED LIKE THIS, just like her opposite number, Fauna Luster.
* NonLinearCharacter: Like the other deities, only as a TopGod she exists in ''every'' timeline at once.''
* OffingTheOffspring: Erased her firstborn [[UnPerson D___t]] because __ [[CallingTheOldManOut Called The Old Lady Out]], and that the rest of the family know, but aren't allowed to ever talk about it. [[spoiler:As it turns out, her ''real'' reason was because he was a KnightTemplar who wanted to wipe out all the deities, which would've ended ''very badly'' for the universe.]]
* OmnicidalManiac: Unlike most examples, this is ''literally'' her job as the AnthropomorphicPersonification of the end of the universe.
* OppositesAttract: She and Havoc couldn't be more different, but it's stated that she chose ''him'' so she has to be attracted to him somehow.
* PetTheDog:
** [[spoiler:Votes to resurrect Rumors!Button Mash to reward him and the CMC for saving existence.]]
** After Ungoliant tried eating Galaxia at the beginning of time, she punishes Ungoliant and hands her back to Azerhorse, stating this is why she chose Havoc and not Azerhorse as her mate.
** She and Havoc will never disturb or otherwise interfere with mortal souls before they are born.
* PowerOfTheVoid: Is the AnthropomorphicPersonification of Nothingness, and thus has the ability to erase anything she desires from existence. Her children get this from her.
* RetGone: Has the terrifying ability to erase beings from ''existence''. Neo Stream was one of her victims, but even Alicorns aren't immune. She can erase Havoc, but he just wills himself back ''into'' it. This happens so frequently it's basically their version of bickering LikeAnOldMarriedCouple.
** She apparently did this to one of her children at some point. Who is only referred to as [[{{Unperson}} D____t]], though the Draconequi at least remember said sibling, but can't even say the gender. [[spoiler:It's eventually revealed she did this because he wanted to perform genocide on the Concepts, which would ''not'' have ended well for the universe, and Fauna Luster helped her do it because of the consequences of D___t winning.]]
* ScreamingBirth: Does ''not'' have a pleasant experience giving birth to Rancor (due to being the opposite of life and thus the act of creating is even ''more'' painful for her), to the point the ''universe'' quakes from it. Afterwards, she erases Havoc from existence (he wills himself back into it seconds later) for saying they might have to try again.
* StrawNihilist: Considering what she embodies, it's pretty reasonable.
* TheOlderImmortal: Is called an 'Elder' for a reason. She's been around for ''multiple'' universes' entire life span, and was the one to eat them when they died of Heat Death.
* TimeAbyss: Is older than the universe several times over. In fact, according to Razzaroo, she predates ''time itself''.
* TokenEvilTeammate: Is the most truly malevolent Draconequi besides Discord, though she does have some beneficial qualities such as desiring suffering to end.
* TopGod: One of four, the other three being her husband Havoc, and Fauna Luster and her husband, the Father of All Alicorns.
* VillainousBreakdown: Undergoes one when three regular ponies stop the Windigos from exterminating all life on the planet, precipitating the Alicorn/Draconequus War (actually ''hurting'' her in the process).
* * YinYangBomb: [[spoiler:Can combine Her power with Fauna Luster to do ''something'' that was powerful enough to bypass D__t's ability to will himself back into existence if erased.]]

* BigDamnHeroes: [[spoiler:Shows up using Makarov's destroyed Paradox Engine as a portal to prevent Shining from killing Makarov (because he needs to DELETE Makarov to SetRightWhatOnceWentWrong) and proceeds to set off all the plot holes in Makarov's 'story,' allowing the damage Shining caused to his flagship to take hold and giving the allies a chance.]]
* BigSisterInstinct: When she saw Discord seriously hurt in the war, she went ''berserk'' to protect him.
* {{Cloudcuckooland}}: Her [[DimensionLord Realm]]. It's a nonsensical labyrinth inhabited by beings of fantasy such as Ms. Smartypants and the cast of Twilight and Shining's mother's novel. Given she's the Goddess of Imagination, this makes sense.
* TheCutie: She easily has the Most Likeable Personality out of all the draconequi.
* GeniusDitz: Despite being TheDitz among the Draconequi, she actually ''is'' rather intelligent about things pertaining to storytelling, as shown when she confronts [[spoiler:her son, General Admiral Makarov]] and is able to point out nearly every flaw in his 'story' and use certain ones, such as [[spoiler:him using an upgraded version of the Imagination Engine that let him out of her Box in the first place and his excessive amount of detail into his weapons]] against him.
** And then there's her plan to counter [[spoiler:Discord's endgame.]] What is it? [[spoiler:Arrange for AK Yearling to be somewhere safe so she could be offered the chance to become the ''real'' Daring Do by merging with Puzzlemint's Shadow of Existence. This plan goes off without a hitch.]]
* IHaveManyNames: Desire and Pandora are her alternate names.
* LetsGetDangerous: See BigSisterInstinct.
* MadArtist: Not per se, as Imagination is her domain, but at times her inspiring does leave species crazy.
* MadScientist: Has aspects of this, as, being Imagination, she has innumerable ideas and is compelled to try them. WordOfGod and her actions in story, however, imply she genuinely cares for her creations and is as horrified as anyone else when they go wrong. Most either stay in her realm or are [[SealedEvilInACan sealed away in her box]].
* MeaningfulName: In addition to her real name, WordOfGod has revealed her middle name is Atë (that's pronounced "Et" by the way) (her last name is Typhon, just like Discord), the Greek Goddess of mischief, delusion, and folly.
* MixAndMatchCritters: She is an draconequus after all. Anyway, she's got the left arm of a grizzly bear, her right arm is gnarled, green, and covered in warts, her left wing is that of a swan, her right wing is that of a flutterpony, her left leg belongs to a black cat, her right leg belongs to a duckling, and finally she's got the tail of a fox.

Justified, as he was trying to use Imagination against the AnthropomorphicPersonification of it.]]
* NiceGuy: It just serves to prove that she is the TokenGoodTeammate.
* PalsWithJesus: She's the "Jesus" in question. [[spoiler:After Shining Armor used the Blank Wolf to erase Makarov, one of her "children", from existence to stop from committing more misdeeds, she's on friendly terms with him to the point she seems to invite Shining over for tea in her realm while he's suffering from fever dreams.]]
* PetTheDog:
** Promises Story Belle that none of her stories will be forgotten.
** [[spoiler: At the end of the Wedding Arc, as an apology for Chrysalis' actions and a thank-you for dealing with her, she breaks Shining Armor's writer's block.]]

