! Jolyne Cujoh (Stand: Stone Free)
http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/JolyneKujo_2140.jpg
-> Voiced by: Creator/MiyukiSawashiro (''All-Star Battle'')

Jolyne is the daughter of Jotaro Kujo. After being arrested for a crime she didn't commit, Jolyne is incarcerated in Green Dolphin State Penitentiary. Her father, realizing that something is amiss, sends her a package containing the tip of one of the Stand arrows, activating her latent abilities in the form of Stone Free. After her father is attacked by Whitesnake, she sets out to stop the priest Enrico Pucci and get Jotaro back to normal.

Her Stand is Stone Free, which allows her to unravel her body into string. This has various applications, including hearing distant sounds ''à la'' a tin can phone, manipulating objects by wrapping them up and pulling the strings around, and [[HeartIsAnAwesomePower whatever else Jolyne can think of]].

Her stand is named after the Music/JimiHendrix song [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stone_Free "Stone Free"]].
-----
* ActionGirl
* AmbiguousSituation: She may or may not be incredibly intelligent, to savant levels, judging by some of the things she does requiring either amazing luck or a superhuman ability to calculate trajectories and probabilities while fighting, according to her enemies. Most people put it down to luck, but a recurring element is the fact that she's the opposite of Pucci, who literally seems to have either divine intervention or probability manipulation on his side, and thus is unlikely to have coincidence work out for her.
* AnimalMotifs: Butterflies, and judging by the spider-web patterns on her clothes and the forms her strings take, spiders.
* [[spoiler:AnyoneCanDie]]
* {{Badass}}: Probably the best fighter in the series, which is saying something.
** BadassBiker: She joined a biker gang when she was a teenager, and she is definitely badass.
** BadassBoast: "Hey, hey... Guess. Didn't you once say that every thing should have a name? I want to give her a name too... Stone Free... I want to free myself from this [[TitleDrop stone ocean!]] Heard me? STONE FREE! This is her name!"
* BadassFamily
* BareYourMidriff
* BirthmarkOfDestiny
* BrokenBird: Her father was absent for most of her life, not even coming home when she was very sick. She was so desperate for attention that she stole a car when she fourteen, joined a biker gang, and became pretty bitter. When she became an adult, she tried to clean up her act and go to college. Then she was framed for murder by her boyfriend, betrayed by her crooked lawyer, and sentenced to prison. Shortly after, she found out her father, whom she had disowned long ago, had sent her the means to defend herself and was trying to protect her. Then her father told her he had always cared for her right after getting hurt because he was protecting her and right before [[spoiler:getting his soul and power stolen.]] Her reaction? Becoming a {{Badass}} like all of her family to [[spoiler:get her father back]] and kick all her enemies' butts in the process.
* ButterflyOfDeathAndRebirth: Butterflies are a motif in her character design. [[spoiler:She even turns into butterflies when she dies, and sure enough, gets reborn in the new universe.]]
* CatchPhrase: "Yare yare dawa," the feminine equivalent of her father's.
* CaughtWithYourPantsDown: In the first chapter.
* CivvieSpandex: Her clothes seem to be inspired by this costume design -- her LongPants and her top share the same SpiderMan-like pattern and color-scheme, and she wears a loose long coat that resembles a cape. It wouldn't look out of place in the ComicBook/{{X-Men}} comics. Ironically, Jolyne is about as far from being a superhero as the series gets.
* CombatPragmatist: Out of almost all the Jojos in the series so far, she has the most ''seemingly'' harmless ability, second only, and we mean only, to [[GoodThingYouCanHeal Josuke]] [[PersonalityPowers Higashikata.]] She uses her Stone Free to turn herself into string. ''Ordinary string!'' The very fact that she can weaponize this, let alone to this extent, shows how clever and smart she can be.
* CombatTentacles: She can use her prehensile string in a few ways combat tentacles are used, such as grappling onto things and throwing things around, but most of the other ways are completely different.
* ContrastingSequelMainCharacter: Aside from being the first female main character Joestar and the first Joestar after Johnathan to actually have known her father when she was growing up, she's also [[CovertPervert the most visibly perverted]] and hedonistic Joestar to date. While Giorno is like if Dio grew up to be good, Jolyne is like if Joseph grew up to be very, very bad.
* ADateWithRosiePalms: '''''In the first scene of her story arc, no less!''''' LovableSexManiac, indeed!
* [[{{Delinquents}} Delinquent]]: Must run in the family.
* DelinquentHair
* {{Deconstruction}}: Before major CharacterDevelopment kicks in, Jolyne starts out with many of the Joestar family's traits... but twisted into extreme flaws. Her hotblooded and berserk-button prone personality constantly led her into trouble with authority. Her flighty and impulsive behavior led her to make some extremely bad decisions. The lack of a consistent father figure did not inspire her to become truly independent or find an honorable person to emulate, but just made her resentful of Jotaro for his apparent inability to care about his family. Her delinquency has landed her in juvenile hall and later in jail. And finally, her extreme faith in her delinquent friends left her to be hung out to dry when they abandoned her. After meeting with her father, however...
** {{Reconstruction}}: She starts to emulate Jotaro's extreme stoicism while not losing her extreme passion, to the point she could even be more intense and determined than he is. And a lot of her flaws end up becoming her strengths when she finally gains friends who have the same undying loyalty to her that she has for them.
* {{Determinator}}
* EarnYourHappyEnding: [[spoiler:...Of a sort. While Jolyne herself dies, in the new timeline that is established after Pucci is defeated, Irene's happily dating, meets all her friends from the previous timeline, and even has a better relationship with her dad. She's yet to make an appearance since in Part 8 either, indicating she probably is living a relatively normal life.]]
* FeelNoPain: Jolyne takes some of the hardest hits in the series without flinching, such as getting her hand literally turned inside out, bones jutting and flesh pulping and everything, or setting herself on fire.
* FightingSpirit[=/=]WeirdnessMagnet
* FlippingTheBird: She even demonstrates how to do it in several different cultures.
* FreudianExcuse: A psychoanalyst assigns her DisappearedDad as the reason she's been LookingForLoveInAllTheWrongPlaces.
* GeniusBruiser: Played with. She's scrawnier than the [=JoJos=] that preceeded her, but not only is she just as capable of outwitting her opponents, she's a much scrappier fighter to boot.
* GenreSavvy: She has to work out a lot of the Jojo lore and Stand applications from first principles, getting only a short rundown from her father at the start of the story. Despite this, she's very good at working out weaknesses and mechanics of various Stands.
* GoodThingYouCanHeal: One of Stone Free's applications is to quickly stitch up wounds - something which Jolyne finds herself using a lot.
* [[spoiler:GoOutWithASmile]]
* HeartIsAnAwesomePower: Although her main ability is to unravel her body into a string-like substance, she finds an incredibly diverse amount of ways to use this to her advantage.
** Another aspect of this is that she is one of the few main characters who has to channel her stand ability through her body, essentially giving ''her'' all the powers instead of her Stand. While this means that she can't use her floaty ghost partner to do all the heavy lifting, it ''does'' mean that said floaty ghost partner has both hands free to wreck shit up while Jolyne is busy with her strings. And Stone Free is quite the badass, even with only brute force.
* InSeriesNickName: [=JoJo=].
* InTheBlood: Jolyne's personality is very similar to her great-grandfather Joseph's from the "Battle Tendency" and "Stardust Crusaders" era -- very excitable, hot-headed, and snarky. Her kinder moments also bring his own to mind (her revival of Foo Fighters by wringing out her wet cloak on top of its remains is highly reminiscent of Joseph's pouring blood over a dying Wamuu to ease his pain, for instance). In a crisis situation, she's more like Jotaro -- cold-blooded and willing to throw herself into danger without hesitation if need be. Her tactics are similar to both Joseph's and her father's -- she's extremely quick-thinking and favors misdirection and mindgames like Joseph. She is also fond of lateral thinking like Jotaro, taking the most efficient and often unexpected route in a fight. She also has the recurring [[HeroicWillpower "conscience/spirit"]] resulting from character development that Josuke and Giorno were explicitly referred to as developing.
* InstantKnots: Justified, as the strings she unravels into are prehensile.
* KickChick: She fights with her stand but she kicks a lot!
* LovableSexManiac: Jolyne is the most perverted [=JoJo=]. Her ''first scene'' is of her complaining about a guard catching her masturbating.
** Jolyne is jealous of snails [[http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mbk5wzdxqd1r538lqo1_500.png for rather eyebrow-raising reasons]].
* LookingForLoveInAllTheWrongPlaces: Which has lead her to relationships with some rather questionable men in the past -- the most recent of which landed her in prison.
* MeaningfulName: In-universe, Stone Free is named after Jolyne's desire to escape jail, which she compares to a "[[TitleDrop stone ocean]]".
* [[SirSwearsALot Miss Swears-a-Lot]]: She even knows how to flip people off in four different languages!
* MoralityChain: Pretty much the only reason Anasui is ''trying'' to be something resembling good.
* MsFanservice: Pretty face, curvy figure, and almost always has [[BareYourMidriff her stomach uncovered]] (complete with a naval piercing later on). Also see SheCleansUpNicely below.
* MulticoloredHair: Considering the crowd she fell in with, it ''could'' actually be dyed.
* NaiveNewcomer: Her first days at Stone Ocean.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: [[spoiler:Weather Report was winning against Pucci until she distracted him. In her defense, she didn't distract Weather Report so much as Weather Report's Stand made her car crash nearby]].
* {{Odango}}
* RunningGag : She often forgot to wear her panties.
* SheCleansUpNicely: For all of those who thought she looked too masculine in the original series, you might wanna see [[http://images.wikia.com/jjba/images/8/80/Spur5.jpg her]] [[http://images.wikia.com/jjba/images/0/09/Spur1.jpg in]] [[http://images.wikia.com/jjba/images/9/96/Spur2.jpg Spur Magazine's one-shot]] where Araki Hirohiko's art development makes her absolutely [[http://images.wikia.com/jjba/images/a/a0/Spur1a.jpg gorgeous]] to Ms. Fanservice levels.
* TheSmurfettePrinciple: The only female [=JoJo=] so far.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: She signs her name "Jolyne Cujoh", but the English speaking fandom has kept the romanization of her name identical to Jotaro's.
* SuperToughness: Once her Stand's ability gets going, she starts turning to string. Her body is then resistant to stabbing and blunt force due to the string absorbing all the force.
* SwissArmySuperpower: Jolyne's used her Stand ability as everything from stitchings to nets to RazorFloss.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: The Girly Girl to Hermes's Tomboy. Even if she is not very girly.
* TookALevelInBadass: Went into prison a flighty, love-starved delinquent and came out as a quick-thinking {{Badass}} {{Determinator}} who pulls stunts like [[IncendiaryExponent setting herself on fire to counteract an enemy Stand]].
* TroublingUnchildhoodBehavior: How many fourteen-year-olds do ''you'' know that have committed grand theft auto?
* [[spoiler:YouShallNotPass: Gives her life to hold off Pucci just long enough for Emporio get to safety.]]