* ShootTheDog: Has no choice but to help [[spoiler:Shining Armor erase Makarov, her ''child,'' from existence because of the threat he's become. Keep in mind, this is the Draconequus stated to be too kindhearted to take part in Discord's punishments and she had to help delete her own ''child''.]]
* ThemeNaming: All the creatures that make up her body are animals that commonly appear in fairy tales and folklore.
* ThePowerOfCreation: Uniquely, she is the only Draconequus with this power, being the Concept of Imagination. Her siblings can rearrange matter into new forms, but she is the only one with the ability to create life.
* TokenGoodTeammate: Seems to be the most genuinely good Draconequi. She has a habit of driving ponies insane trying to inspire them, but that honestly frustrates her to no end. [[WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds Sadly she's also responsible for at least two monsters that threaten the end of the world as we know it]].
* UnPerson: [[spoiler:She has the power to erase all memory of a mortal pony's name and physical appearance, to the point that the afflicted mortal themselves cannot remember their own identifying traits. This power was used to punish the Nameless Filly for killing Cupid.]]
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: She genuinely wants to do the right thing...but for some reason, everything she does tends to cause more harm than good. For example, she tries to inspire artists? They end up going insane. [[spoiler:It's also implied she's accidentally responsible for the creation of Makarov[=/=]The Shadow of Chernobull, even if the Hooviets were the ones that let it loose, and is trying to help fix that one.]] She's aware of her status as this and quite frustrated by it.

* CameBackWrong: [[spoiler:When Discord separates into his Detachments, Destruction's essence is reborn through Lioncord, but he's destructive to the point of being willing to kill most of the life on Equus to win a fight with Twilight, implying something is very wrong with him, and even Discord considers him worse than himself at that point and [[EnemyMine helps Twilight defeat him before reabsorbing him.]] WordOfGod confirms this was basically no different than D___t's Shadow of Existence.]]
* DeaderThanDead: WordOfGod says that not even the Elders can bring him back to life. [[spoiler:Subverted ultimately: Jiniri, as Concept of Wishes and Miracles can bring him back, and in fact was ''created'' for that specific reason.]]
* DeathByIrony: After he died he was completely destroyed, there is no way for him to come back to life. [[spoiler:Or so it seemed.]]
* DemonicPossession: [[spoiler:His essence hitched a ride when Discord created Lioncord and possessed it. Or, according to WordOfGod, may have eaten Lioncord from the inside out when his essence was put inside of him.]]
* DumbMuscle: Most childish of the Draconequi, but also one of the strongest.
* ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin: His name is Destruction and he destroys things.
* KilledOffForReal: Was killed and eaten by Discord, along with his power, making him one of the only one of the gods that's ''confirmed'' to be dead. [[spoiler:Subverted, as Jiniri is capable of bringing him back to life.]]
* MadBomber: His preferred method of causing destruction is to make things "go boom."
* MeaningfulName: His middle name is Shiva, the Destroyer in Hindu mythology. His primary role is to destroy what needs to be destroyed so things can begin anew, which also fits with Shiva's role in mythology, who destroyed the world so Brahmā could make a new one in its place.
** Consdering that it is his job to destroy things, his first name, Destruction, is also meaningful.
* MixAndMatchCritters: He is a draconequus after all. Anyway, he's got the left arm of a gorilla, his right arm is actually an octopus tentacle, his left wing is actually a lizard crest, his right wing's a dove's, his left leg is a bull's, his right leg is that of a buffalo, and lastly he's got the tail of a monkey.

* NukeEm: Is capable of doing this due to his concept.
* PersonOfMassDestruction: Even by his race's standards. He once ''destroyed a black hole!'' And he has no control over it, as if he ''doesn't'' destroy something, he becomes a feral beast that ''has'' to destroy enough to state it. [[spoiler:This is the result of him, under normal circumstances, ''not'' wanting to do his job. Rejecting his concept essentially caused it to fight back and ''force'' him to do it, as otherwise things become ''too'' stagnant for life to actually progress.]]
%%* PhysicalGod
* PowerIncontinence: He ''literally'' can't control his urge to destroy things, if he doesn't do it, it builds until he goes berserk and destroys everything in his path to state it. This can result in it building until he can destroy a ''black hole''. [[spoiler:The real reason for this is if it weren't for this impulse, he actually wouldn't destroy things as he ''should'' and inevitably cause things to stagnate. Since he didn't accept himself, it fought back and made him develop this impulse.]]
* PsychopathicManchild: Is more childishly destructive than anything else.
* SuperPoweredEvilSide: His 'Omega State', pretty much caused by a build up of his destructive power and impulses. He goes ''completely berserk'' and will destroy whatever happens to be standing in front of him at the time. This includes an entire civilization and a ''black hole'' (even Entropy was impressed by that). [[spoiler:It's the end result of his dislike of doing his job, causing his Concept to fight back and ''make'' him do it. The alternative is things getting stagnate to a cataclysmic degree.]]
* WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds: Literally. He doesn't ''want'' to destroy things, something is wrong with him that makes him ''need'' to destroy things, and he hates it. Oh, and Discord ''killed and ate him!'' [[spoiler:Further more, what's wrong with him is he rejects his concept so his concept fights back to make him for the sake of the universe.]]

* AnarchyIsChaos: Subverted. He ''is'' a Draconequus, and thus chaos, but he just wants a civilization with no leadership or class structure, not the ''absolute'' chaos Discord embodies.
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: Of Anarchy, Rebellion, and Freedom.
* BerserkButton:
** After Discord unleashed the Windigos, he drops his normally calm demeanor, ranting that had Discord not allowed the Windigos in, the ponies could have created a classless, authority free society: his dream goal.
** He also seems perturbed by Discord's EvilOverlord tendencies, as the idea of an omnipotent tyrant ruling endlessly is the ''opposite'' of what he wants.
* BadassFingerSnap: Like Discord, (and presumably the rest of his siblings) he can activate his powers by snapping his fingers.
* BlueAndOrangeMorality: He went through a 'rebellious teenager' phase. He did so by apparently becoming ''orderly'' and wearing a business suit.

* DelinquentHair: [[http://www.deviantart.com/art/Anarchy-and-Destruction-vector-321566531 This Alex-approved illustration]] gives him a black mohawk and BigOlEyebrows.
* TheGodsMustBeLazy: He is ''literally'' pretty lazy. He'll do his job, but honestly just wants to get it done and over with so he can go back to playing video games.
* HeroicSacrifice: [[spoiler:In the Finale Arc, he faces Princess Erroria to stop her from attacking the CMC, and is killed. While only his avatar was killed, it still takes him out of the fight as concepts can't just create avatars whenever they want.]]
* ImmortalImmaturity: He basically has the personality of a lazy teenager, despite being zillions of years old.
* InterspeciesRomance: He's married to Nightmare Legion, an Alicorn formed from millions of Shadows of Existence.
* [[MyMasterRightOrWrong My Family, Right or Wrong]]: He considered the fight for Ragnarok stupid, but decided to go with his family to do it. Somewhat ironic, considering what he is.
* MixAndMatchCritters: He is a draconequus after all. Anyway, his left arm is a dingo's, his right arm is a raven's, his left wing is that of a dragonfly, his right wing is a vulture's, his left leg is that of a coyote, and his right leg is a fox's. Oh, and he's got the tail of a rattlesnake.

[[folder:D----t]]

* AnthropomorphicPersonification: Of ''something''. Even he cannot say what it is for sure, but the closest approximation is the concept of willing things into existence via imagination or maybe even a total freedom of will (without natural restraint).
** More complicated due to what WordOfGod said [[http://alexwarlorn.deviantart.com/journal/World-Building-Pony-POV-Series-First-Draconequus-642857391 here]].
* BigBad: [[spoiler:Of Bright Eyes' Gaiden story, at the end of which he tries to absorb her soul and potential concept in order to recreate himself.]]
* BigBrotherInstinct: A good explanation for the wistfulness of his younger siblings and his death. [[spoiler:Didn't stop him from attempting to kill his siblings too.]]
* BreakThemByTalking: [[spoiler:Nearly succeeds in doing this to Bright Eyes by posing as her EnemyWithin and claiming that deep down she ''wanted'' the disaster to happen. Fortunately, the love of her friends and family was enough for her to see through his lies and defeat him.]]
* CallingTheOldManOut: Talked back to his mother, Entropy, presumably about one of the many things she hates. [[spoiler:It was actually due to trying to convince her to go to open war with the alicorns and he desired genocide on every concept, including his own family.]]
* CameBackWrong: [[spoiler:His Shadow of Existence, unlike most, seemed completely sentient and aware of who he used to be (perhaps due to his being a Concept), but also seemed to lack the intrinsic qualities of his true self (though the real one wasn't exactly a good person) and seemed completely AxCrazy. Of note, the real one seems to have been a CoolBigBro to his family, while the Shadow considers himself the only sane being in existence. When actually shown during Tempest's past lives' story, he is indeed a very nice person...to Fizzypop.]]
* ClapYourHandsIfYouBelieve: Essentially his Concept. [[spoiler:This included being able to ''will himself back into existence'' like his father, which necessitated Fauna Luster having to help destroy him.]]
* CoolBigSis:
** Gender-inverted; he was the eldest son of Havoc and Entropy, and seems to be sincerely missed by all his younger brothers and sisters. Even his father, Havoc, seems to miss him and is still upset Entropy erased him. [[spoiler:He wanted to wipe out his siblings along with the rest of the deities, but until he crossed that line he seemed to care about them.]]
** Although to some degree, Strife realized that [[spoiler: he was not really a good Draconequi.]]
* DeaderThanDead: Entropy erased him from existence. And then [[spoiler: Bright Eyes destroyed his shadow of existence.]]
* DyingCurse: [[spoiler: Promises Bright Eyes as she kills him that no matter how many generations it takes, he will devour her and become a real concept again. Subverted in that she proceeds to destroy him ''completely'' moments later.]]
* EvilWeapon: [[spoiler:A sword of moths in Bright Eyes's head to fight one of butterflies. It turns out he ''actually'' had it, but he wasn't evil at the time.]]

* {{Foil}}:
** To Morning Star, with Morning Star hating mortals for their imperfections while D__t adored them and thought they were perfect as they were. [[spoiler:Both of them sought to seek dominance over reality. D___t wanted to do so by abolishing Nature's Law. Morning Star wanted to take control of the existing structures and rule over it all. Fitting, considering their goals are almost parallel to how Discord and Grogar viewed each other in the Dark World timeline in wanting absolute order or chaos.]] When the two are shown together, they can't stand one another.
** Also one to [[spoiler: Nightmare Paradox. Both wanted to influence another living being to become what they wanted to be, and both have some degree of hatred for the gods and how the world is.]]
* GodzillaThreshold: [[spoiler:The prospect of him succeeding in his plans was so horrific for both the Concepts and mortals that Fauna Luster helped Entropy destroy him when his ability to restore himself to existent meant she couldn't do so on her own.]]
* GrandTheftMe: [[spoiler:His Shadow of Existence tried to absorb Bright Eyes' soul and its potential concept (which eventually led to Fluttershy becoming Princess Gaia) so that he could use it to reconstitute himself. She defeats him in a BattleInTheCenterOfTheMind.]]
* IntriguedByHumanity: He was fascinated by mortals and was intrigued with the things they could accomplish, despite having such short lives compared to the Draconequi and Alicorns. [[spoiler:Eventually, this fascination turned into a plan to kill all the other gods so that mortals could have the freedom to mold reality as they saw fit.]]
-->'''Cadence:''' The First Born of the Draconequi was delighted with mortals when they first appeared, not as pets or playthings, but inspired by all the great things these tiny creatures with their brief moments in the mortal universe could do, building on each other's songs, each note adding to the rest, growing greater and greater, the symphony always changing, growing larger, but always consistent.
* KilledMidSentence: [[spoiler:Bright Eyes finishes his Shadow of Existence off before he can complete his DyingCurse.]]
* KillTheGod: [[spoiler:A deconstruction. He ''desired'' to do this, but if he had it'd have irreparably wrecked the universe, as killing a Concept ALSO destroys what they represent.]]
* LastOfHisKind: [[spoiler:Fully intended to become the only Concept left in the universe...by killing his entire family and all the Alicorns. Entropy put a stop to that, with Fauna Luster's help.]]
* MeaningfulRename: In an alternate universe where he won and succeeded in killing all the other gods, he renamed himself Ragnarok.
* MixAndMatchCritters: He was a draconequus after all. But what animals made up his body will probably never be revealed. All we know is one of his arms was a canine of some sort.
* NonLinearCharacter: Before he was erased, as he WAS a Concept. Even after he's able to appear in the Spirit World before he was erased, but after her was from his fellow deities' perspective.
* PosthumousCharacter: Was killed by his mother [[spoiler:and Fauna Luster]] for calling her out before Generation Transitions [[spoiler:or rather for him trying to kill off all the gods, which would've ruined the universe]]. All the information about him comes from Discord and his other siblings occasionally reminiscing about him. [[spoiler: And then his Shadow showed up in Bright Eyes's chapter.]] He finally appears during the story of Tempest shadow's past lives.
%%* PhysicalGod
* TheParagonAlwaysRebels: He was beloved by his younger siblings, and considered one of the best. [[spoiler:He also fell to evil and had to be destroyed all the other gods.]]
* RealityWarper: Was one himself, naturally, but his Concept essentially allowed mortals some measure of this. [[spoiler:His goal was to turn ''all'' mortals into this. It turned out he was an extreme example even by Concept standards, as he could ''will himself back into being'' even when Entropy did the job. It took her ''and'' Fauna Luster both to destroy him for good when he attempted mass genocide of the concepts.]]
* RetGone: Was erased from existence by his mother Entropy. [[spoiler:Like his father, he had the ability to will himself back into being, so Fauna Luster ultimately had to help Entropy destroy him.]] Even when he appears during Tempest's past lives story, Fizzypop literally can't remember his appearance despite looking at him, showing even when he 'exists', he doesn't exist.
* RiddleForTheAges: His true name has not and will never be revealed according to WordOfGod. It's meant to be an unsolved mystery.
* TheUnfavorite: It takes a certain amount of disfavor to have your mother murder you, while your father does nothing but remain complicit with the justification, "Children should never talk back to their elders." Though considering [[LargeHam Havoc's]] [[{{Troll}} personality]], it's difficult to tell if he's just being himself or if he genuinely feels that way. According to WordOfGod, Havoc ''does'' sincerely miss him and has never forgiven Entropy for erasing him. [[spoiler: When D__t's Shadow of Existence was destroyed, Havoc ''cried''.]] It's eventually revealed to be ''far'' more complicated, as [[spoiler:he was actually erased for attempted genocide on ''all'' deities, which would've ended ''extremely'' badly for the universe, forcing Entropy and Fauna Luster to destroy him to stop him.]]
* UnPerson: He was not quite RetGone since his siblings still remember him, so their mother enforces the notion that he never existed. They never say his name nor his gender within an earshot of her, just underscores.
* VillainOfAnotherStory: He actually [[spoiler: wanted to destroy all the alicorns in order to abolish Nature's Law. And he got erased for his proposition. Then he arose to become the BigBad of Bright Eyes's last journey.]]
** HeroOfAnotherStory: Ironically enough. In his past mortal lives, he was a selfless hero in each one. In fact, he became the template for the "formulaic RPG hero."
* WellIntentionedExtremist: [[spoiler:His desire to destroy Nature's Law was out of a desire to give mortals complete freedom, but as Strife and Bright Eyes point out, this was ''not'' a good idea and likely would've caused an even ''worse'' version of what destroyed G3. Cadence even outright says that he did everything he did because he genuinely loved mortals more than anything.]]
* WhiteSheep: Subverted. Initial impressions give that he spoke back to Entropy because she treated everything with such contempt. However, the real reason was because, [[spoiler: he wanted to kill all the alicorns so that a freedom to mold reality as one sees fit would be totally achieved.]]
* WrongGenreSavvy: [[spoiler:According to WordOfGod, he saw himself as living in a universe were the gods making laws to govern reality was enslaving mortals (specifically one akin Franchise/ShinMegamiTensei, mistaking the Father for YHVH), rather than one where those laws were in place to allow life to exist and prevent the universe from collapsing.]]