! Jotaro Kujo (Stand: Star Platinum: The World)

See [[Characters/JoJosBizarreAdventurePart3 part 3]]

! Hermes Costello (Stand: Kiss)
http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hermescostello_1332.bmp
->Voiced by: ChizuYonemoto (''All-Star Battle'')

A fellow inmate of Jolyne's, both before and after the transfer to Green Dolphin Street. While she claims to have gotten into jail for holding up a convenience store, it was a deliberate gambit so she could get close to the gangster Sports Max and kill him in revenge for the death of her sister Gloria, who was killed for [[HeKnowsTooMuch accidentally witnessing his criminal operations]].

Her Stand is Kiss, which allows her to duplicate any object by applying a special sticker to it. Once she removes the sticker, the two objects will recombine into one, but not without some damage.

Her name references the luxury brand [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hermès Hermès]] and the fashion designer [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Costelloe Paul Costelloe]], while her stand is named after Music/{{KISS}}.
-----
* [[spoiler:AnyoneCanDie]]
* {{Badass}}
* {{Bifauxnen}}
* BigSisterMentor: To the extent a popular nickname for her in the fandom is "Aniki".
* DreadlockRasta
* FatalFlaw: Makes risky, impulsive decisions that tend to go bad for her more often than not.
* FightingSpirit[=/=]WeirdnessMagnet
* [[GoodScarsEvilScars Good Scars]]: Has two - one on her forehead and another on her chin.
* HeartIsAnAwesomePower: In classic [=JoJo=] fashion. The gambits she puts together with Kiss's stickers are incredibly clever and can be so complex that the reader may have trouble keeping up.
* HotBlooded
* TheLancer: To Jolyne.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: Yes, you got your revenge. Unfortunately, killing him had the not-so-minor side effect of ''putting his Stand into overdrive''...
* SpicyLatina
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: The Tomboy to Jolyne's Girly Girl.
* TreasureChestCavity: Had her breasts surgically altered so that she could smuggle money into prison.
* [[YouKilledMyFather You Killed My Sister]]: Sports Max killed her elder sister because she witnessed him performing a mob hit. Hermes got herself imprisoned at Green Dolphin ''on purpose'', just to have a shot at killing him while he was serving time for racketeering.

! Emporio Alnino (Stand: Burning Down the House[[spoiler:+Weather Report]])
http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/emporio_7574.bmp
-> Voiced by: Junko Kitanishi (''All-Star Battle'')

A little boy who was born within Green Dolphin Street's walls. He has complex knowledge on the prison's layout due to a life of constantly sneaking around it.

His Stand, Burning Down the House, forms a pocket dimension that emulates the "ghost" of the prison's music room before it was destroyed in a blaze. [[spoiler:He later gains use of Weather Report]].

His is named after the [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armani#Emporio_Armani Emporio Armani]] fashion label while his stand is named after [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burning_Down_the_House "Burning Down the House"]] by Talking Heads.

-----
* BiggerOnTheInside: Burning Down the House is pretty similar to the last part's Mr. President, being an extradimensional space that emulates Green Dolphin's music room as it was before fire destroyed it.
* BreakTheCutie: His mom was a prisoner and he's been hiding in a prison his whole life, so he's pretty broken by the time the series starts.
* TheChewToy: He goes through an ''incredible'' amount of pain and torture throughout the series. One of the most cringe-inducing is the part where he has his short-term memory destroyed, so he repeatedly accidentally drenches himself in water and walks unwittingly into an electric fence, screaming and crying in agony. Each time, the only thing he remembers is the pain, so he repeats the process again...and again...and again.
* [[spoiler:ComboPlatterPowers: He, along with Dio, is the only character to own two Stands. Additionally, he's the only character ever to use two Stands simultaneously -- he fights Pucci in the hidey-hole he generates using Burning Down The House at the same time that he uses Weather Report to attack him with oxygen.]]
* CreepyChild: Thanks to his Stand ability to live in the "memories" of places, he can appear in random corners of Stone Ocean.
* {{Determinator}}: The premier example in "Stone Ocean". He ''will not stop'' trying to help his friends. [[spoiler:Because of this, he's the only one to survive against Pucci.]]
* EleventhHourSuperpower: [[spoiler:He tricked Pucci into pushing Weather Report's Stand disc into him, thus giving him access to Heavy Weather. Ironically, he doesn't use Heavy Weather's unique ability that made it an EleventhHourSuperpower to Weather Report, instead opting for its most basic (albeit enhanced by lingering vestiges of Weather Report's sheer hatred) ability to generate oxygen.]]
* [[spoiler:[[FinalGirl Final Boy]]: Emporio is the only character to survive Pucci's plot. Granted that destroying Made in Heaven restores the slain heroes in slightly altered form, but...]]
* GuileHero: He has very few combative capabilities, so he usually hides from or outwits any enemies he faces.
* MeaningfulName: Burning Down the House manifests rooms that were, well, burned down.
** Emporio is the old word for warehouse, and he utilizes his Stand as storage HammerSpace.
* TakingYouWithMe: [[spoiler: Seems implied in his final stand against Pucci since Weather Report poison air seems to be affecting him too. He manages to live since the universe being remade saves him at the last second. Well that and Pucci is being pummeled by Weather Report.]]
* TookALevelInBadass: [[spoiler:He gains Weather Report as a Stand, and is basically the one to kill Enrico Pucci.]]
* SuperpowerfulGenetics: Emporio's mother was a Stand user who could manipulate "ghost objects" exactly like he can.
* WiseBeyondTheirYears: Due to growing up in prison raised only by his mother, a library, and the internet.
* WeirdnessMagnet

! F.F. (Stand: Foo Fighters)
http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/foofighters_6539.bmp
-> Voiced by: Creator/RyokoShiraishi (''All-Star Battle'')

A colony of zooplankton that gained a Stand when Pucci threw a Stand disc into the ocean. Its Stand is Foo Fighters, but the Stand and the user can't be considered separate entities in any sense of the phrase; even Foo Fighters' ability simply amounts to manipulating the plankton it's made from (although, as with any other stand, [[HeartIsAnAwesomePower the applications are diverse]]). After its [[DefeatMeansFriendship defeat and befriending by Jolyne]], it decides to possess the corpse of a female prisoner named Etro.

She is named after the alternative rock band Music/FooFighters.
-----
* AnimeHair: It's way too smooth to actually look like hair. It's more like someone stuck half a broken eggshell on her head.
* ArmCannon: Can morph her index finger and thumb into a gun.
* BadassAdorable
* BerserkButton: Do not drink her water. Do not take her water away from her. Do not even ''sit'' next to her water.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: Skirts it a bit due to her lack of worldly experience.
* CombatMedic
* GoodThingYouCanHeal: Due to her nature, Foo Fighters can recover from pretty much any injury as long as a piece of her is able to get to a water source. Also, like [=GioGio=]'s ability, she can use some of her plankton to patch up the others when they get hurt, but the process is very uncomfortable.
* HeelFaceTurn[=/=]DefeatMeansFriendship
* [[spoiler:HeroicSacrifice: [[HeroicRROD Expends the last of her already-depleted plankton]] to save Anasui]].
* HumanityIsInfectious
-->Ever since she met Jolyne Cujoh at the farmlands... she has remembered everything she's experienced since then. The weird graffiti on the public phones. The feeling of the covers on the bead and the smell of garbage. The sound of doors opening and closing. The sound of the toilet... Making small talk with Jolyne. Jolyne making fun of her toes, saying they were shaped weird... She remembers everything... But everything ''before'' the incident at the farmlands... Just blindly obeying orders, not even knowing why. She just protected Whitesnake's disc. That's all she remembers.
* ImaginationBasedPower: Her plankton can morph into almost anything, really.
* ProgressivelyPrettier: Foo Fighter's stand form originally looked rather malformed and long faced, but later becomes more humanoid and looks more like Etro to represent its growing humanity.
* PuppeteerParasite[=/=]TheWormThatWalks: Of a sort: Foo Fighters is an independently intelligent Stand created by a colony of plankton, animating the body of a dead woman.
* SerialEscalation: Once could probably accept hawks and dogs and even tortoises getting stand powers. But ''plankton?!''
* WeakSauceWeakness: Because she's a corpse filled with plankton, Foo Fighters has to be constantly hydrated.
* WeaponizedTeleportation: F.F. can travel through bodies of water almost instantaneously. She uses this offensively by dragging opponents along for the ride, drowning them in the process.
* WhatMeasureIsANonHuman: Averted after F.F. is [[DefeatMeansFriendship defeated]] and [[HeelFaceTurn joins Jolyne's side.]]
* YoungerThanTheyLook: Is only several years old.

! "Weather Report"/[[spoiler:Wes Bluemarine, born Domenico Pucci]] (Stand: Weather Report)
http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/weather_report_6824.jpg
-> Voiced by: Creator/ToruOkawa (''All-Star Battle'')

A male prisoner. His memory disc was stolen by Pucci, and since he can't even remember his name, he simply goes by that of his weather-manipulating Stand, Weather Report. [[spoiler:Weather Report has a secondary ability called Heavy Weather which can manipulate sunlight via the ozone layer to produce rainbows that turn anyone who touches them into a snail, which propagates as TheVirus]]. [[spoiler:His actual identity is Wes Bluemarine, also known as Domenico Pucci, the younger twin brother of Enrico Pucci]].

He is named after [[spoiler:the fashion brand [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blufin Blumarine]]]]. His stands are named after the jazz group [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weather_Report Weather Report]] and [[spoiler:''[[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heavy_Weather_(album) Heavy Weather]]'', one of the band's albums]].
-----
* AmnesiacDissonance: Normally, he's stoic, soft-spoken, and basically a good person. When he gets his memory back, [[spoiler:he sneeringly kills a doctor for no reason and goes on to be a plain asshole]].
* AmnesiacHero: [[spoiler:Played for drama, as his memories returning cause devastating effects, not to mention he's not really nice as his real self.]]
* {{Badass}}: [[spoiler:Has one of the powerful Stands in Stone Ocean, nearly kills Enrico, and its his Stand that ultimately defeats the latter.]]
** BadassFamily: [[spoiler:He's actually Enrico Pucci's twin brother, and easily the superior one.]]
* BigScrewedUpFamily: [[spoiler:Not counting how Enrico is ObliviouslyEvil, there's the whole BrotherSisterIncest thing with their younger sister, though he didn't know about that, with the whole SwitchedAtBirth ordeal.]]
* BalefulPolymorph: [[spoiler:Heavy Weather, which turns living things into snails.]]
* BirthmarkOfDestiny: [[spoiler:Also inherits the Star mark via his connections to Enrico.]]
* BrightIsNotGood: [[spoiler:BalefulPolymorph ''rainbows!'']]
* [[spoiler:BrotherSisterIncest: An unwitting variety, what with the whole SwitchedAtBirth problem. Enrico's [[StartOfDarkness reaction to this]] sets in motion the events that will lead to him being fully under Dio's influence...]]
* CainAndAbel: [[spoiler:With Enrico, though with his memories returned, he comes across as the bigger {{Jerkass}}, killing a doctor for no reason.]]
* ClapYourHandsIfYouBelieve: Apparently how Heavy Weather works. [[spoiler:Observers start thinking they're snails on a subconscious level, so they start actually turning into snails. Although there are some implications that the whole thing is one big mass hallucination, or induced mental illness]].
* ChickMagnet: If your chicks are slugs anyway.
* [[spoiler:DeathSeeker: Although he becomes just as omnivengeful after regaining his memory as before losing it, Weather quickly decides it's better for the world if he and his Stand are dead. He just needs to make sure it's meaningful by taking Enrico with him. Doesn't quite work...]]
* ElementalPowers: Controls the weather [[spoiler:to the point he can manipulate the ozone layer to create subliminal messages to cause people to turn into snails.]]
* HandWave: [[spoiler:Heavy Weather manipulates the ozone to cause light to refract oddly, making observers subliminally think they are snails, which causes them to actually become snails. Araki handwaves this nonsense application of weather control by pointing out that meteorology only extrapolates from past events and still can't ''predict'' the weather --t here could be crazy things like snail transfiguration that we simply haven't observed yet]].
* InSeriesNickname: He was apparently known as Weather in high school.
* [[spoiler:{{Jerkass}}]]: [[spoiler:Is a much-less pleasant person after he gets his memories back.]]
* LaserGuidedAmnesia: [[spoiler:Courtesy of Enrico using Whitesnake to extract his memory-disc,]] Weather has absolutely no recollection of his time before he appeared in the Green Dolphin Prison. Considering what happens after he gets his memory back, that's a ''good'' thing.
* NiceHat: Seems to be this, unless it's extreme AnimeHair with horns.
* NoCelebritiesWereHarmed: We don't know if it's intentional, but his fuzzy horned hat makes him look a ''lot'' like [[Music/{{Jamiroquai}} Jay Kay]], to the point where one fan made a [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYCk2udVFvo Virtual Insanity parody]] with Weather Report.
* NoSenseOfPersonalSpace: Tends to lean in very closely when he's speaking.
* [[spoiler:OlderThanTheyLook: Turns out to be thirty-nine, just like his twin brother Pucci.]]
* PersonalityPowers: [[spoiler:Heavy Weather is a manifestation of his misanthropy]].
* PowerIncontinence: [[spoiler:Weather Report never really had the best of control over Heavy Weather, which is part of why Enrico took his memories in the first place.]]
* PowerLimiter: [[spoiler:His amnesia keeps him from gaining full access to his powers. Once the memories come back, [[PowerIncontinence everything goes]] [[BalefulPolymorph to hell]].]]
* PowerOfTheStorm: Weather Report, natch. [[WeatherDissonance Then again, not many people have ever weaponized raining frogs before...]]
* TheQuietOne: [[spoiler:Till he gets back his memories and returns to being a {{Jerkass}}]]
* [[spoiler:RoaringRampageOfRevenge: When the goons Pucci hired went farther than planned (he didn't know they were KKK) and [[DespairEventHorizon raped his sister and drove her to suicide]], Weather came to desire revenge against ''the entire world'', in the process awakening his Stand. ''In Heavy Weather mode''. When Donatello restores Weather's memory, we're back to Heavy Weather.]]
* TookALevelInBadass: The initial description of his Stand indicates that he can only affect the weather in the air immediately around him. After the requisite first bout of nearly dying, he can legitimately make it rain outdoors. [[spoiler:Then he gains Heavy Weather.]]
* [[spoiler:SuperpoweredEvilSide: Not only does his power become harmful due to the fact he can't turn off his snail transfiguration ability, he's also much more of a jerk than before.]]
* [[spoiler:SwitchedAtBirth: A mother whose own child was stillborn stole him, and made him think she was his biological mother--in the process leaving his fraternal twin Enrico Pucci without his brother. And, more importantly, left their younger sister [[BrotherSisterIncest without the knowledge that she had more than one brother]]...]]