[[folder:Dragon Queen Tiamat]]
----
* AchillesHeel: As immensely powerful and gigantic as she is, she's still not immune to Dragon Sneeze pollen.
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: Is implied to be the personification of the elemental force of fire, both by her own admission to Majesty and by her epitaph 'the Flame Named Ocean'.
* AsskickingLeadsToLeadership: ''Normal'' fully grown dragons in the My Little Pony world are {{Kaiju}}, Tiamat is their queen. The Hooviets and, much earlier, the Centaurs found out exactly ''why'' the hard way. She's implied to be immensely powerful even by god standards, as she was capable of curbstomping Ungoliant and even Discord had difficulty actually managing to do something to her in [[BadFuture Dark World]] and the resulting creation Discord made her into (despite being a tea cup based dragon) was able to put up one heck of a fight with [[spoiler:Nightmare Eclipse]].
* BattleCouple: With Bahamut during [[spoiler: Makarov's endgame. Both of them decimated Hooviet airship fleets with sadness and fury.]]
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Is surprisingly civil for a Dragon Goddess, to the point she and Celestia have polite conversation over tea during diplomatic visits. She also loves each and every dragon alive as if they are her children. The ''one'' time we see her get pissed off? She goes on a RoaringRampageOfRevenge that decimates the entire Hooviet Empire and ends up leaving the southern half of the empire a smoldering ruin. Tiamat might be civil, but she's not a deity to buck with.
* BlueAndOrangeMorality: The embodiment of Fire and being one of the two oldest dragons in existence tends to give one an odd morality. WordOfGod even stated that she isn't a force of good, it is just that those that ticked her off happened to be mostly villains.
* BruiserWithASoftCenter: Despite being capable of destroying an entire army singlehandedly, she's still a ''mother'' goddess and can be tender and kind. [[MamaBear Just don't hurt her kids.]]
* CurbStompBattle:
** Singlehandedly dished one out to the ''entire'' Hooviet army in the climax of the Hooviet-Dragon war. [[spoiler: When Makarov's endgame kills thousands of dragons in the ''opening act'' before the intended actual payback on her own turf Draco Island, she is more than happy to repeat her actions.]]
** A thousand of the Centaur Empire's best didn't fair much better.
* DidWeJustHaveTeaWithCthulhu: Despite... well, everything else in this entry, she's apparently pretty civil when not enraged, as she and Celestia apparently have polite conversation over tea when Celestia comes for diplomatic missions. Shining Armor wonders where they get a tea cup and tea bags big enough for her (and that much tea, for that matter).
* EveryoneHasStandards:
** She normally does not take issue with her children and other species killing each other, unless it's with a species she's made friendly relations with. However, driving her species to near extinction or killing large numbers of them will invoke her wrath, and it is a terrible thing.
** She doesn't mind her children fighting and possibly killing each other...so long as they do so honorably and in an actual fight. When Smaug lost a fight with two other dragons for their hordes, he killed them in their sleep and slaughtered their eggs. Tiamat drew the line at this and proceeded to banish Smaug, one of the ''very'' few times she's ''ever'' banished one of her offspring.
* TheGhost: Has been referred to by Shining Armor and mentioned in both the [[BadFuture Dark World Arc]] and an alternate universe, but never seen. Averted as of Celestia's side story while also making appearances in [[spoiler: the Shining Armor Arc and the [[OriginsEpisode origin stories]] of Tirek and Majesty.]]
* GoodParents: Loves her children (all of dragon kind), and sent Bahamut to go and check on ''all of them'' individually after the G2 Apocalypse.
* HappilyMarried: To Bahamut.
* GiantFlyer: She's gigantic by ''dragon'' standards, but a very adapt flyer.
* {{Kaiju}}:
** Even by dragon standards, she's gigantic. Her rampage against the Hooviets is described as putting a giant monster film to shame.
** A reclusive [[https://www.deviantart.com/queencold/art/Tiamat-787212381 fanart]] of her that was made canon by the author shows just how big she really is. That little dragon being held up by just the horns with only her fingers? That's ''Torch''.
** WordOfSaintPaul even expands on this by [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/787212381/4705999296 stating]] that Tiamat can stand at the base of the mountain Canterlot is built on while Celestia stands on her highest balcony/landing platform in the palace just so ''they can look each other in the eyes.''
* LargeAndInCharge: When standing at her full height, she ''blots out the sun''.
* MamaBear:
** Her actual hoard is relatively small, despite her being the largest and most powerful dragon alive, as well as their queen. This is because she considers her ''true'' treasure all of dragonkind. The Hooviets tried to take some of her subjects' territory from them. Tiamat declared war and when her subjects began to fall in battle, she came herself and stopped (willingly) just short of leaving their capital a blazing crater, demanding a king's ransom for every dragon killed in the war.
** [[https://www.deviantart.com/alexwarlorn/journal/Pony-POV-World-Building-Suggestion-Tiamat-attitude-782761360#comments Her overall mentality is pretty much this.]] While she respects Celestia and Luna for their might, the interests of dragons take priority over all else.
* MultipleHeadCase: Has five heads, each of which has their own mind. They never fight, however.
* NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast: The Mother of All Dragons.
* IronicName: Is primarily associated with fire, but her name comes from multiple words for sea and is after a ocean goddess. This is lampshaded by her epithet 'the Inferno Named Ocean'.
* OneWomanArmy:
** The Dragons were thinking of giving up the war against the Hooviets due to losses... Tiamat entered the fray and [[CurbStompBattle curbstompped the entire Hooviet military]] singlehandedly.
** The Centaur Empire sent one thousand of their best assassins to kill her. She returned their skulls and armor. Note, the Centaurs had practically made dragon killing a ''sport'' at the time.
* PersonOfMassDestruction: Is capable of leveling half a technologically advanced empire by herself and is implied to be extremely powerful even by deity standards.
* PhysicalGoddess:
** Her title full title is Goddess-Queen Tiamat and she's more than powerful enough to back up that claim. Celestia and Luna are the only beings to have ever earned her respect, and Celestia says that Havoc and Entropy are the only beings she actually fears.
** [[spoiler:Nightmare Banneret, Spike's Nightmare]] is said to resemble her and according to WordOfGod [[spoiler:would become a Dragon God instead of an Alicorn if he were purified by the Elements of Harmony]], implying she's an ''actual'' god. This is eventually revealed to be the case.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: She decidedly didn't ''start'' as one, but she gradually did become more reasonable over time and is quite civil in meetings, particularly with Celestia. [[spoiler:When she met Queen Majesty, she heard her out and once realizing who's baby Heathspike II actually was, was willing to help her through her HeroicBSOD and SurvivorsGuilt.]]
* RoaringRampageOfRevenge:
** Against the Hooviet Empire after they stole her subjects' territory and killed many of them in a war. The country's military is decimated and half the country lay in ruin by the time she's done.
** [[spoiler: She and Bahamut do another one when Makarov's endgame murders several thousand of her children.]]
* TheRoyalWe: Played With. She refers to herself in plural, but it's never made clear if she's doing this or [[MultipleHeadcase refering to her five heads]].
* ShootTheDog: Admits that if it weren't for her treaty with Celestia, she'd have [[spoiler:eaten Minuette to [[SealedInsideAPersonShapedCan prevent the Master]] from ever getting loose]]. [[spoiler:Minuette]] doesn't blame her.
* SizeShifter: Has the ability to assume a smaller, more practical size that doesn't require her lair to be rebuilt every time she leaves it... [[SubvertedTrope but she PREFERS being the size of a mountain and as a matter of principle NEVER EVER uses her power to reduce her size.]] In her heart of hearts, Tiamat loves creatures and other divine avatars having to look UP to her.
* TimeAbyss: Was present during the Second Age, as she's mentioned in Bahamut's appearance. This makes her at the very least over four thousand years old and one of the oldest living beings on the planet. It's revealed that she and Bahamut first became known during the time of the Centaurs, meaning she predates Ponyland [[spoiler:and ''Pony Kind'' as a sapient species.]]
* {{Teleportation}}: Is capable of using teleportation breath like Spike [[spoiler:and does so to teleport Majesty and Heathspike II away after their meeting.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Bahamut]]