! Narciso Anasui (Stand: Diver Down)
http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/annasui_6228.bmp
-> Voiced by: YuuichiNakamura (''All-Star Battle'')

A crossdressing male prisoner convicted of murdering his girlfriend and her lover. Despite Emporio's claims that he would never help anyone for any reason, he decides to help with Jolyne's quest after falling in love with her at first sight. His Stand, Diver Down, can dive into objects and jump back out or tamper with their inner workings.

He is named after the fashion designers [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narciso_Rodriguez Narciso Rodriguez]] and [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anna_Sui Anna Sui]]. His stand is named after the Music/VanHalen album ''[[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diver_Down Diver Down]]''.
-----
* AxCrazy: His obsession with "taking things apart" doesn't stop at inanimate objects...
* {{Badass}}: Starting with his first fight, he completely humiliates a marital arts master with foresight abilities with little effort.
* BroughtToYouByTheLetterS: Diver Down has stylized Gothic "D"s on its forehead and body.
* CharacterDevelopment: He becomes slightly more responsible as the story goes along and slightly less obsessive over Jolyne.
* CreepyCrossdresser: Skirts pretty close to it, which is the in-universe explanation for his appearance, though considering how his Stand can rearrange things from the inside, he may have decided to change it to make him more feminine for whatever reason.
* DoggedNiceGuy: "Nice" is stretching it a bit, though.
* DubNameChange: For both himself and his Stand; in the English version of ''All-Star Battle'', he becomes Narc Anastasia, while his Stand becomes Diver Drive. One can only sympathize with the translators, since the real names could have opened them up to ''three'' separate lawsuits.
* FightingSpirit[=/=]WeirdnessMagnet
* IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy: Downplayed and PlayedForLaughs, perhaps. At one point, he goes over the top trying to court Jolyne in front of Jotaro, asking for his permission to marry her. Jotaro, being in completely new territory here, doesn't know what to do, so he eventually just grabs Jolyne and tries to hide her behind him, telling Anasui to never so much as touch her and at the same time also indicating that he really does care about his daughter. Mission accomplished.
* JerkAss: To everyone except Jolyne and Jotaro.
** JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Or... tarnished bronze. He has a vaguely altruistic side, is the point. He's willing to die for his friends, at least.
* [[spoiler:HeroicSacrifice: With his dying breath, he offers up his body for Foo Fighter to take so that she herself could stave off death. She one-ups him by using the last of her power to heal him. F.F.'s sacrifice heavily affects him by the end of the story, and citing her example, he makes himself the primary target for the Made In Heaven-empowered Pucci by openly using Diver Down to give everyone SuperToughness. His plan to give Jotaro an opening required his complete impalement.]]
* LongHairedPrettyBoy: Initially a shorter haired girl before the UnsettlingGenderReveal.
* LoveAtFirstSight: With Jolyne.
* LoveRedeems: His love for Jolyne ultimately causes him to clean up his act.
* MrFanservice: His mesh shirt exposes his muscular body.
* NewPowersAsThePlotDemands: More that Araki had difficulty remembering the exact nature of Diver Down's powers.
* NiceHat: About as cool as Weather Report's
* RetCon: His gender, mentioned below. His Stand abilities also started out as being able to delay and extend kinetic energy within and -out of objects, but were retconned into Diver Down being able to phase through objects and rearrange their insides, more in line with his fascination of taking things apart. Which may explain why he initially looked female, since he rearranged his body to look that way for some reason in-verse.
* SociopathicHero: Wants to take things apart.
* StalkerWithACrush: His ideas for courting Jolyne leave something to be desired. Trying to get F.F. to push Jolyne down a flight of stairs, just so he can catch her, and trigger her love for her savior? Um...
* TokenEvilTeammate: Initially, with CharacterDevelopment, he becomes a better person to get together with Jolyne.
* UnsettlingGenderReveal: Originally, this character was going to be a woman simply named Anasui or Anna Sui, but Araki decided that he needed another male ally for Jolyne in addition to Emporio and Weather. ''After'' the original female template had been drawn while inside Burning Down the House. Hermes is actually [[LampshadeHanging pretty surprised to find that Anasui's actually male]].
* WalkingShirtlessScene: Technically he's wearing a mesh shirt. And even then, it's more like he wrapped himself in maybe a dozen strips of thread and called it good.
* {{Yandere}}: He ended up in prison for murdering his ex-girlfriend for cheating on him. He's also quite violent towards anyone who he perceives as getting in the way between him and Jolyne.

! Enrico Pucci (Stand: Whitesnake[[spoiler:/C-Moon/Made in Heaven[[note]]Originally named "Stairway to Heaven" during serialization[[/note]] ]])
http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pucci_1321.bmp
-> Voiced by: Creator/ShowHayami (''All-Star Battle'')
-> Whitesnake[[spoiler:/C-Moon]] voiced by: Takuya Kirimoto (''All-Star Battle'')

A Catholic priest and possibly the disciple who was dearest to Dio. Pucci aims to attain Dio's idea of heaven, which leads to him engineering the framing of Jolyne so that Jotaro will come visit her in jail. This gives Pucci the opportunity to steal the memories of Jotaro, the only person who read Dio's personal notes before destroying them.

His stand, Whitesnake, allows him to steal a person's soul in the form of two discs: one for memories and one for a stand. These discs can be implanted in others, allowing Pucci to create stand-users from normal people. He can also implant orders using custom-made discs. [[spoiler:His second stand, C-Moon, alters gravitational force so that an opponent will constantly "fall" away from Pucci and can turn things inside out by altering their centers of gravity. His third stand, Made in Heaven, can control gravitational force to the point of affecting relativity, speeding up time until the death and rebirth of the universe]].