* AccidentalHero: Ended up saving [[spoiler:Clover from FluffyTheTerrible, sending the latter [[DisneyVillainDeath falling to his death]]]], but was just stopping for a rest and happened to land in the right spot. He honestly didn't even know what happened and still might not.
* AmnesiacGod: Implied by Luna to be possible.
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: Is implied by his preference for storm and wind based abilities to be the personification of the elemental force of wind. While LooseCanon, he's also referred to as 'the Gale Named Whale' like his wife is dubbed the 'Inferno Named Ocean'.
* BlowYouAway: Shows this ability when [[spoiler:on a RoaringRampageOfRevenge with his mate over Makarov's attempted dragon genocide.]]
* GiantFlyer: Is gigantic by ''dragon'' standards and a very adapt flyer, capable of [[SuperSpeed doing so very fast.]]
* GoodParents: After the Tales apocalypse, he went to check on ''every'' dragon in the world to make sure they were alright and got to know them individually.
* HappilyMarried: To Queen Tiamat.
* LargeAndInCharge: Tiamat's mate and, while not as massive as her, still gigantic even by Dragon standards.
* PapaWolf: Is just as protective of his children as Queen Tiamat.
* PhysicalGod: Another Dragon God like Tiamat.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Of the two Dragon Gods, seems to be the more reasonable and understanding of the two.
* RoaringRampageOfRevenge: [[spoiler:Accompanies his mate on one after Makarov attempts genocide on the dragons.]]
* ShroudedInMyth: Even in modern day, ponies seem to know less about him than they do about Tiamat.
* SuperSpeed: Implied by his exit after [[spoiler:accidentally saving Clover from FluffyTheTerrible.]]
* TimeAbyss: Was around during the Second Age, meaning he's older than the current civilizations and even Celestia, Luna, and Discord's mortal forms. It's revealed during Tirek's origin story that he predates Ponyland [[spoiler:and ''Ponies being sapient'']].

[[folder:Cupid]]

The demigod alicorn of Spreading Love. He was killed by the Nameless Filly when she selfishly attempted to take her relationship problems on love itself, and his death resulted in the deaths of billions and his actions and memory being rendered moot. He is the son of Venus, the alicorn goddess of love, and Mars, a mortal stallion.
----
* ActualPacifist: Justified, as his Concept was Spreading Love, so to fight would be to go against his very nature. It's deconstructed when he didn't even put up a fight against the Nameless Filly, who succeeded in killing him.
%%* AnthropomorphicPersonification: Of Spreading Love.
* DeaderThanDead: Was killed with the Concept Killing Spear...which also erased all the good he did in his life and caused a ''lot'' of beings to be {{Ret Gone}}d.
* DivineParentage: Cupid's a demi-god through his mother, the {{Love God}}dess Venus. His father was a stallion named Mars.
* FlowerMotifs: After his death, his mother placed shion and tsubaki flowers at the base of his statue in her domain. In Japanese flower language, the former means never to forget someone, while the latter represents love.

* KillTheGod: A pony managed to kill him...and it showed ''why'' doing this in the POV Universe is a VERY bad idea. His death erased more people than the G3 Reboot!
* KilledOffForReal: A female pegasus did this using the Concept Killing Spear, destroying his Concept as well. [[MamaBear His mother, Venus]] [[RoaringRampageOfRevenge didn't take it well.]] [[spoiler:Fortunately, this is subverted as Amicitia!Twilight Sparkle fixed things and made another timeline where Cupid would live]].
* LoveGod: Was the deity representing Spreading Love.
* NiceGuy: As the demi-alicorn god of Spreading Love, Cupid is very compassionate. [[spoiler:In an alternative timeline where he lived, he even spoke in the Nameless Filly's defense during her trial, begging his Elders to give her another chance, and expressed regrets for not spreading love to her sooner. * NonLinearCharacter: Until his death, he most likely qualified.
* PaintingTheMedium: When his Shadow of Existence appears, his dialogue is in crossed-out text.
%%* PhysicalGod
* RetGone: Was erased from existence by the Concept Killing Spear.