He is named after the fashion designers [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enrico_Coveri Enrico Coveri]] and [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emilio_Pucci Emilio Pucci]]. His stands are named after the band Music/{{Whitesnake}}, [[spoiler:the Music/{{Wings}} song [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C_Moon "C Moon"]], and either the Music/LedZeppelin song [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stairway_to_Heaven "Stairway to Heaven"]] or the [[Music/{{Queen}} Freddie Mercury]] song [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Made_in_Heaven_(song) "Made in Heaven"]].]]
-----
* AffablyEvil: In a bit of a departure for the series' main villains (barring Kira and perhaps Dio on a good day), Pucci is pretty good-humored. When he gets pissed, it's usually because he's being pushed or, by the end of the series, become deranged, and he doesn't bother to hide it. A big part of it is that he doesn't perceive himself as being amoral and thus isn't prone to being a JerkAss.
* AmbiguouslyBrown: Presumably, he's half-black, half-white. Half-White Italian, to be more precise. He could be the child of full-blooded Sicilians, who often have African heritage and as a race resemble mixed-race African-Caucasians, which would explain his varied family.
** [[spoiler:He's related by blood to Weather Report, who was lynched and almost killed by the Investigation Agency that he hired (because they were associated with the KKK) for going out with Pearla.]]
* AmbiguouslyGay: Shown in a flashback to be lying in bed with a shirtless Dio, implying that they had just made love. And WordOfGod does confirm that Dio would romantically pursue ''anyone'' who earns his respect, male or female.
** However, it ''is'' possible that it's [[IfItsYouItsOkay just Dio he's interested in.]]
* AvengingTheVillain: His primary reason for fighting the [=Jojos=] is to avenge Dio's death, though it has more to do with VillainousFriendship than BlindObedience, let alone UndyingLoyalty.
* {{Badass}}: He holds his own in a handcuffed fist fight with ''Jolyne and Stone Free". And that's not even getting into his antics after the "Gravity of the Full Moon" chapters.
** BadassFamily: [[spoiler:Both he and his brother, aka, Weather Report are very strong Stand users.]]
** BadassLongrobe: The garment he's wearing looks like a mix between a cassock and a greatcoat, and he's definitely a badass.
*** It's actually not a robe at all. [[SubvertedTrope He's wearing a black dress-like garment and a tight fitting shirt with matching designs. The belt he wears helps hide the fact that they're not actually attached.]]
*** Though some images do show it clearly being a single robe, other images also show the upper portion riding up his torso (i.e. as a shirt), so it [[DependingOnTheArtist depends on Araki's mood]].
** [[BadassPreacher Badass Priest]]
** HandicappedBadass: Tries to invoke it by EyeScream, [[spoiler:but Anasui turns it against him with a vengeance]].
* BigBad: Of ''Stone Ocean''.
* BigScrewedUpFamily: [[spoiler:He and his brother, Wes Bluemarines aka Weather Report, were separated at birth, which eventually resulted in BrotherSisterIncest with the latter becoming a couple with their younger sister. Pucci was understandably worried about this.]]
* {{Biseinen}}: He may be over 40, but he's a ''gorgeous'' biseinen.
* [[spoiler:BishonenLine]]: Not himself directly, but his Stand [[spoiler:goes from an AmbiguouslyHuman being to a semi-monstrous HumanoidAbomination and finally to a small centaurian being.]]
* BrickJoke: [[spoiler:How he's defeated. Namely, the Weather Report stand CD]].
* [[spoiler:CainAndAbel: The Cain to Weather Report's Abel.]]
* CharacterTic: He counts off prime numbers when losing due to their indivisibility giving him a sense of security. Interestingly, we actually see him develop this habit during the story in reaction to all the stress, and being new to it, he has a bit of trouble figuring out the larger prime numbers.
* [[ContrastingSequelMainCharacter Contrasting Sequel Big Bad]]: Diavolo hid from view as best he could and had unconventional, inscrutable motives. The most we knew of him is that he really, ''really'' didn't want to be known about. Pucci, on the other hand, hides in plain sight as a kindly priest and had more relatable motives, having turned evil through tragedy and poisonous friends. Made especially blatant in this instance by "Diavolo" being the Italian word for devil, and Pucci's occupation as a holy man.
* CynicismCatalyst: His overall FreudianExcuse for his actions along with his VillainousFriendship to Dio. [[spoiler:He indirectly caused his younger sister's death in an attempt to keep her from unwittingly starting a romantic relationship with his long-lost twin brother Wes Bluemarines, which he then attributed to the power of fate and became Dio's follower.]]
* {{Determinator}}: [[spoiler:Because of the way that Made In Heaven's super speed works, he views everything in real time when it speeds up for everyone else. At the crux of the story, time is sped up fast enough that the end of the universe and a subsequent Big Bang occurs. Some fans interpret this as him living through trillions of years in real time to reshape the universe, though others put forth that he can selectively alter his own perception of time.]] He is incredibly dangerous due to an uncanny ability to find another way to fight despite being faced with defeat.
* DragonAscendant: Initially Dio's most loyal follower as well as one of his several CoDragons (with Vanilla Ice and Terrence D'Arby), he escalates to BigBad to fulfill his late master's last request.
* DragonTheirFeet: Despite being one of Dio's most loyal followers, he wasn't present in Egypt at the time of Dio's defeat.
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: His entire FreudianExcuse is how he is responsible for his little sister's death, and the reason he's adamant on killing Jotaro is to avenge his friend's death.
* ExoticEyeDesigns: His eyes have crosses over them in early appearances. Later on, he is PieEyed.
* EyeScream: Twice.
* TheFatalist: Pucci buys into the idea that everything that happens is destined to happen, which also leads him to believe...
** UtopiaJustifiesTheMeans: His ultimate plan is to [[spoiler:accelerate time to the point [[EternalRecurrence where it loops back through a singularity]]--without the Joestar bloodline following -- so everyone is subconsciously aware of what will happen in the entire future. End result: shock and horror are utterly erased, along with anything else related to surprise.]]
** His fatalism also plays into his faith as a priest; his life is riddled by strange and usually beneficial coincidences, which he equates with the will of God. Because he feels his meeting with Dio and developing his Stand at a crucial time in his life was fate, [[KnightTemplar anything]] he does in service of [[MeaningfulName Dio]], he interprets as following God's will. Though that said, he honestly seems to care more about Dio than God.
* FinalBoss: Of the Jojo Universe, and arguably the most powerful one after Kars. [[spoiler:Well, of ''this'' particular iteration of the universe, at least.]]
* {{Foreshadowing}}: A meta-example, [[spoiler:his final stand is a centaurian being resembling a jockey, and the next part of the series involves jockies running a race.]]
* FreudianExcuse: After seeing the sheer number of coincidences, simple mistakes, and decisions that snowballed into tragedy in his back story, it's easy to see how his beliefs became easily swayed by [[TheCorrupter Dio]] to turn towards Predestination and become a KnightTemplar in his search for "Heaven".
* FusionDance: [[spoiler:C-Moon is the combination of Whitesnake and the Green Baby]].
* FromNobodyToNightmare: He's a ''priest''. [[spoiler:Who succeeds in killing the ''whole cast'' save Emporio, and while not succeeding in remaking the universe in ''his'' image, regardless is singlehandedly responsible for retconning the [=JoJo=] continuity!]]
* [[spoiler:GravityMaster: The effect of C-Moon, which can both alter gravity so that everything falls away from Pucci and use gravity to [[BodyHorror completely invert]] anything it touches.]]
* [[spoiler:HeroKiller: The biggest one in the series. Near the end of the series, he kills the ''entire'' cast of heroes except for Emporio. The deaths stick, too, more or less.]]
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: Twice: [[spoiler:Once when attempting an EyeScream to not see Weather Report's power, which almost led to his death, then his accidental insertion of Weather Report's [=CD=] into Emporio gave the latter the power to kill him]]
* IronicEcho: The way Pucci manages to [[spoiler:kill Jotaro during the final fight.]] Just like Dio, Pucci doesn't hesitate to play dirty when he has to...
** [[spoiler:How he is killed off by Emporio, using his own CD against him.]]
* KnightTemplar: To quote Weather Report on Pucci, "The kind of evil that doesn't realize that it's evil...is the worst kind there is."
* LightIsNotGood: KnightTemplar: check. SinisterMinister: check. [[spoiler:A divine looking stand that warps reality: check!]]
* ManipulativeBastard: Manipulates almost all the antagonists in the saga to do his dirty work.
** [[spoiler:HoistByHisOwnPetard: Which almost results in his death, since he relied on Anasui when he was blind]]. [[spoiler:[[DiabolusExMachina Almost]].]]
* MasterOfIllusion: Whitesnake can create a mist that either puts people into a dream-like state so he can either slowly dissolve them or use it to disguise himself.
* MundaneUtility: At one point, he uses Whitesnake to put an ordinary music CD in Guccio, [[Funny/JojosBizarreAdventure turning the latter into a human loudspeaker]].
* NearVillainVictory: Sorta [[spoiler: He succeeds in killing all the heroes (including Jotaro and Jolyne) save Emporio. But his plan banked on speeding up time so that the Joestar bloodline wouldn't follow. Emporio (and by an extent, Weather Report) manages to kill him before the latter comes to fruition, resulting in the Joestars surviving in the new timeline.]]
* OlderThanTheyLook: Similarly to Jotaro, Pucci appears to have aged very little from his tutelage under Dio twenty-three years before. Keep in mind that he's pushing 40 at the time of the story.
* OnlyFriend: Possibly this to Dio [[spoiler:after Jonathan's death]], as he's the only subordinate that Dio ever treated as an equal.
* OrwellianRetcon: His [[spoiler:third and final Stand]], named [[spoiler:Stairway to Heaven]] while the manga was running in ''Jump'', was renamed [[spoiler:Made in Heaven]] when the chapters were compiled into trade paperbacks. This is popularly believed to be because the latter's song lyrics fit Pucci's motivations better.
* [[spoiler:OurCentaursAreDifferent: Made in Heaven has a humanoid upper torso, but with a horse head at the area where the equine lower half meets and lacks an additional two legs to be a true centaur. Essentially, it looks like a satyr with a horse head sticking out of its crotch.]]
* PersonalityPowers: Whitesnake's ability comes from Pucci's desire to [[spoiler:preserve the memories of his dead sister]].
* PowersAsPrograms: Whitesnake can extract Stands and memories as disc-like objects. These can be placed in other people to give them those powers and memories.
* PowerMakesYourHairGrow: Grows a ponytail [[spoiler:after absorbing Green Baby]].
* [[spoiler:RetGone: Made in Heaven would have done this to his victims from Weather Report onwards. That would be including Jotaro, Jolyne, Hermes, and Anasui. After Emporio kills him, though, the resulting reality can be interpreted as that plot failing to the point that ''Pucci'' has been hit with RetGone.]]
* SadisticChoice: His favorite means of escape, it seems, is to point out that someone else is about to die when he's cornered -- so will you waste time killing Pucci, or save your friend? For a specific example, Pucci puts [[spoiler:Jotaro]] before a nasty one: [[spoiler:saving Jolyne from a FlechetteStorm or killing Pucci.]] [[spoiler:Jotaro]] tries to take both options, but ultimately fails [[spoiler:and is killed by Pucci]].
* ScaryBlackMan: Scary Italian, African American Catholic Priest anyway, especially [[spoiler:when he gets the RetGone ability]]. Those freak eyebrows don't help matters...
** He might have been designed to be Sicilian, they being dark skinned and sometimes of African descent.
* SinisterMinister: Sinister ''priest'', anyway. Of course, it's not going to be easy convincing him that following Dio's scheme is ''not'' God's will in any shape or form...
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: For the overseas release of ''VideoGame/JoJosBizarreAdventureAllStarBattle'', [[spoiler:Made in Heaven was renamed to the phonetically identical "Maiden Heaven", a possible StealthPun to Music/IronMaiden.]]
** His surname is also spelled "Pucchi" in ''All Star Battle''.
* StealthPun: He's a priest who's dedicated his whole life to fulfilling Dio[[labelnote:*]]({{God}} in Italian)[[/labelnote]]'s prophecy for Judgement Day.
** [[spoiler:Made in Heaven was renamed to "Maiden Heaven" in ''VideoGame/JoJosBizarreAdventureAllStarBattle'', a subtle reference to Music/IronMaiden.]]
* StoryBreakerPower: [[spoiler:Made in Heaven lets Pucci gradually speed up time to the point of entire days passing in seconds for other characters while Pucci sees everything as happening in normal time, effectively giving him escalating super speed. At his peak, he essentially has The World's time-stop ability on ''constantly'' (while Jotaro's World powers are virtually useless against him by this point). He's fast enough that he kills Annasui, Jotaro, Hermes, and Jolyne ''easily''. Arrogance is really the only reason he loses to Emporio]].
* ThrowingOffTheDisability: He was born with a club foot and used to walk with a noticeable limp. Dio's sudden and miraculous cure of his condition is what initially drew Pucci to him.
* VillainousBreakdown: [[spoiler: At his defeat when he realizes he'll be killed before the universe is remade meaning all he's done will be for naught. Even moreso when it's not a Joestar but one of their allies, a young kid at that, that does him in.]]
* VillainousFriendship: Type 1, since Dio actually trusts Pucci far more as an equal than any of his subordinates, not to mention the lengths Pucci goes to in order to fulfill his posthumous friend's ambitions.
* UndyingLoyalty: To Dio, notably in comparison to the other agents, it's closer to that of friendship than the fanaticism of the other followers.
* UnusualEyebrows: They kind of...make these little lines that go up then join into the rest of his hair after a 90-degree turn.
* WorthyOpponent: Considers Jolyne to be one, growing gradually more freaked out at her inability to die. Early on, he states that using her to get to Jotaro was a bad idea, as Jolyne's combination of single-mindedness and tactical brilliance made her a greater threat than Jotaro and that he kind of shot himself in the foot severely by trying to use her as bait.

! Guess (Stand: Goo Goo Dolls)

Jolyne's cellmate. Somewhat off-kilter. The Stand arrow grants her Goo Goo Dolls, which allows her to shrink anyone.

She is named after the clothing brand [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guess_(clothing) Guess]], while her stand is named after rock band Music/{{the Goo Goo Dolls}}.

* BorrowedCatchphrase: Likes to say "Such a good child!" in the same manner as Alessi.
* BareYourMidriff
* CuteAndPsycho
* DefeatMeansFriendship: To an extent. While she stops antagonizing Jolyne after getting beaten up and offers her sound advice on the inner workings of the prison, Jolyne still hates her and refuses to talk to her.
* FightingSpirit[=/=]WeirdnessMagnet
* FunSize
* LivingDollCollector: And dresses them up in dead animal skins to keep as pets.
* NiceHat
* PersonalityPowers: Goo Goo Dolls' ability to shrink is explained as a manifestation of her desire to make friends but have power over them.
* PokemonSpeak: Goo Goo Dolls constantly says "goo, goo".

! Jongalli A. (Stand: Manhattan Transfer)

An expert sniper and an old disciple of Dio's. The body that Jolyne and Romeo crashed into was actually already dead, and was one of Jongalli's targets. He attempts to kill Jotaro and Jolyne as revenge for Dio's death. His Stand, Manhattan Transfer, reads air movements and helps guide his bullets, making him an extremely effective sniper despite his blindness.

He is named after the fashion designer [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Galliano John Galliano]], while his stand is named after music group [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Manhattan_Transfer the Manhattan Transfer]].

* AvengingTheVillain
* ColdSniper
* FightingSpirit[=/=]WeirdnessMagnet
* HandicappedBadass: Well, he is blind.
* [[spoiler:HeKnowsTooMuch]]
* ImprobableAimingSkills: You wouldn't expect a blind man like Jongalli to be such a good sniper, would you? Well, Manhattan Transfer is the Stand equivalent of sonar, ''and'' can impart a new angle to his bullets when they reach it.

! Xander [=McQueen=] (Stand: Highway to Hell)

A prisoner working as a janitor. His Stand, Highway to Hell, will reflect any damage to himself onto anyone nearby if he attempts suicide.

He is named after the fashion designer [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_McQueen Alexander McQueen]], while his stand is named after the Music/{{ACDC}} album ''[[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Highway_to_Hell Highway to Hell]]''.

* DeathSeeker: But see below...
* FightingSpirit[=/=]WeirdnessMagnet
* PersonalityPowers: Invoked in-universe. Recognizing how utterly pathetic ''and'' despicable he was, Pucci granted him Highway to Hell hoping he'd kill himself and someone else.
* {{Synchronization}}: Highway to Hell inflicts his own self-injury onto a target as well as on himself.
* TakingYouWithMe: His Stand's ''modus operandi''. Xander's suicidal, but he also feels compelled to drag someone with him so his suffering will be shared. His Stand's power? Reflect every injury he performs on himself onto a target. Even the lethal ones.

! Mirashon (Stand: Marilyn Manson)

A female prisoner and thief who is desperate enough for parole to work for Pucci. Her Stand is Marilyn Manson, which will forcibly claim payment on a bet.

She is named after the fashion designer [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mila_Schön Mila Schön]], while her stand is named after the rock band Music/MarilynManson.

* BorrowedCatchphrase Shares the Darby brothers' "[[GratuitousEnglish GOOD!]]".
* FightingSpirit[=/=]WeirdnessMagnet
* TheGambler
* LostHimInACardGame: Much nastier than with the D'Arby brothers. Basically, if you lose or forfeit (through cheating) a bet that Marilyn Manson is overseeing, it will instantly take away from you the value that you bet. If you don't have the money with you? It just starts taking things equivalent in value -- ultimately including ''internal organs based on their going price on the black market''.
* PersonalityPowers: Invoked in-universe in the exact same manner as [=Xander McQueen=]. Upon realizing that she's ballsy enough to try stealing a jeweled crucifix ''during her parole hearing'', Pucci decides that she's perfectly compatible with Marilyn Manson.
* RedBaron: Marilyn Manson is one of the few Stands to hold a badass title, in this case "Debt Collector".

! Lang Wrangler (Stand: Jumpin' Jack Flash)

A male prisoner. His Stand, Jumpin' Jack Flash, allows him to inflict zero gravity on a target by spitting on them. The effect extends to anything the target touches, including air.