[[folder:Mother Deer]]
!!Mother Deer/[[spoiler:The Tree of Harmony]]

----
* ActualPacifist: From the looks of it. She clearly detests just ''leading'' military action against her own kind and is never shown taking part in actual combat. [[spoiler:She sits out the fight with Discord, though part of it is her and Discord's powers apparently interact 'like water and oil'.]]
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: Is implied to be filling in for Gaia (who didn't exist yet) as Concept of the Natural World and Organic Life, but her words and WordOfGod imply she's a deity in her own right (later revealed to be the Deer's Mother Goddess) and was merely 'subbing' for her. [[spoiler:She's also the embodiment of Tree of Harmony.]]
* BadassPacifist: She never actually fights, but manages to get a captured Hooviet Rhino Tank's crew to pull a HeelFaceTurn by having a good talk with them. It's implied by world building parts that she helped the dragons strike the death blow to the Hooviets in the proper timeline simply by causing all the Dragon Sneeze Trees in the Empire to wither and die.
* BigGood: For the Anti-Hooviet Rebels (and by extension their ally Shining Armor) in the Shining Armor Arc. [[spoiler:Apparently becomes the ruler of Roedina after Makarov's demise. She also turns out to be the Tree of Harmony.]]
* BigDamnHeroes: Saved [[spoiler:Bright Eyes from a pack of Coyotes.]]

* MindOverMatter: Demonstrates this.

* NoNameGiven: Is unknown in her first appearance, but is later revealed to be named Mother Deer. [[spoiler:That said, her true name is the Tree of Harmony.]]
* PhysicalGoddess: Is to the Deer what Tiamat is to the Dragons. [[spoiler:She's also the Tree of Harmony.]]
* PlantPerson: [[spoiler:She's actually the Tree of Harmony in the form of a deer. She transforms into this form during Rumors to protect her subjects from Discord's endgame, as the rumors were after Mother Deer, not the Tree of Harmony.]]
* ReallySevenHundredYearsOld: Was present in the Second Age, meaning she predates Equestria's founding by several hundred years at least. She doesn't look it. [[spoiler:She's actually as old as Ponykind.]]
* SealedGoodInACan: While the details are unknown, her words imply the Hooviets imprisoned her until she escaped.
* SpaceMaster: [[spoiler:Shows this ability during the rumors, stretching her roots into other rumors bubbles to spread her reach to protect her subjects. Justified, as she's the Tree of Harmony which canonically has this type of power.]]

!Outer Concepts
[[folder:General Tropes]]
* BlueAndOrangeMorality: Nyarlathotrot seems to be the only member who's genuinely evil, the others are so alien in morality that they can't even relate to ''each other''.
* TheCorrupter: According to WordOfGod, they may corrupt mortals to be like them in an attempt to have 'family' that resemble them due to how alien they are from one another. The one exceptions are Ponythulhu, who has a wife and children who he relates to (which may be why he's the TokenGoodTeammate), and Nyarlathotrot, who due to his HiveMind nature is his ''own'' family.
* EldritchAbomination: Most of them seem inspired by Lovecraft's work.
* LovecraftLite: While horrifying cosmic horrors, they can still be defeated and the other gods seem to keep them from causing too much damage under normal circumstances. Ponythulhu is also genuinely kind and friendly. It turns out ''part'' of him being so nice is being savvy enough to ''know'' he's in this kind of universe.
* NoBodyLeftBehind: Their physical forms all disappear in some manner upon death, though the fashion in which they do seems to vary.
* PersonaNonGrata: [[spoiler:Most of them are banished from the Pony POV Series multiverse by their parent for their part in Discord's endgame. Except Ponythulhu and Yog-Sogthorse, who had no involvement at all.]]
* TheseAreThingsManWasNotMeantToKnow: Their ''actual'' purpose is to be the dangers of the unknown so mortals have a healthy fear of it to keep their progress in check, presumably in part for this very reason.
* TokenGoodTeammate: Ponythulhu is this, being genuinely kind and friendly.
* YouCannotGraspTheTrueForm: Many of them have forms that appear to be constantly shifting and impossible to get more than a basic idea of what they look like.

[[folder:Nyarlathotrot]]
(See "Antagonist" section for more details)
----
* {{Archenemy}}: Seems to be one with Amicitia.
* AuthorAvatar: Implied somewhat, he depicts himself as the outlet of the Shadows Who Make's dark side when talking to Amicitia.
* BalanceBetweenGoodAndEvil: Gives Amicitia this argument about why he's needed. She didn't care. It's later revealed his sibling Fillimon is the good to his evil. It's later revealed the ''actual'' balance between them is their Concepts balancing each other out.
* CainAndAbel: The Cain to Fillimon's Abel.
* ChessWithDeath: [[spoiler:In order to stop him from tampering with her affairs, Amicitia arranged for him to have a cooking duel with Celestia. He lost...''despite'' the fact he cheated.]]
* DarkIsNotEvil:
** In a sense. While Nyarlathotrot himself is evil, his Concept still has it's place in creation. Darkness ''can'' be a constructive thing, as can horror and tragedy. It's just that Nythy desires ''too much'' darkness and no light. Some parts of his HiveMind are noted as being actually good.
** The Amicitia Visits Grimdark Worlds section, while somewhat LooseCanon, reveals some of his aspects are actually benign and more into well written tragedy and horror than HOW the story ends, and actively dislike the stuff the rest of their entity does. Just...well, being the ''same entity'', they can't really do much about it.
* EldritchAbomination: Given his name and that he's one of Discord's cousins, this goes without saying. The brief description of him in the "Princess Twilight's Lightly Visits to Grim Worlds" depicts him as having tentacles. He's also a HiveMind entity composed of at least a thousand different Avatars all of which are equally him.
* GodOfEvil: Considering Amicitia stated he ruled over the [[DarkFic Grim Dark worlds]] she saved and if WordOfGod is to be believed ''creates'' such worlds, he definitely qualifies.
* GoodAngelBadAngel: His battle with Amicitia over the world of ''Fanfic/TheImmortalGame'' has him do this and try to lead that world down a ''worse'' path. It's unclear if this is something she did often or not.
* HiveMind: His multitude of avatars form one, with each one fully capable of acting on its own while still being the same entity.
* IHaveManyNames: Over a thousand to be exact.
* NotSoHarmlessVillain: Early mentions of him are rather comical, mainly mentioning how he lost that cooking duel with Celestia. When he later shows up, he's ''anything'' but harmless and shows how dangerous the Concept of Tragedy and Horror can really be as he helps [[spoiler:orchestrate one of the most horrific situations in the series.]]
* SiblingYinYang: Can't be much more opposite than literally representing polar opposite concepts.
* VillainOfAnotherStory: Seems to have been Amicitia's {{Archenemy}}, but we only see one real confrontation between the two that Amicitia ultimately won. [[spoiler:Until the Finale Arc that is.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Fillimon]]
----
* AnimalMotifs: Wears a butterfly mask and turns into a swarm of them to teleport.
* AuthorAvatar: Benevolent version. She's Nyarlathotrot's opposite, and thus represents the Shadow's Light Side.
* BalanceBetweenGoodAndEvil: Describes herself as the good to her sibling's evil, though unlike him she seems to believe good is stronger than evil. The ''actual'' balance between them is their Concepts balancing one another. Fillimon outright admits her Concept could be just as bad if there was no balance.
* BigGood: As the personification of the Shadow's Who Make's good qualities, she seems to fit this.
* CainAndAbel: The Abel to Nyarlathotrot's Cain.
* EldritchAbomination: Is Nyarlathotrot's sibling, so is likely a benevolent version of this trope.
* GodOfGood: Is [[GodOfEvil Nyarlathotrot's]] opposite.
* GoodCounterpart: To Nyarlathotrot.
* LightIsNotGood: Notes that her Concept could be just as destructive as her brother's if there is no balance between them, and some parts of her are just as dark as most of him.
* RousseauWasRight: Seems to believe in this, as she states that most of the Shadows are benevolent.
--> '''Fillimon''': That is the secret of the Shadows Who Make, Rainbow Dash. Some do sow destruction and suffering...but most wish to sow goodness and light. They wish to allow friends to grow, ponies to be inspired, and 'villains' to find redemption the right way. Heroes are allowed to be beacons of hope and villains are allowed to have long buried hearts that can be dug back up. This is the light I exist to foster to dark the dark my brother sows, the good to his evil. And the light will always be stronger than the dark.
* SiblingYinYang: Can't get much more opposite than representing polar opposite concepts.