He is named after the fashion designer [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helmut_Lang_(artist) Helmut Lang]] and the clothing brand [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wrangler_(jeans) Wrangler]], while his stand is named after Music/TheRollingStones song "[[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jumping_Jack_Flash Jumpin' Jack Flash]]".
-----

* ExplosiveDecompression: Averted. Although Jumpin' Jack Flash generates a near-total vacuum like in space, Jolyne and Weather aren't in danger of rupturing. The ''real'' problem is the possibility of their blood boiling away...
* EyeScream: Almost loses an eye when Jolyne pulls him into the vacuum.
* FightingSpirit[=/=]WeirdnessMagnet
* RequiredSecondaryPowers: Acquiring Jumpin' Jack Flash also caused his fingertips and toes to grow suction cups so he could cling to walls in zero gravity.
* TheStarscream: He has thoughts of acting this way towards Pucci when it looks like his Stand really is going to kill Jolyne and Weather.

! Sports Max (Stand: Limp Bizkit)

A gangster who killed Hermes's sister. His Stand is Limp Bizkit, which can revive dead animals as invisible zombies.

He is named after the fashion brand [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Max_Mara#Brands Sportmax]], while his stand is named after the NuMetal band Music/LimpBizkit.
-----
* FailOSuckyName: He's named ''Sports Max'' and has a stand named [[LimpBizkit Limp]] [[NuMetal Biz]][[TheScrappy kit]], for Christ's sake!
* FightingSpirit[=/=]WeirdnessMagnet
* OurGhostsAreDifferent: His Stand allows him to bring back people as invisible, inaudible zombies, including, when he dies, himself.
* TaxidermyIsCreepy: A hobby he picked up in prison that rather unsubtly foreshadows his new power.
* TokenMotivationalNemesis: For Hermes.
* [[spoiler:UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: He was told to use his power to revive Dio from his bone. What he brought back turned out to be infinitely more dangerous.]]

! Viviano Westwood (Stand: Planet Waves)

One of the guards assigned to the solitary confinement portion of Green Dolphin. He attacks Jolyne when he falls under Survivor's influence.
-----
* BloodKnight: Survivor makes him into a rather impressive one.
* DeathFromAbove: Planet Waves can summon meteoroids from outer space toward Westwood, which will harm an opponent if he can put them between himself and the meteoroid. Unfortunately, as Jolyne found out, it's impossible to try the same tactic on him, since they will simply disintegrate before they hit him.
* DrunkWithPower
* FightingSpirit[=/=]WeirdnessMagnet
* TheGuardsMustBeCrazy: Viviano, it's really not a good idea to release all the maximum security prisoners from their cells just because you want to fight them to death. [[JustifiedTrope Justified]] due to Survivor's effects making him an AxCrazy BloodKnight.
* PoliceBrutality: Thanks to Survivor's effects. Although there were signs he had a sadistic streak from the start.
* StarPower
* UnskilledButStrong: Planet Waves has an absurd statline (A-ranked in power, range, and durability, B-ranked in speed), but Westwood is still a throwaway villain. But this is Jojo, where HeartIsAnAwesomePower is basically a law of physics.

! Kenzo (Stand: Dragon's Dream)
-> Dragon's Dream: Tamotsu Nishiwaki (''All-Star Battle'')

An expert practitioner of kenpo kept in solitary confinement. His specialty is manipulating people's bodies with his martial arts so they will die of drowning. His Stand, Dragon's Dream, tells him the best angle of attack based on a discipline known as "fengshui assassination".
-----
* AllChinesePeopleKnowKungFu
* BadassGrandpa
* CharlesAtlasSuperpower: His Stand is the embodiment of his skill in fengshui assassination and naturally developed after 40 years of martial arts training.
* {{Cult}}: He used to lead one, complete with celebrity spokespeople.
* EmpoweredBadassNormal: He was an ''extremely skilled'' martial artist long before gaining a Stand. In fact, see CharlesAtlasSuperpower above.
* EvilOldFolks
* FantasticFightingStyle: Fengshui assassination mixed with Kenpo.
* ReligionOfEvil
* TouchOfDeath: His favorite trick is "drowning his opponent on land", where he jams a PressurePoint in his opponent's mouth at the 4th cervical spine, and causes the adrenal gland in their kidneys to go into overload while simultaneously expelling most of the oxygen from their lungs so they drown in their own backed up bodily fluids. [[ArtMajorBiology Somehow.]]
* WildCard: Dragon's Dream intentionally invokes this, even giving advice to Kenzo's opponent during the middle of a fight. [[StupidNeutral All to ensure both sides have equal odds of winning]], to its user's great annoyance.

! D&G (Stand: Yo-Yo-Ma)

* BodyguardBetrayal: Yo-Yo-Ma uses this as its ''modus operandi''. It all but falls over itself to help you out of pickles, but it's really trying to make you lower your guard so it can find a way to get the anti-human-flesh enzyme it exudes on you.
* DirtyCop: Before he was arrested, anyway.
* FightingSpirit[=/=]WeirdnessMagnet
* ForTheEvulz: Once he became convinced that Nostradamus really had foretold the world's end in 1999, he exchanged his dutiful police officer personality for one of "homicidal maniac". Why bother with holding your impulses in if even the universe isn't going to live long enough to punish you?
* NighInvulnerable: Like Yellow Temperance, ''nothing'' hurts Yo-Yo-Ma. Although in this case, it's just because it's ''that tough''. Only killing D&G will dispatch it.

! Guccio (Stand: Survivor)

A prisoner sent by Pucci to cause a brawl that would kill Jolyne. His Stand is Survivor, which uses a weak electrical impulse to increase the aggression of anyone nearby, causing them to fight for no reason.

* BloodKnight: Survivor turns its targets into this, convincing them of "the beauty of fighting".
* DroppedABridgeOnHim: Once Anasui realized not only that Guccio was an agent of Pucci, but that another such agent -- specifically, D&G -- was nearby, he arranged for Diver Down to activate its power. On Guccio's ''ribs''. In such a way that D&G's own arm was horrifically mangled.
* LetsYouAndHimFight: Survivor incites this.
* PersonalityPowers: It's not made explicit whether Pucci invoked this trope like he did with Mirashon and [=McQueen=], but even while he was a {{Muggle}}, fights tended to break out around him.
* WhatKindOfLamePowerIsHeartAnyway: While many Stand powers might look useless at first, their users' ingenuity tends to put ''that'' idea to rest. However, as far as Dio was concerned, Survivor just wasn't good for any active purpose, since its effect was uncontrollable and not easily manipulable -- make people fight each other if they have animosity, relay their weak points to each other...that's it. Now compare that with weak-in-the-description/'''''DEVASTATING'''''-in-practice Stands like Sticky Fingers and Bohemian Rhapsody...
** [[PlotTailoredToTheParty Now, when you want somebody in a high security prison ward dead...]]

! The Green Baby (Stand: Green, Green Grass of Home)

This bizarre creature is actually [[spoiler:[[CloningBlues a homonculus of Dio generated from one of his bones]] through Limp Bizkit's effects and absorbing the spirit of Survivor's victims]]. It's an integral part of Pucci's plan, as [[spoiler:it will cause the first phase of Whitesnake turning into Made in Heaven]].

* [[spoiler:CloningBlues]]: [[spoiler:It's made from one of Dio's bones, which took a life on his on.]]
* FunSize: While it doesn't seem to be actively malicious, it doesn't like it when someone approaches them. That's where the Stand comes in; its influence causes those who approach it (and don't know the passwords like Pucci does) to reduce to half their size once they close half the distance between themselves and it. And this happens again...and again...''and again''...
* [[spoiler:FusionDance: After Sports Max animated the bone's spirit, it proceeded to absorb the spirits of those who died in the brawl Survivor incited. 34 unrepentant convicts' worth of spirit. That turned it into the homonculus. ''Then'', after Pucci proved himself by reciting all the proper passwords, the homonculus and Green, Green Grass of Home ''fused with Whitesnake'', creating C-Moon.]]
* HumanoidAbomination: Not an openly violent one, but it is a green skinned humanoid that can shrink whatever chases it except ones who know the MagicalIncantation.
* MagicalIncantation: Not quite magic, but a series of secret words Pucci needs to say to the Green Baby as part of Dio's plan.
-->'''Pucci''': "''Spiral Staircase! Rhinoceros Beetle! A Ghost Town! A Pear Tart! Rhinoceros Beetle! Via Dolorosa! Rhinoceros Beetle! Singularity Point! Giotto! Angels! Hydrangea! [[FourIsDeath Rhinoceros Beetle!]] Singularity Point! The Secret Emperor!''"

! Miuccia "Miumiu" Mueller (Stand: Jail House Lock)

At first, Miumiu looks like another female inmate. [[spoiler:She's actually the prison's head of security.]] Her Stand, Jail House Lock, renders its targets unable to remember more than three things at a time.

* FightingSpirit[=/=]WeirdnessMagnet
* FourIsDeath: Since Jail House Lock's victims can only remember three recent things at a time, her most reliable way for dispatching them is to shoot four bullets at a time at them. This way, even if they notice how the first three bullets are flying and come up with a way to avoid them, they'll completely forget about the first bullet when the fourth bullet shows up. [[spoiler:Jolyne gets around this by concentrating on a puddle of water under the bullets' flight path, letting her register them not as separate projectiles, but a single pattern.]]
* HiddenInPlainSight: Sometimes she dresses herself as a prisoner in order to taunt her victims, since they wouldn't remember her anyways.
* LaserGuidedAmnesia: Your short-term memory pretty much ceases to exist once Jail House Lock gets its hands on you.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: The song is named "Jail House ''Rock''", but her arc in the manga is named "Jail House Lock" ([[GratuitousEnglish in English]]), so most fans use the latter.

! Ungaro (Stand: Bohemian Rhapsody)

One of the four sons of Dio. ''Nasty''-tempered drug addict. His Stand, Bohemian Rhapsody, evokes stories right onto people who like them. This is worse than it sounds...''much'' worse.
-----
* BastardBastard
* {{Dhampyr}}
* FightingSpirit[=/=]WeirdnessMagnet
* {{Gonk}}: Add in the fact that he's a paradigm junkie, and you can guess how low his Pleasantness Quotient is...
* [[spoiler:HoistByHisOwnPetard: Weather defeats Bohemian Rhapsody by ''telling a story'' of a superhero-like being who rounds up wayward story characters (i.e. the entities created and/or transformed by the Stand) and forces them back into their stories of origin. Ungaro's horror and disbelief at Bohemian Rhapsody being made to negate itself makes him ''regress into a vegetative state''. (We should be thankful that he didn't think to just ''reactivate'' his Stand...Then again, given that Weather could just tell his story again...)]]
* ShoutOut: Creates these in ''droves''. Given what his Stand ability does, this should come as no surprise. Even if we don't see the majority of the characters.
* TheUnfought: He ''never'' actually meets the heroes; he only interacts with Pucci, who helps make him aware of his Stand. He spends all of his post-hospital screen time on board an airplane, [[JabbaTableManners glutting himself on fine food and drink]] while Bohemian Rhapsody's creations run roughshod over the world.
* YouCantFightFate: ''This'' is why the story evocation is so devastating. You'll be cast into the role you most identify with, and no matter what you do, everything that befell the character in the original story will befall you. Meaning that if the character in question died, ''so will you.''

! Rykiel (Stand: Sky High)
http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rykiel_3554.jpg

One of the four sons of Dio. Not the most self-confident of people, and arguably only assisting Pucci out of gratitude.
-----
* AntiVillain: Easily the most sympathetic of the three sons of Dio that help out Pucci, he only does so out of gratitude to Pucci for helping him out with realizing his Stand ability, not out of PowerHigh, but because it made him a CosmicPlaything.
** He's also a GracefulLoser who reveals information because they managed to beat him.
* ArtisticLicenseBiology: Let us count the ways! (1) Rods don't actually exist, and are simply photo artifacts. (2) Rods apparently feed on body heat by flying close to other animals. (3) This feeding shuts down any kind of bodily function at the locations they fly near.
* {{Badass}}: He's the only son of Dio to fight Jolyne directly, and sets himself on fire to do so.
** He tops it off when he relives himself of the pain with his sky rods, in order to pull a TakingYouWithMe as he is dying. Clearly, he's inherited his father's trait of {{Badass}}.
* BastardBastard: Though he's more sympathetic than the other two.
* TheBeastmaster: With the cryptozooids called "rods."
* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: Helps Pucci out of gratitude for helping him realize his stand ability.
* CosmicPlaything: He certainly felt like this, at least until Pucci revealed ''why'' things kept falling flat for him. It was actually his semi-dormant Stand constantly attracting heat-sucking rods to him.
* {{Determinator}}: When confronted with Joylne, who set herself on fire, he does the same to gain an advantage, and when he is landed with a mortal blow, he decides to dull his pain receptors to do a TakingYouWithMe on her.
* {{Dhampyr}}
* GenerationXerox: While Giorno may have the charisma and DangerouslyGenreSavvy perception and Dontello may have inherited the ItsAllAboutMe attitude of their father, Rykiel inherits their father's habit of {{Determinator}} and hardcore {{Badass}}ery; just look how he puts himself on fire in order to able to fight Joylne and later tries to take her down with him once he's mortally wounded. He also inherited the rare trait of Dio -- that is, the ability to acknowledge a WorthyOpponent, as he tells Jolyne out of respect for her skills.
* GracefulLoser: After his loss, he's more than willing to spill everything he knows, including the fact that [[spoiler:Weather Report is Pucci's twin brother]].
* FightingSpirit[=/=]WeirdnessMagnet: It attracted sky rods in his case, which led to being a CosmicPlaything.
* NervousWreck: After a lifetime of being a CosmicPlaything, he's extremely prone to constant panic attacks. He does get a degree of confidence upon getting control of his Stand.
* ScienceMarchesOn: The so-called rods were eventually revealed to be normal insects flying at such high speeds that cameras would capture them as longish "rods" (hence the name) with multiple wings. Not that Araki would [[RuleOfCool let a minor detail like this affect the nature of Sky High's minions...]]
* WorthyOpponent: Considers Joylne this for beating him, so he tells her out of gratitude

! Donatello Versace (Stand: Underworld)
-> Voiced by: Eiji Miyashita (''All-Star Battle'')

One of the four sons of Dio, and the most like him in mentality. His stand is Underworld, which allows him to read and animate "memories" in the ground. He uses this ability to trick Jolyne and Hermes into entering the memory of a plane crash from 2005 and to [[spoiler:retrieve Weather Report's memory disc from a memory of Pucci]].
-----
* BastardBastard
* {{Dhampyr}}
* FightingSpirit[=/=]WeirdnessMagnet: Underworld, and it's the reason why his life was miserable before meeting Pucci.
* GenerationXerox: Of the four children, including Giorno, he's the most similar to Dio in personality, having the same background with [[AbusiveParents an abusive father]], as well as the ItsAllAboutMe attitude. He even does a KickTheDog moment in the hopes of causing the heroes to undergo the DespairEventHorizon, only to awaken TheHero's BerserkButton.
* ItIsPronouncedTroPAY: It's actually pronounced "Versus", not "Vehr-sah-chay" like the designer brand.
* ItsAllAboutMe: In a InTheBlood[=/=]TurnOutLikeHisFather type of justification, he feels he should be in charge, since he's Dio's son, so the role of controlling "heaven" is rightfully his.
* KickTheDog: See SadisticChoice below.
* SadisticChoice: When Emporio finds out a weakness in the plane crash death trap -- that there were two survivors, meaning their seats should be safe--Versace makes three real {{Littlest Cancer Patient}}s drop into those seats so that Jolyne and Hermes must kill them to save themselves. [[spoiler:Hermes gets around this by making doubles of the original survivors and hiding the children inside one and herself inside the other. Jolyne, meanwhile, completely unravels into string and hides in Hermes's throat]].
* ShoutOut: His backstory is almost identical to that of Stanley from ''Literature/{{Holes}}'' -- a famous athlete's shoes, intended as a donation to impoverished children, are stolen by a thief. The thief has a change of heart and, overcome with guilt, drops them from the roof of a building, causing them to fall from the sky and hit Versace, who is quickly arrested for theft. When Versace tells the judge exactly what happened -- that they just fell from the sky -- the judge snaps at the [[RealityIsUnrealistic unbelievable truth]] and sends him to juvenile hall. The only difference between Versace and Stanley in this respect is that Versace's prison is ''much'' worse.
* TheStarscream: As far as Versace's concerned, ''he's'' the one most deserving of being the one in control of Dio's planned "heaven", not a mere confidant. He intentionally [[spoiler:restores Weather's memory]] just to try to ensure that Pucci will get wiped out.
** He justifies it as he's his son and that he should inherit his father's ambitions, and considering how similar they are in personality, it's not far off to see why he'd think this way.
* YouCantFightFate: A less devastating version than Bohemian Rhapsody, but still irksome. You can't get out of or alter one of Underworld's unearthed memories until it finishes, so you'd better find ''some'' way to circumvent whatever bad things Versace has in mind for you that the memory won't interdict.