[[folder:Abandon]]
----
* AlwaysABiggerFish: [[spoiler:Bannerette counters his OneWingedAngel transformation by turning into ''his'' true form and ultimately kills him.]]
* CombatTentacles: Has them, likely because he ''is'' a member of Nyarlathotrot and Ponythulhu's family.
* {{Determinator}}: Credit where it's due, he's ''quite'' determined to get a Rarity to be his 'mother' and let him into the world.
* EldritchAbomination: His true form has very little concrete about it, though he is mentioned as having wings and a skull for a head. Justified, as he's Nyarlathotrot's sibling.
* FamilyUnfriendlyDeath: Downplayed, but it's implied [[spoiler:Bannerette]] killed him by [[spoiler:crushing his skull with a FinishingStomp.]]
* GodOfEvil: Refers to himself as the AnthropomorphicPersonification of Sadomasochism.
* {{Kaiju}}: His true form is of this scale.
* KilledOffForReal: While he's a deity and thus it didn't ''truly'' end him, [[spoiler:Bannerette]] killing him burned up his one mortal life in the POV Prime universe, making him this trope for all intents and purposes.
* NoBodyLeftBehind: His corpse dissolves into black smoke upon death.
* OneWingedAngel: Spends a large part of his first appearance as [[spoiler:[[CreepyDoll a life sized doll of Pinkie Pie]]]] before revealing his true form.
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: Calls [[spoiler:Banerette]] a lamer version of him, since Abandon actually managed to win a few versions of Rarity over before Amicitia or someone else stopped him, while [[spoiler:Banerette]] failed to win a single Rarity even with six others helping him.
* SkullForAHead: One of the few concrete things mentioned about his true form.
* {{Transplant}}: Originally from the [[Blog/AskAPony ask blog]] ''Lil Miss Rarity.''
* VillainTeamUp: Shows up as part of one with [[spoiler:his cousin,]] though he's a far lesser threat and doesn't last nearly as long.
* {{Yandere}}: For some reason, he's obsessed with Rarity and has been wandering worlds trying to corrupt its version of Rarity, only to be foiled each time.

[[folder:Beldam]]
----
* CompositeCharacter: At least in the ''Fanfic/PonyPOVSeries'', [[Fanfic/APuppetToHerFame the Puppeteer]] is just another mask worn by the [[WesternAnimation/{{Coraline}} the Beldam]]
* DefiantToTheEnd: When her avatar is defeated, Flash Sentry's group attempts to interrogate her. She instead mocks them and says they are doomed before expiring.
* {{Expy}}: Of the Other Mother from ''WesternAnimation/{{Coraline}}''.
* HelpingHands: Her severed arm tries to strangle Flash Sentry.
* MarionetteMaster: Uses strings and chains to control people. She can also use them to restrain and strangle them.
* MixAndMatchCritters: Her avatar is described as a cross between a pony and a GiantSpider, with human hands.
* SquishyWizard: Her avatar seems to lack much physical strength and fighting skill, being intended to remain invisible in the background while she controls things with her strings. Once her puppet strings are defeated, she's easily beaten to death.

[[folder:Dra-gon]]
----
* PapaWolf: [[spoiler:When he realized that his potential banishment would most likely extend to his children, the Deep Ones, he came up with a solution that would make them so embedded in the timeline that they couldn't be removed by anything, not even his Elder]].
* XanatosGambit: [[spoiler: He knew all along how foolish the Rumors plan was, and that he, Nythy, and all the other Outer Concepts were most likely to be banished. So in his fight against King Leo and the Sea Ponies, he insured that his children, the Deep Ones, will be so embedded in the timeline to where they can't be removed. King Leo was admittedly impressed.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Shub-Neighurath]]
----
* BlueAndOrangeMorality: [[spoiler:Applebloom]] compares her to a tornado or a flood. She isn't malicious or sadistic, she's simply more akin to a natural disaster in how she perceives mortals normally.
* CreatingLife: Is notable among her family for having this ability.
* EldritchAbomination: As with the rest of her kin. When seen, she looks like a gigantic moth-like beast with goat-legs in place of insect one, anywhere between one to three heads (which could either be goat's or dragon's), and TooManyMouths. Just looking at her is confusing. [[spoiler:She also ''created'' all the Rumors Parasites.]]
* GreaterScopeVillain: Sort of. [[spoiler:Her offspring, the Rumors Parasites, are the major threat of the Rumors Arc, but she herself isn't openly antagonistic. She merely gave Nythy and Discord a weapon to use.]]
* HalfTheManHeUsedToBe: [[spoiler:Her mortal form is sliced in half by the ''Moonpearl's'' WaveMotionGun and a Sonic Rainboom shockwave from Rainbow Dash defeating her EnemyWithout.]]
* MamaBear: Doesn't like others harming her children, ''at all''. Though according to WordOfGod, she also doesn't care if her children fight with one another [[spoiler:such as the positive Rumors conflicting with the negative siblings.]]
* MotherOfAThousandYoung: A ponified version of the TropeNamer. Her Dark Young even appear at one point [[spoiler:and ''all'' the Rumors Parasites are her offspring.]] She's also the only one of her family who is capable of creating life, though WordOfGod says she still needs something to bring life ''to''.
* ThisCannotBe: Has this reaction to [[spoiler:her Avatar being destroyed by the ''Moonpearl'' with help from Rainbow Dash's Sonic Rainboom.]]
--> '''Shub''': [[spoiler:'''... I am an outer-concept... how was one of my avatars banished by... [[WhatTheHellAreYou what are you little ponies?!]]]]'''
* TooManyMouths: One consist thing she's described with is having mouths in places there shouldn't be and more than one.
* WhatTheHellAreYou: [[spoiler:Her last words before her Avatar dies is asking the crew of the ''Moonpearl'' this in [[ThisCannotBe disbelief they managed to kill her]].]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Ponythulhu]]
----
* BewareTheNiceOnes: ''Don't'' knock over Ponythulu's cookies! In fact, this trope is the entire reason his Parent doesn't care about his benevolence: ponies are still ''scared'' of him, just more afraid of inciting his wrath.
* DarkIsNotEvil: Despite being both Discord's cousin and a ponified version of [[Franchise/CthulhuMythos Cthulhu]], he's actually pretty nice and doesn't really seem interested in doing anything remotely evil.
* DidWeJustHaveTeaWithCthulhu: Is surprisingly nice for being... well, Cthulhu as a pony, and even Twilight admits he deserves to be treated nicely.
* EldritchAbomination: Like the rest of his family. He's based on [[Franchise/CthulhuMythos Cthulhu]], but like Fillimon, he's a benevolent example of an EldritchAbomination, being bizarrely polite and well-mannered.
* PluckyComicRelief: It seems his whole purpose in the story is to provide this for the Dark World.
* RealMenWearPink: Enjoys baking cookies (which apparently turn anyone who eats them into [[EldritchAbomination Deep Ones]]) and when summoned by a bunch of pony cultists, he appeared wearing a pink bathrobe with accompanying bunny slippers.
* SpannerInTheWorks: Unintentionally. It foils a cult's plot to dominate the world by assuming the ones who summoned him wanted to be friends and give him gifts. [[VillainousBreakdown Said cult didn't take it well]].
* TokenGoodTeammate: The only one in his family who isn't outright malevolent or unintentionally evil. The other one would be Fillimon.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Ungoliant]]
----
* AnimalisticAbomination: An EldritchAbomination in the shape of a gigantic spider.
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: Of hunger. According to Rota, some timelines have Chrysalis and her fight for it.
* AutoCannibalism: According to Rota, one potential fate for her is her eating herself.
* BeastOfTheApocalypse: She will herald the end of time by consuming Galaxia, who is the Stars. However, what happens after will also lead to the rebirth of the universe with the next Big Bang.
* CurbstompBattle: Apparently once tried to eat one of Tiamat's heads. Tiamat showed why spiders and flame don't mix.
* ExtremeOmnivore: Will apparently eat ''anything'' that she so much as sees. She very much desires to eat Galaxia, and may do so at the end of the universe.
* GiantSpider: At least what she ''looks'' like.
* ProphecyTwist: According to Rota, while she is destined to eat Galaxia in several lines, things don't go well for her after that and Rota even says Galaxia may survive after her sisters kill Ungoliant.
* StalkerWithoutACrush: Has been perusing Galaxia with intent to eat her since ''before the beginning of time''.

[[/folder]]

[[folder:Yog-Sogthorse]]

----

* AllLoveIsUnrequited: Courted Rota Fortuna, but she turned him down. Subverted in that Pandora may have caught him on the rebound.
* EyesDoNotBelongThere: Apparently is a mass of sapient eyeballs.
* MonsterProgenitor: Sired a pair of sons with a madmare akin to ''Literature/TheDunwichHorror'' in a LooseCanon short, one of which can pass for a normal person with concealing clothing while the other is an invisible giant horror.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: Has little effect on the overall story directly and appears rarely, but [[spoiler:is the one who found Cadenza's husk and took it to Pandora, resulting in Chrysalis' birth.]]
* TokenGoodTeammate: Relatively speaking. Like Ponythulhu, he had nothing to do with the Rumors Arc and seems relatively benign. As such, [[spoiler:he wasn't banished from the Pony POV Multiverse.]] While a LooseCanon story shows him having children with an insane mare that do go on to be a massive threat, he just sired them and seemed to have no real say in what they did.

[[/folder]]

[[folder:Azerhorse]]
----
* BlueAndOrangeMorality: It doesn't ''care'' about good or evil, only that its family serves its purpose as the embodiment of 'fear of the unknown'. It gets clopped off at [[spoiler:Nythy and his siblings that aided him]] not because of their EvilPlan, but for [[spoiler:shaming the family by exposing themselves so they ''could'' be defeated rather than remaining unknowable things.]] It is also perfectly fine with Ponythulhu being nice because everyone ''still'' fears clopping him off.
* DarkIsNotEvil: It's the single parent of the [[EldritchAbomination Outer Concepts]] and a horrifying, insanity inducing entity... but it's ultimately not evil. Or really good for that matter. It and its family's actual roles are to be the 'fear of the unknown' to make sure mortals are cautious in their progress instead of being reckless and stupid in it. Azerhorse is more neutral than anything, as it ''never'' does anything intentionally, including the creation of its own offspring. [[spoiler:Ironically, the ''two'' times it ever does something on purpose consist of banishing most of its children from the Pony POV branch of the multiverse for eight billion years as punishment for humiliating their family, and voting to allow Button Mash to be resurrected after his HeroicSacrifice (though its reasons are unknown).]]
* EldritchAbomination: As to be expected given it's offspring.
* GreaterScopeVillain: Subverted, while it created Nythy, it was a complete accident and it doesn't seem responsible for anything the Spirit of Grimdark does. It's ultimately neither good nor evil and doesn't give a darn about what they do. [[spoiler:It actually ends up inverting this trope when it ''punishes'' Nythy in the end.]]
* MonsterProgenitor: Is the parent of Ponythulu, Nythy, Abandon, and their siblings.
* MouthOfSauron: Has a stallion that it can speak through. It ''can'' speak itself, but seems to prefer to communicate in this way, even to its own children.
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: Its children know he's royally clopped off [[spoiler:at Nythy and some of his children bringing shame on the family]] because the 'blind idiot concept' actually ''speaks''.
* OrcusOnHisThrone: As with its inspiration, it never ''does'' anything nor speaks, and created its children ''on accident''. When it actually ''speaks'' [[spoiler:and decides to punish Nythy and the rest of his children involved in Discord's endgame]], its children have a MassOhCrap. [[spoiler:The other ''Elders'' are shocked when it speaks to vote, "Yes," to resurrecting Button Mash as a reward for his HeroicSacrifice.]]
* ParentalNeglect: Even more so than Entropy. Justified, as he is pretty much the "Blind Idiot God" after all and his children are happy he pays them no mind. [[spoiler: The fact he actually proceeds to ''scold'' them realizes he's mad to the point of lucidity.]]
* PetTheDog: ''Surprisingly enough.'' Azerhorse is the embodiment of the primal force of EldritchAbomination status. Thus, it doing anything ''clearly on purpose'' are ''extensively [[OutOfCharacterAlert out-of-character]]''. What is the second thing we see him do on purpose? [[spoiler: Vote to bring back Button Mash to life]]. While his first purposeful action has an explanation behind it (because of their ''job''), here it seems that Azerhorse had no reason to do this and we don't know why.
* TrulySingleParent: Notably the only Elder to not have a mate and to create its offspring purely on its own. Ironically, it created its children by complete accident.
* TopGod: Of Nythy and Ponythulhu's family, being their Elder.
